Amazing place, so unique. The house is more spacious than we expected and it has a lovely log burner which gives it such a cosy feel. You need a car to get around as there is not much nearby that’s walkable but this wasn’t a problem for us. The cafe around the other side of the house did a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.

We had a wonderful stay at our cottage in Laugharne. It was fantastically equipped and every little detail was thought of and appreciated by us. Jac was extremely professional as well as discreet. He checked we were okay and we felt was more than happy to help if we had needed.

It was very nice stay for us (two couples), felt like living in a farm house — just what we wanted! Highly recommend this place for quiet unity with nature.

We needed a retreat for a family get together before returning to work and university. Laugharne was a perfect location and Fernhill House was the perfect home. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you.

We stayed for 3 nights here as an extended family. Welcome pack on arrival - House had everything we needed as a large group (10). Games facilities were amazing - all in a self contained area and hot tub put to good use overlooking beautiful Welsh scenery.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

Beautiful stay for our Welsh weekend away. The BnB itself was exactly as photographed, spotless with stunning modern interior and a handy, compact, ‘everything-you-need’ kitchen area. We decided to cook both evenings, and made use of some lovely freshly harvested vegetables left for us in a whicker basket on the side - a really nice touch. 🥦🌽🍅
The Hottub was perfect in every way, theraputic, relaxing and perfect under the stars at night. Similarly, the bathroom was just as great with a strong over head shower, and 2nd handheld option. We also enjoyed finding some amusement from watching the young goats and chickens in their run nearby the back of the BnB. 🐐🐓
A really perfect stay and one we will definitely keep in mind for our future trips to Wales. Would highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sunnybanks is in a wonderful location with stunning views across the Welsh countryside. Great base to visit beaches, walks and tourist attractions.
It's very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, like home from home! Sunnybanks was spotlessly clean, the rooms are very well decorated light and airy.
We had wonderful evenings playing games on the lawn and enjoying our meals al fresco.
We would definitely recommend, we shall be returning for another great break.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Hosts very pleasant and welcoming. Beautiful flowers around the secluded patio. It is just outside Pendine on a narrow twisting road so the location isn’t absolutely ideal, but it was very peaceful with lots of bird life to watch and lovely sunsets! Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at The Old School House in Carmarthenshire was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with underfloor heating and a boiling water tap, was impressive, and we were greeted with a lovely hamper.
The living room had a cosy sofa facing an 83-inch OLED TV with a great sound system. Every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suites was finished to the highest standard.
The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day, and it was here my partner proposed—I’m happy to say, I said yes!
The house is easy to find, with ultra-fast gigabit broadband and immaculate cleanliness.
We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

Wonderful stay, one of the best we’ve had. The cottage is very cozy, has amazing views and has everything you need. We felt like home (I wish my home was like this place though). The stay was very relaxing. It was very easy to find—just click on “open the address in the maps/gogle maps” and it will take you right to the place (we used gogle maps, so the app just received the exact coordinates and led us to the exact spot.) The road at the end was totally fine—no issues at all. A typical countryside road and it’s fairly smooth. We would love to come back one day. The hosts were very responsive.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

We had a lovely break in Saint Clear's. The house was very clean and as described and the hosts were very accommodating.

The team enjoyed their stay, beds were super comfy. The housekeeper sent a note regarding plastic in a very old frying pan.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Great House. The rooms are as magnificent as the photos suggest. I'd highly recommend staying here if you are after a slice of grandeur.

Outstanding accommodation, the location in particular provided breathtaking views.
The house itself is very well equipped and there is nothing that you need to buy to make your stay comfortable. A welcome pack of chocolates, biscuits, wine, milk and butter were very much appreciated.
The layout of the property is perfect for a family or couples looking for a relaxing break.
The grounds are perfect for explorative energetic children, our son particularly loved his morning visit to the cows.
I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s an absolute steal and we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay in Pendine, the apartment was clean and well kept plus the view over the beach was amazing. Only 15 mins walk to the local amenities and 20min drive to Saundersfoot and 25 mins to Tenby. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. We genuinely couldn't have asked for me - thank you for sharing your beautiful corner of the world with us.

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Very easy instructions to follow to access the property and welcomed by the host Richard who as very welcoming . It was the most tranquil property, with beautiful views . So quiet and cosy. We had everything we needed and it was so nice to switch off and fully relax . With a very busy life , we just needed to have space and time, we had amazing use of the pool and sauna and loved the jacuzzi bath ! We didn’t want to leave a review as worried it will get booked up :) it was perfect

The hill up to the property is a bit steep and may not suit everyone but we were fine with it. The property was very clean and tidy throughout, and the kitchen was fully stocked for self catering. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

Cannot say how great this place is. Probably the best beach in Great Britain over the road. Flat spotless. Has everything you could ever want.

We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

So warm and cosy and a total home from home experience! We made use of the board games Charlotte left out and went for walks in the private woodlands. The younger children loved the swings, the fairy doorway and the mud kitchen! Charlotte had left a beautiful tree and other Christmas decorations. We loved the big open living space which was ideal for having family visiting. They also loved the barn! We very much hope to return next year.

We were blown away with the views, absolutely lovely. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, clean and had everything we needed, and more. Great location for exploring the local area, Tenby and Saundersfoot not being too far to drive to. The Pendine Sands great for a day on the beach.

An absolutely fantastic, well thought out home that caters for all your needs. Every room has been so carefully crafted, providing all you could possibly need, exactly where you need it. The bedrooms with en-suite were spacious, including a huge master bedroom with a huge en-suite, very impressive. The kitchen was a joy to work in with so much utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, pots and pans galore. Outside was a large hot tub where you could relax and enjoy the splendid scenery, boats, water, a castle, quite incredible. Worth every penny and more.

The cleanest and most well equipped place we've ever stayed at. A beautiful and spaceous bungalow i'd have no hesitation in recommending. Friendly host checked in on us and showed us how to use the hot tub but was never intruding. Also gave us a beautiful hamper and bottle of wine. If we're ever staying in the area again I will book again.

Cartrefle was all we expected and more. The log burners made it feel very cosy, large bedrooms and really comfortable beds were a real bonus. Beautiful, well equiped, spacious and beautifully renovated with plenty of outdoor space. Just need to be mindful of spiral staircases and that guests in those rooms are able to manage them. Great local farm based restaurant - Paternoster Farm - highly recommend (only open on certain nights and need to book): Highly recommend restaurant at the Point House in Angel (again need to book) and the Kings Arms in Pembroke: and must visit Pembroke Castle.

We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

Was a very cosy place to stay. Our dog was a small dog and managed to get under the fence in the garden but within an hour the owners had fixed all of the fence so we were able to let our dog out. That was brilliant that they were so on it and attentive to our needs. We were left to our own plans, but we knew they were there and available should we need them. Had a lovely view and was so quiet and peaceful.
