Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

We had a lovely 6 night stay in the Coach House with our elderly dog. It was very quiet, with close parking and a view out over a horse field. The fenced garden was very practical for the dog and pleasant to have a coffee in. The accommodation was cosy and comfy and we liked having the option of using the pub/restaurant as well. There was plenty to see and do in the area. The owner was very reactive to any questions we had. We thought this was very good value.

Beautiful historic house in a peaceful location with amenities in easy reach. The swimming pool is small but great for cooling off and the evening sun on the terrace made it feel quite Mediterranean. Huge rooms and lots of space, we hardly used a couple of the rooms at all. The top floor is great for kids or a family with children as it’s quite open plan. Would highly recommend it for a large family group.

The cottage was so much more spacious than we expected. With panoramic views across the valleyvtobthecrear, and the sweeping estuary to the front. super place.

The whole place was fantastic, Hazel has thought of everything. From the welcome pack to the personal greeting nothing was too much trouble.
The grandchildren had a great weekend and the hot tub and games room were the cherry on top.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

My little family and I had a wonderful 5-nights stay in Pendine. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need! Despite the weather being absolutely awful for 4 out of the 5 days, we still had a fab time :) views are unbelievable looking out over the seafront, highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes :)

What a fabulous property exceptionally clean and tidy, lovely kitchen diner with a fantastically equipped kitchen, lovely sized tv lounge and a separate small quiet room if needed. Bedrooms were amazing with super king and super comfortable beds and each bedroom had an on-suite. What a lovely comfortable place to stay. Easy access to the local store and pubs and Browns restaurant. The Dylan Thomas boat house was a ten minute walk. Easy drive on the coast road to other locations.

The Cors is really a very special place in the fabulous town of Laugharne. Close to two very good pubs, an excellent Thai restaurant and a good Deli. What makes the holiday is the house with its fabulous grounds. Clean ,well equipped, very generous welcome pack and responsive host. Highly recommended.

When you arrive at The Cors Country House you are met with the absolute "wow" factor. Just entering the porperty and driving down the long beautiful private driveway is in itself breathtaking. Then when you get inside and see the beautiful rooms and the stunning views from the bedrooms of the well kept gardens you cant help but feel like youre somewhere special. It was my mums 70th birthday getaway for our family and was everything we wanted and more. We all had such an amazing time, the bedrooms were just gorgeous and the children loved the attick room. Great family lounge area where we could all sit down and talk and play games. I cannot say enough good things!

The house was spotless, had everything inside we could have wanted and the little things such as more than enough plates and towels etc for everyone which is always so helpful. A great space for everyone and the big garden is an added bonus and secure for animals which gives great peace of mind. The house was close to the town centre with perfect views from the balcony and kitchen window. We'd definitely stay at this home again it really felt like a home from home :)

Well what can I say about our stay at the bungalow apart from WOW! It’s is definitely modern and it is situated perfectly with beautiful views throughout the whole bungalow.

It has everything you need from comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, spacious kitchen plus of course the large hot tub, you can't help but enjoy yourselves.

It was clean, with plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the hot tub! There was coffee, tea, scones and Prosecco which was a lovely touch.

I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing time at the Boat House which had everything we needed for our weeks stay.
Lovely to be able to sit outside and to only hear the sounds of cows lowing or the ducks and moorhens on the pond. Truly had a great rest and would highly recommend for anyone wanting total peace and quiet but within driving distance of some great sights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage was really comfortable and beautifully furnished. A real home from home! Laugharne is lovely. We loved Poons Street Food, the castle and the walls around Laugharne.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a place with full sized fridge freezer. The whole place was very clean. It is very remote. Only a few cars drive by during the day. Ideal spot for local walking. Had a great time at the local castle. The lawn was cut a few days into our stay which made enjoying the garden easier. Would definitely stay here again.

Sunny bank is an amazing getaway surrounded by the beautiful farms and hills of Wales, close to sights like Llansteffan castle and towns like Tenby it makes for a great long weekend away destination. The owners came to check that everything was ok and gave us really good recommendations of what to visit. Would definitely go back!

location great for exploring the south Wales area, which is a lovely part of the world. Easy access to Laugharne but outside the village, so very quiet. The apartment is perfect for a couple and the hosts are so thoughtful.

It was a good place, we had a good time and the owner was very communicative and very helpful.
We had issues with wifi not working during our stay, looks like it was an BT issue (BT were called and attended but couldn't rectify the issue). Which did rob us off some quality time in the evenings.
If not everything was really good.
I would recommend this place.

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. Can’t wait to come back again for another memorable break :)

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

Wonderful stay, one of the best we’ve had. The cottage is very cozy, has amazing views and has everything you need. We felt like home (I wish my home was like this place though). The stay was very relaxing. It was very easy to find—just click on “open the address in the maps/gogle maps” and it will take you right to the place (we used gogle maps, so the app just received the exact coordinates and led us to the exact spot.) The road at the end was totally fine—no issues at all. A typical countryside road and it’s fairly smooth. We would love to come back one day. The hosts were very responsive.

The location and view from the property was simply stunning.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

Spent two days at the Lloret, it is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Laugharne. Really well presented accommodation in an amazing location. The view of the castle and the Taf Estuary are amazing. It is also a short walk from the Grist and the castle, so it is easy to walk into town for some food or a drink. We had space to park four cars without any problem, and finding it is very easy. The owners were very friendly and came over to help with the hot tub after the first day. Overall would highly recommend that anybody looking to visit Laugharne or the surrounding area visit the Lloret.

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

The hosts were really nice and accommodating. when we had unplanned arrivals join us, at our request they got the neighbouring air B’n’B set up and ready for our guests straightaway so that they had their own space. Lovely place to stay, they’ve got really friendly goats just outside the decking area too!

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here, so peaceful and isolated. Great place to unwind. Everything you could need, great sound system in the living room with tv and comfy beds. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

The owners even kindly left a birthday cake and balloon for my Dad’s 80th, along with a welcome pack of essentials. The Cottage was the perfect family house for the 12 of us ranging from 10 to 75 years. We loved the amazing views from the sun room and garden. It was an ideal location to base ourselves with beautiful beaches, walks and lots of things to do close by. The house was clean and very well kept, Great Welsh Escapes were responsive and quick to reply to any questions and kept in touch through out the stay. We had a fabulous Family Holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

We had the most wonderful week at The Barn and Chaffhouse. Such a beautiful property, and amazingly well equipped! Every little detail had been thought of - plentiful supply of crockery, cutlery and (very importantly) wine glasses! Large, thick, soft towels. Powerful showers. Full suite of modern appliances. Beautiful log burner with wood supplied (although the heating was so good we only lit it once for effect!). Excellent wifi, smart tv with Netflix. Great views over surrounding countryside and we were lucky to see some action on the firing range - we didn’t find this noisy or intrusive at all, just exciting! Garden is nicely enclosed and really well kept. All in all, cannot fault this place. Looking forward to a return visit.

The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. A lovely house, with fantastic gardens. Perfect place to stay and relax for a week with three generations of our family getting together. Minutes walk into town, plenty to do in the area and it’s such a nice place to stay you’ll be happy just staying in, even when it’s raining. If anything, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos - though we were also lucky with the sunshine.

The hosts were excellent, could not be more helpful and gave access to the farm where the cottage is located. Just follow normal countryside rules. Do not disturb the animals, if you open a gate then close it behind you...etc.
Great Welsh Escapes were also very helpful and friendly.
The property had everything as described. A great collection of books describing the area, the history and sights to visit.

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

Lovely property with very friendly and helpful hosts. They kindly let us feed their new goats and gave us home grown veg!

Wildhaven is a wonderful place to pause and reset. This was our second stay, and hopefully not our last! It really feels like it's in the heart of the Beacons National Park with nothing around by sheep, beautiful scenery, and wild horses. I can't recommend it enough.

We had a couple of hiccups with the house, but the hosts communicated well and they were resolved efficiently.

A beautiful house with breathtaking views. Plenty of room, nice upgrades, and in a fantastic location. Only a 2 minute walk to town but perfectly peaceful.

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

this is a very comfortable family house with wonderful views over Camarthen Bay . A spacious garden room that means you can sit and enjoy watching the weather coming in from the sea.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

The weeks break at the barn conversion was 1st class. The accommodation is excellent and the surrounding area stunning - Charlotte and Jerry were wonderful hosts and can’t do enough for you.

The property was well equipped and very clean. The courtyard was perfect to sit in for an evening drink. The garden was beautiful and well kept. It was a perfect location to visit different places, and going to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. Would definitely stay again.

Cannot say how great this place is. Probably the best beach in Great Britain over the road. Flat spotless. Has everything you could ever want.

The boathouse has bags of character, a pool, is in a great location and seamed to be great value… what more can you ask for 👏

Had a lovely New years Eve stay in this property, the house is very well equipped and has lovely decor , the beds are so comfortable, the property was spotless and would recommend this house

The cottage is beautifully decorated and the towels and linen were very high quality. The bedroom is a lovely size and the open plan kitchen/lounge is just perfect for a few days’ R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed. The rainfall shower was a wonderful addition.
The cottage is on a main road which was a little noisy at times but only because we’re not used to traffic. There is only a double bed as well which, again, we’re not used to but everything else was just perfect.

We absolutely loved our 6 day stay here. Felt right at home immediately. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and all the wildlife that visits is so wonderful. There's birds of all kinds. We saw Canada geese swoop in everyday and the Greylag geese had their little chicks swimming with them from the island. There's bats that come zipping right past your face if you stand outside at dusk. It's so peaceful and picturesque. There's so much to do, we didn't even get around to visiting Carmarthen! We would love to come back in the future

Magnifique - spacieux, confortable, très bien équipé, très belle vue dégagée sur la campagne, très bonne situation pour visiter le sud du Pays de Galles !

La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, immaculately presented and everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The location was perfect for touring South West Wales. The hosts were fabulous, offering us tips for places to visit and leaving us beautiful Welsh Cakes to welcome us. A fabulous restaurant 5 minutes walk away, offering delicious food. We couldn't have wished for anything more. Beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

We had a really good time! Hazel was very friendly and very helpful with the local recommendations! The place was very clean, smells nice, and comfortable. The area was also very quaint with a lot of nature (+working farm) sound -- a very nice vibe to have while being in the hot tub under the stars. Definitely recommend the place. Oh also, wi-fi was great 🫶
