The most perfect holiday home. The house was spotless, had everything inside we could have wanted and the little things such as more than enough plates and towels etc for everyone which is always so helpful. A great space for everyone and the big garden is an added bonus and secure for animals which gives great peace of mind. The house was close to the town centre with perfect views from the balcony and kitchen window. We'd definitely stay at this home again it really felt like a home from home :)

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

The property was fantastic. Everything that was stated on the site was accurate. The house is in a lovely location (up a hill), a short walk in to town, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The hosts had left us a welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch. We had taken two cars and parking was not a problem. The house was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five adults in our party. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we went back to Tenby.

Beautifully styled compact cottage situated on the high street close to the amenities of Laugharne. Everything in the village is a short walk away, including the magnificent castle down the hill. We liked the Farrow and Ball decor. The galleried bedroom area upstairs, not shown in the spec, had a wow effect when we first viewed it, presented in a boutique hotel style. Best of all the bathroom with a great walk in shower. Everything in the property felt brand new and was immaculate upon our arrival. All in all I would be happy to recommend this property to anyone wanting a break in this part of Wales.

A really comfortable and well equipped property and as is stated in the details. In a good location in the centre of Laugharne which has a good range of eating places and small stores. The food from Poons was fabulous.

what didn’t I like would be easier to answer! the building is beautiful and very comfortable. the set up was perfect for my family especially with the mezzanine floor bedroom which gave my daughters the space they needed. it has everything we needed and more!
…the cold tap in the kitchen was a bit noisy, that’s all I can think of!

This property is ideally located next to the grocery shop, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. Especially marvelous was the the view of the massive castle and relics across from the property and dusk light reflecting off the castle walls that we could see from upstairs windows. The locals were very friendly and happy to fill us in on curiously spelt Welsh place names and local information. The property was exceptionally well presented and clean with car parking right out the front

The perfect rural family retreat for our staycation. We got lucky with the weather so made good use of the hot tub, garden and patio areas and local beaches. Plenty to do and see locally for the grandkids (ages 10 months and 3 years) and adults alike.

Our first holiday since our son was born almost 3 years ago - the property was clean, spacious, and just about everything we needed for our long weekend with our family. We visited 3 beaches and had a brilliant time - would definitely return!

What an incredible, well maintained home with amazing views and only a short drive to beautiful landscapes and castles! We absolutely loved our stay. Great place to get away and amazing spot for kids (no stairs for little ones to get hurt on), with ample toys and a magical sunroom that overlooks insane views. The house is a bit further down the road than GPS said, so keep that in mind when arriving. Would love to come back one day!

Excellent bungalow, very cosy and well equipped. Dog friendly with fairly secure back garden. Michelle and Helen, the owner were very helpful and suggested good places to eat and visit. Had a delicious dinner at Brown’s Hotel and brilliant fish and chips from the wonderful woman in the local fish and chip shop in Laugharne. A really lovely holiday, thank you.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and the towels and linen were very high quality. The bedroom is a lovely size and the open plan kitchen/lounge is just perfect for a few days’ R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed. The rainfall shower was a wonderful addition.
The cottage is on a main road which was a little noisy at times but only because we’re not used to traffic. There is only a double bed as well which, again, we’re not used to but everything else was just perfect.

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We just had a wonderful week staying at Wildhaven. A perfect way to unplug by soaking up the peaceful solitude of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The property has been renovated with great care and attention. A luxurious and modern home from home with that essential vintage farmhouse feel retained throughout. We’ll be back for sure.

Lovely, cosy and stylish little house with everything we needed for a weekends stay. The location is really central and there is free street parking right outside. Jac was a great host and easy to get hold of if needed.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

When we got home, my daughter said, “I miss Rhif Un.” What a lovely stylish cottage. Everything was lovely; the sofa, the 72” TV, the bedrooms, the bathroom fixtures… everything!

We ate at one of the pubs in Laugharne and the food was scrumptious. Tenby beach was half an hour away. We parked at the Park and Ride. We ate Florentino’s Italian Restaurant - amazing food here.

Laugharne is very peaceful and there is a park near the cottage. It’s literally a minute’s walk.

The kitchen had everything we needed. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at Rhif Un.

It was very clean and had everything you could wish for. They really have thought of everything it was amazing. The hot tub was appreciated after a busy day exploring.

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a place with full sized fridge freezer. The whole place was very clean. It is very remote. Only a few cars drive by during the day. Ideal spot for local walking. Had a great time at the local castle. The lawn was cut a few days into our stay which made enjoying the garden easier. Would definitely stay here again.

The Cors is really a very special place in the fabulous town of Laugharne. Close to two very good pubs, an excellent Thai restaurant and a good Deli. What makes the holiday is the house with its fabulous grounds. Clean ,well equipped, very generous welcome pack and responsive host. Highly recommended.

A brilliant 3 night stay at Cors Country House in Laugharne. Great value for money and ideal facilities for a big group (we had 7 but ample room for several more) including comfortable rooms, bar, pool table & the cinema room is an amazing space! I’d thoroughly recommend this venue and the company who were very responsive throughout our stay, making everything hassle free.

The venue is also very well placed to discover Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We managed to do some outdoor activities such as climbing & archery at nearby Pendine as well as taking in the coastal path between Saundersfoot & Tenby which was just 25 mins drive away.

Fabulous comfortable clean cottage in a beautiful village. Lovely hot powerful shower much appreciated after hard days walking. Delicious eating places nearby. Will be back to Laugharne to do more walking.

This is an amazing property with plentiful space for everyone in the house including pool room and cinema room. The gardens are simply stunning, packed full of plants and with at least four sets of outdoor furniture.

Getting in and out of the drive was awkward on several occasions due to parked vehicles on the road outside.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse, which was set in a quiet and beautiful location and within easy reach of most major attractions that we wanted to see (less than 30-45 mins away for pretty much everything). We had the pool to ourselves every time we used it, and it was great to be able to access it basically any time we wanted to. We had one minor issue with the water pressure one day but the hosts were great and fixed it in short order, so no complaints from us. We would definitely stay again next time we go to South Wales - rare find indeed.

What a find!! We were looking for a last minute break and stumbled across this beautiful house. When we arrived we were blown away. It’s quirky decor, the size, the facilities (pool table and cinema room were a massive hit!), the grounds and the location were spot on. It was refreshing to find something so beautiful that was also dog friendly. Our dog is a big part of our family, she has mobility issues so we struggle to leave her, having the option to take her to such a stunning house was perfect.
Big thank you to Jac for all the beautiful little touches, those that were specific to us (the welcome hamper and sign) and those that were just throughout the house (the bbq with gas ready to use, the hot water bottles in the bedrooms, the toiletries etc) it really does make your house and our holiday even more memorable.

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

An amazing place for our family stay. The kids wanted a pool, and I was relieved that it was warm enough (I’ve stayed at places with pools that are too cold to actually swim in before). The bedrooms and bathrooms are all fabulous and a little bit bonkers. (I’m glad we didn’t take my elderly mother in the end though, as there are uneven floors and staircases without handrails.) The neighbours were really friendly, the village has everything you need and the beaches in the area are sublime.

A beautiful and comfortable flat with everything you could need. The flat is near the centre of Saundersfoot and has a beautiful view of the bay. It is very peaceful with easy access to the coast path for walks. I would be happy to stay here again.

Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

Chapel View is a wonderful cottage which had everything we needed for our week long stay. The place is beautifully decorated and the courtyard gives it that little added extra something. Laugharne is a lovely little village with the essential amenities and friendly locals.

Extremely convenient location, close to the centre of Laugharne, and in an extensive and magnificent garden. Wonderfully exotic and tranquil grounds surrounding a beautifully maintained, comfortable and characterful house.

Handsets for TVs were rather complicated and tricky. Some instructions would have been useful.

Everything! Quaint, quirky and full of intrigue and wonder. There was artwork everywhere, it was a really interesting place to stay! The house was huge and the grounds were even bigger. Plenty of space, well equipped for everything you could need.

Absolutely top notch. Gwalia House was perfect, home from home with far more than you would expect with a holiday let. Laugharne was fab with lots to do in and around the area. Can't recommend this place enough, thank you for making g our holiday perfect

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

Beautiful location and we had everything we needed. It was a really quiet and cozy stay.

This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the bunglow, it was more than we ever expected, made even better with the incredible views of Laugharne Village, Castle & Estuary from the bunglow and the hot tub! Everything was A*. Will definitely return.

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!

Beautiful little property in the centre of Laugharne - perfect for a couple! There’s a few pubs, The Three Mariners being the best in our opinion. Not so many places close by to eat in the evening (not all the pubs do food in the evening) but the property is well equipped for cooking. Dexter’s steak restaurant at Browns Hotel is fantastic & worth a try!
Good location for visits to Tenby, Stackpole & the Pembrokeshire coast in general - lots of things to do/see/walk within an hour’s drive.
Parking wasn’t really an issue - it’s on the road outside the property. Managed to parked straight outside every day apart from one when we parked outside Browns Hotel.
Communication with the host, Jacs, was excellent - very helpful & friendly.
Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in this area!

We loved the cottage and the warm welcome. The cottage is so well appointed, with large rooms and modern equipment designed into a characterful style. The best thing we can say is that we would love to come back soon.

Parking is a little tight, but was adequate for our small car. That is really the only criticism. We are not critical guests anyway, but our hosts made us feel like we were their special guests. Highly recommended.

We had a really good stay at The Barn and Chaffhouse. The accommodation is well decorated and comfortable. Nice welcome park on arrival including tea and coffee. Dishwasher tablets were appreciated.

Constructive feedback that can be offered
1) provide more cleaning products. It’s turn easier to keep the place clean. E.g lichen spray, kitchen roll.
2) please provide some more bowls for breakfast and replace chipped crockery.

lovely cottage with spectacular views from the living space. Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous cottage with tasteful modern interior design maintaining a rustic charm. Located in the heart of Laugharne a stone's throw from eateries, local shop and Dylan's famous watering holes The Three Mariners and Brown's Hotel. A short stroll to the waterfront, views axross the estuary and the Boat House.
We loved the log burning stove, huge sofa and TV and comfortable beds! Being able to bring our little dog was a bonus as was the allocated free parking.

What a fantastic property and location for a special birthday break. Having full access (24/7) to the swimspa was insanely fun and enjoyable. The property was well maintained and the facilities were top notch. Great communication from booking the property to the final day. A massive thanks for allowing us to stay here.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Absolutely amazing place, brilliant location and stunning garden. House is well equipped and sparkling clean, we especially loved the bar area brilliant for cocktail making and the amazing Sonos sound system. The garden is so lovely and we made the most of it and had our yoga session outside.
Its an amazing place suitable for any get together , would definitely love to stay again.

Having the right code upon arrival seemed to be an issue. Maybe my fault for not understanding the procedure.

An eclectic mix of styles which were assembled with great aplomb. The quality of renovation showed that great care and consideration had been taken in order to achieve an unique style. Hearing the sparrows chirping outside first thing in the morning was a wonderful way to wake up. Even hearing the trains travelling along the nearby mainline did nothing to disturb the tranquillity of this secret corner of Carmarthenshire. A long weekend was not enough and a return visit is hopeful.

York Lodge is an amazing house which was beautifully presented and in immaculate condition.
Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.
Would highly recommend this house and town as a place to stay

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. All the facilities at the property were in excellent condition. Beds very comfortable. Lovely views. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

The relaxing and tranquil setting is fabulous. Waking up to the views is amazing and we are grateful. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home from home, fluffy towels, fresh linen on the bed, sumptuous hot hub, fully stocked kitchen and utility room. The cottage layout has been carefully considered for the guest and nothing is lacking, we had everything and some. Hazel and Hugh are lovely, very attentive and considerate. A great location for exploring West Wales. Stunning beaches within 20 minutes. Lovely house, really well set up for families and a dog. Owners could not have been nicer. We will return.

Very easy check in and out. Amazing location with fantastic walks. Apartment was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. We will be back next year to explore more! Highly recommend it.

A brilliant 3 night stay at Cors Country House in Laugharne. Great value for money and ideal facilities for a big group (we had 7 but ample room for several more) including comfortable rooms, bar, pool table & the cinema room is an amazing space! I’d thoroughly recommend this venue and the company who were very responsive throughout our stay, making everything hassle free.

The venue is also very well placed to discover Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We managed to do some outdoor activities such as climbing & archery at nearby Pendine as well as taking in the coastal path between Saundersfoot & Tenby which was just 25 mins drive away.

Cleanliness and all facilities were available.
The neighbours parking outside the gates, it’s a very narrow gateway into the property. Most nights were impossible to get in.

The most beautiful place we've stayed inside and out. The photos don't do it justice! For us, it was perfectly located - away from the summer holiday chaos but 10-15 minutes from so many attractions (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Heatherton, Bluestone, Manor Park ...). The house itself is stunning as well as being clean and homely. We socialised mainly in the kitchen as the dining area was perfect for the kids to run outside. All the beds were super comfortable and the 3 main bedrooms were massive. The room with the bunkbeds is also a lot bigger than it looks in the photos! We'd love to go back to Middlelands!
