C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

When you drive up, you certainly get the wow factor. This carries through to the home too. The helpful guide provided was great. Certainly recommend to friends and family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cors

A picturesque guest house at the end of the street with everything you need. The associated farm is very quiet and the hostess extremely polite. She has a good sense of aesthetic design and has created beautiful flower beds.

A fabulous house. Lovely views over countryside in the back garden. The location is excellent you can get everywhere in the area very easily. We were family of 6 and everything worked so well. The weather was on our side and the beaches and facilities were amazing. Coppett Hall our favourite beach. Would book again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the welcome hamper in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to the hot tub out the back which we enjoyed.Hazel even popped over after we had checked in to make sure everything was fine for us which was very nice of her,the area was very quiet and peaceful with the lovely views ideal for a relaxing holiday especially with Tenby just 25 minute's drive away we will definitely be booking again next year

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

From booking the property for our holiday to checking out today everything has been superb. All messages and enquiries were responded to promptly and courteously. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and we were able to explore the length and breadth of south west Wales. The facilities at the property were five star. Couldn't fault anything. Bendigedig!

Lovely little cottage in a fantastic location. Cosy, warm, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean. Perfect for a couple. Laugharne itself is well-worth a visit, and the location of Chapel View in the village couldn’t be better. Definitely try the Deli (Ferryman’s) 4 doors down for a day-time meal, and for a treat, go to Brown’s Hotel, again just a few steps away, for a drink and/or a meal. Kitchen in cottage is well-equipped if you want to cook your own food. Hosting is done through a company (Great Welsh Escapes). Don’t let this put you off. They do it really well and have thought of everything, with regular communication and a personal touch in all they do. Would definitely book this place again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

What a fantastic place to stay, the Barn is beautifully styled, clean and homely. The location is great for short car rides to the beach, woods and shops. Loved seeing all the animals wondering around, hosts were so welcoming and even gave a basket of home grown vegetables!

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

Very nice accomodation , it is in the country, but shops and restaurants at 5 minutes distance by car. Populair Tenby is about a 30 minutes drive. Hosts are very friendly, the house is set up with everything you need. Absolutely fantastic!

A beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. Gwalia house has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The welcome gifts included home grown tomatoes and a delicious wine as well as some beautiful cut flowers. Also appreciated the very comfy beds and how clean the property was kept. Laugharne is a quaint and peaceful town with the castle, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. We recommend the local Dylan Thomas Boathouse walk. There’s lovely views of the Gower and River Taf. Also not too far away - a 30-45 minute drive - if you want to visit different parts of the South Pembrokeshire coast.

Our stay at Chapel View in Laugharne, Carmarthen was excellent. The cottage is ideal for two and decorated in modern style and comfort. It is well located in the centre of the upper town and is secure and quiet thanks to double glazing. We really enjoyed Laugharne and the surrounding area.

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. Can’t wait to come back again for another memorable break :)

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. Footprints is a fantastic apartment in a great location, short walk downhill into Saundersfoot, which is a gorgeous town. Apartment is spacious and really well presented with so many extra lovely touches. Large comfy bed. Communication with Sarah was excellent. We would like to return snd would definitely stay there again and recommend to others

This was a really wonderful place to stay. It was the perfect balance of feeling cosy and homely while also feeling like you’re in a professionally run accommodation (no personal items around, fresh rolled towels on the bed, all the essential soap/shampoo/cleaning products/kitchen items/seasonings etc.). The decor is incredibly stylish and very good quality (let down only slightly by the sofas upstairs not being the most comfortable). The house was spotless and one small issue we had with a broken appliance was fixed the next day. As others have said you’re right in the middle of a beautiful town with lots to see and do for somewhere relatively small. Highly recommend and hope to return (especially when the added features in the basement have been completed).

Property was ideal for our few days stay. Very clean, comfortable beds and lounge, large dining kitchen with nice garden area at the rear. Very central for the Castle, estuary and restaurants. Lots of choice of eateries and good quality too. Parking at the property was a challenge as it was on one side of street which was busy, so had to park in the square - a 5 min walk away but free. Made it a bit tense when arriving and departing for loading/unloading car. Laugharne is definitely worth a visit, the views over the estuary are beautiful.

What a fantastic stay we had at Dyffryn Taf! The area is so quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect escape. The house was immaculate—clean, tidy, and well-presented—and fully equipped with everything our family needed. My kids and I had a truly wonderful time.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Brofallen- the beautiful decor and gorgeous plants really made it feel like home from home only better! The view from the garden and conservatory is stunning- it was such a treat to start our day looking out to the distant sea, drinking the local, small batch roasted coffee left as part of the welcome pack. We had a couple of questions which were promptly and kindly responded to. We found the house very thoughtfully equipped and we cooked, played some of the games and used some DVDs and books as well. For most dogs the garden is very nicely enclosed and a great place to explore. For our rescued Serbian street dog, he did find a way out towards the neighbour's garden even though we were supervising him. We would definitely like to return- the house feels like a relaxing retreat.

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

Our stay was excellent in every respect. Most impressive was the professionalism of the management company, Great Welsh Escapes. When we encountered the unfamiliar Euro Cylinder Dead Bolt lock with horizontal key insertion, they responded promptly and patiently, even in the evening, which gave us great peace of mind.
The apartment itself is spacious and well appointed. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the location could not be better—convenient to restaurants, shops, beaches, and beautiful walking paths.
Although there was some construction nearby, it was limited to reasonable hours and did not detract from the overall tranquility. In every way, this was a delightful stay, and we would be very pleased to return.

We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing time at the Boat House which had everything we needed for our weeks stay.
Lovely to be able to sit outside and to only hear the sounds of cows lowing or the ducks and moorhens on the pond. Truly had a great rest and would highly recommend for anyone wanting total peace and quiet but within driving distance of some great sights.

Very easy instructions to follow to access the property and welcomed by the host Richard who as very welcoming . It was the most tranquil property, with beautiful views . So quiet and cosy. We had everything we needed and it was so nice to switch off and fully relax . With a very busy life , we just needed to have space and time, we had amazing use of the pool and sauna and loved the jacuzzi bath ! We didn’t want to leave a review as worried it will get booked up :) it was perfect

We enjoyed a lovely week at this beautiful cottage! Plenty of space for kids and dog both inside and outside. It was just a short drive to Freshwater West beach for awesome sand, surfing and rock pools. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday.

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

We had the most wonderful week at The Barn and Chaffhouse. Such a beautiful property, and amazingly well equipped! Every little detail had been thought of - plentiful supply of crockery, cutlery and (very importantly) wine glasses! Large, thick, soft towels. Powerful showers. Full suite of modern appliances. Beautiful log burner with wood supplied (although the heating was so good we only lit it once for effect!). Excellent wifi, smart tv with Netflix. Great views over surrounding countryside and we were lucky to see some action on the firing range - we didn’t find this noisy or intrusive at all, just exciting! Garden is nicely enclosed and really well kept. All in all, cannot fault this place. Looking forward to a return visit.

What a find!! We were looking for a last minute break and stumbled across this beautiful house. When we arrived we were blown away. It’s quirky decor, the size, the facilities (pool table and cinema room were a massive hit!), the grounds and the location were spot on. It was refreshing to find something so beautiful that was also dog friendly. Our dog is a big part of our family, she has mobility issues so we struggle to leave her, having the option to take her to such a stunning house was perfect.
Big thank you to Jac for all the beautiful little touches, those that were specific to us (the welcome hamper and sign) and those that were just throughout the house (the bbq with gas ready to use, the hot water bottles in the bedrooms, the toiletries etc) it really does make your house and our holiday even more memorable.

This place is perfect for a family and is dog friendly too. The accommodation is perfect, open plan living was great and the patio door opening out onto the decking with hot tub right outside was fab…we came in December so spent lots of time in the tub!! The beds were comfy and lots of pillows to choose from (im a fussy pillow Person). Fantastic views from all windows/doors! There is a shop within a two minute walk, a couple of pubs, the owl and pussycat cafe, and a gift shop. The fish and chip shop was closed for the Xmas period but there is a Chinese/chip shop in St Clears near by. There is a great walk around Laugharne castle, past the Dylan Thomas writing shed and boat house is a must. We explored lots of places from here. I recommend Llansteffan, Tenby and walking through the tunnels from Saundersfoot to Wiseman’s Bridge. The hosts are super helpful and communication is fab.

Cannot say how great this place is. Probably the best beach in Great Britain over the road. Flat spotless. Has everything you could ever want.

Perfect location, an extremely comfortable and clean property. It was well equipped and provided a home from home experience with a view to die for!

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

The house was very cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped and the Great Welsh Escapes staff were nice to deal with.

It was well equipped with all the necessities, and when we did have a request it was dealt with promptly. It was single level and had a great laundry room.

the only criticism is there was inadequate storage for the suitcases in the bedroom.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

A totally beautiful barn conversion that thought of every possible thing that any guest could possibly want. Stunning!
It was slightly more remote than we had anticipated which didn’t really worry us but it may do for some guests.
Nothing about this property was left to chance. Amazing!!?

The house had everything you needed. The doors opened up to the garden and we enjoyed the sunshine and the quiet location.

What a fantastic place, we had a wonderful time here and would visit again. Place was warm and cosy and very clean upon arrival, with all that you could need if you hadn't had chance to pick up any food at the shops (coffee, tea, wine, milk & even soup). The house is beautifully styled and the log burning fires were perfect for the rainy, cold days of which we had a few. We had good response to our messages even over the Easter BH weekend, they did everything to ensure we had a good time.

We had been before so everything ran like clockwork. Ou r only complaint was that the big ceiling lights were covered in dust and the fridge is very small and not easy to access but we never the less loved it as much as the first time. Almost perfect.

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

Great place to stay and would very highly recommend it - lots of little touches to make you feel at home and welcome you in. Very very quiet and peaceful. Lovely to take time out and a great place to explore Carmarthenshire. Remember this is a working farm so cattle wandering down the track behind the cottage is a lovely sight to see, maybe not so nice on the nose occasionally but it really didnt bother us.

Accommodation was excellent big rooms plenty of space didn't get under each others feet 8 of us went thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet plenty of space to chill and unwind

The steep driveway and narrow lanes we walked a lot so coming back driveway was a struggle for the elder ones in the group could probably have done with a handrail along driveway wall but nothing really negative great property all round

Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Hosts very pleasant and welcoming. Beautiful flowers around the secluded patio. It is just outside Pendine on a narrow twisting road so the location isn’t absolutely ideal, but it was very peaceful with lots of bird life to watch and lovely sunsets! Would definitely recommend.

Vom ersten Moment an fühlten wir uns in dem schön renovierten und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus wie zuhause, alles war nett eingerichtet, sehr sauber und komfortabel. Auch über das nette Willkommensgeschenk haben wir uns sehr gefreut.
