Our stay at Chapel View in Laugharne, Carmarthen was excellent. The cottage is ideal for two and decorated in modern style and comfort. It is well located in the centre of the upper town and is secure and quiet thanks to double glazing. We really enjoyed Laugharne and the surrounding area.

We decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful home for a few days and the Old School was perfect. Easy to find, excellent communication from Jess, problem with bathroom light that was quickly rectified whilst we were out and about.

Laugharne is small but peaceful with all amenities you may need (if you need to do a large food shop however I’d do this before you arrive as the convenience store is very limited in terms of veg / selection etc).

Such a beautiful, peaceful and perfect place. The photos on here don't and probably can't do the place justice. I planned to checkout early but i couldn't bring myself to leave!

A great place to use as a base to explore the area and has a good very long beach , the walk down to the beach is very steep so could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues , best to check tides too as it was not possible to walk on the beach if the tide was in but there are places to eat or drink and just gaze at the sea .
Nearby Laugherne and Narberth are lovely friendly bustling places to visit .

As a family of 6 with two you ger chikdren and two teenagers this has been the perfect holiday home for us. It's been spacious and comfortable for all. Its beautifully decorated and maintained and resourced to a very high standard. Communication throughout our stay has been amazing. We have loved morning coffee on the patio overlooking the views of the estuary and nights with the hot tub. Thank you so much for a lovely place home from home. Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

A wonderful, private and secluded property within the Castle grounds. Cosy and delightful. Super hospitable owner-hosts.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.

Setting, comfort, decor, memorable touches (books, games, nightlight) particularly for the children, kindness of the owners, inclusion of key supplies in the kitchen and bathroom, clarity of information and communications, lack of road noise.

There was nothing we did not like.

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

This is a lovely cottage in the centre of the village and close to all the local attraction.

The hosts were excellent, could not be more helpful and gave access to the farm where the cottage is located. Just follow normal countryside rules. Do not disturb the animals, if you open a gate then close it behind you...etc.
Great Welsh Escapes were also very helpful and friendly.
The property had everything as described. A great collection of books describing the area, the history and sights to visit.

The cottage was as expected really cosy, clean and well equipped. Ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

Had an amazing stay as a family here. So close to the beach which is really easily accessible and has everything you could want in a beach including amazing rock pools.

We enjoyed 4 peaceful days and night here and it was just what we needed, we cooked, enjoyed the fireplaces and sat and enjoyed the quiet both in the day, where you can look out across the valley, but also at night where stargazing was hugely enjoyable. We went on some short trips to enjoy castles and walked locally. A calm, tranquil break that is recommended for those seek a rest from their busy lives. wonderful.

We liked that the owners had clearly thought of everything. There was so much to hand, equipment wise and lots of home comforts. We took our own tea and coffee for instance but there was a great selection already there also plenty of condimentswhich we didn't expect. Footsteps is a very clean and modern apartment but still felt cosy. The bed was very comfortable and noticed when stripping the bed a think mattress topper was in place. Bliss! There is a lovely view of the sea from the living/ kitchen area. The location is perfect too, just a short downhill walk into Saundersfoot and about a forty minute walk into Tenby. We sat and watched TV one night and it felt like being at home.

A very nice comfy house, clean with nice bedding and comfortable beds.
My only criticism is that there is no handrail on the upper part of the stairs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and we need a rail to hold on to.

A really lovely property- I stayed with five friends for a long weekend and we loved the space, the kitchen was so well appointed and the bathrooms all lovely. Comfy beds, warm and cosy, and it was easy to find parking which was great with three cars. I’d easily recommend it to others- Laugharne isn’t the most bustling location (loved the Three Mariners pub!) but really easy to get out to Tenby and other beautiful areas around. I only wish we’d had slightly later check out!

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

Fabulous views across the bay. Very comfy house and perfect for us 6 people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maesteg Cottage, it was very well equipped and we found everything that we needed plus a lovely welcome pack including Welsh cakes, wine and coffee. The cottage has a few quirky features including an unusual upstairs toilet!! It is a very comfortable and homely property, particularly the beds, we all slept very well. There is also a beautiful enclosed garden on different layers with a secluded spot at the top where you can sit and enjoy the view in the evening sun. The location is good for visiting a variety of places and we enjoyed Laugharne, Tenby, Cardigan, Gwbert and Tresaith Beach and waterfall, all within around 35 minutes travel by car from the cottage. We would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

The steep driveway and narrow lanes we walked a lot so coming back driveway was a struggle for the elder ones in the group could probably have done with a handrail along driveway wall but nothing really negative great property all round

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

It was a beautiful house and with all the amenities anyone could ask for. It really felt as if we were staying in someone's home. Everything you could think of was in the ktichen. It made it very nice to be able to cook home meals there. The view is spectacular from the sun deck and the local town of Laugharne was super friendly. We loved it. highly recommend.

The property was stunning, beautiful views from every window. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great, with shops, restaurants/bars very close to the property. We drove out to Tenby which was only 30mins away, but the beach at pendine sands was only a 10min drive Laugharne castle was great and you can see it from the property, plenty of walking routes in the area. Lastly the hot tub was a great touch! 100% recommend.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

What a wonderful, peaceful experience we have had staying here at Old Oak Barn, the cottage is beautiful, picturesque walking grounds surround the barn. Look out for the little surprises! We had a lovely stay at this property in the quiet village of Llansteffan. Our hosts were helpful and communicative. House was spotless and tidy, plenty of cooking equipment etc and a very short distance from the estuary and castle walks.

A 30th birthday trip of dreams!
The Great House in Laugharne was everything and more. Check in was super easy with a key/lockbox.
The heated pool was incredible, when we first arrived we all ran around looking at ALL the incredible bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces.
We felt so bougie and smiled, laughed, played games, ate, drank the whole weekend it was perfect.
The Ferryman Delicatessen is a stones throw away from the house and has a wonderful selection of delicious food we visited a few times!
Wouldn’t change a thing, amazing stay, I’d love to go back.

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

The Cottage was the perfect family house for the 12 of us ranging from 10 to 75 years. We loved the amazing views from the sun room and garden. It was an ideal location to base ourselves with beautiful beaches, walks and lots of things to do close by. The house was clean and very well kept, Great Welsh Escapes were responsive and quick to reply to any questions and kept in touch through out the stay. We had a fabulous Family Holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had such a warm friendly welcome from Paula and loved meeting her two dogs! The cottage was so homey and comfortable for our winter stay. Paula recommended we walk over to the old church ruin by the sheep field which was excellent, amazing to be near such history! Plus we got to see the sweet surprise lambs. Highly recommend this cottage!

Bnb was lovely, travelled with a group of ten and fit us all comfortably. The kitchen was full of utensils, the bedrooms where very comfortable and clean with a tv in almost every rooms, the master bedroom en-suite is fabulous. Would definitely recommend for a big group of people for a peaceful getaway.

Fabulous time had by all. A couple of early niggles were quickly and efficiently sorted out. Beautiful property and the weather has been sunny and hot all week.

This cottage is in such a beautiful location, it’s a real treat.

Beautiful historic house in a peaceful location with amenities in easy reach. The swimming pool is small but great for cooling off and the evening sun on the terrace made it feel quite Mediterranean. Huge rooms and lots of space, we hardly used a couple of the rooms at all. The top floor is great for kids or a family with children as it’s quite open plan. Would highly recommend it for a large family group.

We had an absolutely amazing couple of days, the house was spotless and had everything we needed, the grounds are gorgeous and the views were breathtaking, it was so peaceful. We sat watching the sunset from the hot tub to the sound of cows lol it was amazing, we can’t wait to book again! Die Wohnung liegt zentral. Der Ausblick ist phänomenal. Die Küche ist spartanisch ausgestattet. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung etwas leer. Man hat das Gefühl das das was nicht da ist auch nicht gestohlen werden kann. Fernseher ist allerdings perfekt. Internet gut.

Our second time at a Great Welsh Escape’s property. Had a lovely time in a beautiful recently refurbished barn.

Our dog also loved the enclosed garden that wrapped around the property.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!
We loved:

- The fluffy white towels
- The cleanliness

- The board games for the kids
There is loads to do in the area, we were here for a week and went to:
- Folly Farm
- Local beaches which are all fabulous, especially Llansteffan with the fish & chips
- The National Bird of Prey Centre
- Pembrey Country Park
- Gwili Steam Railway
- Tenby
I highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place, really well located, and the hosts Hazel and High are so nice and have such a great attention to detail.

Many, many thanks to Hazel and Hugh for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. We genuinely couldn't have asked for me - thank you for sharing your beautiful corner of the world with us.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

It was well equipped with all the necessities, and when we did have a request it was dealt with promptly. It was single level and had a great laundry room.

the only criticism is there was inadequate storage for the suitcases in the bedroom.

The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was amazing and fully furnished which was great for families to get together. The house was very secluded and private but you need a car as nothing really walking distance that is open in February.

The most beautiful place we've stayed inside and out. The photos don't do it justice! For us, it was perfectly located - away from the summer holiday chaos but 10-15 minutes from so many attractions (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Heatherton, Bluestone, Manor Park ...). The house itself is stunning as well as being clean and homely. We socialised mainly in the kitchen as the dining area was perfect for the kids to run outside. All the beds were super comfortable and the 3 main bedrooms were massive. The room with the bunkbeds is also a lot bigger than it looks in the photos! We'd love to go back to Middlelands!

What a lovely house. The living room was very spacious, light and airy thanks to the double aspect windows and huge front window with view over the local area.
There was so much space, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Very quiet and close enough to the town to walk.

A great location - as with every small town, parking can be an issue - we were out of season so local car park was ok.
Beware of the coastal path to Saundersfoot if it has been raining for a few months (we stayed in March) as it is really no longer a path, more of a water and mud assault course :-)
Tenby is Tenby - a fishing/seaside town town that seems to be able to hold its own well - enough locally to keep most folk happy - and locals seemed genuinely friendly

Clean, spacious and beautiful location. We would recommend anyone visiting the area. It’s a good base to explore Pembrokeshire Coast.

Beautiful apartment on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the sea. Cosy vibe and great Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of good quality utensils and a dish washer. Heating is very good. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Enormous house with very private garden and lovely pool. Close to pubs/restaurants and beautiful walks right out of the front door. I’ve never had a bathroom like it. Great for family holidays and plenty of activities nearby. We will definitely return.

We had a lovely family weekend at The Cors. The house was wonderful and everyone was very happy with their rooms and the communal spaces. This made for a very enjoyable time. The grounds were beautiful and wandering around was very peaceful. We used Laugharne as a base for exploring old haunts in West Wales but also spent some time revisiting the local area. Had a great Sunday lunch at Dexters, just a brief walk away. All in all a superb weekend.

The cottage is recently built but in keeping with the period cottages and houses of King Street, Laugharne. Beautiful peaceful area with good shops and pubs and restaurants. Even has its own castle. Plenty to see; TV series "Keeping Faith" was filmed there and writer/poet Dylan Thomas lived there.

What a beautiful cottage, in gorgeous surroundings. The cottage itself is exactly like the photos - spotless clean and so comfortable & cosy. Everything you might need is available in the kitchen and throughtout the property. The cottage is in a remote area, on a farm, so is extremely peaceful and relaxed. Paula, the owner of the property lives close by and is a lady! She gave great recommendations of places to visit. Overall a lovely trip away from home.

Fantastic… just fantastic. Lovely quiet location with amazing views of countryside. The property is amazing, very spacious and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Lovely hosts who popped by to say hi and recommend a local beach. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great place. Very clean. Felt at home. Only issue was that for a 3 bedroom home it only had 1 bathroom, albeit a very nice bathroom. Hosts were very responsive and answered questions quickly. I'd recommend this place again.

The views of the harbour from the bay window are absolutely stunning and there is plenty going on in the sea to keep you entertained. We only wish we'd thought to bring binoculars! The apartment is very comfortable with great beds and both a shower and bath and the location is close to all amenities. There is a large lift. In the summer you can only drop off luggage after 5.30 pm due to traffic restrictions.

Cannot say how great this place is. Probably the best beach in Great Britain over the road. Flat spotless. Has everything you could ever want.

A lovely house, with fantastic gardens. Perfect place to stay and relax for a week with three generations of our family getting together. Minutes walk into town, plenty to do in the area and it’s such a nice place to stay you’ll be happy just staying in, even when it’s raining. If anything, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos - though we were also lucky with the sunshine.

We had a great time. A lot of internal space, well equipped kitchen, a great den/TV room which was very popular with our teenagers and spacious bedrooms. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating options to catch the sun during the day. A private setting and very peaceful.
Just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs, Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. A short drive to the vast Pendine beach. EV charger was very convenient - not many public options in the area.
Would definitely stay there again.

Was lovely accommodation, was very disappointed with the driveway in, wasn’t made aware that was off road, seems to have damaged my car.

So warm and cosy and a total home from home experience! We made use of the board games Charlotte left out and went for walks in the private woodlands. The younger children loved the swings, the fairy doorway and the mud kitchen! Charlotte had left a beautiful tree and other Christmas decorations. We loved the big open living space which was ideal for having family visiting. They also loved the barn! We very much hope to return next year.

Very Beautiful home located right next the beach! Friendly locals and home was perfectly spacious and accommodating for our family of 8 and our pet.
Interior aesthetic was stunning also, the home has clearly been thoughtfully designed- the kitchen being a particular family favourite!
Communication was swift and Check in likewise. I have recommended this home to family and friends and would more than happily stay at Llas Y Mor again.

We had a greta time here. The castle is viewable from the window and the location is great. Pendine Sands is a great little beach!

A wonderful house in a great location.

We always love coming to Lloret and our dogs make good use of all the nearby beaches. The hot tub is well maintained and it’s a joy to use it. It’s a great base to reach Pembrokeshire and Laugharne is a little gem

Beautiful house and gardens, with fabulous views. The house has everything you need and there is everything you could need in the kitchen to cook with and clean up. We even did a roast dinner! The hot tub was lovely and clean. House was spotless. Good quality beds, bedding, towels etc. The host was very responsive to questions and even accommodated an early check-in to allow for a Tesco delivery. Highly recommend this place.

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay! It was in a great location for exploring the local area. There is so much to see and do. We had a great break!
We had plenty of space and the accomodation has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The shower and bath were brilliant and the beds were very comfy!
Loved waking up to the horses in the field in the morning.
We appreciated the milk in the fridge!
We also had a delicious meal at the hotel right next door which was super convenient with 3 children!

Fantastic cottage in peaceful and beautiful village. We enjoyed our stay here and the neighborhood. Great place and value for money. We loved it.

Beautiful bungalow with hot tub. We felt like at home. Everything is there what you really need. There is big bungalow with lots of rooms to explore and outside just straight the hot tub and shed with playroom. Lots things to do around and visit places and restaurants. We got welcome basket with sweets and wine plus welcome and thank you card which was very nice cute and nice to see. For us was everything perfect really and in the future we plan back here. But only one thing was too much for us that in every room and even living room and kitchen there been air refreshments in plugs working all day and night which can be sometimes over powerful specially if you want cook food and the perfumes fragrance from is mixing with your cooking smell. Otherwise everything was nice and cosy. Thank you.
