Lovely great big house filled with great stuff, something interesting in every corner!
Ideally located for walking the coast path, visiting the many beaches or nipping down to walk by the estuary with the dogs.
The Village is good too with many pubs and restaurants and useful store.
We really enjoyed the pool and deck and the sunny terrace.
The dining room is very special.

What a wonderful place for a getaway. Michelle was so helpful and a lovely introduction to Round Park. The village centre is literally 5 mins walk down the lane. Would highly recommend.

Superb accommodation and location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, you pay a little more for this type of accommodation, but it really is worth it. My children, normally very fussy, adored their bedrooms and the whole house, which is full of character. Ideally placed within the village, and whilst there is no parking with the property, we never had a problem finding a parking space within a few footsteps, even in the school holidays. Pubs and restaurants are within a stone throw, and all are excellent. It's a very relaxing village, with beautiful walks, and superb beaches within easy travelling distance. We love the area, and will be back.

A magical few days on this working farm. Our daughter loved seeing the lambs and we enjoyed fresh milk from the cows. The views across the river were breathtaking and our hosts couldn’t have made us feel more at home. We loved it.

York Lodge is an amazing house which was beautifully presented and in immaculate condition.
Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.

We stayed at The Cors in the middle of winter, but found it ideal for our needs. Clean and quirky; well equipped and spacious.

Loved the hot tub and the bar area. I don’t doubt the extensive and interesting grounds would be superb to sit and stroll in during the summer.

This was an excellent house to stay in. Everything was very comfortable and was exactly like the pictures. We used it as a base to visit plenty of castles and go for walks around Carmarthenshire. As others have mentioned, taller people may hit the light fixture at the corner of the bed. Otherwise though, we would highly recommend it.

Amazing place for a quiet weekend away. Ponds in gardens so you need to keep an eye on young children. We had a great time, plenty to see and do in and around the area.

Perfect for family and friends to gather together and explore the beautiful Welsh beaches and countryside. Every detail in the house has been carefully considered and beautifully curated. We had a lovely stay - in particular we enjoyed the excellent living space/kitchen and outside area. Our baby especially loved playing on the big living room rug.

The surrounding area is amazing and the property is very well located for access to beaches, Tenby, Pembroke, Bosherston, Stackpole etc. The only thing was the proximity to the MOD area, which we were prepared for, but I think they were perhaps doing extra tank and machine gun practice during our stay. It can be a little disconcerting having your evening meal peppered with the sound of tank and machine gun fire. I understand this wouldn’t be a problem during the summer school holidays or weekend though.

We loved going to the different beaches etc. and we also had some lovely meals out - including at the fabulous Paternoster Farm which is only round the corner (must book in advance).

Our trip couldn't have been more perfect – the town is lovely and the location of the cottage perfect for estuary walks and trips to the castle, restaurants and pubs. So many things to do nearby too, we will be back!

Lovely house in a great village. Good local walks and places to eat in easy walking distance.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

The Cors Country House exceeded all my expectations, we had an amazing time, the house and grounds were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.

This is an excellent property, superbly located for all the local facilities and three minutes walk to Browns Hotel with the excellent Dexters Steak House and the simply superb Poons Thai restaurant. The cottage has newly fitted high quality fixtures and fittings and clearly the owners wish to provide a great experience for clients. It is well located and has all the facilities listed although I would point out that whilst the rear garden is certainly secure for pets it is made up of a shale base and a raised bark covered bed that is quite steep.
The communication both with GWE and the owners was excellent with a couple of issues addresses with great speed and efficiency. Thank you.

Peaceful and beautiful.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

The house and gardens are huge and really well equipped. Plenty for everyone of all ages to do and see.
Lots of places to sit in the garden and inside.

Only downsides:
Blinds on the windows do not stop the sunlight streaming in
Garden is not totally enclosed so adventurous dogs cannot be left unattended

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Our family of four with a 3 year old and infant really enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing with a beautiful setting, perfectly walkable to activities, shops, restaurants and the beach. The amenities were just as described and access was easy. We cannot wait to return!

We loved that it was off the beaten track, however only a short distance to restaurants. Lovely and clean, everything was supplied that you needed. Even down to a follow up text after we arrived to make sure everything was ok. Brilliant service, thank you.

From the moment of booking, Great Welsh Escapes looked after our every need! The property blew us away; quite literally with Storm Dennis outside but we were very safe and warm in this luxurious unique stay. Everything has been meticulously thought through to ensure that guest enjoy every second and need not leave if you don’t want to...and why would you! Michele was always on hand if needed and even checked in a few times via text. The whole property was spotless and well loved, we even had a little welcome treat which went down very well! Looking forward to staying again very soon!

Charlotte is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The barn is wonderful and a lovely peaceful place to relax. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended! We’ll look forward to visiting again.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse, which was set in a quiet and beautiful location and within easy reach of most major attractions that we wanted to see (less than 30-45 mins away for pretty much everything). We had the pool to ourselves every time we used it, and it was great to be able to access it basically any time we wanted to. We had one minor issue with the water pressure one day but the hosts were great and fixed it in short order, so no complaints from us. We would definitely stay again next time we go to South Wales - rare find indeed.

What a lovely property! Three double bedrooms, all with en-suites. The house is high-spec with everything supplied that you could wish for. I heartily recommend if you are a Dylan Thomas fan or just want to check out the area. Response to issues was also super-quick.

A truly unique property in a superb setting!

A great house for a small family celebration with rooms that lend themselves to all manner of occasion! The bar room was a hit for our cocktail and karaoke evening, the large dining room perfect for large family meals and the cinema room was just perfect for a lazy Sunday after a walk around the boathouse and a stop at the local pub!

All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and made for a cosy nights sleep!

Would highly recommend for families or groups looking to reconnect after a particularly tricky year!

It provides a good base for a relaxing stay . It is easy to explore other areas of Pembrokeshire from here.

Really comfortable, clean apartment with great views. Everything we needed was provided.

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Initially awkward to find, the parking space was very narrow, toilet roll holder in awkward position.

The house was beautiful, so cosy and felt like home instantly.
The scenery was insane, we were always in the hot tub admiring views (now we understand why it is where it is located!)
They had everything you need in the house, we never ate out and was there a week.
Our kids and their friends who joined us loved the place.
It is a 20 minute drive to a local shop and further to a supermarket so would recommend a food delivery so you can kick back and enjoy when you are there.
We loved it and didn’t want to come home.

This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

Beautiful house with a very high level of comfort and well equipped with everything needed. Excellent location. Unfortunately the Covid situation means that some businesses are not fully open or open at all at the moment but those that were, were very friendly. Great to see that the preventative measures are being taken very seriously both in Laugharne and West Wales generally.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.

The pictures don't do it justice...we were in town for the laugharne festival... watching the light change on the sea and the tides come and go was very peaceful between gigs.
It was a breeze on the bus from Carmarthen train station...lots of lovely walks and places to eat on the doorstep.

We have visited Laugharne several times over the last eight years, and this years stay was definitely enhanced by our stay at Gwalia House. A stunning property with a boutique hotel feel. Couldn’t fault anything. My family & I just loved it! Already looking forward to a repeat in 2021!

Very Beautiful home located right next the beach! Friendly locals and home was perfectly spacious and accommodating for our family of 8 and our pet.
Interior aesthetic was stunning also, the home has clearly been thoughtfully designed- the kitchen being a particular family favourite!

We spent xmas at The Great house and it was magical. Great welsh escapes went above and beyond when helping organise our stay and once we arrived and during. We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

An absolutely fantastic, well thought out home that caters for all your needs. Every room has been so carefully crafted, providing all you could possibly need, exactly where you need it. The bedrooms with en-suite were spacious, including a huge master bedroom with a huge en-suite, very impressive. The kitchen was a joy to work in with so much utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, pots and pans galore. Outside was a large hot tub where you could relax and enjoy the splendid scenery, boats, water, a castle, quite incredible. Worth every penny and more.

A beautiful and stylish property. The rooms are spacious with good quality furniture. The window at the front is huge and provides a wonderful view over Laugharne. Good sized oven and hob as well as large fridge . Separate freezer on the utility with washing and drying facilities.
The property was sparkling clean and we appreciated the nice toiletries and welcome tea, coffee etc.
No hesitation in recommending - we all had a wonderful Easter stay.

A lovely and cosy air bnb, we loved every second of our stay there. The bed was very comfortable, the record player was a great touch, the bathroom and kitchen had everything that we need and more, and the fire place set a lovely mood for the evening. Overall an amazing stay, would definitely recommend and we’d definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had such a warm friendly welcome from Paula and loved meeting her two dogs! The cottage was so homey and comfortable for our winter stay. Paula recommended we walk over to the old church ruin by the sheep field which was excellent, amazing to be near such history! Plus we got to see the sweet surprise lambs. Highly recommend this cottage!

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

A truly beautiful place in a very peaceful spot. You do need a car to get about and there are lovely villages and beaches to visit. The house is perfect even if the weather is so bad, it is a perfect place to relax.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Everything was really lovely & felt just like home from home.we really didn't want to leave.

We soon settled in & felt very relaxed the whole time. The beds were very comfy & all slept very well. The bathroom/ensuite were lovely & showers excellent. We never got bored of looking at the view. The location was perfect to walk into Tenby centre.

We had a bad experience staying at another Airbnb so we panicked and found this to be available (luckily) at short notice for the last 3 nights of our house hunting holiday. The cottage had only just been listed and it turns out we were the first guests ever. Everything brand spanking new. Amazing shower. DISHWASHER! TBH I’d give anywhere 8/10 just for this. Super helpful hosts. Lovely village. Sooo friendly. Everyone we met. Big shoutout for the deli next door - outstanding food and a treasure trove of scoffable luxuries. Oh yes, and great wine

We had a lovely weekend in Saundersfoot, and found the property within walking distance of everything we wanted, though the hill was a bit tough but good for us!
The house was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The beds were especially comfortable, I slept so well!

Comfortable, modern beach feel, with everything you need and close to so many beautiful beaches and castles. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic few days in Pendine. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with lots of nice touches. Views were unbelievable, only a 10-15 min walk to the huge but quiet beach. It had lots of nice restaurants like Lotus and a fantastic park for our son. Was his first visit to the beach and one we will remember for a long time. We hope to come back.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.

Very well equipped and homely accommodation and immaculately clean. Rural spot for being in a town so private and quiet idea for families and local coastal towns sych as Tenby, Pendine, Saundersfoot & Laugharne are a stone's throw away. Very enjoyable. My only very slight grumble (but I can't complain as it is as advertised) is that there is only one bathroom/loo for 8 guests but it was not a problem..we were 2 families including 4 children of varying ages....that said we'd definitely return and would highly recommend it for acquiet base for exploring the area.

We had a lovely stay at this house. We went with our 4 teenagers and it was enjoyed by all. The house is in a lovely small quiet village with lovely walks on your doorstep and some great places to eat . Teenagers also enjoyed the pubs. Great location for day trips to explore South Wales.

Such a great weekend. House was clean and comfortable with beautiful features and furnishings. Not to mention great artwork throughout. Location was idilic and had everything we needed for the perfect break away. Host was polite, friendly and communicative. Would certainly stay again and have already made plans to come back to the area.

Abso gem! Having whole hotel to yourself With family and friends with bar, pool room and industrial kitchen. Been a brilliant week in a fantastic and unique holiday home!!

We all had such a lovely time we truly didn't want to leave & could have happily stayed for a few more days. We will recommend it to friends & family, it felt just like home from home.

Lovely little house, beautifully decorated and equipped and everything was good quality. Log burner was wonderful to come home to after long windy walks in the beautiful local area.

Everything, the bungalow had the 'Wow' factor in every way Hazel was very welcoming, the views were amazing, it is a real home from home was nice to just chill or explore if you wanted to will definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place itself was beautiful, it was so family friendly which was perfect for us and our little one, the host went above and beyond in ensuring there was everything you could require.

The Cors is a very special place. it is beautiful inside and out. We can only imagine just how fantastic the gardens would be in summer. The rooms are generous and social, while still allowing space to read and potter. The house was very clean, with lots of little extra touches to make our stay even better. walks along the estuary were stunning. The village has a couple of shops and pubs and on our last night we had a fantastic thai meal delivered from Poony who is aboutoto open a premises on the Grist. Just lovely!!

Location was great and place was comfortable. We had a problem on one night with the shower and by the morning it was fixed so really good service.
Fresher towels as they were quite worn. The main bed was a bit hard.

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely large bedroom and bathroom, lounge smaller than expected but cosy and comfortable. Double glazing kept the room quiet. Lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautifully appointed & comfortable apartment, the hosts had thought of everything! The views across the bay are great and access to the cost path is just across the road. Parking space & key access easy to find/ use.

Not a criticism of the property, but worth noting that the walk back from the town/ beach involves coming up a steep hill

A stunning house in a stunning location- what is there not to love?! We had a fantastic time at the Cors - the house is beautiful, a real mix of old-fashioned charm and modern elegance, perfect for a weekend away.

Jac was extremely helpful before, during and after our visit - I can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!

Stayed at this property for a week - amazing location with lots to do and to see around. The description and pictures are accurate, I could even say reality exceeds expectations. You can find all you may need in the house - kitchen is well equipped, plenty of board games to play and movies you can watch if/when tired to explore outside.
Internet connection not the best, but this was a big plus - you can detox from all social media, news etc. - and you can enjoy yourself and have a great rest.
Communication with the host was great, they are very responsive, we sent some comments/suggestions to the host how to make this place even better.

Our stay in Laugharne was fantastic - the flat was excellent, right in the middle of town, and exactly as described. And I heartily recommend The Ferrymans deli just a few doors down

The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed in order to have a lovely time! The host was extremely welcoming and recommended some amazing restaurants and places to go. The place was in a great location just a short drive to the beach and a little walk to local pubs and restaurants. Definitely would recommend this place to others!:)

Beautiful location with stunning views! The house is lovely and very well equipped. We are a family with 3 children and it was a perfect holiday home for us and our dog. Great location to explore the local area and visit some stunning beaches. We will definitely be back!

Best service I’ve ever received from a weekend rental, property was clean and well kitted out.

Jess was very responsive and helpful. Our son got very high fever on the last day and Emily was very kind to extend our check out by a whole hour. The house in itself is gorgeous and extremely clean just as the pictures. However, in regards to the location of the house, it’s not close to either the beach or the castle unlike the impression we got from the pictures posted. It’s in the middle of a farm residential area. Our son quite enjoyed waking up to the mooing of cows but the stench of the cow manure does waft through the house if you open the doors and the windows. All in all, we did enjoy our stay at the house immensely.

Stayed at the Cors Country House for a weekend with my family. The people at Great Welsh Escapes were really helpful in booking the house and recommending activities for us to do over the weekend. I'd happily recommend these guys to anyone else and would use them again in the future. Thanks!

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

The staff at Great Welsh Escapes were excellent. Good communication from booking until check out. They even provided links to find info on appliance use, places to visit and eat, ect.

Fantastic place to stay, an absolute home from home. So peaceful. The couple who own it were more than helpful.

Beautiful bungalow, decorated and furnished to high standard. Cosy kitchen/, diner lounge area. China crockery. Lots of kitchen equipment, washing machine, ironing board, beautiful fluffy white towels. Walk in im wet/shower area. Hot tub putdoor seating area.

Location, need a car, 4/5 mile drive to most areas, shopping, pubs its very rural

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

The cottage was as expected really cosy, clean and well equipped. Ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

Superb location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, castle and walks by the estuary. Outstanding garden, perfect for a peaceful morning coffee and spacious enough for badminton and hide and seek! Lots to do indoors for a multi-generational family. Living the dream!

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. The cottage was exactly as described and well equipped. The parking is challenging though! We highly recommend Dexters at Brown's for Sunday lunch, but you must book as it is very popular. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and it is a short stroll to Dylan Thomas's Boathouse and the Castle.

We had the best stay at Wildhaven. It is totally private with a great enclosed garden. The walks from the doorstep were stunning, you could spend a week there and not have to go out in the car! We loved seeing the sheep on the hills, as well as the birds of prey and hares. The cottage is incredibly comfortable and clean, we really didn’t want to leave! It’s a great place to stay whether you’re alone, a couple, a family or with your dog. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday!

Amazing and beautiful grand old house... renovated to a very high standard with fabulous bathrooms and beautiful furniture, ornaments and paintings throughout. The village of Laugharne is lovely, with lots of Interesting shops, an estuary to explore and an old castle.

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Very tasteful and modern. Everything catered for - just fab! Communication with the owners was prompt and check in/out easy. Path directly opposite leads to Glen Beach ( a small sandy cove just off the main beach). The walk into Saundersfoot is about 10 mins down bank into the shops/harbour//main beach. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely walks to Amroth and Tenby and then further afield to Manobier and Stackpole Quay/Boshteron Lily Ponds. If you are thinking of staying in Saundersfoot then stay here - you won't regret it.
