We have just arrived home after a fabulous stay at Round Park. The house was so much more spacious than expected and was a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful clean beaches and pretty towns and villages. There was a lovely welcome gift of wine , tea & stoopwaffles. Everything was catered for with cooking equipment including brand new airfryers. The beds were clean & comfortable.Would definitely recommend & use again in the future.

Many, many thanks to Hazel and Hugh for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. We genuinely couldn't have asked for me - thank you for sharing your beautiful corner of the world with us.

The property was stunning, beautiful views from every window. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great, with shops, restaurants/bars very close to the property. We drove out to Tenby which was only 30mins away, but the beach at pendine sands was only a 10min drive Laugharne castle was great and you can see it from the property, plenty of walking routes in the area. Lastly the hot tub was a great touch! 100% recommend.

Was a very cosy place to stay. Our dog was a small dog and managed to get under the fence in the garden but within an hour the owners had fixed all of the fence so we were able to let our dog out. That was brilliant that they were so on it and attentive to our needs. We were left to our own plans, but we knew they were there and available should we need them. Had a lovely view and was so quiet and peaceful.

We, a family of four and a dog had a wonderful time at Brofallen. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything that you could possibly need. It was in such a relaxing quiet spot with amazing views. You do need a car to appreciate the places all around, but there are lots of scenic places to visit that are good for kids and dogs. It was a lovely holiday had by all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely cottage in Laugharne. The cottage is spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. We never tired of the view across to the castle. Laugharne is a peaceful village with a fascinating history. There is a selection of cafes and pubs and a convenience store close to the cottage. There are some lovely walks from the doorstep and lots to do a little further afield if you have a car to explore Tenby and beyond.

Location can’t get any better! Such a wonderful place. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely bungalow. It was so welcoming when we arrived and we enjoyed the gifts that where left for us.
It had everything we needed and more and can't recommend this place enough. So spacious yet cosy and the hot tub was a real treat.
Hazel and Hugh were very welcoming and came to check we had settled in ok. We really had the best time and look forward to another trip there again sometime.

The views of the harbour from the bay window are absolutely stunning and there is plenty going on in the sea to keep you entertained. We only wish we'd thought to bring binoculars! The apartment is very comfortable with great beds and both a shower and bath and the location is close to all amenities. There is a large lift. In the summer you can only drop off luggage after 5.30 pm due to traffic restrictions.

Great place to stay and would very highly recommend it - lots of little touches to make you feel at home and welcome you in. Very very quiet and peaceful. Lovely to take time out and a great place to explore Carmarthenshire. Remember this is a working farm so cattle wandering down the track behind the cottage is a lovely sight to see, maybe not so nice on the nose occasionally but it really didnt bother us.

Stayed at Awel Taf, lovely property, nice and spacious, a good base for visiting local beaches.

We stayed as a party of 9. There was plenty of room for everyone & we enjoyed a fantastic New Years Eve party. The town of Laugharne is lovely, with a few pubs & shops, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Brofallen is a gorgeous place to hang out with friends and family. The view from the sun room is worth spending a few hours looking at. The house is well stocked, well decorated and very comfortable to be in.

We booked this house for my partners parents and they were amazed by the views and how gorgeous the house was! They want to book it every time they come and visit.

Lovely apartment, clean, quiet location with a parking space. A short walk down into Saundersfoot 5-10 minutes down a steep hill which was fine for us.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

Wonderful, relaxing stay and the house had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable with lovely quality linen. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful garden amongst the amazing plants. Would love to visit again. Jac is an excellent host, proactive and really helpful with lots of information in the guide. We enjoyed our stay so much we added an extra night. I’m sure we will be back.

Our stay at The Old School House in Carmarthenshire was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with underfloor heating and a boiling water tap, was impressive, and we were greeted with a lovely hamper.
The living room had a cosy sofa facing an 83-inch OLED TV with a great sound system. Every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suites was finished to the highest standard.
The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day, and it was here my partner proposed—I’m happy to say, I said yes!
The house is easy to find, with ultra-fast gigabit broadband and immaculate cleanliness.
We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Very comfortable property in a great location to enjoy all the amenities of Laugharne and explore both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
Spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

We needed a retreat for a family get together before returning to work and university. Laugharne was a perfect location and Fernhill House was the perfect home. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you.

Property was ideal for our few days stay. Very clean, comfortable beds and lounge, large dining kitchen with nice garden area at the rear. Very central for the Castle, estuary and restaurants. Lots of choice of eateries and good quality too. Parking at the property was a challenge as it was on one side of street which was busy, so had to park in the square - a 5 min walk away but free. Made it a bit tense when arriving and departing for loading/unloading car. Laugharne is definitely worth a visit, the views over the estuary are beautiful.

Great cottage with everything you need for a great time amazing for the value of money and great comfort just like being at home but better loved every part of the holiday and lovely owners greeting us as soon as we got there and checking to make sure we had everything we needed 😁

The cottage is very cosy. Living room is cosy with a large fireplace but plenty of space. The sofas are a bit tired but not a problem.
We travelled during a 30°+ heat wave and the living room was very cool due to the stone walls which made it a very welcome place to be!
The garden is lovely and full of secret paths for the kids but be warned, there is a pond exposed, so no good for toddlers.
The area is fantastic with Pembrokeshire coast and loads of things for the kids.
Only gripe is that there is no parking by the cottage other than a layby. There is a car park 150 yards up the road however which allows you to see some incredible scenery of the area, so absolutely this is not a negative overall.
Worth mentioning that there is no TV signal or mobile coverage although there was broadband and WiFi available.

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.

Rustic little cottage in a very rural location. Ideal for exploring West Wales. It had all the amenities described and we had a lovely few days with our two young children.

When you arrive at The Cors Country House you are met with the absolute "wow" factor. Just entering the porperty and driving down the long beautiful private driveway is in itself breathtaking. Then when you get inside and see the beautiful rooms and the stunning views from the bedrooms of the well kept gardens you cant help but feel like youre somewhere special. It was my mums 70th birthday getaway for our family and was everything we wanted and more. We all had such an amazing time, the bedrooms were just gorgeous and the children loved the attick room. Great family lounge area where we could all sit down and talk and play games. I cannot say enough good things!

The scenery was insane, we were always in the hot tub admiring views (now we understand why it is where it is located!)

It is a 20 minute drive to a local shop and further to a supermarket so would recommend a food delivery so you can kick back and enjoy when you are there.

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

Graham and Mona the hosts were really welcoming and super helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after without being intrusive. This was much appreciated. Thank you.

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

The pictures don’t do it justice, perfect location so peaceful we slept like logs. House was brilliant and clean, hot tub amazing. Hanna was the perfect host and helped us with anything we needed and was understanding when a few things happened (our toddler may have taken a remote back home with us🤦‍♀️) can’t recommend this place enough! Beautiful house in a lovely location. The house was clean, very nicely decorated and presented and was very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The owners even kindly left a birthday cake and balloon for my Dad’s 80th, along with a welcome pack of essentials. My wife and I spend a very peaceful week here for a much-needed getaway. We loved the gothic features of this converted school house; it was unique and extremely comfortable. There is a beautifully appointed kitchen and we found everything we needed as we self-catered for at least half the time. For the two of us, the conservatory space was perfect for meals, and the comfy sofas in the lounge area were a delight. We had great weather, mostly, but even on the odd chilly days, the heating and hot water worked splendidly. We also appreciated the well-stocked library and little touches like tea and fresh ground coffee. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would love to stay at this special place again!

A warm and friendly welcome set us on track for a lovely time at Oysterlow Cottage. We were very comfortable and enjoyed really stay. It was a working farm, but the owners were not too busy to chat and help us to enjoy our break. The cottage was well presented and equipped. Lovely and clean.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Great House. The rooms are as magnificent as the photos suggest. I'd highly recommend staying here if you are after a slice of grandeur.

A fabulous house. Lovely views over countryside in the back garden. The location is excellent you can get everywhere in the area very easily. We were family of 6 and everything worked so well. The weather was on our side and the beaches and facilities were amazing. Coppett Hall our favourite beach. Would book again.

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

Peaceful and beautiful.

The boathouse is a lovely little escape with complete peace, along with being close to local towns and beaches. The place is as described and as you see in the photos. The private pool and sauna is such a nice addition too, which our son loved. Our dogs were so excited by the lake and cows, and wanted to always been outside in the enclosed area.
Great Welsh Escapes sent through clear instructions before hand, and proactively messaged me on day 1 to ensure I had everything I needed. This was a nice touch!
Richard, the owner and farmer, was super welcoming and made an effort to come out when we arrived to show us around personally. When we had a small issue I text Richard and he walked down almost immediately to help. He also spent a little while answering all my silly questions about dairy farming and his cows!!
We certainly plan to go back in the future and stay again :)

This is a lovely cottage, remote and surrounded by amazing scenery, with fantastic walks straight from your doorstep, including the Beacons Way, which you can take to very romantic nearby castle ruins. Perfect for those who are looking for a peaceful retreat. We did several fantastic hikes and didn't use our car throughout the week (make sure you get your groceries delivered or come well-prepared). Our dog loved it, and we all had a wonderful time. The cottage is well-equipped and nicely decorated, with a great bathroom and wonderful views from the living room. Excellent sound system made for great movie nights, star gazing (if weather allows) is superb. Can highly recommend if you are looking for a few days away from it all.

A beautiful and well equipped house perfect for relaxing family stays perfectly located and close to great restaurants, walks and all the amenities you'd need. The views are incredible. You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

A picturesque guest house at the end of the street with everything you need. The associated farm is very quiet and the hostess extremely polite. She has a good sense of aesthetic design and has created beautiful flower beds.

Nothing, all fab

This is a beautiful place to stay. The view across the Village to Laugharne Castle and the estuary is breath taking.
The bungalow was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was well used during the week.
The tea, coffee, waffles and prosecco on arrival were a lovely surprise and most welcome.
The location is ideal as a base to visit a number of costal resorts such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Even St David's is only an hour away. I would highly recommend a stay here.

It was a beautiful house and with all the amenities anyone could ask for. It really felt as if we were staying in someone's home. Everything you could think of was in the ktichen. It made it very nice to be able to cook home meals there. The view is spectacular from the sun deck and the local town of Laugharne was super friendly. We loved it. highly recommend.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac and Great Welsh Escapes for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! Everything about this property is brilliant, I miss it already!

A great house, approachable host and a fantastic location! We had a wonderful time.

What a lovely house. The living room was very spacious, light and airy thanks to the double aspect windows and huge front window with view over the local area.
There was so much space, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Very quiet and close enough to the town to walk.

We had our employees stay here a few weeks ago, the accommodation was fantastic and exceptionally clean. Their needs were well catered for and we would have no issue in recommending and booking this accommodation again in the future, thank you for a fantastic stay, from Immy and the Euro Team :-)

AMAZING! The bungalow had everything we needed and more! Views were beautiful from every window, we could have sat for hours just looking! The bungalow was spotlessly clean. beds really comfortable, nice, much appreciated welcoming gifts and the hot tub was great to relaxing in the evening. we found all the neighbours really friendly and all had time to chat and tell us places to visit. would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. The cottage is beautifully situated with fantastic views of the area. Paula was a great host - very friendly and giving helpful tips and advice for exploring the local area, and her two dogs Lulu and Bob were also very gentle and friendly, and great play mates for our two children. The cottage itself was great. Very clean and well arranged, so that we (a family of four) quickly felt at home. The location is well placed to explore the local area and has some great treasures close by. Would highly recommend and we will definitely come back if we visit the area again.

We are a family of 5 and the house was definitely spacious enough for us. The views are breathtaking and the area is just so beautiful. We took time to enjoy the peace and the beautiful stars at night. The castle wonderful to see and the people were so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend.

Our 2nd visit. As we enjoyed it so much the last time. Great views, lovely little village, handy location for both long walks with the dog or shorter walks with the kids. Hot tub was maintained daily. And the whole house was presented really well. Recommended.
