This place was perfect for me and my friend.
It was perfectly clean.. simple and equipped well enough to cook and prepare food.
The beds were comfortable and 2 bathrooms . Table and chairs outside for eating when the sunshines.
The restaurant in the attached hotel is a must try.. great food and lovely friendly service.
Short drive to the beach.. but as far as i know.. no pubs/shops to walk to ..but beautiful places for walking..

Wonderful, relaxing stay and the house had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable with lovely quality linen. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful garden amongst the amazing plants. Would love to visit again. Jac is an excellent host, proactive and really helpful with lots of information in the guide. Stayed at Lloret in Laugharne for a mid week break. The property was spotlessly clean with great views over Castle and estuary. Hot tub was a real bonus. Faultless service from all at Great Welsh Escapes - helpful texts and information. Would definitely stay with them again. Thanks!

Can not say enough about how amazing this stay was! From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and right at home. Hazel was very welcoming and made sure we were ok and had everything we needed. She also gave some great recommendations on where to go to eat and and explore!
We stayed near valentines and on arrival was a beautiful welcome basket and valentines balloons, along with a valentines teddy! Such a lovely surprise!
The cottage was immaculate and all the little homely touches really made it even more special.
I could go on all day. We have already booked to stay for longer in the summer and along with the children! We can’t wait!

Beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage was really comfortable and beautifully furnished. A real home from home! Laugharne is lovely. We loved Poons Street Food, the castle and the walls around Laugharne.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the welcome hamper in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to the hot tub out the back which we enjoyed.Hazel even popped over after we had checked in to make sure everything was fine for us which was very nice of her,the area was very quiet and peaceful with the lovely views ideal for a relaxing holiday especially with Tenby just 25 minute's drive away we will definitely be booking again next year

Footprints is a well equipped apartment in a good location.
It provides a good base for a relaxing stay . It is easy to explore other areas of Pembrokeshire from here.
There are several pubs /restaurants in walking distance from the apartment.

We stayed as a party of 9. There was plenty of room for everyone & we enjoyed a fantastic New Years Eve party. The town of Laugharne is lovely, with a few pubs & shops, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

Location was great and place was comfortable. We had a problem on one night with the shower and by the morning it was fixed so really good service.
Fresher towels as they were quite worn. The main bed was a bit hard.

Having just returned home from a 3 night stay at Footprints apartment in Saundersfoot, we would highly recommend this to anyone. It was 5 star rating, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to the town and harbour. We are looking forward to staying there again in the foreseeable future.

A beautiful cottage, with some lovely welcoming touches. Very peaceful and we all slept really well. My children loved watching the wildlife in the lake and playing in the swimming pool. Close to all the places we wanted to visit. Thank you!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Cors Country House. Brilliant location within easy walking distance of all Laugharne has to offer.
Michelle met us at the house and gave a full tour, making us feel welcome and at home.
We were a party of 3 couples so it was great to have 3 large double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised to find a Sonos speaker system and Sky TV in every room.
The garden and outside spaces were impressive and we enjoyed wandering around the grounds.

Stayed at Gwalia House with a group of friends. Fantastic place, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is ideally situated, just a short stroll from the castle and the centre of town. Will definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you could need. We were the first guests to stay there and we absolutely loved it. We loved the garden and the horses in the field behind. The bed in the back room is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. We are already looking to book our next two breaks. The welcome pack was a really nice touch as well. Chocolate wine and even treats for the dog it was so kind. Thank you for making our break perfect.

A beautifully laid out cottage in a lovely area of wales. Well situated for the beach or for exploring Carmarthebshire or Pembrokeshire… or just staying in in comfort. Good sized kitchen with all you’d need and a supportive host.

Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

Liked the location, the cleanliness of the property and the property itself. Was like home from home. We were contacted by our hosts throught our stay to ensure everything was ok. Even had a text to wish us a safe journey home......nice touch. The icing on the cake was the beautiful garden in which we were able to enjoy in the warm Welsh sunshine. We sat out on the garden bench to enjoy a cup off coffee after our enjoyable days out to the numerous places of interest in and around Laugharne.

An amazing find - the perfect one bed apartment with lots of space for 1x person or for a couple. Sandersfoot is a beautiful village, smaller than Tenby and cuter with it. The flat is a 7 min walk down to the village and beach which when busy one welcomes the fact the apartment has its own parking. The accommodation felt almost brand new, wanting for nothing - supplying everything you could want. The bed was ever so comfortable with lovely sheets, the bathroom had great water pressure and brilliantly clean, the kitchen had everything you needed and all with a distant see view. It's also ideally located next to the Coastal Path, 13 mins from a tiny isolated beach. Can't recommend more. Thanks!

What a wonderful place for a getaway. Michelle was so helpful and a lovely introduction to Round Park. The village centre is literally 5 mins walk down the lane. Would highly recommend.

Large, clean and private indoor heated pool plus sauna. Very tranquil location overseeing the lake. There are not other guests as there is only one property for holiday makers so it is very private feeling just like a second home. There are everything needed in the house.

Occasional flies in the house and farm smell outside 😄 but no smell in the house.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and the towels and linen were very high quality. The bedroom is a lovely size and the open plan kitchen/lounge is just perfect for a few days’ R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed. The rainfall shower was a wonderful addition.
The cottage is on a main road which was a little noisy at times but only because we’re not used to traffic. There is only a double bed as well which, again, we’re not used to but everything else was just perfect.

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
Hosts are just the best so treat this place with respect.

Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Hanna for offering such a beautiful house! The place is secure, quiet and surrounded be greenery all around which is so pleasing to the eyes! Stylish rustic presentation; thorough and thoughtful amenities; cosy and comfortable courtesy of the fireplaces and furnishings - all trumped by the even more stunning setting and views. With a few trips under our belt, this accommodation outstripped the lot!

Beautiful house and gardens, with fabulous views. The house has everything you need and there is everything you could need in the kitchen to cook with and clean up. We even did a roast dinner! The hot tub was lovely and clean. House was spotless. Good quality beds, bedding, towels etc. The host was very responsive to questions and even accommodated an early check-in to allow for a Tesco delivery. Highly recommend this place.

The property is over 3 floors and offered loads of space for a group of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and we were able to travel by car to a number of local attractions. We will probably book again in the future.

For New Years we stayed at the wonderful Fernhill House Laugharne. Not only was the house spectacular the location was perfect!!! Great Welsh Escapes were brilliant-not only from the first contact but from assisting with the booking and throughout our stay. We've already booked again for next New Years.

A great location - as with every small town, parking can be an issue - we were out of season so local car park was ok.
Beware of the coastal path to Saundersfoot if it has been raining for a few months (we stayed in March) as it is really no longer a path, more of a water and mud assault course :-)
Tenby is Tenby - a fishing/seaside town town that seems to be able to hold its own well - enough locally to keep most folk happy - and locals seemed genuinely friendly

Dressing gowns and towels are provided. Hot tub is large and private. The cottage is very clean and cosy. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing place, so unique. The house is more spacious than we expected and it has a lovely log burner which gives it such a cosy feel. You need a car to get around as there is not much nearby that’s walkable but this wasn’t a problem for us. The cafe around the other side of the house did a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

The Old School House was just perfect for our Christmas away .
The place was spotless , it was decorated for Christmas which was lovely .
It is even better in real life than the pictures and was so much bigger .
My family of 4 and our 2 dogs has plenty of room.
The location of Brook was quiet and peaceful and only 2 & 1/2 miles in either direction to reach the next place .
Laugharne was very pretty and we walked around the castle , we visited Dylan Thomas writing Shed .
The local shop had all we needed .
In the other direction was Pendine and we took the dogs for a run on the beach on Christmas Day .
We would definitley recommend and would love to return .

Great House is a unique and an amazing experience. Having an understanding of such a building the owner has lavished attention to detail beyond expectation. Must be seen to be believed.

A truly unique property in a superb setting!

A great house for a small family celebration with rooms that lend themselves to all manner of occasion! The bar room was a hit for our cocktail and karaoke evening, the large dining room perfect for large family meals and the cinema room was just perfect for a lazy Sunday after a walk around the boathouse and a stop at the local pub!

All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and made for a cosy nights sleep!

Would highly recommend for families or groups looking to reconnect after a particularly tricky year!

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

We had a wonderful holiday, the house was beautiful and the location gorgeous.
We had lots of helpful communication from Great Welsh Escapes and Hanna was super friendly and contacted us to make sure all was ok.

Great stay. plenty of room for the dog on the balcony. bed was very comfortable. everything we needed in the apartment.

What three words is very useful. Walking boots and all weather jackets are good things to keep.
It is recommended to buy things before checking in as Superstore is few miles.

We had such a fantastic trip from start to finish! The garden is amazing and the house is just beautiful - it has a French chateau look to it. All very clean and we felt very welcomed by Michelle on arrival. We would highly recommend.

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in Pendine, the apartment was clean and well kept plus the view over the beach was amazing. Only 15 mins walk to the local amenities and 20min drive to Saundersfoot and 25 mins to Tenby. Would definitely recommend!

Many, many thanks to Hazel and Hugh for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. We genuinely couldn't have asked for me - thank you for sharing your beautiful corner of the world with us.

What a wonderful, peaceful experience we have had staying here at Old Oak Barn, the cottage is beautiful, picturesque walking grounds surround the barn. Look out for the little surprises! Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! The apartment was amazing. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything you needed was provided down to an array of herbs and spices to produce any meal if you wanted. The bed was very comfortable bathroom large and spotlessly clean throughout.

Beautiful, tranquil location and fantastic views. Lovely welcome touches of fire wood and some local treats on arrival. Kitchen really well equipped and a number of books and games available. Would absolutely stay again.

A point of note if staying here with a dog, the garden fence is not secure so let them roam freely with caution - ours got out on a number of occasions.

A spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and comfortable apartment just a short walk away from the sea front. A very relaxing break where everything had been thought of.

The door key to the apartment doesn't fit easily into the lock as it is slightly bent. Checkout at 11am would be much more relaxing than 10am especially as guests are asked to strip the bed and collect up the towels before departure. The sloped low ceilings in the bathroom, dining area and bedroom resulted in a few bumped heads. Scaffolding outside spoiled the view

We chose The Cors as a group of friends with small children to spend our New Years celebrations.
Everything about it was perfect from start to finish!
Ideal location for lovely dog walks (which were even lovely in the rain) a beautiful garden to admire and an immaculate house full to the brim with everything and more than you need!
The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a must to visit!
Jac as a host went above and beyond from start to finish for us, from answering questions before our arrival to going out of his way to replace items whilst we were there!
Cannot recommend this house enough, it’s an ideal family home to enjoy quality time together in an ideal location.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

The most beautiful apartment in our favourite place (Saundersfoot.) From the moment we walked in we knew we would love it, spotlessly clean & beautiful apartment and they really have thought of absolutely everything!!! Great shower and lovely sized bath. Very comfortable bed. Lovely modern kitchen and living room. Absolutely faultless, we loved our stay so much!

There was nothing we did not like about our lovely stay!

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious, clean and tidy. Views from the terrace and the windows across Laugharne to the castle, and of the tidal estuary were incredible.
Everything we needed was provided, and we definitely return to Lloret.

We were a family group of 8 and found the house spacious with a massive garden The front of the house caught the mid-day sun (in February) and there was plenty of seating outside to enjoy it. With small children care was needed with 2 ponds and ditches and a stream, but overall the garden was beautiful. It has been described as a “ bohemian bolt hole “ which is a very good description. The interior was quirky, but also up to the minute with technology.The bedrooms were very comfortable with tv’s and coffee makers and modern on suites. It has a variety of facilities to suit young and old. The games room and bar were well equipped and had a Sonos sound system and the kitchen and dining room were roomy well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

One word - amazing. Is how I would describe this place. Peaceful and beautiful, this place is perfectly located to the west of the national park in the Black Mountains. Which is amazing for long walks great for the dog. The place itself is stunning, clean and well maintained.

Beautiful setting in an ideal environment, just what we were looking for for the 4 nights stay, great escape from busy life, very relaxing few days with families. Thank you for the hosting!

The property was stunning, beautiful views from every window. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great, with shops, restaurants/bars very close to the property. We drove out to Tenby which was only 30mins away, but the beach at pendine sands was only a 10min drive Laugharne castle was great and you can see it from the property, plenty of walking routes in the area. Lastly the hot tub was a great touch! 100% recommend.

The best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The house was incredible, it had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The gardens were beautiful. We had 4 young children and a dog in our party and so had to keep a really close eye on them as the garden wasn’t fully enclosed and had a couple of ponds. This wasn’t a problem for us at all but other guests may be interested to know about this. Jac was a great host, he responded to messages very quickly and gave us lots of tips about the area etc. The location is great, the village is lovely and a short drive to beautiful beaches. We are looking forward to going back!

The most beautiful place we've stayed inside and out. The photos don't do it justice! For us, it was perfectly located - away from the summer holiday chaos but 10-15 minutes from so many attractions (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Heatherton, Bluestone, Manor Park ...). The house itself is stunning as well as being clean and homely. We socialised mainly in the kitchen as the dining area was perfect for the kids to run outside. All the beds were super comfortable and the 3 main bedrooms were massive. The room with the bunkbeds is also a lot bigger than it looks in the photos! We'd love to go back to Middlelands!

Jac was really accommodating and we loved spending our Christmas at the Cors!

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

Lovely weekend away at lloret! Very cosy & clean, will definitely be back again soon.

Just an astonishing house, I think the most beautiful place I've ever stayed - the photos, beautiful as they are, don't quite do it justice. The restoration work on this old Georgian house has to be seen to be believed. Our teenagers loved the pool, the outside area and barbecue are wonderful, the bedrooms are breathtaking and very comfortable. Laugharne is wonderful and very friendly, and there are beautiful walks on your doorstep. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of a modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like it! Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst staying at the property. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my Mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this property is dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! I miss it already!

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

Very spacious for the number of guests. It was a great location for a multi generation family trip. we didn't have great weather but nobody was bored. The house was stunning, the pictures don't do it justice.

Well what can I say about our stay at the bungalow apart from WOW! It’s is definitely modern and it is situated perfectly with beautiful views throughout the whole bungalow.

It has everything you need from comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, spacious kitchen plus of course the large hot tub, you can't help but enjoy yourselves.

It was clean, with plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the hot tub! There was coffee, tea, scones and Prosecco which was a lovely touch.

I would highly recommend.

Fell in love with this house it is so beautiful even though it is so big it feels warm and inviting I loved the cosy room downstairs with panel Windows throwing light into the room I would definitely recommend a visit you will be delighted with this charming house

We enjoyed a lovely week at this beautiful cottage! Plenty of space for kids and dog both inside and outside. It was just a short drive to Freshwater West beach for awesome sand, surfing and rock pools. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday.

The surroundings have so much greenery and are peaceful .
Helpful and welcoming hosts and friendly local people , not to mention the thoughtful welcome pack which was much appreciated.
A great place to use as a base to explore the area and has a good very long beach , the walk down to the beach is very steep so could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues , best to check tides too as it was not possible to walk on the beach if the tide was in but there are places to eat or drink and just gaze at the sea .
Nearby Laugherne and Narberth are lovely friendly bustling places to visit .

Booked for a birthday get away for a group of friends. The property was perfect and Great Welsh Escapes were friendly and helpful in all contact.

A wonderful and beautiful home, with a very cost and relaxing feel. It is great for wanting to get away from the buzz of people with a fantastic beach less than 5 mins away. Very well presented and a great place to stay. Enjoy, we did!!

Very Beautiful home located right next the beach! Friendly locals and home was perfectly spacious and accommodating for our family of 8 and our pet.
Interior aesthetic was stunning also, the home has clearly been thoughtfully designed- the kitchen being a particular family favourite!
Communication was swift and Check in likewise. I have recommended this home to family and friends and would more than happily stay at Llas Y Mor again.

Nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber, schöne und saubere Zimmer mit guter Küchenausstattung. Liegt mitten in der Natur, aber Hauptstrassen innerhalb 10 min Autofahrt erreichbar.

A beautiful cottage right in the centre of Laugharne. Beautifully clean and everything there we needed, including some beautifully fresh bread and butter on arrival, after a 3 hour journey it was most welcome.

We had a pleasant long weekend here. The house is lovely, especially the kitchen and dining room. The beds were also super comfy which was nice. The only minor improvements would be that the sofa needed a good clean and there was a broken chair in the dining room. Other than that, our stay was lovely and we would definitely stay again. Location was great, only being a 10 minute walk down to the beach.

The cottage is beautifully decorated to a very high standard and just perfect for a few days of R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed.
