At the heart of the farmhouse is a fantastic entertaining space laid out as a huge conservatory, with a dining table ideal for long dinners, games nights and laughter into the evening.
The large, well-equipped kitchen features all the modern conveniences alongside a characterful Rayburn, creating a warm and sociable space to cook, ideal for cooking hearty breakfasts before a day of adventure, or rusting up gorgeous evening meals, and there is a further dining space. If you have a special occasion, why not hire a private chef for a night?
A stunning separate living room with a cosy log burner offers the perfect spot to curl up after for relaxed evenings and quality time together. There is a double sofa bed available upon prior arrangement.
Each of the four generous bedrooms is thoughtfully designed for comfort. All bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms, and are laid out as 2 king bedrooms, one twin, and a further bedroom with a double bed and additional triple sleeper bunk bed (double at the bottom and single on top). In addition to the ensuite shower rooms, there is a ground floor bathroom with a luxurious jacuzzi bath for that extra touch of indulgence.
For year-round enjoyment, guests can take advantage of the large private indoor swimming pool and sauna, making this property a true retreat whatever the season. This pool has allocated private times for the Farmhouse (2 hours morning and evening, and shared at other times with one small cottage onsite)
Outside, the beautiful fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture provides plenty of space for relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the surrounding countryside.

Other things to note
- The farm prides itself on trying to reduce carbon footprint. They have successfully installed solar panels to generate electricity to operate the farm and also have a ground source heating system which provides heating for The Boathouse and for the swimming pool.
-The property is pet friendly - there is an additional charge we request from you of £25 per stay
- A sofa bed is available but must be arranged before arrival to provide bedding
-There is a travel cot bed and highchair available upon request
Penwuch Farm is located just over a mile outside the small town of St Clears.
St Clears is a charming town with a good choice of coffee shops, a handful of pubs and restaurants.
It is a small town perfectly located to explore Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. It is 4 miles to Laugharne and 9 miles to Carmarthen. Carmarthen, Wales oldest town, is a market town with a large variety of independent shops and plenty of lovely eateries. There are also plenty of woodland walks and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts nearby and there is easy access to the Brecon Beacons.
There are also a good choice of outdoor activities available in the area, ranging from horse riding, coasteering, to a variety of water sports, abseiling, orienteering, caving and gorge walking.
There are many beautiful rugged beaches in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, along with the more popular coastal resorts of Pendine, Saundersfoot and Tenby.
There is an abundance of interesting attractions locally, including Castles, historic houses and National Botanical Gardens to name a few.
If you are a "foodie" then there is a fantastic choice of restaurants within a 20 - 30 minute's, from family friendly to Michelin Star Restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay for 10 people at the Farmhouse over the Easter weekend. The house is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a number of areas for adults and children to eat, play games and relax. Everything in the house has been done to a very high standard. Lovely bedrooms, all with en suites and the most comfortable beds. Both of our families thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna, such an amazing facility. We look forward to returning back to the Farmhouse in the future.

We did not want to leave!...the whole house was so clean and immaculate!....our 3 kids loved it soo much and enjoyed watching the cows every day<br/>...everything was so spacious and perfect and the pool was amazing!...the host was very responsive and were very kind....we definitely wished we could have stayed here longer and would definitely be back!

The beds were all so comfy, as were the armchairs & sofa's downstairs! The kitchen was well equipped & spacious.
We really didnt want to leave such a gorgeous place! We will be back!🤣

Absolutely gorgeous farmhouse and surroundings. Everything was to a very high standard. Loads of space, very comfortable furniture and beds. Bathrooms were spotless and catered for all ages(including my mother in law). WiFi excellent. Great outdoor area with seating. Very dog friendly. Swimming pool was excellent and a big hit with kids. Great location with lots of places to visit. Would definitely go back.

What a beautiful place to stay <br/>The house was immaculate and very impressive. Bedrooms had ample space as well as an en-suite bathroom in each room.<br/>Kitchen was fully equipped with literally everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The swimming pool is a really lovely size and the inflatables were an added bonus.<br/>The owner is lovely and on hand if you need them.<br/>Nothing to fault on this beautiful accommodation. Highly recommend booking!

The house was even better than expected. Very spacious! Our nearly two year old grandson absolutely loved the running around in this huge area. Added bonus was an almost Olympic size indoor swimming pool with sauna! The outdoor space is lovely too although it rained all week during our stay, but the stay at the house more than made up for it. Thank you!

The farmhouse was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you needed for a relaxing break with the family. The home was decorated to a high standard. All bedrooms had their own en-suite and shower. Greeted by a lovely welcome gift of wine, beers, snacks and teabags. Home well stocked with essentials, towels, dishwasher tablets etc. Beautiful pool in adjacent building with a lovely sauna with an allocated timetable. Beautiful countryside views with some lovely cows. Located 30 minutes from larger towns like Tenby and Saundersfoot. 5 minute drive into St Clears town where there are a few shops (Co-Op, Nisa and Spar). Few takeaway options if you didn't fancy cooking /eating out.<br/><br/>Absolutely perfect home.<br/>

Really great family stay for 7 adults, 3 children and a dog. Plenty of room inside and outside the property. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely quiet location with ample parking. The pool was a great feature of our stay and even better with the timeslots for private swimming sessions. We will hopefully be back next year!

Excellent place to stay for a large group! <br/>Very family friendly and lots of space for all. Each bedroom having an onsuite was an added bonus. The local village had all you need and it was not too far to drive over to Carmarthen. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week in the house. There were 12 of us and we never felt cramped. There is so much space and the house is beautifully presented. Each bedroom was comfortable and well laid out. All the bathrooms super clean and spacious. The kitchen was big and lots of storage. We all loved the outdoor space, getting to see the cows each morning was an added bonus. <br/>We would say the highlight of the trip was the indoor pool. It is massive! We brought inflatables with us and worried they would be too big but honestly we could have brought more! The sauna was also heavenly. <br/>The location is within 30 minutes of shops, attractions and the coastline. We would definitely book again!
