The Cors is an absolute gem! The house itself is remarkable. Not only is it incredibly spacious, but it's also equipped with an array of amenities that made our stay truly exceptional. The interior is both child-friendly and adult-friendly, offering something for everyone.

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

We booked the place for our staff and it was just what they needed. Nice and clean.

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

Lovely spacious and well equipped house in a beautiful setting. It offered everything we needed to settle in and relax for a long weekend, with the ability to verge out for local walks to the beach and castle. Would recommend for large groups - great outdoor area as well as large drive for parking.

Was a very cosy place to stay. Our dog was a small dog and managed to get under the fence in the garden but within an hour the owners had fixed all of the fence so we were able to let our dog out. That was brilliant that they were so on it and attentive to our needs. We were left to our own plans, but we knew they were there and available should we need them. Had a lovely view and was so quiet and peaceful.

Our stay at great Welsh was great, we enjoyed our stay including clean and tidy bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful garden, and amazing view. We also enjoyed hot tub. There were lots of things for kids and other things to play sports. Also host left us many things to eat and drink. Overall it was a perfect house and I recommend it if anyone wants to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host.

Great place for a weekend getaway, plenty of space and really nice having a secure garden for the dog. Well equipped and appreciated having a lot of firewood on hand!

We had a great stay with Hugh and Hazel. They'd put a lot of effort into making the home as welcoming to all (including supplies for rainy days). It was comfortable, well stocked (beyond what I'd normally expect) and they'd left us with plenty of recommendations. Couldn't fault them!

Stayed at Chapel View. A few teething problems as brand new but dealt with brilliantly and quickly by GWE and the lovely owners who live next door. Beautiful cottage - didn’t want to leave!!! And would hugely recommend local walks and a trip to Pendine Sands. And Tapas from the Ferryman which is 2 doors down!!

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
Hosts are just the best so treat this place with respect.

A great location for exploring West Wales. Stunning beaches within 20 minutes. Lovely house, really well set up for families and a dog. Owners could not have been nicer. We will return.

We had a lovely stay at this property in the quiet village of Llansteffan. Our hosts were helpful and communicative. House was spotless and tidy, plenty of cooking equipment etc and a very short distance from the estuary and castle walks.

This was our first ever Air bnb experience. And it most certainly exceeded our expectations. The place is perfect for a little family holiday and have plenty to do within a 30 min drive of the place. There’s even plenty to do in the lodge also with a spacious hot tub, games and crafts for the kids, outside toys etc.

The host is wonderful and can’t do enough. Every little detail has been thought about and the cleanliness of the place is amazing. The lovely hamper, Easter egg and balloons for my son and partner birthdays was a really sweet touch.

Hot tub is amazing! Views are amazing! The lodge is amazing! This place is just amazing. And I’ve told all my friends and family that they need a little trip here.

We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

A beautiful house in a great town with lovely pubs, handy shops and coastal walks.

It was much better than expected, host Hazel was helpful, friendly and provides more extras than we have ever seen. It exceeded our expectations and if we go to Wales in future would always look to stay here again .

We had a great stay at the house which has real character, would recommend the house and the village, lots of great social areas and the rooms were all fabulous with comfy beds. Lots of thought has gone into the decoration and the bits around the house and pictures etc. We had a fabulous week (6 adults, 3 early teens). Great that we could take the dogs and there was a gate to keep them in there allowed area.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

A really comfortable and well equipped property and as is stated in the details. In a good location in the centre of Laugharne which has a good range of eating places and small stores. The food from Poons was fabulous.

We have had the most amazing time at Cliff Haven for my daughters Birthday. The view is breathtaking, the property has everything we needed. We are sad to leave & will definitely book again! 5*. Thank you! X

Booked for a birthday get away for a group of friends. The property was perfect and Great Welsh Escapes were friendly and helpful in all contact.

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

We had a 3 night stay at Dylan's Den in Laugharne and it was amazing. 4 well appointed en-suite bedrooms and a lovely cosy lounge area and kitchen. Plenty of room for the 7 of us (and our dog)
We were also left a comprehensive welcome pack which was gratefully received. If you haven't been to Laugharne then you really should add it to your list of places to visit. Wonderful.
Jac was very communicative throughout our stay, checking in that all was well, which of course it was, but it we still appreciated the fact he cared. We would love to return to Laugharne one day and would certainly aim to stay at Dylan's Den when we do..Thanks again.

Great place to stay and would very highly recommend it - lots of little touches to make you feel at home and welcome you in. Very very quiet and peaceful. Lovely to take time out and a great place to explore Carmarthenshire. Remember this is a working farm so cattle wandering down the track behind the cottage is a lovely sight to see, maybe not so nice on the nose occasionally but it really didnt bother us.

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

It has a lovely feel about it and everything you could want when on holiday. It is a steep walk back from the beach but worth it.
The garden has a lovely view of the fields.
We had a lovely time and even though we were only there for a weekend felt like we had been on a real holiday.

Very comfortable property, warm and welcoming. Plenty of room for a family holiday. Comfortable beds and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Surrounded by lovely countryside, peace and quiet. A good base for exploring the area. We took the option of renting the annex as well so my son good work for part of the time. Highly recommend both property’s.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. Me and my family had stayed at Drefach from the 31st of August till the 4th of September. Instructions for checking in were straightforward. The property itself was very clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates and cutlery as well as some essential cooking ingredients. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was brilliant. Overall, we all had a great time, including our dog who enjoyed his stay. We would recommend this property.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

Beautiful characterful house, with a gorgeous garden. The situation is very peaceful but shops and restaurants/pubs are in easy walking distance. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family party and a small dog (who spent a lot of time on the very welcome dog bed - much bigger than his at home!). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

The most perfect holiday home. The house was spotless, had everything inside we could have wanted and the little things such as more than enough plates and towels etc for everyone which is always so helpful. A great space for everyone and the big garden is an added bonus and secure for animals which gives great peace of mind. The house was close to the town centre with perfect views from the balcony and kitchen window. We'd definitely stay at this home again it really felt like a home from home :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac and Great Welsh Escapes for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! Everything about this property is brilliant, I miss it already!

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return

Beautiful little property in the centre of Laugharne - perfect for a couple! There’s a few pubs, The Three Mariners being the best in our opinion. Not so many places close by to eat in the evening (not all the pubs do food in the evening) but the property is well equipped for cooking. Dexter’s steak restaurant at Browns Hotel is fantastic & worth a try!
Good location for visits to Tenby, Stackpole & the Pembrokeshire coast in general - lots of things to do/see/walk within an hour’s drive.
Parking wasn’t really an issue - it’s on the road outside the property. Managed to parked straight outside every day apart from one when we parked outside Browns Hotel.
Communication with the host, Jacs, was excellent - very helpful & friendly.
Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in this area!

Lovely place, well decorated and styled. Had everything we needed. Great location and easy to get to. We just wanted a little break and to get a way for a few days. This little place is perfect for a chilled couple’s getaway and is very well placed for walking weekends and visiting the home of Dylan Thomas.

Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views of the sea and countryside.
We visited with 2 children aged 10 and 12. All had a brilliant time visiting the local beaches and just enjoying the lovely cottage.

We had days out in Tenby and Pendine, as well as a beautiful walk down to Amroth beach. The house is welcoming and felt like home straight away, the hosts left us some lovely tea, coffee and other items as a nice surprise when we arrived. We had everything we needed for our stay, and we’re able to pop out to the local co op for food and drink during the week, about a 10 minute drive away.

Fantastic break at Brofallen and none of us wanted to leave!!

The property is spacious, stylish and well maintained. Rear garden was a nice space and if we had had more time we would have made good use of the decking area overlooking fields at the back.

what didn’t I like would be easier to answer! the building is beautiful and very comfortable. the set up was perfect for my family especially with the mezzanine floor bedroom which gave my daughters the space they needed. it has everything we needed and more!

We booked as it was our friends 50th in Laugharne. Was a perfect place to stay, the shower was particularly great as our water pressure at home is terrible but this is powerful and perfect temperature which felt like a real treat lol. Lovely homely touches like a bottle of wine, milk for tea, and some snacks why we weren’t expecting but were very welcome. It’s ideal for a weekend getaway and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We loved that it was off the beaten track, however only a short distance to restaurants. Lovely and clean, everything was supplied that you needed. Even down to a follow up text after we arrived to make sure everything was ok. Brilliant service, thank you.

Had a great weekend at Jac’s place. Two families together ranging from age 7- 74. The house is lovely and spacious so plenty of room to cater for everyone. We had some rain, it didn’t matter though, whilst some were playing pool in the games room, others were playing board games in the dining room, which left the cinema room for playing on the Nintendo switch or watching tv. We made the most of the dry weather and had a couple walks into Laugharne. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The garden is huge and would be wonderful during summer I’m sure.

We had a lovely stay - in particular we enjoyed the excellent living space/kitchen and outside area. Our baby especially loved playing on the big living room rug.

The surrounding area is amazing and the property is very well located for access to beaches, Tenby, Pembroke, Bosherston, Stackpole etc. The only thing was the proximity to the MOD area, which we were prepared for, but I think they were perhaps doing extra tank and machine gun practice during our stay. It can be a little disconcerting having your evening meal peppered with the sound of tank and machine gun fire. I understand this wouldn’t be a problem during the summer school holidays or weekend though.

We loved going to the different beaches etc. and we also had some lovely meals out - including at the fabulous Paternoster Farm which is only round the corner (must book in advance).

This was a brilliant property, with all the comforts you would want and a very well equipped kitchen. It has very generous sized social areas and kitchen for 8 people and it was great how close to the estuary and castle it was too. Would definitely visit again!

The most beautiful apartment in our favourite place (Saundersfoot.) From the moment we walked in we knew we would love it, spotlessly clean & beautiful apartment and they really have thought of absolutely everything!!! Great shower and lovely sized bath. Very comfortable bed. Lovely modern kitchen and living room. Absolutely faultless, we loved our stay so much!

Clean and homely - the property is lovely and clean. we appreciatedthe homely feel and the yummy welcome treats!

Ideal for small families - we took our baby girl. It was such a relief that the property already had a travel cot and snack chair which fits onto the dining room chair so we didn't have to worry about packing as much stuff. Only issue is that there is no bath tub to wash baby in but we took a little baby bath tub with us which was no problem.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The Cors is a very special place. it is beautiful inside and out. We can only imagine just how fantastic the gardens would be in summer. The rooms are generous and social, while still allowing space to read and potter. The house was very clean, with lots of little extra touches to make our stay even better. walks along the estuary were stunning. The village has a couple of shops and pubs and on our last night we had a fantastic thai meal delivered from Poony who is aboutoto open a premises on the Grist. Just lovely!!

Wonderful house very spacious and a great design for multiple guests/ couples as you can all have a private room but then the kitchen dining and living rooms were huge for eating together etc.
Awsome location just 10 minutes walk to the local castle and sea/ estuary aswell as some handy local shops
We went for a family gathering over Christmas and arrived to find a lovely Christmas tree in the living room....a really nice touch!

The Old School House far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful place to stay in. It’s spacious, clean, peaceful & looks stunning.
Clear instructions, especially the tip for using What3Words! The hosts were very responsive when emailed.
We had everything we needed. We spent plenty of time chilling there, but also went to Pendine Beach which was a great place with plenty of space, glorious sand & great views.
There’s a lovely cafe literally next door to the property in a converted barn, great food & friendly hosts.
We spoke to one of the neighbours out walking his dogs & he was friendly & told us to visit Poons Street Cafe in Laugharne but unfortunately we didn’t get chance.
We highly recommend The Old School House.

A truly unique property in a superb setting!

A great house for a small family celebration with rooms that lend themselves to all manner of occasion! The bar room was a hit for our cocktail and karaoke evening, the large dining room perfect for large family meals and the cinema room was just perfect for a lazy Sunday after a walk around the boathouse and a stop at the local pub!

All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and made for a cosy nights sleep!

Would highly recommend for families or groups looking to reconnect after a particularly tricky year!

The property was exceptionally clean, beautiful decor and had everything we could have possibly needed and more . The bed was comfortable, we had a beautiful sea view and just a 10 minute stroll down to the beach and shops/restaurants/bars.

Dit is een prachtig vakantiehuisje, gelegen midden op het platteland van Pembrokeshire met een prachtig uitzicht vanuit de eetkamer en slaapkamer. Het ligt direct naast het huis van de eigenaren Lloyd en Buddug en hun superleuke hondjes. Het zijn hele fijne en attente mensen die je graag helpen bij vragen en die ook nog eens heerlijke honing maken. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien; aanrader!

Superb location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, castle and walks by the estuary. Outstanding garden, perfect for a peaceful morning coffee and spacious enough for badminton and hide and seek! Lots to do indoors for a multi-generational family. Living the dream!

Lovely cottage in laugharne King Street. Very comfortable, kitchen had everything I needed. Lovely outside area, bedroom beautifully decorated. Bathroom lovely with huge shower unit. I really enjoyed my stay. Lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting on arrival was a very nice extra. I had a lovely stay here and will definitely book it again. Thank you!

Amazing place, so unique. The house is more spacious than we expected and it has a lovely log burner which gives it such a cosy feel. You need a car to get around as there is not much nearby that’s walkable but this wasn’t a problem for us. The cafe around the other side of the house did a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

We fell in love with the Farmhouse and the views. On rainy days we stayed in the cozy home and relaxed. On sunny days we hiked and explored castle ruins. An amazing Welsh property

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

It's a beautiful house in a great location overlooking the town. We had plenty of space and everything we needed as a group of five adults and two kids. We would be happy to stay there again.

Had a super stay at the Barn and Chaffhouse in Castlemartin. It was ideally located for glorious beaches and scenery. Very well appointed and great hosts. Would recommend a stay here anytime.

Amazing place for a quiet weekend away. Ponds in gardens so you need to keep an eye on young children. We had a great time, plenty to see and do in and around the area.

We soon settled in & felt very relaxed the whole time. The beds were very comfy & all slept very well. The bathroom/ensuite were lovely & showers excellent. We never got bored of looking at the view. The location was perfect to walk into Tenby centre.

Truly amazing place to stay which makes you feel like Lord and Lady of the Manor and a garden befitting a stately home, but eclectic and personal too. Full of art, but expect a few rough edges as you'd expect from a period property.

Really lovely house and wonderful, friendly hosts. Recently refurbished, and they did a great job. Spacious living room and kitchen downstairs with everything you could want. The two main bedrooms are very large and comfortable. Off street parking which is extremely useful in St Clears, and the hosts live next door so check-in and check-out was super easy. Highly recommended :)

Parking was a little tricky at times

Location was great and place was comfortable. We had a problem on one night with the shower and by the morning it was fixed so really good service.
Fresher towels as they were quite worn. The main bed was a bit hard.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

When you arrive at The Cors Country House you are met with the absolute "wow" factor. Just entering the porperty and driving down the long beautiful private driveway is in itself breathtaking. Then when you get inside and see the beautiful rooms and the stunning views from the bedrooms of the well kept gardens you cant help but feel like youre somewhere special. It was my mums 70th birthday getaway for our family and was everything we wanted and more. We all had such an amazing time, the bedrooms were just gorgeous and the children loved the attick room. Great family lounge area where we could all sit down and talk and play games. I cannot say enough good things!

We chose this beautiful home for my 60th birthday celebration with all my family and it did not disappoint us. The property was spacious and so very well equipped throughout. There is plenty of car park space too. The 5 bedrooms with 3 of the 4 double bedded rooms having en-suite bathrooms with a family bathroom for the other double and twin attic bedroom. Unfortunately the 3 nights stay wasn’t long enough and wished stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jac for the welcome pack of local produce together with my 60th balloon which was an added touch much appreciated. The bar and pool table were used each night. It was a great way to celebrate with my family thank you for everything

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

This is a beautiful and very characterful house! It is tastefully quirky and a perfect place to spend time with family or friends. A few great pubs and a lovely Thai within walking distance too! Recommended!

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!
