We had a lovely time. Really liked the 2 lounges, when I got fed up of the Mrs I used the other lounge and could watch what I wanted on the TV. The double bed was quite firm which wasn’t to our liking. There were a few general maintenance and cleanliness issues but these didn’t affect our stay. The location was stunning and peaceful, we saw more tractors than cars 😀 Hazel visited us on the first evening to make sure we were all settled and gave us some good recommendations. We really enjoyed stargazing while sat in the hot tub and the visits every morning from the farm cat. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could want and need as well as some basic items in the cupboards (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, spices etc)

As a big family it was a perfect place to be all together. There was plenty of space for us all and the views were beautiful!

Wonderful, relaxing stay and the house had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable with lovely quality linen. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful garden amongst the amazing plants. Would love to visit again. Jac is an excellent host, proactive and really helpful with lots of information in the guide. We enjoyed our stay so much we added an extra night. I’m sure we will be back.

This house was perfect for our needs. Daughter, son in law & grandchildren (age 2 & 3) slept downstairs and the rest of us were upstairs. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. Two living room areas which were well equipped. Kitchen also had plenty of space and all that was needed for our stay. We appreciated the car parking space rather than parking on the street as the village is quite narrow in places. We didn’t use the log burner as the house was lovely and warm & there was always lots of hot water.
We would definitely recommend this house & would book again. Booking with Welsh Escapes was easy and communication excellent.

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

We will be back definitely, it’s so clean and convenient to go attractions nearby

Had a super stay at the Barn and Chaffhouse in Castlemartin. It was ideally located for glorious beaches and scenery. Very well appointed and great hosts. Would recommend a stay here anytime.

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

Honestly one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Lovely property, we felt so at home. Had the best 3 nights sleep in years. Nice private location, plenty of walks to keep busy for a few days. The host was also great and very responsive. Only minor point would be that I didn’t find the WiFi usable, but I didn’t go for that, and 4G was good (I’m on O2). Overall highly recommended and I hope to return

The Cors is really a very special place in the fabulous town of Laugharne. Close to two very good pubs, an excellent Thai restaurant and a good Deli. What makes the holiday is the house with its fabulous grounds. Clean ,well equipped, very generous welcome pack and responsive host. Highly recommended.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

Round Park est un beau gîte, bien placé avec une belle opportunité de visiter un pays charmant. Nous ne connaissions pas et avons été charmés par les paysages, les plages (fraîches), les châteaux et ballades à faire avec plein d activités possibles. Un bel endroit pour des vacances loin de la canicule de notre sud ouest français.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

Great location with so many things to do all around. 15 minutes to the loveliest beaches. The local people were so friendly, found a great Butcher and bakery just up the road. We cooked all our meals at the cottage and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable stay. Thank you!

The house was immaculate - so clean and well equipped. Hanna had thought of everything. It was also warm and cosy and we were lucky with the weather, enabling us to sit outside on a few afternoons. The peaceful setting and wonderful views added to our great stay. Would highly recommend.

Great stay at Sea Gem.
Ten minutes walk from the centre of Tenby, with a lovely garden / sea views. Good, well stocked kitchen meant we could comfortably cook for 6 most nights.

The cleanest and most well equipped place we've ever stayed at. A beautiful and spaceous bungalow i'd have no hesitation in recommending. Friendly host checked in on us and showed us how to use the hot tub but was never intruding. Also gave us a beautiful hamper and bottle of wine. If we're ever staying in the area again I will book again.

A beautiful house In a lovely quiet village. We always go away for a summer family week with our grown up kids and their partners and this house was big enough for them to all have their space and a kitchen and outdoor space for us to come together for big family meals .we had poor weather and there upstairs starting area was good for film night The enclosed garden was good for our two dogs.

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

We had a much needed, relaxing week in Tenby in some really sunny April weather. The flat's location is very central and has a great view of the harbour. We had all of the amenities we needed and would consider returning to Tenby again!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely large bedroom and bathroom, lounge smaller than expected but cosy and comfortable. Double glazing kept the room quiet. Lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely stay again.

We were in Laugharne for five nights in May and enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is great: right across from the castle, with a café next door and a convenience store just around the corner.
The view from the living room was my highlight - perfect for castle enthusiasts! Lots of walking trails around and the area is full of birds!
It was helpful having two showers, and the small garden was a nice spot to sit out during warm evenings. The internet connection was reliable, even when two of us had to work remotely. The hosts were quick to respond and gave clear instructions.
We'd stay here again if we are in the area.

Accommodation was excellent, kitchen well equipped, just what we wanted.

Die Wohnung liegt zentral. Der Ausblick ist phänomenal. Die Küche ist spartanisch ausgestattet. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung etwas leer. Man hat das Gefühl das das was nicht da ist auch nicht gestohlen werden kann. Fernseher ist allerdings perfekt. Internet gut.

My only suggestion is that a grab rail inside the annexe shower would be very helpful plus a non slip mat for the floor

What a fantastic place and an amazing base to explore Pembrokeshire. We arrived in the most wonderful grounds of Upton Castle and were welcomed by our friendly hosts who gave us all the necessary information to make our stay easy. The grounds are picturesque and the house is quiet and peaceful. There is everything you need and nothing you don’t, so don’t expect ultra-fast broadband but do expect wonderful nights by the fire roasting marshmallows, playing games, and doing things ‘offline’. Within 15/20 mins you have amazing beaches like Barafundle and Coppet Hall, towns such as Tenby and Narberth, castles, shops, National Trust sites, and nature. A little further afield you have St Davids, Fishguard, Cardigan, and Scomer Island but all very accessible from this great location. Our whole family thought the 10 day break was amazing and we are itching to get back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tenby, the property was great and really roomy. We would definitely return. The only negative I would say is the camera in the back garden, it felt a little intrusive when you're trying to relax.

Gwalia House was absolutely exceptional. Beautifully decorated inside and accommodated our young family perfectly. So much space for the little ones and luxury comfort for the adults. We would not hesitate to book again.

A really lovely spot. A few minutes walk through the alleyways to shops and car parks. All the time checking out the amazing changing view over the harbour from high to low water and back again. My partner appreciated the lift with the luggage, but really, the stairs up 2 flights no bother.

Lovely place to stay! Weather wasn't so good, but there are plenty of things to see and do nearby. We popped to Tenby beach for an hour, and after won loads of cheap prizes/special toys in the local amusements.
Manor wildlife park visit was nice, and up to Cenarth falls which was a pretty sight.
The place itself was nice and chilled, and there was a very large indoor pool to spend some time in and enjoy.
An umbrella for the outdoor seating might have been useful, and it would have been great to be able to take a little boat out onto the pond/lake. But we really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Everything about this property is brilliant, I miss it already!

We had an incredible time and loved staying at Maes Y Mel. It was a home away from home and we’ll definitely be coming back again in years to come. The hosts were so kind and friendly, a fantastic holiday spot to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Would 100% stay again, only down side was there was no wardrobes but it’s not the end of the world living out a case for a few days.

Saundersfoot and surrounding areas are beautiful. This flat is the perfect base for making the most of it with its sea view and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will gladly return to this location.

Large, clean and private indoor heated pool plus sauna. Very tranquil location overseeing the lake. There are not other guests as there is only one property for holiday makers so it is very private feeling just like a second home. There are everything needed in the house.

So much room for everyone, Ideal for large family holiday with dog.

Garden not enclosed, but it was so big the dog just stayed around the house so not a problem.

Pond in garden could be a problem for small children.

The place itself is absolutely lovely, and they really have thought of everything and provided any tool or little thing you may not even have thought about! It’s so clean and smells lovely, the beds are also extremely comfy and soft. The location is beautiful and nice and quiet. Lots to do around it as well as being easy to get to places a bit further out. Hazel and Hugh are also so nice and welcoming.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean and the weather was amazing during our stay; so we enjoyed the lovely views out to sea. It is worth pointing out that although a fifteen minute walk to the harbour this is all downhill and therefore quite a steep walk back uphill!.The living area is fronting the road which was quite busy and noisy at times with the windows open, although the bedroom to the rear was quite and very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay and the flat was well situated for exploring the surrounding area.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

We had a great few days at the house. The downstairs rooms are vast and gave us a lot of space. The garden is lovely - the cherry blossom was so beautiful! We did lots of interesting trips. We’d love to come back one day.

Stayed a Sunnybank beginning of October for ten days. Immediately when you walk in you can see that the cottage is so clean and fresh. Everything you need for a holiday is there, just like home from home. The hot tub (which is very private) is excellent and so it the games room. The owners were easily contactable if needed. We would highly recommend this cottage. Although we didn't require, the cottage is also ideal if there is a disability shower wise etc. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!
