We loved everything about the barn and chaffhouse and the children are wanting us to buy a barn of our own. The barn is perfect and the area is stunning. We've been staycationing in Croyde for years and moving forward we have decided to make this our new staycation venue. Very Impressed. Comfortably accommodated our family - Mum, Dad and 4 children, 6, 4, 2 and 5 months.

Picton cottage studio was beautiful and immaculate. It is furnished to a very high standard. Lovely, warm, peaceful and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was really good, so close to Laugharne, St clears and the Pembrokeshire coast.
Picton house hotel 100yrds away serving superb food and entertainment and the Savoy Inn about a mile away also serving great food. Will definitely go back and reccomend.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

We enjoyed a lovely week at this beautiful cottage! Plenty of space for kids and dog both inside and outside. It was just a short drive to Freshwater West beach for awesome sand, surfing and rock pools. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday.

Hugh and hazels place was so lovely felt so private and really did think of everything we may need to spare toiletries to milk and battery’s. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise and the hot tub was 10/10. We felt like we were the first guests in the place was that clean! Thank you both again

Wildhaven is a wonderful place to pause and reset. This was our second stay, and hopefully not our last! It really feels like it's in the heart of the Beacons National Park with nothing around by sheep, beautiful scenery, and wild horses. I can't recommend it enough.

We had a couple of hiccups with the house, but the hosts communicated well and they were resolved efficiently.

For New Years we stayed at the wonderful Fernhill House Laugharne. Not only was the house spectacular the location was perfect!!! Great Welsh Escapes were brilliant-not only from the first contact but from assisting with the booking and throughout our stay. We've already booked again for next New Years.

We had a lovely weekend in Saundersfoot, and found the property within walking distance of everything we wanted, though the hill was a bit tough but good for us!
The house was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The beds were especially comfortable, I slept so well!

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.
I would highly recommend this apartment.

Our stay at Sunnybank was just perfect. The location was unbelievable, peaceful and quiet and the view of fields upon fields was incredible.
The hosts were brilliant, very informative, left us to it but made it clear if we needed anything at all not to hesitate to ask.
They had everything you can imagine there for you, the place was spotless and a gorgeous welcome hamper on arrival made our stay.
We did some beautiful local walks, and the hot tub was an absolute bonus. Especially at night with the clear skies.

The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. We had a wonderful stay for 10 people at the Farmhouse over the Easter weekend. The house is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a number of areas for adults and children to eat, play games and relax. Everything in the house has been done to a very high standard. Lovely bedrooms, all with en suites and the most comfortable beds. Both of our families thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna, such an amazing facility. We look forward to returning back to the Farmhouse in the future.

We have just arrived home after a fabulous stay at Round Park. The house was so much more spacious than expected and was a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful clean beaches and pretty towns and villages. There was a lovely welcome gift of wine , tea & stoopwaffles. Everything was catered for with cooking equipment including brand new airfryers. The beds were clean & comfortable.Would definitely recommend & use again in the future.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and we were able to explore the length and breadth of south west Wales. The facilities at the property were five star. We had a wonderful stay here. Photos don’t to the cottage justice as cottage and rooms were bigger than photographs allude to. The location was fantastic and so was the communication too. There was a lovely welcome package and everything far exceeded our expectations. Parking was tricky on times however we always managed to find a space nearby. Would most definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. A lot of internal space, well equipped kitchen, a great den/TV room which was very popular with our teenagers and spacious bedrooms. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating options to catch the sun during the day. A private setting and very peaceful.
Just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs, Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. A short drive to the vast Pendine beach. EV charger was very convenient - not many public options in the area.
Would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Middlelands in August (5 adults, 3 kids) The house has large living spaces, was immaculate, and tastefully decorated. Kitchen very well equipped. The location is rural but within 15-30 mins drive of many activities and beaches, great for families. Communication from Great Welsh Escapes was excellent. I hope we will return!

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

What a fantastic stay we had at Dyffryn Taf! The area is so quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect escape. The house was immaculate—clean, tidy, and well-presented—and fully equipped with everything our family needed. My kids and I had a truly wonderful time.

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

This is a beautiful barn conversion, you can really see the owners have put a lots of thought and effort into the finishing details. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet but only a 30 min walk into Carmarthen.

The host was friendly and welcoming and the hot tub was fantastic.

A magical few days on this working farm. Our daughter loved seeing the lambs and we enjoyed fresh milk from the cows. The views across the river were breathtaking and our hosts couldn’t have made us feel more at home. We loved it.

The property is lovely. It's well decorated with all the facilities you may need. There is a comfortable lounge/kitchen/dinning area downstairs and a large bedroom with ensuite upstairs. There is a lovely little courtyard outside, which was lovely to sit out in the evening (during the May bank holiday heat wave!). The house is located on the main street of the village and in easy walking distance to some excellent pubs and restaurants. We pre-booked reservations and were pleased that we did, as it was a busy weekend. There are some very pretty walks around the village which we enjoyed in the mornings. The house is located in a great area to visit the coastline in South and South/West Wales.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

A beautifully laid out cottage in a lovely area of wales. Well situated for the beach or for exploring Carmarthebshire or Pembrokeshire… or just staying in in comfort. Good sized kitchen with all you’d need and a supportive host.

This is a lovely cottage in the grounds of a castle. A real escape from the modern world. A perfect place to holiday with our 8-month old daughter. We had early morning walks in the castle grounds and cozy evenings in with the fires lit. Internet was only capable of handling messages, but that added to the experience in our opinion. A few cobwebs could be cleared up, but otherwise clean and the beds were very comfy.

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

Middlelands is a high quality place to stay and 10-25 mins to all the finest of Pembroke's beaches (therefore some of the most beautiful in the world). Plenty of space for my party and our dog. Amenities are as described with excellent cooking facilities. The owner, Ros, lives nearby and accessible so you are not dealing with a faceless agent. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

A perfect place to stay over Christmas with two toddlers and a dog.
The Boathouse was exactly as described and decorated for Christmas when we arrived.
The pool was bigger than expected but perfect to use each day for kids working on their swimming and water confidence.
The host, Richard, was always available, friendly and chatty with the kids when they showed an interest in the animals.

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

Holly and the team made us feel very welcomed. The coach house was a great base in the area with a lovely outlook from the garden for our family and two dogs. Easy access to the main road as well to get to the local beaches.

We had a fantastic week in Laugharne at Gwalia House. The accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean and exactly as described and was perfectly located to enjoy all the Laugharne and the surrounding area has to offer. Laugharne itself is gorgeous and such a friendly place, we especially liked Poon over the road! The hosts (Great Welsh Escape) were very communicative and even responded to questions on bank holiday! We loved Gwalia House and definitely hope to be back.

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. Diolch yn fawr.

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.
We will be back!

We spent a few days in Wales.
The accommodation is beautifully located, quiet, and checking in and out at the security gate is no problem!
The beach is 2 meters away, but it's easy to reach by car! We didn't mind that it's only accessible after 4:00 PM on weekdays. Then you practically have it to yourself!
We were the only guests, but four people are no problem.
The accommodation is just as pictured.
If we visit Wales again, we'll definitely stay in this accommodation.

Our stay at The Old School House in Carmarthenshire was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with underfloor heating and a boiling water tap, was impressive, and we were greeted with a lovely hamper.
The living room had a cosy sofa facing an 83-inch OLED TV with a great sound system. Every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suites was finished to the highest standard.
The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day, and it was here my partner proposed—I’m happy to say, I said yes!
The house is easy to find, with ultra-fast gigabit broadband and immaculate cleanliness.
We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

My only criticism is that there is no handrail on the upper part of the stairs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and we need a rail to hold on to.

Gorgeous bungalow plenty of space and room in the property I would say a few things need looking at like the curtain rails don’t draw properly. The kitchen knives were really blunt. The fish slice fell apart and I cut myself on the tin opener otherwise I can’t fault it plenty of space for everyone.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the welcome hamper in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to the hot tub out the back which we enjoyed.Hazel even popped over after we had checked in to make sure everything was fine for us which was very nice of her,the area was very quiet and peaceful with the lovely views ideal for a relaxing holiday especially with Tenby just 25 minute's drive away we will definitely be booking again next year
