Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.
Would not hesitate to return and great value.

Stayed at the most beautiful place in Laugharne. The view was spectacular. Good communication throughout from Great Welsh Escapes.

We had the best week at The Cors. We had everything we needed to hand. The house was perfect, the space and gardens were ideal. The communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We loved visiting the nearby beaches and little village. Would definitely recommend!

A perfect place to stay over Christmas with two toddlers and a dog.
The Boathouse was exactly as described and decorated for Christmas when we arrived.
The pool was bigger than expected but perfect to use each day for kids working on their swimming and water confidence.
The host, Richard, was always available, friendly and chatty with the kids when they showed an interest in the animals.

Absolutely stunning property with everything we needed for our week long stay . Ample room for 10 adults, great outdoor space and pool , good Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean crisp white linen and towels, and perfect location for walking and exploring local countryside and beaches.

Really enjoyed staying at tranquil house by the lake. Very cosy and well maintained, it was a great place to unwind for few days. didn't use the pool but having the sauna available during the winter was nice. Communication from Jess was great and spoke to the owner on site who was very friendly also. The Boathouse would be even better in the summer to be able to sit out and watch ducks swim around.

I cannot big this properly up enough, the hosts left a lovely welcome basket which was a very lovely and personal touch, Hazel made us feel welcome on arrival and checked everything was okay for us. The property was very cosy and extremely clean, there was robs and towels left for us to use for the hot tub, anything you could think of that you would have needed or wanted was at the property. The property is located in a private area which was amazing for the evenings, however there was an abundance of things for us to do and see through the days just a short drive from the property. There was plenty of restaurants around a ten minute drive away to choose from too. We loved the properly so much we booked an extra nights stay which was so easy to do through the sight. We have already highly recommend the property to friends and family and would surely book the property in the future.

Small but very well done, only surprise was just a microwave for cooking, no hob. But fine for breakfast! Milk in fridge on arrival plus Welsh cakes which was nice.

A lovely house, with fantastic gardens. Perfect place to stay and relax for a week with three generations of our family getting together. Minutes walk into town, plenty to do in the area and it’s such a nice place to stay you’ll be happy just staying in, even when it’s raining. If anything, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos - though we were also lucky with the sunshine.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Absolutely beautiful setting for us. Felt quite and out the way but still close enough to grab groceries. We had a car so we was happy to drive to the top beaches in wales each day from here was around 50 minutes really happy with our pick with this one Highly recommended

Very responsive host and lovely quiet place to stay with good sized rooms and all the facilities needed to feel homely and safe. Very lovely hosts.

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

The Cors Country House exceeded all my expectations, we had an amazing time, the house and grounds were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.

The property is lovely. It's well decorated with all the facilities you may need. There is a comfortable lounge/kitchen/dinning area downstairs and a large bedroom with ensuite upstairs. There is a lovely little courtyard outside, which was lovely to sit out in the evening (during the May bank holiday heat wave!). The house is located on the main street of the village and in easy walking distance to some excellent pubs and restaurants. We pre-booked reservations and were pleased that we did, as it was a busy weekend. There are some very pretty walks around the village which we enjoyed in the mornings. The house is located in a great area to visit the coastline in South and South/West Wales.

Perfect places to stay, 100% recommended, we definitely planing to stay in one of does residents again. Very good contact, very clean, everything perfect.

We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

The cottage is beautifully situated with fantastic views of the area. Paula was a great host - very friendly and giving helpful tips and advice for exploring the local area, and her two dogs Lulu and Bob were also very gentle and friendly, and great play mates for our two children. The cottage itself was great. Very clean and well arranged, so that we (a family of four) quickly felt at home. The location is well placed to explore the local area and has some great treasures close by. Would highly recommend and we will definitely come back if we visit the area again.

Our second stay at Gwalia House and it didn’t disappoint. The house is very stylish and comfortable

This is a beautiful barn conversion, you can really see the owners have put a lots of thought and effort into the finishing details. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet but only a 30 min walk into Carmarthen.

The host was friendly and welcoming and the hot tub was fantastic.

we stayed at the property for our honeymoon and could not believe how beautiful and remote it was. the closest villages and towns are a 20 minute drive in any direction, the views are stunning and the space feels cozy and like home.

Lovely host, cottage was amazing and very clean. Beautiful surroundings. Great Welsh escapes couldn’t be more helpful, great communication etc. My daughter left an item behind which they collected and posted back to us! Will 100% recommend and use great Welsh escapes in future. Thank you all again!

Lovely relaxing few days , everything that we needed . Only disappointment - I wish Id booked longer ! It was Mabel's (our 5 month old cockerpoo) first holiday and she had a safe enclosed patio to play in , and it was a short drive to new experiences on the beach! Would definitely book again :)

Lovely barn with everything you would need inside. Clean and tidy rooms. Great location for travelling around the area, with Tenby, Fishgaurd and Milford haven close by. We had a lovely Chinese at Pendine too.

A totally beautiful barn conversion that thought of every possible thing that any guest could possibly want. Stunning!

This is a lovely flat, with a great view of Tenby harbour and all the way down the beach (and the coast beyond). The flat is also beautifully positioned for visiting the town and all it has to offer. Nice decor and OKish bedding (next time we would take our own pillows). The flat is well laid out and was perfect for our family of three (four would be cramped around the tiny dining table). We had a great stay and we would be more than happy to return.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

Location wise, you would be hard pushed to find a property to top this one. Fabulous views & easy walking distance to all that you need - beach, cafe, shops, restaurants etc. Parking is in public car park but we didn't use the car the whole time we were there so not an issue.

The whole place was fantastic, Hazel has thought of everything. From the welcome pack to the personal greeting nothing was too much trouble.
The grandchildren had a great weekend and the hot tub and games room were the cherry on top.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

Very nice house, freshly renovated in the stunning location. Everything is done with a great taste. Location is perfect to explore the South Welsh.

We had a wonderful week at Creek Cottage. Waking to the sounds of a song thrush and blackbird and no traffic noise was wonderful. Prue showed us around the house and explained where things are. Steve and Prue were both very friendly and welcoming.
The castle grounds are glorious - with a huge walled garden and 12th century chapel. It was a pleasure to have access to these. Just one note, the drive is a little rutted and quite steep in places. It may not be easy for lower, more sporty cars.

We had a lovely weekend here, the food next door was beautiful.
My children loved the garden and loved watching the horses.
It was very clean and easy to get to. I would definitely recommend staying.

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

There is loads to do in the area, we were here for a week and went to:

- Local beaches which are all fabulous, especially Llansteffan with the fish & chips

- Tenby

Wonderful stay, one of the best we’ve had. The cottage is very cozy, has amazing views and has everything you need. We felt like home (I wish my home was like this place though). The stay was very relaxing. It was very easy to find—just click on “open the address in the maps/gogle maps” and it will take you right to the place (we used gogle maps, so the app just received the exact coordinates and led us to the exact spot.) The road at the end was totally fine—no issues at all. A typical countryside road and it’s fairly smooth. We would love to come back one day. The hosts were very responsive.

The apartment was amazing. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything you needed was provided down to an array of herbs and spices to produce any meal if you wanted. The bed was very comfortable bathroom large and spotlessly clean throughout.

The house was amazing we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My daughter loved the Jacuzzi, myself and my wife love cooking so the kitchen was without doubt perfect and as a family entertainment wise the TV was perfect to relax chill and enjoy a few Xmas movies. I would definitely be back again !

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! We found the kitchen well equipped and spacious and the lounge cosy in the evenings. Beds were comfy and we used all 3 bedrooms. The location is good with easy access to walking paths. Laugharne was quieter than we had anticipated for early July and not all businesses were open, e.g. the fish and chip shop was open at lunchtime but closed in the evening. As other reviewers have commented, we did not find it possible to park in the street near the house during our stay. We used the washing machine and an outdoor washing line would have been useful.
There is a garden/outside space but we didn’t use it as we didn’t have great weather.
Great Welsh Escapes were easy to contact and helpful. We would happily book via them again if we were to revisit Wales.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

For New Years we stayed at the wonderful Fernhill House Laugharne. Not only was the house spectacular the location was perfect!!! Great Welsh Escapes were brilliant-not only from the first contact but from assisting with the booking and throughout our stay. We've already booked again for next New Years.

a calm and cosy place after long walks on the costal path. The house is a little bit covered the sound of the sea was barely to hear. The directions to the house are clearly described and it's very good signed, so or was no problem to find it. Yes a small car has advantages to get there.
we will surely return when doing holidays again in the region.

The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

The whole property was clean and very modern.
The village is very close with all amenities BUT please try Ty Glo....this eatery was one of the highlights.....a jewel that's hidden from sight.

Our stay at Chapel View in Laugharne, Carmarthen was excellent. The cottage is ideal for two and decorated in modern style and comfort. It is well located in the centre of the upper town and is secure and quiet thanks to double glazing. We really enjoyed Laugharne and the surrounding area.

This is an excellent choice for staying in Saundersfoot. I would recommend it and would stay again.

Very nice accomodation , it is in the country, but shops and restaurants at 5 minutes distance by car. Populair Tenby is about a 30 minutes drive. Hosts are very friendly, the house is set up with everything you need. Absolutely fantastic!

It's a beautiful house in a great location overlooking the town. We had plenty of space and everything we needed as a group of five adults and two kids. We would be happy to stay there again.

We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay in this lovely, well cared for and immaculate bungalow. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts Graham and Mona and found it was a great location to explore Pembrokeshire from.

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!
