Lovely cottage with all modern comforts incl.uding dishwasher and smart TV. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
The cottage is recently built but in keeping with the period cottages and houses of King Street, Laugharne. Beautiful peaceful area with good shops and pubs and restaurants. Even has its own castle. Plenty to see; TV series "Keeping Faith" was filmed there and writer/poet Dylan Thomas lived there.

Location is brilliant. The place was very clean and had everything there we needed. Very nice family home.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

Accommodation was excellent big rooms plenty of space didn't get under each others feet 8 of us went thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet plenty of space to chill and unwind

The steep driveway and narrow lanes we walked a lot so coming back driveway was a struggle for the elder ones in the group could probably have done with a handrail along driveway wall but nothing really negative great property all round

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely cottage in Laugharne. The cottage is spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. We never tired of the view across to the castle. Laugharne is a peaceful village with a fascinating history. There is a selection of cafes and pubs and a convenience store close to the cottage. There are some lovely walks from the doorstep and lots to do a little further afield if you have a car to explore Tenby and beyond.

Footprints is a fantastic apartment in a great location, short walk downhill into Saundersfoot, which is a gorgeous town. Apartment is spacious and really well presented with so many extra lovely touches. Large comfy bed. Communication with Sarah was excellent. We would like to return snd would definitely stay there again and recommend to others

We loved our stay at Beudy at Pentrecelyn. The accomodations were comfortable and so beautiful. The barn has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate. The owners of the property, Colin and Nia, were very friendly and so helpful - we greatly appreciated the ride to the railway station. The farm is beautiful and private, but is a nice walk to town for shopping and dinner. We woud definitely stay here again.

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

So spacious and idyllic, a perfect home from home!
The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and lots of space. We cooked a lot during our stay and the kitchen had everything we needed. The dogs loved having such a big space to roam outside and the hot tub was also amazing especially on the days it was rainy!

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

It provides a good base for a relaxing stay . It is easy to explore other areas of Pembrokeshire from here.

Thank you for letting us stay at this amazing property. A beautiful and well equipped house perfect for relaxing family stays perfectly located and close to great restaurants, walks and all the amenities you'd need. The views are incredible. You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

My little family had the most enjoyable stay. Location was amazing, walking distance to the town, bars, restaurants, lovely walks and the beach. View from the apartment is what we will most remember, watching the waves and the people coming and going. Apartment was comfortable and clean, plenty of space for a family of 3. Photos don’t really do it justice. Would definitely return.

One of our favourite places to stay ever. Everything about it was wonderful. The dining room was our favourite. Although a family holiday, eating our evening meal in such a room, we felt we need to dress up, such was the grandeur :0)

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a place with full sized fridge freezer. The whole place was very clean. It is very remote. Only a few cars drive by during the day. Ideal spot for local walking. Had a great time at the local castle. The lawn was cut a few days into our stay which made enjoying the garden easier. Would definitely stay here again.

This is really a special cottage in an incredible and unique setting. The building itself is really well maintained and sits on a parcel that gives great vistas from all around. The view of the estuary never disappoints. And, the church ruins that sit near the corner of the property are a special site (sight?) to see. :-). The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive and is keen to make sure every guest has the best experience. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. Highly recommend!!

The bungalow was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was great for us that it is fully accessible as my disabled mother could visit.

This property is a great base for lots of beautiful Welsh places and only 10 mins drive from Carmarthen. Hot tub was lovely. I lay in it and looked at the stars.

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

The place itself is absolutely lovely, and they really have thought of everything and provided any tool or little thing you may not even have thought about! It’s so clean and smells lovely, the beds are also extremely comfy and soft. The location is beautiful and nice and quiet. Lots to do around it as well as being easy to get to places a bit further out. Hazel and Hugh are also so nice and welcoming.

Beudy Howel was a beautifully renovated property. It was light & airy and exceptionally well appointed. There was a thoughtful welcome package. Lots of easy to follow instructions and lists of restaurants & beaches. I would highly recommend staying here, it was lovely & quiet.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

A really lovely spot. A few minutes walk through the alleyways to shops and car parks. All the time checking out the amazing changing view over the harbour from high to low water and back again. My partner appreciated the lift with the luggage, but really, the stairs up 2 flights no bother.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! We loved our stay at the Boathouse, which was set in a quiet and beautiful location and within easy reach of most major attractions that we wanted to see (less than 30-45 mins away for pretty much everything). We had the pool to ourselves every time we used it, and it was great to be able to access it basically any time we wanted to. We had one minor issue with the water pressure one day but the hosts were great and fixed it in short order, so no complaints from us. We would definitely stay again next time we go to South Wales - rare find indeed.

Everything was perfect, fully stocked kitchen even down to tea coffee and sugar plus a welcome hamper! the games room was a great addition perfect for the kids! ..and us 😆. Hot tub was brilliant! would love to go back again!!

The whole place was fantastic, Hazel has thought of everything. From the welcome pack to the personal greeting nothing was too much trouble.

A wonderful stay! The house is cozy, the garden beautifully maintained, and the hot tub was a real highlight – especially in the evenings. Our kids loved the calves in the nearby field. As a family from Germany, we felt truly welcome and at home. Highly recommended!

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

This is a superior home from home and then some! It boasts fabulous accommodation for a family or without children.
There are the most amazing walks to be taken around the property with glorious countryside views.
And then there is the hydro-pool - what a luxury - great for relaxing ur power swimming.
The parking is next to the cottage.

Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Even on a wet February morning the views where worth the money.
The whole property was clean and very modern.
The village is very close with all amenities BUT please try Ty Glo....this eatery was one of the highlights.....a jewel that's hidden from sight.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!
