The cottage was as expected really cosy, clean and well equipped. Ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
We recommend it whole heartedly for a relaxing break for two..

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

Great stay at Sea Gem.
Ten minutes walk from the centre of Tenby, with a lovely garden / sea views. Good, well stocked kitchen meant we could comfortably cook for 6 most nights.

We had a great time at The Old School House. It's a well appointed, modern barn conversion with plenty of space both inside and out. The location is rural with easy access to A48 and local amenities.

The only negative point was the kitchen breakfast table didn’t really sit 4 comfortably and thought a dining table in the very large living room would have been nice. Other than that we had the best week and would definitely recommend to others. 5*

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

It was very nice stay for us (two couples), felt like living in a farm house — just what we wanted! Highly recommend this place for quiet unity with nature.

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Sunny Bank, an idyllic and private with every single thing you can imagine. We were provided with a full tea service and dinner set, basics for breakfast, bathrobes and towels for the stay as well as towels for the hot tub. I honestly think every possible amenity was thought about and provided. The cottage is on a family farm and you have complete privacy, esp in the hot tub which made the stay perfect for us.
The owners live down the road and when we told them the engine light had come on, on the car, and we needed to find a garage they came over and sorted the car, we needed oil but they also added screen wash and coolent and gave further advice. They went above and beyond.
You also don't have to worry about the hot tub, they come and treat it for you daily.
These are truly good people

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

Everything was as expected if not better. We enjoyed the views from the windows in all rooms and especially from the hot tub. The castle is lit up at night which adds a great background when relaxing in the bubbles. The open plan kitchen lounge and dining room layout of the house was ideal for us with kids. The house was lovely and clean and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. The Cottage, Laugharne.
The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

Sunnybank is a fantastic place to stay. A really well thought out bungalow in a really peaceful location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Place was very clean and clam. Hosts were very considerate and provided all the necessary items needed. Lot of books and games if you have some free time.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ve found it. This gem of a property is miles away from anything and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We spent 3 nights there and felt completely at home. With beautiful country walks literally from your doorstep, breathtaking views are only a few steps away!
Upon arrival, the property had everything you need, with a lovely welcome basket of goodies too. The wood burners are great too and kept the place toasty warm.
We stayed as a couple with our dog but the property will comfortably sleep 2 couples and has enough space that you’re not on top of each other either.
The hosts communicated effectively throughout the process and are thoroughly professional.

Absolutely beautiful holiday stay we went away for our anniversary and we loved it , 💕 amazing welcome, really comfortable modern and spotless. We loved the hot tub too , We’ve already booked again . Wonderful hosts and amazing views of the estuary and town, met loads of people laughnies ( from Laugharne ) everyone was really friendly.
We had a fab time , it’s really near to the square where there are pubs , restaurants and lovely walks. Great place to relax and chill 🧘‍♀️ plenty to do and see and we did it in style. 🙏🩷🐶

Very quiet, peaceful and private location. 5 mins drive to local village St Clears with shops, takeaways and pubs.
The swim spa and sauna was fantastic, just what everyone needed after a day of exploring the nearby areas, Tenby, Pembroke castle, Heatherton, etc.
Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we want to explore South Wales again.

We had a really lovely stay here perfect base for us with a young family. We visited Saundersfoot and Tenby mainly. It was great to have a washing machine after beach days!

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

The house was amazing we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My daughter loved the Jacuzzi, myself and my wife love cooking so the kitchen was without doubt perfect and as a family entertainment wise the TV was perfect to relax chill and enjoy a few Xmas movies. I would definitely be back again !

Having just returned home from a 3 night stay at Footprints apartment in Saundersfoot, we would highly recommend this to anyone. It was 5 star rating, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to the town and harbour. We are looking forward to staying there again in the foreseeable future.

What a fabulous property exceptionally clean and tidy, lovely kitchen diner with a fantastically equipped kitchen, lovely sized tv lounge and a separate small quiet room if needed. Bedrooms were amazing with super king and super comfortable beds and each bedroom had an on-suite. What a lovely comfortable place to stay. Easy access to the local store and pubs and Browns restaurant. The Dylan Thomas boat house was a ten minute walk. Easy drive on the coast road to other locations.

Such a great weekend. House was clean and comfortable with beautiful features and furnishings. Not to mention great artwork throughout. Location was idilic and had everything we needed for the perfect break away. Host was polite, friendly and communicative. Would certainly stay again and have already made plans to come back to the area.

The enclosed garden was great. Our dogs really enjoyed running around. Plenty of parking spaces. Room for 3 cars. The verandas were fab. Plenty of room on both verandas. The property was large enough for plenty of people and very cosy. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus.

The only downside was the little bit of road going to the property was quite bumpy and the cold water tap wasn’t working in the main bathroom shower but could be easily rectified.

Lloret is the best cottage we have stayed in! Had a really relaxing time in this peaceful place with unbelievable views of the estuary. it's a lovely part of the UK and the owners were really friendly.
Lloret has everything you need and the hot tub was fabulous with a great view. We will definitely come back here, in fact we could live permanently in this beautiful place.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings, very friendly hosts. Even the geese were friendly. My goddaughter fell in love with three little goats. The area is truly beautiful. The accommodation was excellent, just like in photos. Everything we needed was as there.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Lovely place, very spacious, clean, and impeccably styled. Our hosts were so gracious, sharing information with us when asked, fresh eggs from the farm chickens, and general conversation. The location was very peaceful and beautiful. As a bonus, we visited the farm goats everyday.

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

As a family of 6 with two you ger chikdren and two teenagers this has been the perfect holiday home for us. It's been spacious and comfortable for all. Its beautifully decorated and maintained and resourced to a very high standard. Communication throughout our stay has been amazing. We have loved morning coffee on the patio overlooking the views of the estuary and nights with the hot tub. Thank you so much for a lovely place home from home. Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! Such a comfortable and welcoming home in the most beautiful location. We felt right at home instantly and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area. It is relatively remote, so you do need a car and some things take a little while to get to, but it's worth it for the amazing peace and beauty of the location. Also the cottage is so well equipped and we got a Morrisons delivery the day we arrived, so not that remote! We can't wait to come back.

The place itself was amazing — located on top of a hill with breathtaking views. 🌅 You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes ⛱️, reach the shops downhill in around 7 minutes, and there’s even a cozy pub on the beach just a 15-minute walk away. Perfect balance of peace and convenience!

Our stay at Sunnybank was just perfect. The location was unbelievable, peaceful and quiet and the view of fields upon fields was incredible.
The hosts were brilliant, very informative, left us to it but made it clear if we needed anything at all not to hesitate to ask.
They had everything you can imagine there for you, the place was spotless and a gorgeous welcome hamper on arrival made our stay.
We did some beautiful local walks, and the hot tub was an absolute bonus. Especially at night with the clear skies.

What a fantastic place to stay, the Barn is beautifully styled, clean and homely. The location is great for short car rides to the beach, woods and shops. Loved seeing all the animals wondering around, hosts were so welcoming and even gave a basket of home grown vegetables!

The hot tub was lovely and clean. House was spotless. We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.
I would highly recommend this apartment.
