I've stayed in many places on the UK and this was by far the best weekend I've ever had. There's far too much to list that was good, it literally had everything and so much more!

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

The property was well equipped and very clean. The courtyard was perfect to sit in for an evening drink. The garden was beautiful and well kept. It was a perfect location to visit different places, and going to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely stay at this property, which is even cosier than it appears in photos. The radiators warmed up to heat the house very quickly during the cold weather.

Beds were really comfy, and we all slept beautifully!

It's a great base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Laugharne was a lovely town to return to in the evenings after long days out sightseeing.

Great Welsh escapes were really responsive and communicative to meet all our needs before and during the visit.

On street parking was challenging at times, but we're very used to this at home!

Property was excellent with the facilities and equipment as much as anyone could ask for.
All in all a wonderful weekend.

Location wise, you would be hard pushed to find a property to top this one. Fabulous views & easy walking distance to all that you need - beach, cafe, shops, restaurants etc. Parking is in public car park but we didn't use the car the whole time we were there so not an issue.

Upon arrival, our host surprised us with a lovely gesture for our anniversary ❤️. It truly set the tone for a wonderful stay.

The place itself was amazing — located on top of a hill with breathtaking views. 🌅 You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes ⛱️, reach the shops downhill in around 7 minutes, and there’s even a cozy pub on the beach just a 15-minute walk away. Perfect balance of peace and convenience!

The hosts were really nice and accommodating. when we had unplanned arrivals join us, at our request they got the neighbouring air B’n’B set up and ready for our guests straightaway so that they had their own space. Lovely place to stay, they’ve got really friendly goats just outside the decking area too!

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

It was well equipped with all the necessities, and when we did have a request it was dealt with promptly. It was single level and had a great laundry room.

the only criticism is there was inadequate storage for the suitcases in the bedroom.

Extremely well presented, thoughtfully set up with plenty of resources… the style and quality of this apartment made it feel like a real home from home - the best Booking.com residence we have stayed out to date… by far!

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

The property is lovely. It's well decorated with all the facilities you may need. There is a comfortable lounge/kitchen/dinning area downstairs and a large bedroom with ensuite upstairs. There is a lovely little courtyard outside, which was lovely to sit out in the evening (during the May bank holiday heat wave!). The house is located on the main street of the village and in easy walking distance to some excellent pubs and restaurants. We pre-booked reservations and were pleased that we did, as it was a busy weekend. There are some very pretty walks around the village which we enjoyed in the mornings. The house is located in a great area to visit the coastline in South and South/West Wales.

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. The cottage was exactly as described and well equipped. The parking is challenging though! We highly recommend Dexters at Brown's for Sunday lunch, but you must book as it is very popular. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and it is a short stroll to Dylan Thomas's Boathouse and the Castle.

The property and grounds surpassed all expectations. Everything was spotless, the amenities are fantastic, including the hottub with outstanding views. The grounds are perfect for an explorative toddler with a lot of energy.

A beautiful and comfortable flat with everything you could need. The flat is near the centre of Saundersfoot and has a beautiful view of the bay. It is very peaceful with easy access to the coast path for walks. I would be happy to stay here again.

The Cors is an absolute gem! The house itself is remarkable. Not only is it incredibly spacious, but it's also equipped with an array of amenities that made our stay truly exceptional. The interior is both child-friendly and adult-friendly, offering something for everyone.

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

Very well equipped and homely accommodation and immaculately clean. Rural spot for being in a town so private and quiet idea for families and local coastal towns sych as Tenby, Pendine, Saundersfoot & Laugharne are a stone's throw away. Very enjoyable. My only very slight grumble (but I can't complain as it is as advertised) is that there is only one bathroom/loo for 8 guests but it was not a problem..we were 2 families including 4 children of varying ages....that said we'd definitely return and would highly recommend it for acquiet base for exploring the area.

The fact it was dog friendly was a massive bonus for us and we all loved the nearby beaches and walks. Great cafe next door. Highly recommend.

We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

A great little place to stay, a couple of small inaccuracies in the ad but we had a great time, especially the children.

Place was very clean and clam. Hosts were very considerate and provided all the necessary items needed. Lot of books and games if you have some free time.
Overall we enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

We had a lovely family weekend at The Cors. The house was wonderful and everyone was very happy with their rooms and the communal spaces. This made for a very enjoyable time. The grounds were beautiful and wandering around was very peaceful. We used Laugharne as a base for exploring old haunts in West Wales but also spent some time revisiting the local area. Had a great Sunday lunch at Dexters, just a brief walk away. All in all a superb weekend.

My wife and I spend a very peaceful week here for a much-needed getaway. We loved the gothic features of this converted school house; it was unique and extremely comfortable. There is a beautifully appointed kitchen and we found everything we needed as we self-catered for at least half the time. For the two of us, the conservatory space was perfect for meals, and the comfy sofas in the lounge area were a delight. We had great weather, mostly, but even on the odd chilly days, the heating and hot water worked splendidly. We also appreciated the well-stocked library and little touches like tea and fresh ground coffee. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would love to stay at this special place again!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

We had a lovely stay at buendy, beautiful barn conversion with hot tub. Dog friendly which was a massive bonus, safe and secure garden area for them to roam around. Will definitely be back, lovely quiet location but not too far from Carmarthen town centre.

This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

Very spacious for the number of guests. It was a great location for a multi generation family trip. we didn't have great weather but nobody was bored. The house was stunning, the pictures don't do it justice.

we stayed at the property for our honeymoon and could not believe how beautiful and remote it was. the closest villages and towns are a 20 minute drive in any direction, the views are stunning and the space feels cozy and like home.

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

Sunnybank is the perfect holiday cottage for a break away with family. It is cosy and comfortable, with every last detail thought of by the friendly host Hazel. During our stay, the weather was atrocious, which I was actually delighted about because it meant we didn't leave the cottage all weekend! With board games, films, hot tub and time spent with family to keep us occupied there was really no need to leave the sanctuary that is Sunnybank on a gnarly November weekend. Thank you to Hazel for having us!

We had a brilliant stay! Such a beautiful peaceful place! We felt the pictures had not done it justice at all. The place was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was so lovely! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely large bedroom and bathroom, lounge smaller than expected but cosy and comfortable. Double glazing kept the room quiet. Lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed a Sunnybank beginning of October for ten days. Immediately when you walk in you can see that the cottage is so clean and fresh. Everything you need for a holiday is there, just like home from home. The hot tub (which is very private) is excellent and so it the games room. The owners were easily contactable if needed. We would highly recommend this cottage. Although we didn't require, the cottage is also ideal if there is a disability shower wise etc. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely stay, the house was amazing and the hamper a nice touch on arrival. Kids loved the hot tub! Only downside was the amount of flies. Peaceful location.

a calm and cosy place after long walks on the costal path. The house is a little bit covered the sound of the sea was barely to hear. The directions to the house are clearly described and it's very good signed, so or was no problem to find it. Yes a small car has advantages to get there.
we will surely return when doing holidays again in the region.

Amazing cottage. Jan and Ken were brilliant hosts, couldn’t do enough for you, went above and beyond expectations.
The cottage was well equipped and very clean, had everything you needed and then some.
Very quiet, peaceful and private location. 5 mins drive to local village St Clears with shops, takeaways and pubs.
The swim spa and sauna was fantastic, just what everyone needed after a day of exploring the nearby areas, Tenby, Pembroke castle, Heatherton, etc.
Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we want to explore South Wales again.

We had a lovely holiday in Saundersfoot, the house Ser Ar Y Bryn had all what we needed, a secure garden, ( for a dog) very comfortable beds hot shower and comfy furniture to relax of an evening, although the kitchen had everything you needed, we ate out most of the time, Saundersfoot was only a short walk( although quite a steep hill) we didn’t mind the hill . Communication with Ruth was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Thanks

We had a lovely time. Really liked the 2 lounges, when I got fed up of the Mrs I used the other lounge and could watch what I wanted on the TV. The double bed was quite firm which wasn’t to our liking. There were a few general maintenance and cleanliness issues but these didn’t affect our stay. The location was stunning and peaceful, we saw more tractors than cars 😀 Hazel visited us on the first evening to make sure we were all settled and gave us some good recommendations. We really enjoyed stargazing while sat in the hot tub and the visits every morning from the farm cat. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could want and need as well as some basic items in the cupboards (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, spices etc)

This is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. Great Welsh escapes were super helpful and great at communicating if we needed anything while we were there. There was so much space in the house. We stayed with 3 children aged 3, 5 and 6 and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and play in. Lovely location for walking into Laugharne and a great base for visiting Tenby, Folly Farm etc. Would highly recommend.

My sister and her family stayed here over Christmas so they could be close to the rest of the family. It was absolutely perfect. Walking distance into St Clears and close to amenities. The facilities were great with everything thought of for a comfortable stay. Lovely cosy log burners and traditional features added to the atmosphere in the
house. They would definitely stay in Cartrefle again.

A fantastic stay - beautiful surroundings and an incredible view from the sunroom. The wooden benches in the garden were perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or a drink at the end of the day.

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

We loved staying at Drefach! The beautiful massive garden with the hot tub was the highlight of our holiday. We also enjoyed the spacious house that was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
