We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

Our second time at a Great Welsh Escape’s property. Had a lovely time in a beautiful recently refurbished barn.

Our dog also loved the enclosed garden that wrapped around the property.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

Looking forward to future breaks.

As a family of 6 with two you ger chikdren and two teenagers this has been the perfect holiday home for us. It's been spacious and comfortable for all. Its beautifully decorated and maintained and resourced to a very high standard. Communication throughout our stay has been amazing. We have loved morning coffee on the patio overlooking the views of the estuary and nights with the hot tub. Thank you so much for a lovely place home from home. Very thankful we chose here over other places.

This is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. Great Welsh escapes were super helpful and great at communicating if we needed anything while we were there. There was so much space in the house. We stayed with 3 children aged 3, 5 and 6 and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and play in. Lovely location for walking into Laugharne and a great base for visiting Tenby, Folly Farm etc. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful. Fabulous kitchen and outdoor space. Very comfy beds and excellent showers.
My only slight criticism is the lounge sitting area isn’t very comfy. Thankfully we were only 2 people but would have struggled with 4/6.

Very central location, just a few metres from both beaches and the harbour. Clean and tidy accommodation, nicely decorated. Tenby was lovely, with some quirky alleys and independent bars and shops.
Just be aware of parking logistics (top of the hill in a multi storey) and pedestrianised roads during the day. We had a great time!

Would happily stay here again. Hugh and Hazel were fantastic hosts and the house has everything you can imagine - every little thing is thought of - the house is easily accessible and is so peaceful - the hot tub in the garden is an amazing addition and completed the stay for us. We loved it and will be back.

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

Location and the property was very nice and we liked the courtyard area the garden was very pretty.

The road outside the house was very busy, we come frome a quiet location and we did notice the traffic coming past.

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
Hosts are just the best so treat this place with respect.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings, very friendly hosts. Even the geese were friendly. My goddaughter fell in love with three little goats. The area is truly beautiful. The accommodation was excellent, just like in photos. Everything we needed was as there.

This property is a great base for lots of beautiful Welsh places and only 10 mins drive from Carmarthen. Hot tub was lovely. I lay in it and looked at the stars.

Very well equipped, comfortable and the washing machine and dishwasher was a bonus. Everything was so clean and in good condition! The view were great and it was so peaceful sat out on the decking have your morning coffee looking out onto the sea!

It’s not really I didn’t like but was disappointed the fairy lights didn’t work on the balcony, would have been nice to sit out on an evening with them on. Also the double bedroom could have done with more storage. The small wardrobes wasn’t enough for 2 adults.

A wonderful stay! The house is cozy, the garden beautifully maintained, and the hot tub was a real highlight – especially in the evenings. Our kids loved the calves in the nearby field. As a family from Germany, we felt truly welcome and at home. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at this lovely holiday bungalow. Well thought out space, clean and perfectly located for all that Laugharne (& beyond) has to offer. Thanks to Great Welsh Escapes for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. Such a peaceful and tranquil place in beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the castle grounds to explore them but far enough away to be in your own space with no one else around.
The house was lovely, full of character, very comfortable and had all we needed. Set in its own woodland to explore and we woke to birdsong, lambs and other livestock in nearby fields. We got the Rayburn range going pretty easily and used it to cook several meals as well as adding some warmth after the sun went down.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Only 10 minutes from Carew Castle which we visited on Sunday morning followed by a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn opposite.

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

Everything was really lovely & felt just like home from home.we really didn't want to leave.

We soon settled in & felt very relaxed the whole time. The beds were very comfy & all slept very well. The bathroom/ensuite were lovely & showers excellent. We never got bored of looking at the view. The location was perfect to walk into Tenby centre.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It is in a great location to explore this part of Wales. There is so much to see and do. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a relaxing stay.

We just spent 7 days at Beudy Howel. The property was warm, clean and very welcoming. Easter eggs for the children and welcome basket was a great start! Soft towels, warm underfloor heating and comfortable beds. Plenty of wood for the fires (inside and out). Great place to have young children as outside is gated and fence panelled so they can be free range :-) Full sized fridge freezer meant we could stock up nicely. Great Welsh Escapes have been incredible at communicating with us (even over Easter weekend) and Nia who was our local point of contact is lovely. Already planning when next to visit.

Everything about this property is great. Hosts are very warm and takes guest's comfort very seriously. We were welcomed with Easter treats and a delicious welsh cake. The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. Utterly wow from the first month you pull on onto a rather steep driveway.Everything is of such good quality.Kitchen so well stocked to wonder shower & bathroom.The TV for none technical ladies was a challenge but eventually got there.The hot tub view we just didn't want to get out.Beds are so comfy & a goodnight sleep was had by us all.If you don't want to cook they definitely had a good range of place's to eat & drink.We will definitely be coming back just stunning

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. The area is fab with lots of good places to eat and some good local walks.

A very nice comfy house, clean with nice bedding and comfortable beds.
My only criticism is that there is no handrail on the upper part of the stairs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and we need a rail to hold on to.

We had a lovely stay in Pendine, the apartment was clean and well kept plus the view over the beach was amazing. Only 15 mins walk to the local amenities and 20min drive to Saundersfoot and 25 mins to Tenby. Would definitely recommend!

It was better than expected. Tendy as seaside town has many things to and the beaches are breath takingly beautiful. Definitely recommended 5 stars

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

An absolutely fantastic, well thought out home that caters for all your needs. Every room has been so carefully crafted, providing all you could possibly need, exactly where you need it. The bedrooms with en-suite were spacious, including a huge master bedroom with a huge en-suite, very impressive. The kitchen was a joy to work in with so much utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, pots and pans galore. Outside was a large hot tub where you could relax and enjoy the splendid scenery, boats, water, a castle, quite incredible. Worth every penny and more.

We had a lovely stay at buendy, beautiful barn conversion with hot tub. Dog friendly which was a massive bonus, safe and secure garden area for them to roam around. Will definitely be back, lovely quiet location but not too far from Carmarthen town centre.

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

We always love coming to Lloret and our dogs make good use of all the nearby beaches. The hot tub is well maintained and it’s a joy to use it. It’s a great base to reach Pembrokeshire and Laugharne is a little gem

Middlelands is a high quality place to stay and 10-25 mins to all the finest of Pembroke's beaches (therefore some of the most beautiful in the world). Plenty of space for my party and our dog. Amenities are as described with excellent cooking facilities. The owner, Ros, lives nearby and accessible so you are not dealing with a faceless agent. Highly recommended.

Fabulous staycation! Perfect for our family and dogs, loved the apartment, the balcony was huge which gave our dogs a bit of freedom. Couldn't fault it for our requirements.

This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.

Great accommodation for a family getaway. Clean, friendly and fabulous location as easy to get to the town centre and Tenby, Manorbier etc .
We felt really safe and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
The beds were sooooo comfy too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Very spacious and clean. Had great facilities and everything we needed. Location was nice and not far from main town. Walks along the beach to the castle were peaceful and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery and village. Very quiet and relaxing.

The cottage was in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants, castle and Dylan's boat house. The facilities in the cottage were good. It was a nice touch to have a welcome pack on arrival.

My partner is tall and we did struggle with the double bed, would have liked a king-size, however we were fully aware of this when booking.

The location is fantastic with access to great restaurants!

The shower was either freezing or boiling! Just could not get it at right temperature but did not detract from our enjoyment of the cittsge!

We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

We went over Christmas for a relaxing break and had a wonderful time. The cottage is close to Dylan Thomas's Boathouse and great pubs. The estuary is beautiful and the locals very friendly. Would definitely love to go back. Thanks

Stayed in Great Welsh Escapes for two days and had a lovely time. The owner would message regularly asking if everything’s okay and the farm owner Richard on site was very helpful.

We absolutely loved our 6 day stay here. Felt right at home immediately. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and all the wildlife that visits is so wonderful. There's birds of all kinds. We saw Canada geese swoop in everyday and the Greylag geese had their little chicks swimming with them from the island. There's bats that come zipping right past your face if you stand outside at dusk. It's so peaceful and picturesque. There's so much to do, we didn't even get around to visiting Carmarthen! We would love to come back in the future

We had a great first experience of Pembrokeshire whilst staying here.
The bungalow was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed opening the large bifolds and watching the sunset.
The location was great and allowed us to explore the local beaches and further afield. We were very lucky with the weather!
Our only recommendations would be to review the quality of cooking utensils. We had to buy a bread knife as the one provided was blunt. I would also suggest some better quality pillows in the master bedroom. We had two pillows in 1 pillowcase case which was uncomfortable.
Besides the couple of recommendations, we had a great stay and would recommend!

Lovely apartment in the middle of Laugharne. Perfect for a short break exploring the area.
The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and perfect accommodation for my wife and I plus our young toddler. Comms and instructions from our host were great, with lots of clear info on the place and the surrounding area.

Only small negative was the instructions on bins/ recycling and how to dispose of it was not fully clear

Lovely bungalow, peaceful. Fantastic views. Great location to go site seeing. All close by. Kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Spacious . The veranda was lovely with comfortable chairs to sit out and chill.

Lovely home bedrooms all good sizes. Very comfortable beds. Great house to stay in nice and clean and handy to park on the drive. Garden was fab for the dog. Great stay

No handrail on the stairs. Not a problem for the younger members of our group but 1 was an 88 year old who just needed help with the stairs. Would be great if one could be put up but wouldn’t stop us from staying again

From start to finish Great Welsh Escapes were quick to respond and ensure we had the best stay. They added to the overall enjoyed of the break. Will use them again.

This house is even more beautiful than the pictures, we had a wonderful stay.
The bedrooms are all stunning and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms for a big group, with one on every floor. The house is very spacious and even with 10 people we didn’t feel as if we were on top of each other, as there are plenty of areas to relax in.
There are several great pubs within walking distance (closest is a 2 minute walk) and the general surroundings are stunning, with a great view from the house. Short drive from lots of great walks and beaches as well.
We would love to stay again if we’re in the vicinity. Highly recommend.

As a big family it was a perfect place to be all together. There was plenty of space for us all and the views were beautiful!
