We liked that the owners had clearly thought of everything. There was so much to hand, equipment wise and lots of home comforts. We took our own tea and coffee for instance but there was a great selection already there also plenty of condimentswhich we didn't expect. Footsteps is a very clean and modern apartment but still felt cosy. The bed was very comfortable and noticed when stripping the bed a think mattress topper was in place. Bliss! There is a lovely view of the sea from the living/ kitchen area. The location is perfect too, just a short downhill walk into Saundersfoot and about a forty minute walk into Tenby. We sat and watched TV one night and it felt like being at home.

Very easy instructions to follow to access the property and welcomed by the host Richard who as very welcoming . It was the most tranquil property, with beautiful views . So quiet and cosy. We had everything we needed and it was so nice to switch off and fully relax . With a very busy life , we just needed to have space and time, we had amazing use of the pool and sauna and loved the jacuzzi bath ! We didn’t want to leave a review as worried it will get booked up :) it was perfect

It would have been nice to cuddle a cow on the farm , maybe next time

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Middlelands in August (5 adults, 3 kids) The house has large living spaces, was immaculate, and tastefully decorated. Kitchen very well equipped. The location is rural but within 15-30 mins drive of many activities and beaches, great for families. Communication from Great Welsh Escapes was excellent. I hope we will return!

Had a lovely stay, the team at Great Welsh Escapes were always there and proactive in reaching out. They also messaged to check we had found everything OK.

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Would very much recommend this cottage as a beautiful, relaxing base for the area. A home from home.

What a fantastic stay we had at Dyffryn Taf! The area is so quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect escape. The house was immaculate—clean, tidy, and well-presented—and fully equipped with everything our family needed. My kids and I had a truly wonderful time.

Upon arrival, our host surprised us with a lovely gesture for our anniversary ❤️. It truly set the tone for a wonderful stay.

The place itself was amazing — located on top of a hill with breathtaking views. 🌅 You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes ⛱️, reach the shops downhill in around 7 minutes, and there’s even a cozy pub on the beach just a 15-minute walk away. Perfect balance of peace and convenience!

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

We had a great time in Tenby, house was very clean, within walking distance to all amenities. Host was very responsive and we will definitely come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Gwalia House. Everything was just as described. Very comfortable beds, kitchen very well equipped and the house was beautifully furnished throughout. Very good communication from the agent. There is plenty to do nearby - particular highlight was Barafundle Bay area - there is a stunning circular walk which takes about 3 hours starting from Bosherton Lily Ponds. We also had a delicious supper across the road at Dexters - but you need to book well in advance. All in all - highly recommended!

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

The house was warm and cosy on arrival. It literally has everything you need and a bit more to enjoy a fabulous stay!

We found the beds really comfy, enjoyed the living room and kitchen areas as this allowed us all to gather in one space (6 of us). Our group also really enjoyed the hot tub too! We loved all the little details that had been put into the home, it really was a great experience!

Would highly recommend a stay here. Beautiful views and lots of opportunities for star gazing in the evenings.

Absolutely wonderful little place. A true gem. Loved all the vintage furniture, a lovely aesthetic throughout. All the comforts and conveniences you could want. And the view... Well that's just one in a million.

The whole place was fantastic, Hazel has thought of everything. From the welcome pack to the personal greeting nothing was too much trouble.
The grandchildren had a great weekend and the hot tub and games room were the cherry on top.

Location is outstanding, views amazing. Bungalow 5 star. Hosts were just lovely, made sure we had everything we needed. Including ideas for places to go. A break out of this world.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

What a fantastic place to stay, the Barn is beautifully styled, clean and homely. The location is great for short car rides to the beach, woods and shops. Loved seeing all the animals wondering around, hosts were so welcoming and even gave a basket of home grown vegetables!

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

Sunrise Super View , Hot Tub

We had a fantastic staycation experience!

Firstly, the good view we experienced was stunning, especially we witnessed a sunrise you had never seen before. The fact that i am specially mentioning it as it left a strong impression on me .

Additionally, the facility good amenities, including a spacious and clean home and a hot tub. These types of features can make all the difference in creating a relaxing and enjoyable staycation experience.

Overall, it was very positive and happy time we spent with family.
Thanks again as this stay will remain in our and my 6 year old girl memories forever.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Took elderly parents for 5 day break. Location was spot on. To look out at laugharne castle and the estuary through the living room window was awesome and watching the mist rolling up the estuary in the early morning. House was so well equipped, everything you could need. Would definitely go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Brofallen week.
The bungalows position is first class giving extremely beautiful views. Simply put in total it's a must come back situation. If there is a down side it would appear the time goes quicker staying here..

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

Enormous house with very private garden and lovely pool. Close to pubs/restaurants and beautiful walks right out of the front door. I’ve never had a bathroom like it. Great for family holidays and plenty of activities nearby. We will definitely return.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

The place was spotless, very spacious & loads of entertainment. Very well thought through by the hosts, had everything you needed. also loved the heated flooring and hot tub.

We, a family of four and a dog had a wonderful time at Brofallen. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything that you could possibly need. It was in such a relaxing quiet spot with amazing views. You do need a car to appreciate the places all around, but there are lots of scenic places to visit that are good for kids and dogs. It was a lovely holiday had by all.

We had a wonderful stay at Wildhaven. The cottage is beautifully situated with incredible views. The cottage itself is exceptionally well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Very dog-friendly. t's a perfect base for exploring the Black Mountains. We highly recommend it.

Lovely relaxing few days , everything that we needed . Only disappointment - I wish Id booked longer ! It was Mabel's (our 5 month old cockerpoo) first holiday and she had a safe enclosed patio to play in , and it was a short drive to new experiences on the beach! Would definitely book again :)

We had a really good time! Hazel was very friendly and very helpful with the local recommendations! The place was very clean, smells nice, and comfortable. The area was also very quaint with a lot of nature (+working farm) sound -- a very nice vibe to have while being in the hot tub under the stars. Definitely recommend the place. We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

Apartment clean enough and well equipped. Lovely balcony and views. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The guest book is great and has all the details you need. Hosts were friendly and responsive when recommending places for food.
Not much to do around the location but easy enough to get into Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Luckily no one was staying in the apartment above us but I didn’t see a mention of this when booking. Car park space right outside which is good and then an overflow car park for any extra cars.

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!

The house is well kept and laid out with a modern downstairs kitchen, living room and bathroom. Upstairs the floors have a camber in places showing the age of the original building but the bedrooms are equally nice. We stayed for three days and were very happy with our choice.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Sunny Bank, an idyllic and private with every single thing you can imagine. We were provided with a full tea service and dinner set, basics for breakfast, bathrobes and towels for the stay as well as towels for the hot tub. I honestly think every possible amenity was thought about and provided. The cottage is on a family farm and you have complete privacy, esp in the hot tub which made the stay perfect for us.
The owners live down the road and when we told them the engine light had come on, on the car, and we needed to find a garage they came over and sorted the car, we needed oil but they also added screen wash and coolent and gave further advice. They went above and beyond.
You also don't have to worry about the hot tub, they come and treat it for you daily.
These are truly good people

What a lovely house. The living room was very spacious, light and airy thanks to the double aspect windows and huge front window with view over the local area.
There was so much space, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Very quiet and close enough to the town to walk.

Fabulous house, comfy beds, well equipped, generous and attentive host (who even left a lovely basket of foods for our arrival). But the Cors is more than all of this - from the amazing garden to the heron that kept appearing and hanging out to the many crows in the trees - this place is magical

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

What a fantastic place and an amazing base to explore Pembrokeshire. We arrived in the most wonderful grounds of Upton Castle and were welcomed by our friendly hosts who gave us all the necessary information to make our stay easy. The grounds are picturesque and the house is quiet and peaceful. There is everything you need and nothing you don’t, so don’t expect ultra-fast broadband but do expect wonderful nights by the fire roasting marshmallows, playing games, and doing things ‘offline’. Within 15/20 mins you have amazing beaches like Barafundle and Coppet Hall, towns such as Tenby and Narberth, castles, shops, National Trust sites, and nature. A little further afield you have St Davids, Fishguard, Cardigan, and Scomer Island but all very accessible from this great location. Our whole family thought the 10 day break was amazing and we are itching to get back.

We found the kitchen well equipped and spacious and the lounge cosy in the evenings. Beds were comfy and we used all 3 bedrooms. The location is good with easy access to walking paths. Laugharne was quieter than we had anticipated for early July and not all businesses were open, e.g. the fish and chip shop was open at lunchtime but closed in the evening. As other reviewers have commented, we did not find it possible to park in the street near the house during our stay. We used the washing machine and an outdoor washing line would have been useful.
There is a garden/outside space but we didn’t use it as we didn’t have great weather.
Great Welsh Escapes were easy to contact and helpful. We would happily book via them again if we were to revisit Wales.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and the towels and linen were very high quality. The bedroom is a lovely size and the open plan kitchen/lounge is just perfect for a few days’ R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed. The rainfall shower was a wonderful addition.
The cottage is on a main road which was a little noisy at times but only because we’re not used to traffic. There is only a double bed as well which, again, we’re not used to but everything else was just perfect.

As a big family it was a perfect place to be all together. There was plenty of space for us all and the views were beautiful!

Everything about this property is great. Hosts are very warm and takes guest's comfort very seriously. We were welcomed with Easter treats and a delicious welsh cake. The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

The property and grounds surpassed all expectations. Everything was spotless, the amenities are fantastic, including the hottub with outstanding views. The grounds are perfect for an explorative toddler with a lot of energy.
We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back soon!
Great escapes were fantastic with communication prior to and during our stay and we would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Everything was really lovely & felt just like home from home.we really didn't want to leave.

We soon settled in & felt very relaxed the whole time. The beds were very comfy & all slept very well. The bathroom/ensuite were lovely & showers excellent. We never got bored of looking at the view. The location was perfect to walk into Tenby centre.

I would highly recommend Sea Gem to friends & family.
