Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

What a fantastic place and an amazing base to explore Pembrokeshire. We arrived in the most wonderful grounds of Upton Castle and were welcomed by our friendly hosts who gave us all the necessary information to make our stay easy. The grounds are picturesque and the house is quiet and peaceful. There is everything you need and nothing you don’t, so don’t expect ultra-fast broadband but do expect wonderful nights by the fire roasting marshmallows, playing games, and doing things ‘offline’. Within 15/20 mins you have amazing beaches like Barafundle and Coppet Hall, towns such as Tenby and Narberth, castles, shops, National Trust sites, and nature. A little further afield you have St Davids, Fishguard, Cardigan, and Scomer Island but all very accessible from this great location. Our whole family thought the 10 day break was amazing and we are itching to get back.

Wow what a place !! Totally remote ! Beautiful scenery , a secure garden for the dog (sheep next door) I walked the perimeter to make sure dog was secure which he was . You can only find the property by what3words. I was very impressed that Asda delivered the shopping which meant no supermarket visits, which are miles away. The cottage is warm and cosy ,it felt very homely , wonderful views from the living room , watching an ever changing weather across the hills all in front of a log fire. Would 100% visit again and recommend it if you like to get away from the rat race. The red kites were entertaining and regularly flew close to the cottage. The ponies are gorgeous. The sheep numerous !!!! There are lots of walks without using the car.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

We booked the place for our staff and it was just what they needed. Nice and clean.

The best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The house was incredible, it had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The gardens were beautiful. We had 4 young children and a dog in our party and so had to keep a really close eye on them as the garden wasn’t fully enclosed and had a couple of ponds. This wasn’t a problem for us at all but other guests may be interested to know about this. Jac was a great host, he responded to messages very quickly and gave us lots of tips about the area etc. The location is great, the village is lovely and a short drive to beautiful beaches. We are looking forward to going back!

The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a lovely stay. The garden is large and secure, so we didn’t have to worry about our dog escaping, and it was great to have a heated swimming pool.

A beautiful house with breathtaking views. Plenty of room, nice upgrades, and in a fantastic location. Only a 2 minute walk to town but perfectly peaceful.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

The Cors is really a very special place in the fabulous town of Laugharne. Close to two very good pubs, an excellent Thai restaurant and a good Deli. What makes the holiday is the house with its fabulous grounds. Clean ,well equipped, very generous welcome pack and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. Less than 10 min drive to stubby freshwater west beaches and within 30 minutes of tonnes of activities and days out. Place was spotless, well stocked and very spacious. Communication was speedy and friendly. Would recommend.

This is a lovely cottage in the grounds of a castle. A real escape from the modern world. A perfect place to holiday with our 8-month old daughter. We had early morning walks in the castle grounds and cozy evenings in with the fires lit. Internet was only capable of handling messages, but that added to the experience in our opinion. A few cobwebs could be cleared up, but otherwise clean and the beds were very comfy.

Lovely welcome pack include prosecco nice after a 5 hour drive. The accommodation is perfectly presented in every room. Thanks so much Ann and Ian.

No handrail on the stairs. Not a problem for the younger members of our group but 1 was an 88 year old who just needed help with the stairs. Would be great if one could be put up but wouldn’t stop us from staying again

An absolutely fantastic, well thought out home that caters for all your needs. Every room has been so carefully crafted, providing all you could possibly need, exactly where you need it. The bedrooms with en-suite were spacious, including a huge master bedroom with a huge en-suite, very impressive. The kitchen was a joy to work in with so much utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, pots and pans galore. Outside was a large hot tub where you could relax and enjoy the splendid scenery, boats, water, a castle, quite incredible. Worth every penny and more.

The house and gardens are huge and really well equipped. Plenty for everyone of all ages to do and see.
Lots of places to sit in the garden and inside.

Only downsides:
Blinds on the windows do not stop the sunlight streaming in
Garden is not totally enclosed so adventurous dogs cannot be left unattended

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful little place. A true gem. Loved all the vintage furniture, a lovely aesthetic throughout. All the comforts and conveniences you could want. And the view... Well that's just one in a million.

A beautiful and well equipped house perfect for relaxing family stays perfectly located and close to great restaurants, walks and all the amenities you'd need. The views are incredible. You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Enormous house with very private garden and lovely pool. Close to pubs/restaurants and beautiful walks right out of the front door. I’ve never had a bathroom like it. Great for family holidays and plenty of activities nearby. We will definitely return.

We were in Laugharne for five nights in May and enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is great: right across from the castle, with a café next door and a convenience store just around the corner.
The view from the living room was my highlight - perfect for castle enthusiasts! Lots of walking trails around and the area is full of birds!
It was helpful having two showers, and the small garden was a nice spot to sit out during warm evenings. The internet connection was reliable, even when two of us had to work remotely. The hosts were quick to respond and gave clear instructions.
We'd stay here again if we are in the area.

The cottage was lovely and had everything we could possibly have needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed using the barbecue and outdoor seating. The location was good with lots to do close by. Just perfect!

The shower was either freezing or boiling! Just could not get it at right temperature but did not detract from our enjoyment of the cittsge!

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

A wonderful cottage which was beautifully furnished with everything you should need for a relaxing break away . Beds were so comfortable and was great that both bedrooms had en-suites . Lovely big house for a family holiday. Plenty of space for everyone, with a very well appointed kitchen. Laugharne was an easy walk with lots to see and places to eat. A great location for exploring.

We loved staying at Drefach! The beautiful massive garden with the hot tub was the highlight of our holiday. We also enjoyed the spacious house that was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The views of the harbour from the bay window are absolutely stunning and there is plenty going on in the sea to keep you entertained. We only wish we'd thought to bring binoculars! The apartment is very comfortable with great beds and both a shower and bath and the location is close to all amenities. There is a large lift. In the summer you can only drop off luggage after 5.30 pm due to traffic restrictions.

Ideally 4th double or single room would have been useful.
We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

The staff at Great Welsh Escapes were excellent. Good communication from booking until check out. They even provided links to find info on appliance use, places to visit and eat, ect.

Nice, fully enclosed courtyard garden which our dogs made full use of. The surrounding countryside and beach is perfect The owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Stayed at footsteps in saundersfoot, wonderful place. Spotless and very well equipped. Great location, easy walking distance to saundersfoot harbour and the coastal path

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

great open space. ideal for the grand kids to run around and play both indoors and outside in the gardens. it was great to have great grand parents, grand parents, parents, kids and the dog in one place. great family atmosphere and get together.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

We had a wonderful stay at Coedllys Cottage from 25th–27th August 2025. The cottage is delightfully, spotlessly clean, and set in a stunning countryside location with fantastic walking straight from the door. The swim spa and sauna were a real highlight and perfect for relaxing tired muscles after long walks. It’s also ideally located for easy access to beautiful scenic beaches and towns. The cottage is very well equipped and provided everything we needed for a peaceful, comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming, making the whole stay effortless. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.
I would highly recommend this apartment.

What a wonderful location! The garden is stunning it gives a wow factor before you have even stepped in! Well maintained. Inside was immaculate and held everything you could need for a stay. Kids toys, welcome hamper everything was just amazing and clean. I've stayed in alot of places now and this is think ranks #1. If you truly want peace and quiet apart from the odd tractor or cow. Could litteraly hear a pin drop outside in the evening! We all really loved this place! Playing mini golf on the grass until sunset! Honestly have made some unbelievable memories and cant thank you enough

We had a fantastic week in Laugharne at Gwalia House. The accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean and exactly as described and was perfectly located to enjoy all the Laugharne and the surrounding area has to offer. Laugharne itself is gorgeous and such a friendly place, we especially liked Poon over the road! The hosts (Great Welsh Escape) were very communicative and even responded to questions on bank holiday! We loved Gwalia House and definitely hope to be back.

This house was perfect for our needs. Daughter, son in law & grandchildren (age 2 & 3) slept downstairs and the rest of us were upstairs. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. Two living room areas which were well equipped. Kitchen also had plenty of space and all that was needed for our stay. We appreciated the car parking space rather than parking on the street as the village is quite narrow in places. We didn’t use the log burner as the house was lovely and warm & there was always lots of hot water.
We would definitely recommend this house & would book again. Booking with Welsh Escapes was easy and communication excellent.

Very nice cosy accommodation quiet and has its own yard to sit out very comfortable, there is a bar a few minutes walk away very handy.

This is really a special cottage in an incredible and unique setting. The building itself is really well maintained and sits on a parcel that gives great vistas from all around. The view of the estuary never disappoints. And, the church ruins that sit near the corner of the property are a special site (sight?) to see. :-). The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive and is keen to make sure every guest has the best experience. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. Highly recommend!!

It was a perfect house to welcome our family. Everything was perfect - even better than the photos. The house is truly special, like stepping back in time, but with all the mod cons. Everyone loved it.
The host kindly kept the pool heating on, even at end of October, so that was special for the kids.

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. Very relaxing to sit in the lounge and look out to see. Loved walking down into the centre but also made some day trips further into Pembrokeshire. Will miss the sound of the owls hooting at night. As a family of 6 with two you ger chikdren and two teenagers this has been the perfect holiday home for us. It's been spacious and comfortable for all. Its beautifully decorated and maintained and resourced to a very high standard. Communication throughout our stay has been amazing. We have loved morning coffee on the patio overlooking the views of the estuary and nights with the hot tub. Thank you so much for a lovely place home from home. Very thankful we chose here over other places.

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.

Great spacious property, with all mod cons required. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable beds. Walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

The amazing views, of the Harbour and North beach, from the bay windows is what makes this property so special. Great location, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen!

A beautifully appointed, comfortable home to stay in. Stunning views and everything you need nearby. We stayed in November and enjoyed some snow. The dogs loved the beach at Pendine.

It was a lovely bungalow. Everything which was needed to feel at home was present. All of the things for use were very high quality 👌. There was also a gift pack for us. Bottle of Milk Juice and wine was also given.
Amazing location. Hot tub was so perfect. Good size and also very private.
Hazel and the family were very helpful and generous throughout our stay. Willing to go out of the way for their guests.
We had a great time and my daughter also left a review in their diary. She is 9 and wouldn't want to leave the bungalow.

A view to die for.......

Moderne, zentrale Wohnung mit Lift im Haus. Grosse Küche mit sehr guter Einrichtung mit Waschmaschine-Trockner, bequemes Sofa, 2 saubere grosse Badezimmer, mit Heizung für kalte Tage.
Sehr helle Wohnung mit Wohnzimmer gegen den Hafen mit super Aussicht auf das Hafenbecken. Schlafzimmer hinten raus sind zwar hell haben aber keine Aussicht (Sicht auf Nachbargebäude).
Wohnung ist direkt am Hafen im Zentrum an einer kleinen Strasse. Keine Parkmöglichkeit aber schnell ausladen geht. Parkplatz z.B. am Bahnhof in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar.
Für uns war das eine super Wohnung in der es auch an einem Regentag nicht so schnell langweilig wird.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Lovely place to stay in a small village that’s easy to commute to the coast. Conveniently located next to a very nice hotel. The property was nicely furnished we had a great stay
