A fantastic property, very clean and comfortable and in a great location

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

It was a good place, we had a good time and the owner was very communicative and very helpful.
We had issues with wifi not working during our stay, looks like it was an BT issue (BT were called and attended but couldn't rectify the issue). Which did rob us off some quality time in the evenings.
If not everything was really good.

La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

Ideal place to spend a week with the family. The Cors has very impressive gardens and a peaceful location with uniquely styled rooms. An excellent location for walks , pubs, castle & Dylan's Boathouse.

My little family and I had a wonderful 5-nights stay in Pendine. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need! Despite the weather being absolutely awful for 4 out of the 5 days, we still had a fab time :) views are unbelievable looking out over the seafront, highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes :)

I cannot big this properly up enough, the hosts left a lovely welcome basket which was a very lovely and personal touch, Hazel made us feel welcome on arrival and checked everything was okay for us. The property was very cosy and extremely clean, there was robs and towels left for us to use for the hot tub, anything you could think of that you would have needed or wanted was at the property. The property is located in a private area which was amazing for the evenings, however there was an abundance of things for us to do and see through the days just a short drive from the property. There was plenty of restaurants around a ten minute drive away to choose from too. We loved the properly so much we booked an extra nights stay which was so easy to do through the sight. We have already highly recommend the property to friends and family and would surely book the property in the future.

A wonderful and beautiful home, with a very cost and relaxing feel. It is great for wanting to get away from the buzz of people with a fantastic beach less than 5 mins away. Very well presented and a great place to stay. Enjoy, we did!!

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

We felt at home. It was really cosy and the views were serene. The maps and the leaflets helped us to find the good spots to visit. My children and parents loved the space. We will be definitely back again.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely big house for a family holiday. Plenty of space for everyone, with a very well appointed kitchen. Laugharne was an easy walk with lots to see and places to eat. A great location for exploring.

We stayed for 3 nights here as an extended family. Welcome pack on arrival - House had everything we needed as a large group (10). Games facilities were amazing - all in a self contained area and hot tub put to good use overlooking beautiful Welsh scenery.

Many, many thanks to Hazel and Hugh for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. We genuinely couldn't have asked for me - thank you for sharing your beautiful corner of the world with us.

We had an absolutely amazing couple of days, the house was spotless and had everything we needed, the grounds are gorgeous and the views were breathtaking, it was so peaceful. We had a lovely stay at buendy, beautiful barn conversion with hot tub. Dog friendly which was a massive bonus, safe and secure garden area for them to roam around. Will definitely be back, lovely quiet location but not too far from Carmarthen town centre.

The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

Holly and the team made us feel very welcomed. The coach house was a great base in the area with a lovely outlook from the garden for our family and two dogs. Easy access to the main road as well to get to the local beaches.

We had a wonderful stay. This cozy flat is warm, clean and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and just love the big fridge/freezer, excellent for our long stay. The wifi works well. We had a minor issue in the bathroom and it quickly fixed. The town Laugharne is lovely and welcoming and I only wish we can stay for longer.

Laugharne is a fascinating little town with historical sites and beautiful walks, easily accessible for other attractions. The. castle is well worth a visit as well as the boathouse.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Very spacious and clean. Had great facilities and everything we needed. Location was nice and not far from main town. Walks along the beach to the castle were peaceful and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery and village. Very quiet and relaxing.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a place with full sized fridge freezer. The whole place was very clean. It is very remote. Only a few cars drive by during the day. Ideal spot for local walking. Had a great time at the local castle. The lawn was cut a few days into our stay which made enjoying the garden easier. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

We had a really lovely stay here perfect base for us with a young family. We visited Saundersfoot and Tenby mainly. It was great to have a washing machine after beach days!

Had a great weeks stay at The Old School, it’s a very unique stay full of character. You can eat at the grand dining area or the cozy conservatory. Well equipped and comfortable. It’s in a great location, a few miles from Pendine Beach.. and a great restaurant ‘Dexters’ at Laugharne, for a first class meal! Half an hour to Tenby Beach and 20 mins to Carmarthen.
Definitely worth booking a holiday at this fabulous accommodation.

Absolutely fabulous apartment, clean and tidy, very high spec. Everything you need at hand. We were blessed with hot weather. Short walk from Pendine beach. Fabulous views of coastline.

The views of the castle and estuary were amazing and we never tired of looking at them from the lounge! The village is beautiful with pubs and restaurants within a short walk. There were always people around providing a nice atmosphere without being busy with a few useful shops, but not spoilt with seaside souvenir ones. Sitting on a bench in the grass area by the castle and estuary, with an ice cream from the van in the car park can’t be beaten!!

Not one thing I can complain about

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. We had such a lovely stay here and we would love to come back. Ros got back to us very quickly if we had any questions and kindly let us check out later. She was a brilliant host.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

An Airbnb that was actually better than the photos! We absolutely loved our stay here and were gobsmacked by how beautiful the place was. We felt like absolute kings/queens!
The place was very neat and tidy considering how big it is to clean. Lots of ammenities and activities to keep you busy inside or outside and walking distance to plenty of nice places close by.
The hosts were also very generous and allowed us to check out slightly later even on short notice.
Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

Beautiful house and location! Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions. Lots of things to do in the area and perfectly situated between the Brecon Beacons and pembrokshire. Only small thing I would say was that there was no tea bags, coffee was limited, no olive oil - Little things like this would make life much easier and don’t cost a lot! Other than this great stay and would stay again. Thanks so much :)

We all hade a great time in Laugharne, it was great to get away from the busy life we all have.

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
Hosts are just the best so treat this place with respect.

Absolutely beautiful place and has everything that you could ever want or need for your stay. Walkable distance from the beach or the centre of town but also peacefully quiet. Great view of the sea and the sunrise. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again.
