We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. We had such a lovely stay here and we would love to come back. Ros got back to us very quickly if we had any questions and kindly let us check out later. She was a brilliant host.

Setting, comfort, decor, memorable touches (books, games, nightlight) particularly for the children, kindness of the owners, inclusion of key supplies in the kitchen and bathroom, clarity of information and communications, lack of road noise.

There was nothing we did not like.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

This property is ideally located next to the grocery shop, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. Especially marvelous was the the view of the massive castle and relics across from the property and dusk light reflecting off the castle walls that we could see from upstairs windows. The locals were very friendly and happy to fill us in on curiously spelt Welsh place names and local information. The property was exceptionally well presented and clean with car parking right out the front

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

Interior aesthetic was stunning also, the home has clearly been thoughtfully designed- the kitchen being a particular family favourite!

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. All the facilities at the property were in excellent condition. Beds very comfortable. Lovely views. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

Lovely little house, beautifully decorated and equipped and everything was good quality. Log burner was wonderful to come home to after long windy walks in the beautiful local area.

We enjoyed 4 peaceful days and night here and it was just what we needed, we cooked, enjoyed the fireplaces and sat and enjoyed the quiet both in the day, where you can look out across the valley, but also at night where stargazing was hugely enjoyable. We went on some short trips to enjoy castles and walked locally. A calm, tranquil break that is recommended for those seek a rest from their busy lives. wonderful.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

A beautifully appointed, comfortable home to stay in. Stunning views and everything you need nearby. We stayed in November and enjoyed some snow. The dogs loved the beach at Pendine.

It was a lovely bungalow. Everything which was needed to feel at home was present. All of the things for use were very high quality 👌. There was also a gift pack for us. Bottle of Milk Juice and wine was also given.
Amazing location. Hot tub was so perfect. Good size and also very private.
Hazel and the family were very helpful and generous throughout our stay. Willing to go out of the way for their guests.
We had a great time and my daughter also left a review in their diary. She is 9 and wouldn't want to leave the bungalow.

We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

It’s a beautiful home and the location is very peaceful perfect for evening walks….Only downside is the parking issue as the street is quite a busy street.

The cottage was completely immaculate, making us feel like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Walking through into the kitchen, we were greeted with delicious Welsh goodies in a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome-hamper, (including milk and juice in the fridge for the all-important post-travelling cuppa), and this pretty much set the tone for the perfect break-away!
From the super-comfy beds, which induced us all to lie-in of a morning, to the fabulous hot-tub with breathtaking views, which allowed us quality re-connecting time as a family with two teenagers, Sunnybank Cottage was perfect for a relaxing break as a family. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a well equipped, extremely comfortable apartment look no further. Nestled high up on the side of a hill it offers wonderful views of the sea and countryside. The apartment has everything you need and more so you don’t have to compromise on the way you spend your holiday. We cooked in a lot which was easy because of the the way the kitchen was equipped - there was nothing missing.

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

Hazel could not of been anymore hospitable could she of tried. We had a stunning welcome pack and then Hazel went above and beyond with some eggs and after she spent a morning strawberry picking she even shared what she had gathered with us. The location is remote but perfect. Stunning bungalow with amazing and tranquil views from every window and the most well equipped air BnB I have ever stayed in. Honestly we did not want for anything. From a bbq, fans, torches, shower items, robes, towels - you name it. And the hot tub just topped it off!!
We struggled to get in touch with Welsh Escapes for check in info.
But please rest assured, Hazels place is well worth the money and Hazel is super friendly and super helpful. And the communication initially is with Welsh Escapes and not Hazel directly.

Gwalia House was absolutely exceptional. Beautifully decorated inside and accommodated our young family perfectly. So much space for the little ones and luxury comfort for the adults. We would not hesitate to book again.

I recently stayed at this beautiful holiday apartment in Saundersfoot & I can honestly say it was perfect in every way. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped — everything I needed was provided and more. The attention to detail really stood out.
The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to explore the shops and bars and nearby coastal walks. Communication with the host was seamless — they were friendly, helpful, and clearly take great pride in making their guests feel welcome.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but this apartment truly did. I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in this part of Wales!

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It is in a great location to explore this part of Wales. There is so much to see and do. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a relaxing stay.

We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

The private pool and sauna was amazing.

The house was lovely, even nicer than the photos. Finish of the house was great, kitchen well equipped and the outside areas were excellent. The driveway was long but no problem, even the Sainsbury delivery driver coped without issue. There isn’t much that can be accessed by foot but this was made clear on the map. We stayed with four children and the house easily accommodated us, all the games and welcome cake were nice touches.

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, immaculately presented and everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The location was perfect for touring South West Wales. The hosts were fabulous, offering us tips for places to visit and leaving us beautiful Welsh Cakes to welcome us. A fabulous restaurant 5 minutes walk away, offering delicious food. We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

Great location with lots of history and very friendly people everywhere we went.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

The boathouse is a lovely little escape with complete peace, along with being close to local towns and beaches. The place is as described and as you see in the photos. The private pool and sauna is such a nice addition too, which our son loved. Our dogs were so excited by the lake and cows, and wanted to always been outside in the enclosed area.
Great Welsh Escapes sent through clear instructions before hand, and proactively messaged me on day 1 to ensure I had everything I needed. This was a nice touch!
Richard, the owner and farmer, was super welcoming and made an effort to come out when we arrived to show us around personally. When we had a small issue I text Richard and he walked down almost immediately to help. He also spent a little while answering all my silly questions about dairy farming and his cows!!
We certainly plan to go back in the future and stay again :)

Beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. Less than 10 min drive to stubby freshwater west beaches and within 30 minutes of tonnes of activities and days out. Place was spotless, well stocked and very spacious. Communication was speedy and friendly. Would recommend.

Brofallen is a gorgeous place to hang out with friends and family. The view from the sun room is worth spending a few hours looking at. The house is well stocked, well decorated and very comfortable to be in.

We were blown away with the views, absolutely lovely. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, clean and had everything we needed, and more. Great location for exploring the local area, Tenby and Saundersfoot not being too far to drive to. The Pendine Sands great for a day on the beach.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

We had a really good time! Hazel was very friendly and very helpful with the local recommendations! The place was very clean, smells nice, and comfortable. The area was also very quaint with a lot of nature (+working farm) sound -- a very nice vibe to have while being in the hot tub under the stars. Definitely recommend the place. We really enjoyed our stay in Tenby, the property was great and really roomy. We would definitely return. The only negative I would say is the camera in the back garden, it felt a little intrusive when you're trying to relax.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

We visited with 2 children aged 10 and 12. All had a brilliant time visiting the local beaches and just enjoying the lovely cottage.

We had days out in Tenby and Pendine, as well as a beautiful walk down to Amroth beach. The house is welcoming and felt like home straight away, the hosts left us some lovely tea, coffee and other items as a nice surprise when we arrived. We had everything we needed for our stay, and we’re able to pop out to the local co op for food and drink during the week, about a 10 minute drive away.

Fantastic break at Brofallen and none of us wanted to leave!!

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

Thank you so much AWEL TAF, my kids are literally gutted we are leaving today, the most comfortable house, everywhere was sparkling, very neat and well arranged, oh the shower is absolutely great. We had a pleasant long weekend here. The house is lovely, especially the kitchen and dining room. The beds were also super comfy which was nice. The only minor improvements would be that the sofa needed a good clean and there was a broken chair in the dining room. Other than that, our stay was lovely and we would definitely stay again. Location was great, only being a 10 minute walk down to the beach.
