York Lodge is an amazing house which was beautifully presented and in immaculate condition.
Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

The Old School was exactly as described. It is a lovely location, ideal for walkers.

Sunrise Super View , Hot Tub

We had a fantastic staycation experience!

Firstly, the good view we experienced was stunning, especially we witnessed a sunrise you had never seen before. The fact that i am specially mentioning it as it left a strong impression on me .

Additionally, the facility good amenities, including a spacious and clean home and a hot tub. These types of features can make all the difference in creating a relaxing and enjoyable staycation experience.

Overall, it was very positive and happy time we spent with family.
Thanks again as this stay will remain in our and my 6 year old girl memories forever.

The staff at Great Welsh Escapes were excellent. Good communication from booking until check out. They even provided links to find info on appliance use, places to visit and eat, ect.

Lovely stay at the Old Oak Barn. Charlotte is a great host, very welcoming and would highly recommend staying here for a chilled break!

We had a wonderful stay. This cozy flat is warm, clean and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and just love the big fridge/freezer, excellent for our long stay. The wifi works well. We had a minor issue in the bathroom and it quickly fixed. The town Laugharne is lovely and welcoming and I only wish we can stay for longer.

Had a very lovely mini break at Cliff Haven. Flat was very clean, comfortable, warm and cosy, with a fabulous view of the sea and located very close to the beach. Thank you .

Beautiful little property in the centre of Laugharne - perfect for a couple! There’s a few pubs, The Three Mariners being the best in our opinion. Not so many places close by to eat in the evening (not all the pubs do food in the evening) but the property is well equipped for cooking. Dexter’s steak restaurant at Browns Hotel is fantastic & worth a try!
Good location for visits to Tenby, Stackpole & the Pembrokeshire coast in general - lots of things to do/see/walk within an hour’s drive.
Parking wasn’t really an issue - it’s on the road outside the property. Managed to parked straight outside every day apart from one when we parked outside Browns Hotel.
Communication with the host, Jacs, was excellent - very helpful & friendly.
Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in this area!

Initially awkward to find, the parking space was very narrow, toilet roll holder in awkward position.

The cottage was in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants, castle and Dylan's boat house. The facilities in the cottage were good. It was a nice touch to have a welcome pack on arrival.

My partner is tall and we did struggle with the double bed, would have liked a king-size, however we were fully aware of this when booking.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Myself, my daughter, husband and dog have all enjoyed a much overdue weekend break away in Laugharne in this beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and though the house was stunning. The location is super convenient to all the amenities in town, including a lovely costal walk for the dog. The tv room with large couch was absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evenings at home whilst our baby slept upstairs. The outdoor area was such a treat during this amazing weather we have experienced. The bbq was perfect too. Great House is a unique and an amazing experience. Having an understanding of such a building the owner has lavished attention to detail beyond expectation. Must be seen to be believed.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Brofallen- the beautiful decor and gorgeous plants really made it feel like home from home only better! The view from the garden and conservatory is stunning- it was such a treat to start our day looking out to the distant sea, drinking the local, small batch roasted coffee left as part of the welcome pack. We had a couple of questions which were promptly and kindly responded to. We found the house very thoughtfully equipped and we cooked, played some of the games and used some DVDs and books as well. For most dogs the garden is very nicely enclosed and a great place to explore. For our rescued Serbian street dog, he did find a way out towards the neighbour's garden even though we were supervising him. We would definitely like to return- the house feels like a relaxing retreat.

Amazing and beautiful grand old house... renovated to a very high standard with fabulous bathrooms and beautiful furniture, ornaments and paintings throughout. The village of Laugharne is lovely, with lots of Interesting shops, an estuary to explore and an old castle.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

Had a great weekend at Jac’s place. Two families together ranging from age 7- 74. The house is lovely and spacious so plenty of room to cater for everyone. We had some rain, it didn’t matter though, whilst some were playing pool in the games room, others were playing board games in the dining room, which left the cinema room for playing on the Nintendo switch or watching tv. We made the most of the dry weather and had a couple walks into Laugharne. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The garden is huge and would be wonderful during summer I’m sure.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Gwalia House was simply perfect. Beautifully decorated and with everything you need.
The house has a comforting feel with the most restful beds and rooms where the light floods in.
I’m the evenings, games and books to entertain.
Laugharne was quant, quirky, friendly, and full of history.
Make sure to visit the 3 Mariners, Poons, the Deli and Choices gift shop.

Location, need a car, 4/5 mile drive to most areas, shopping, pubs its very rural

Truly amazing place to stay which makes you feel like Lord and Lady of the Manor and a garden befitting a stately home, but eclectic and personal too. Full of art, but expect a few rough edges as you'd expect from a period property.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

We had a lovely stay at this property, which is even cosier than it appears in photos. The radiators warmed up to heat the house very quickly during the cold weather.

Beds were really comfy, and we all slept beautifully!

It's a great base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Laugharne was a lovely town to return to in the evenings after long days out sightseeing.

Great Welsh escapes were really responsive and communicative to meet all our needs before and during the visit.

On street parking was challenging at times, but we're very used to this at home!

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

Location allows trips to Pembrokshire / Brecon Beacons / Gower in around ~1h one-way - we found it very convenient.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

The house was like a home from home, no feel of a holiday house at all. Everything was of a high standard in the house like you would expect in your own home. The location was a peaceful place although it was between two working farms, which was lovely as the only noise was from the cattle in the morning before they were milked, very cute really. Beaches and coastal walks very amazing.

We were blown away with the views, absolutely lovely. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, clean and had everything we needed, and more. Great location for exploring the local area, Tenby and Saundersfoot not being too far to drive to. The Pendine Sands great for a day on the beach.

This is an excellent property, superbly located for all the local facilities and three minutes walk to Browns Hotel with the excellent Dexters Steak House and the simply superb Poons Thai restaurant. The cottage has newly fitted high quality fixtures and fittings and clearly the owners wish to provide a great experience for clients. It is well located and has all the facilities listed although I would point out that whilst the rear garden is certainly secure for pets it is made up of a shale base and a raised bark covered bed that is quite steep.
The communication both with GWE and the owners was excellent with a couple of issues addresses with great speed and efficiency. Thank you.

Great House is a lovely place to stay.It is old and quirky and really big so everyone has loads of space and their own (Website hidden by Airbnb) stocked modern kitchen,lovely raised patio for Al fresco dining and of course the heated pool.On the main Street so handy for the local deli and convenience store We also booked some big shops from Tesco .(Put a sign out for them to find you).

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

We loved everything about the barn and chaffhouse and the children are wanting us to buy a barn of our own. The barn is perfect and the area is stunning. We've been staycationing in Croyde for years and moving forward we have decided to make this our new staycation venue. Very Impressed. Comfortably accommodated our family - Mum, Dad and 4 children, 6, 4, 2 and 5 months.

What an incredible, well maintained home with amazing views and only a short drive to beautiful landscapes and castles! We absolutely loved our stay. Great place to get away and amazing spot for kids (no stairs for little ones to get hurt on), with ample toys and a magical sunroom that overlooks insane views. The house is a bit further down the road than GPS said, so keep that in mind when arriving. Would love to come back one day!

Our stay at Chapel View in Laugharne, Carmarthen was excellent. The cottage is ideal for two and decorated in modern style and comfort. It is well located in the centre of the upper town and is secure and quiet thanks to double glazing. We really enjoyed Laugharne and the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The dogs particularly enjoyed watching the ducks on the lake and the robot lawnmower!

Lovely farmhouse located in wonderful and peaceful location in the Brecon Beacons. Great surroundings and view. It has a nice big garden that is good to relax in and watch the sun set on an evening. It is very quiet and peaceful that is perfect to get away from it all.
Very comfortable furniture to relax in. Nice and functional kitchen with great electric cooker that is easy to use and gets the job done.
Had a few house spiders inside but that is to be expected with the location in the countryside and they were easily removed and put back into nature.

Overall, really nice stay and would go back and stay again.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Great value for money and ideal facilities for a big group (we had 7 but ample room for several more) including comfortable rooms, bar, pool table & the cinema room is an amazing space! I’d thoroughly recommend this venue and the company who were very responsive throughout our stay, making everything hassle free.

The venue is also very well placed to discover Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We managed to do some outdoor activities such as climbing & archery at nearby Pendine as well as taking in the coastal path between Saundersfoot & Tenby which was just 25 mins drive away.

We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

One of our favourite places to stay ever. Everything about it was wonderful. The dining room was our favourite. Although a family holiday, eating our evening meal in such a room, we felt we need to dress up, such was the grandeur :0)

Charlotte is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The barn is wonderful and a lovely peaceful place to relax. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended! We’ll look forward to visiting again.

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

A fabulous property, full of character. Spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. In centre of Laugharne so great for exploring the town. Welcome gifts on arrival much appreciated. Great Welsh Escapes were helpful and quick to respond to our queries, we would be happy to use them again.

Lack of parking at property could have been an issue but we had no problems parking in the small, nearby carpark.

Located among rolling fields, with free-roaming sheep and winding mountain roads, Wildhaven offers complete tranquility from everyday living - quiet nights save the sound of local wildlife: unpolluted night skies to gaze upon the stars; and plenty of hikes, trails, forests, and mountains to enjoy all no further than an hour’s drive away.

Coupled with its charming features and modern comforts, and superb, communicative hosts, it had everything we needed for a perfect trip away from it all.

(FYI stores and amenities are likely further away than you’ll be used to (especially during lockdown, nearest supermarket is about 25-30 min drive), and WiFi and phone signal really is intermittent and poor around Wildhaven. Come prepared for a digital detox!)

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.

Stayed for 7 nights as two families of 3 with young children. Property was excellent, good size and very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

York Lodge is an amazing house which was beautifully presented and in immaculate condition.
Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.

What a lovely cottage! We enjoyed our holiday week in the Sea Gem in Tenby very very much. In this house we instantly felt like home. The place leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We enjoyed the garden having BBQ, practiced yoga and were delighted by the beautiful sea view. The location is so close to the town centre that everything is walkable and it‘s a very convenient starting point exploring Pembrokeshire. We‘d love to come back.

Chapel View is a lovely, clean cottage in a really convenient spot in Laugharne. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved this place! Spotlessly clean and very homely - lots of lovely soft furnishings. Kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms comfy and the hot tub was fantastic. Kids loved playing outside on their scooters. The view is beautiful and it’s nice and quiet. Def recommend.

The property at Frogmore was immaculate and everything seemed new. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Frogmore and Laugharne.

The property is over 3 floors and offered loads of space for a group of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and we were able to travel by car to a number of local attractions. We will probably book again in the future.

A wonderful, grand, lovely home. Sprawling yet cozy with wonderful details, creaking, undulating amazing wood floors, big window, period furniture…on and on. Really a treat. The pool is a nice option which we enjoyed often as we visited during quite a warm time. Enjoyed nightly dinners on the lovely top terrace. Property is exactly as it is described on the site.

We had a lovely weekend in Saundersfoot, and found the property within walking distance of everything we wanted, though the hill was a bit tough but good for us!
The house was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The beds were especially comfortable, I slept so well!

It was better than expected. Tendy as seaside town has many things to and the beaches are breath takingly beautiful. Definitely recommended 5 stars

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. All the facilities at the property were in excellent condition. Beds very comfortable. Lovely views. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, spotless home ,in a great location for the best tourist destinations(about 20 mins from Tenby).Dont let the price put you off, its well worth the money. The attention to detail is amazing ,from the power shower (downstairs) to the top quality bedding ,and there is EVERYTHING you need. Only here for 3 nights, but wished we had booked for longer.......
