I've stayed in many places on the UK and this was by far the best weekend I've ever had. There's far too much to list that was good, it literally had everything and so much more!

There's absolutely nothing I could say that I didn't like about this accommodation.

We needed a retreat for a family get together before returning to work and university. Laugharne was a perfect location and Fernhill House was the perfect home. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you.

From booking the property for our holiday to checking out today everything has been superb. All messages and enquiries were responded to promptly and courteously. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and we were able to explore the length and breadth of south west Wales. The facilities at the property were five star. Couldn't fault anything. Bendigedig!

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, immaculately presented and everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The location was perfect for touring South West Wales. The hosts were fabulous, offering us tips for places to visit and leaving us beautiful Welsh Cakes to welcome us. A fabulous restaurant 5 minutes walk away, offering delicious food. Saundersfoot and surrounding areas are beautiful. This flat is the perfect base for making the most of it with its sea view and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will gladly return to this location.

The location was superb, overlooking a lake with wildfowl. Being on a farm at the end of a track, it was private and quiet. Having sole use of a large indoor heated pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortably furnished. There were shops in nearby St Clears with long opening hours, even on Sunday. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The steps down to the property were steep.

We loved staying at Drefach! The beautiful massive garden with the hot tub was the highlight of our holiday. We also enjoyed the spacious house that was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

A lovely home in a nice village close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and costal walks. We really enjoyed the home and will be back again. A visit to the castle with the kids is also great fun. Would highly recommend.

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

Beautiful bungalow with hot tub. We felt like at home. Everything is there what you really need. There is big bungalow with lots of rooms to explore and outside just straight the hot tub and shed with playroom. Lots things to do around and visit places and restaurants. We got welcome basket with sweets and wine plus welcome and thank you card which was very nice cute and nice to see. For us was everything perfect really and in the future we plan back here. But only one thing was too much for us that in every room and even living room and kitchen there been air refreshments in plugs working all day and night which can be sometimes over powerful specially if you want cook food and the perfumes fragrance from is mixing with your cooking smell. Otherwise everything was nice and cosy. Thank you.

More than we expected. Decorated for Christmas and a lovely hamper. The view was beautiful and forever changing. The peace and tranquility. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

It was a such lovely stay. The beds were very soft and towels provided were really clean! The house situated in a such peaceful and scenic location, and it’s a good distance to the town centre and the nearest beach. A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.
Would not hesitate to return and great value.

Absolutely fabulous apartment, clean and tidy, very high spec. Everything you need at hand. We were blessed with hot weather. Short walk from Pendine beach. Fabulous views of coastline.

My only comment is to take care on the local roads as some become impassable without warning.

Beautiful. Fabulous kitchen and outdoor space. Very comfy beds and excellent showers.
My only slight criticism is the lounge sitting area isn’t very comfy. Thankfully we were only 2 people but would have struggled with 4/6.

We loved our stay! It was in a great location for exploring the local area. There is so much to see and do. We had a great break!
We had plenty of space and the accomodation has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The shower and bath were brilliant and the beds were very comfy!

An amazing property in a very quiet, rural setting. The property is spacious, quaint and very much an older character style house with an amazing, large garden. We took a croquet set and had plenty of space for that. Our small dog had her own 'holiday' in the garden. The house is well equipped, plenty of hot water, beds are comfy, bedlinen is fresh and good quality. Plenty of towels and also soap in every bathroom/sink. The house is not immediately near shops but its not too far to the nearest Co-op or Tesco at Pembroke Dock. The host is very helpful and responsive.

We enjoyed staying at the bungalow in Pendine and using it as a base to visit the surrounding attractions and beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Mona and Graham were excellent hosts. The property was perfect for our needs very clean and homely, modern inside set in beautifully kept grounds and garden, quiet and relaxing.

Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

The house is in a stunning location on a hill looking out. Inside it is warm, comfortable, well decorated with good quality furnishings and amenities. Highly recommend it as a place to hang out with friends and family.

Stayed at this place a number of times while working in the area. I've worked away from home for nearly 10 years and this is by far one of the best I've stayed. From the warm welcome from Richard. To the attention to detail the place has. It isn't like a holiday let. More like a home for the week.

Lovely place looked just as it did on the photos. Great location but very steep hill to walk back up after you have been down to the beach all worth it though for the great views
Local recommendations though stay away from the chip shop at the Park dean resort , overpriced and bloody nasty . Great restraint for Sunday lunch was the Amarth Arms 10 mins drive

Perfectly equipped apartment, tastefully decorated throughout with great views. Kitchen had everything we needed (though no cafetierre/French press). Very relaxing to sit in the lounge and look out to see. Loved walking down into the centre but also made some day trips further into Pembrokeshire. Will miss the sound of the owls hooting at night. Would love to book again.

The location is picture-perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring all the stunning area had to offer.

We had a lovely family weekend at The Cors. The house was wonderful and everyone was very happy with their rooms and the communal spaces. This made for a very enjoyable time. The grounds were beautiful and wandering around was very peaceful. We used Laugharne as a base for exploring old haunts in West Wales but also spent some time revisiting the local area. Had a great Sunday lunch at Dexters, just a brief walk away. All in all a superb weekend.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and perfect place. The photos on here don't and probably can't do the place justice. I planned to checkout early but i couldn't bring myself to leave!

It was a lovely bungalow. Everything which was needed to feel at home was present. All of the things for use were very high quality 👌. There was also a gift pack for us. Bottle of Milk Juice and wine was also given.
Amazing location. Hot tub was so perfect. Good size and also very private.
Hazel and the family were very helpful and generous throughout our stay. Willing to go out of the way for their guests.
We had a great time and my daughter also left a review in their diary. She is 9 and wouldn't want to leave the bungalow.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

Nothing it’s just lovely

The house had everything you needed. The doors opened up to the garden and we enjoyed the sunshine and the quiet location.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

Our second time at a Great Welsh Escape’s property. Had a lovely time in a beautiful recently refurbished barn.

Our dog also loved the enclosed garden that wrapped around the property.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

Looking forward to future breaks.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

I stayed at the syr ar y bryn with my partner and 2 daughters for a short break for my partners birthday.
The property was very cosy and well equipped. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Great space in a good location - especially if walking the coast path. Some care is required negotiating the upstairs bedroom spaces as head height is very limited.

Fantastic location, really quiet and peaceful but also not too far away from supermarkets, beaches, coastal walks and tourist attractions.
We loved walking through the woods down to the creek every day to see what was new (lots of autumn colours and fungi in our case). We don't normally visit the same place twice but in this case we are already planning the next trip!

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

This was an excellent house to stay in. Everything was very comfortable and was exactly like the pictures. We used it as a base to visit plenty of castles and go for walks around Carmarthenshire. As others have mentioned, taller people may hit the light fixture at the corner of the bed. Otherwise though, we would highly recommend it.

We had the best stay at Wildhaven. It is totally private with a great enclosed garden. The walks from the doorstep were stunning, you could spend a week there and not have to go out in the car! We loved seeing the sheep on the hills, as well as the birds of prey and hares. The cottage is incredibly comfortable and clean, we really didn’t want to leave! It’s a great place to stay whether you’re alone, a couple, a family or with your dog. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday!

What a beautiful cottage, in gorgeous surroundings. The cottage itself is exactly like the photos - spotless clean and so comfortable & cosy. Everything you might need is available in the kitchen and throughtout the property. The cottage is in a remote area, on a farm, so is extremely peaceful and relaxed. Paula, the owner of the property lives close by and is a lady! She gave great recommendations of places to visit. Overall a lovely trip away from home.

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
Hosts are just the best so treat this place with respect.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

Die Wohnung liegt zentral. Der Ausblick ist phänomenal. Die Küche ist spartanisch ausgestattet. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung etwas leer. Man hat das Gefühl das das was nicht da ist auch nicht gestohlen werden kann. Fernseher ist allerdings perfekt. Internet gut.

The bungalow is in a beautiful location with stunning views of Laugharne. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable short break. The bungalow was immaculate inside and the addition of a hot tub was a real luxury.

The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was amazing and fully furnished which was great for families to get together. The house was very secluded and private but you need a car as nothing really walking distance that is open in February.

I recently stayed at this beautiful holiday apartment in Saundersfoot & I can honestly say it was perfect in every way. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped — everything I needed was provided and more. The attention to detail really stood out.
The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to explore the shops and bars and nearby coastal walks. Communication with the host was seamless — they were friendly, helpful, and clearly take great pride in making their guests feel welcome.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but this apartment truly did. I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in this part of Wales!

The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again in the future.

We had a great time. A lot of internal space, well equipped kitchen, a great den/TV room which was very popular with our teenagers and spacious bedrooms. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating options to catch the sun during the day. A private setting and very peaceful.
Just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs, Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. A short drive to the vast Pendine beach. EV charger was very convenient - not many public options in the area.
Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was very well equipped. Every small detail/need had been thought of. It was very comfortable & homely. Parking & security entrance was good. Sarah the host was excellent in checking everything was ok when we arrived. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped & the lighting was perfect & like home from home. Cannot recommend highs enough

There was nothing to dislike

We came back today stayed 5 nights over Christmas. Myself, wife and our golden doodle Alfie. Views are amazing short 5 mins drive to Laugharne and 10 minutes to pendine. Super private and we were not bothered at all during our stay.
Super cosy and our dog loved wandering in the private garden.
Will be back, beautiful place and we all slept well.

Great location with so many things to do all around. 15 minutes to the loveliest beaches. The local people were so friendly, found a great Butcher and bakery just up the road. We cooked all our meals at the cottage and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable stay. Thank you!

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

Our family really enjoyed the peaceful setting. the cottage is perfectly set up. we had everything we needed. The swimming was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place for you.

Lovely relaxing few days , everything that we needed . Only disappointment - I wish Id booked longer ! It was Mabel's (our 5 month old cockerpoo) first holiday and she had a safe enclosed patio to play in , and it was a short drive to new experiences on the beach! Would definitely book again :)

The house is well kept and laid out with a modern downstairs kitchen, living room and bathroom. Upstairs the floors have a camber in places showing the age of the original building but the bedrooms are equally nice. We stayed for three days and were very happy with our choice.

We had a much needed, relaxing week in Tenby in some really sunny April weather. The flat's location is very central and has a great view of the harbour. We had all of the amenities we needed and would consider returning to Tenby again!

We enjoyed our short stay at Sunnybank. The accommodation is very homely & has everything you could need. Lovely hamper & card was left for our arrival 🥰 so thoughtful! Very friendly host & fabulous hot tub with views. We loved an evening soak - stargazing 🌟🤩

the perfect half term holiday break for me, my wife, our 13 year old and dog. Matt, the host, couldn't have been more responsive, or helpful. The property itself was idyllic, matched only by the breathtaking countryside. Scenic beach walks less than half an hour's drive away. A swimming pool and sauna less than half a minute's stroll away. We are now back in London and already want to return....

Everything about this property is great and very good service from the Great Welsh Escapes, Good location to explore south/west of wales. Nice village. Kids enjoyed the stay at this house.For sure will book this property next time.

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

Great holiday for me, my mother and two teenagers. Very comfortable house, beds were amazingly comfortable and everything was of a high standard. Very well equipped kitchen with extras like a coffee machine. We like to walk and I love cold water swimming so to come back to a cosy and warm house was fantastic. So much to do in the local area.
