Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

AMAZING! The bungalow had everything we needed and more! Views were beautiful from every window, we could have sat for hours just looking! The bungalow was spotlessly clean. beds really comfortable, nice, much appreciated welcoming gifts and the hot tub was great to relaxing in the evening. we found all the neighbours really friendly and all had time to chat and tell us places to visit. would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

Fantastic weekend away the accommodation was amazing with plenty of room. The location was ideal great restaurants in the area highly recommend milk wood house and there were also some lovely walks.

We had the best week at The Cors. We had everything we needed to hand. The house was perfect, the space and gardens were ideal. The communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We loved visiting the nearby beaches and little village. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great weeks stay at The Old School, it’s a very unique stay full of character. You can eat at the grand dining area or the cozy conservatory. Well equipped and comfortable. It’s in a great location, a few miles from Pendine Beach.. and a great restaurant ‘Dexters’ at Laugharne, for a first class meal! Half an hour to Tenby Beach and 20 mins to Carmarthen.
Definitely worth booking a holiday at this fabulous accommodation.

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.
I would highly recommend this apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Very spacious and clean. Had great facilities and everything we needed. Location was nice and not far from main town. Walks along the beach to the castle were peaceful and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery and village. Very quiet and relaxing.

Wow, what a wonderful view, we loved everything about this place. It’s location is so peaceful yet walkable into the village and easy to get to the Castle. We liked the modern, clean and clutter free style, with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. We only had a short 3 night break but would have loved to stay longer, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for the gift of Welsh shortbread, a nice touch, but do note, there was only one dishwasher tab, one tea towel, no kitchen towel or foil and no basics like salt and pepper, so make sure you bring your own!

Wow! What a beautiful property. We really enjoyed it with our extended family. 3 nights of good quality family time. Everything we needed was at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked and was a pleasure to cook in. Rooms were a great size and beds were comfortable. The interior design of the property was perfect with amazing attention to detail. The hot tub was just perfect, worked well and was a hit with some of our younger family members. It was very kid and dog friendly with the property being totally fenced off and gated. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone especially larger families with dogs!

A great place to use as a base to explore the area and has a good very long beach , the walk down to the beach is very steep so could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues , best to check tides too as it was not possible to walk on the beach if the tide was in but there are places to eat or drink and just gaze at the sea .
Nearby Laugherne and Narberth are lovely friendly bustling places to visit .

A lovely spacious property which was exactly as described. Hosts were very good with communications before and during our stay and gave good local advice. Thanks for the gift of the Prosecco, tea and Bara Brith, much appreciated.The hot tub was excellent and super views over to the castle. Having extra towels for use in the hot tub was a bonus. The hill up to the property is a bit steep and may not suit everyone but we were fine with it. The property was very clean and tidy throughout, and the kitchen was fully stocked for self catering. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

The weeks break at the barn conversion was 1st class. The accommodation is excellent and the surrounding area stunning - Charlotte and Jerry were wonderful hosts and can’t do enough for you.

Small but very well done, only surprise was just a microwave for cooking, no hob. But fine for breakfast! Milk in fridge on arrival plus Welsh cakes which was nice.

We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

We loved our stay! It was in a great location for exploring the local area. There is so much to see and do. We had a great break!
We had plenty of space and the accomodation has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The shower and bath were brilliant and the beds were very comfy!
Loved waking up to the horses in the field in the morning.

We also had a delicious meal at the hotel right next door which was super convenient with 3 children!

The house was clean and well presented with a lovely garden. The location was fab being just a 15 min walk from the beach, restaurants and shops of saundersfoot. We had a lovely stay and would definitely want to return.

We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Extremely convenient location, close to the centre of Laugharne, and in an extensive and magnificent garden. Wonderfully exotic and tranquil grounds surrounding a beautifully maintained, comfortable and characterful house.

Handsets for TVs were rather complicated and tricky. Some instructions would have been useful.

Lovely and clean with good bathroom and kitchen facilities. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Lots of good knowledge and want to help.

We have stayed in these apartments quite a few times. Why? Great location and easy to reach other locations. Very well maintained apartments, Cliff Haven is no exception. I would recommend it.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.

Location, location, location. Sitting in the hot tub with great views. Everything provided for even the biggest of family gatherings.

Absolutely superb. Charlotte didn’t miss a detail and I was just in awe of her thoughtfulness towards our whole family, with stashes of toys hidden throughout the barn. The woodland and farm are as beautiful as the barn with ingenious play ideas throughout; we needn’t have gone any further all week! But it is an ideal spot to venture out to Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We were a family, but it would be a wonderful couple’s getaway too.

Beautiful apartment on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the sea. Cosy vibe and great Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of good quality utensils and a dish washer. Heating is very good. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We had a greta time here. The castle is viewable from the window and the location is great. Pendine Sands is a great little beach!

Laugherne is well worth a visit, unspoiled, clean and tidy with stunning views of the castle and estuary. Go inside the castle grounds, they're a beautiful surprise. Our holiday home for 3 nights was lovely - peaceful and clean with everything you need and we managed to park right outside the front door which we needed. There's a small courtyard but it was in the shade, so we walked 2 mins across the road to sit looking at the castle with a glass of wine as the sun went down.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

A lovely and cosy air bnb, we loved every second of our stay there. Amazing property in a stunning location! The home had everything we could possibly need. The kids absolutely loved the games room and outdoor space, while we enjoyed watching the tractors go by. We already miss it and hope to return one day.
The beautiful local beaches are just a short drive away, and there are supermarkets nearby for convenience. The hosts were extremely helpful and informative, and the welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Everything was as expected if not better. We enjoyed the views from the windows in all rooms and especially from the hot tub. The castle is lit up at night which adds a great background when relaxing in the bubbles. The open plan kitchen lounge and dining room layout of the house was ideal for us with kids. The house was lovely and clean and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We had such an amazing stay. The house is even better in real life and the kitchen is set up so well that cooking is a real pleasure. Any glitches were sorted immediately and everyone we met in Laugherne was so friendly (especially in Poon’s) - it was great being able to walk to get food/coffee etc. The pool was a perfect temperature and when the sun was out it felt like we were in Italy. Comfortable beds, incredible bathrooms and a cosy snug for when it rained. Perfect.

An Airbnb that was actually better than the photos! We absolutely loved our stay here and were gobsmacked by how beautiful the place was. We felt like absolute kings/queens!
The place was very neat and tidy considering how big it is to clean. Lots of ammenities and activities to keep you busy inside or outside and walking distance to plenty of nice places close by.
The hosts were also very generous and allowed us to check out slightly later even on short notice.
Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

Wohnen in historischem Haus. Tolle Einrichtung. Überaus geräumig. Das Kaminzimmer ist so schön. Ein absolutes Highlight!

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

The Cors was ideal for us, a party of two families with 5 teenagers between us. The house itself was homely and charming, and the location is great to explore this stunning part of Wales. Plenty of space to get together as a group, or to have some time to yourself.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

Beautiful house in a lovely location. The house was clean, very nicely decorated and presented and was very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The owners even kindly left a birthday cake and balloon for my Dad’s 80th, along with a welcome pack of essentials. Our family had a fabulous time celebrating my Dad’s birthday at this wonderful property, and we’d love to come back again!

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

Location and the property was very nice and we liked the courtyard area the garden was very pretty.

The road outside the house was very busy, we come frome a quiet location and we did notice the traffic coming past.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

This house is even more beautiful than the pictures, we had a wonderful stay.
The bedrooms are all stunning and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms for a big group, with one on every floor. The house is very spacious and even with 10 people we didn’t feel as if we were on top of each other, as there are plenty of areas to relax in.
There are several great pubs within walking distance (closest is a 2 minute walk) and the general surroundings are stunning, with a great view from the house. Short drive from lots of great walks and beaches as well.
We would love to stay again if we’re in the vicinity. Highly recommend.

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! Our kids LOVED this holiday aswell as me and my husband, we can't say thankyou enough honestly! 5 stars from us 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A fantastic property, very clean and comfortable and in a great location

we had an amazing stay for the weekend. the rooms were amazing and the kitchej was well equipped for us to enjoy our time with no hassle.
the hot tub is an amazing addition and the views from the apartment were gorgeous.
We will definitely be back!!

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

We are a family of 5 and the house was definitely spacious enough for us. The views are breathtaking and the area is just so beautiful. We took time to enjoy the peace and the beautiful stars at night. The castle wonderful to see and the people were so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend.

We have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at Awel Taf and couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfect location to accommodate family for a wedding, excellent facilities and the owners were close at hand if we needed anything at all. Loved the welcome gifts which were an unexpected bonus 😀. Absolutely beautiful property in a breathe taking location. A real 'off the grid' feel without feeling like you are completely isolated. Incredible walks on the door step and a lovely cosy but very private property. The wood burners were a real highlight. Great proactive and very responsive communication from the host. We felt right at home and enjoyed the thoughtful touches and masses of local information provided. We will definitely be returning (asap I hope)!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed but still quiet at night. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out super easy. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return
