It was a good place, we had a good time and the owner was very communicative and very helpful.
We had issues with wifi not working during our stay, looks like it was an BT issue (BT were called and attended but couldn't rectify the issue). Which did rob us off some quality time in the evenings.
If not everything was really good.
I would recommend this place.

You couldn't wish for anywhere in nicer. The cottage had everything that you could want, and had been furnished to a high standard. The views were excellent and whatever the weather there was something to look at. We would definitely recommend this property to all our friends and family.

The Cottage is incredible and I would love to go back in the Summer and make even more use of the outdoor space. The dogs absolutely loved it from arrival to departure. Spacious, clean, warm and delightful.

Location wise, you would be hard pushed to find a property to top this one. Fabulous views & easy walking distance to all that you need - beach, cafe, shops, restaurants etc. Parking is in public car park but we didn't use the car the whole time we were there so not an issue.

Absolutely blown away by our stay, the accommodation is beyond beautiful and has that wow factor as soon as you walk in. The house is beautifully done and so well equipped! It was perfect for our yearly get away with friends and family and I couldn’t recommend it more and we can’t wait to come back! The location is perfect as it’s nicely tucked away and peaceful but also everything we did was easily accessible! We visited Y Polyn for dinner and would highly recommend this to all guests. Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

A 30th birthday trip of dreams!
The Great House in Laugharne was everything and more. Check in was super easy with a key/lockbox.
The heated pool was incredible, when we first arrived we all ran around looking at ALL the incredible bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces.
We felt so bougie and smiled, laughed, played games, ate, drank the whole weekend it was perfect.
The Ferryman Delicatessen is a stones throw away from the house and has a wonderful selection of delicious food we visited a few times!
Wouldn’t change a thing, amazing stay, I’d love to go back.

Having the right code upon arrival seemed to be an issue. Maybe my fault for not understanding the procedure.

A warm and friendly welcome set us on track for a lovely time at Oysterlow Cottage. We were very comfortable and enjoyed really stay. It was a working farm, but the owners were not too busy to chat and help us to enjoy our break. The cottage was well presented and equipped. Lovely and clean.

Lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by great views and only the sheep and birds for neighbours. Great for a quiet getaway.
House is nicely decorated with modern touches and comfortable. The large window in the reception room is great especially when slightly too cold to sit outside as it was on our stay.
For those with dogs. The garden is enclosed to a point however a small dog could probably get through the main gate and one part of the fencing had buckled slightly. I think our bernedoodle would have had a go at jumping that part given half the chance.

My Wife and I feel really relaxed after a wonderful stay at this fantastic rural location. We ate dinner outside every night watching the sun go down. The chickens certainly kept us entertained too! You will not be disappointed booking to stay here.

Everything was perfect

Great holiday for me, my mother and two teenagers. Very comfortable house, beds were amazingly comfortable and everything was of a high standard. Very well equipped kitchen with extras like a coffee machine. We like to walk and I love cold water swimming so to come back to a cosy and warm house was fantastic. So much to do in the local area.

Every single small detail had been considered. So peaceful with stunning views. Glorious sunrise and sunsets. Very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

What a fantastic place to stay, the Barn is beautifully styled, clean and homely. The location is great for short car rides to the beach, woods and shops. Loved seeing all the animals wondering around, hosts were so welcoming and even gave a basket of home grown vegetables!

Lovely warm, modern top floor apartment. Tastefully decorated with little accessories, made it feel restful and peaceful. Beautiful view from the comfortable lounge window across the bay. The kitchen had every gadget you may want to use to cook or serve food. We used the fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

Our navigation app took us to the wrong side of the main road, so we had to make contact for directions on arrival. Easy parking at the complex. Well sited in walking distance of the beaches and town centre.

Absolutely stunning property with everything we needed for our week long stay . Ample room for 10 adults, great outdoor space and pool , good Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean crisp white linen and towels, and perfect location for walking and exploring local countryside and beaches.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

A totally beautiful barn conversion that thought of every possible thing that any guest could possibly want. Stunning!
It was slightly more remote than we had anticipated which didn’t really worry us but it may do for some guests.

Such a lovely place to stay, this is the second time I have stayed here. It's so quiet and cosy, everything you could need is provided. Fully equipped kitchen is amazing, made some decent dishes accompanied by a game of trivial pursuit (which was definitely a challenge). Sitting by the fire in the cold evenings, movie on - what more could you ask for!
There was a bit of snow during our stay and Katie at GWE made a point of letting us know the conditions before we arrived, and then checked with us the next day. Thanks Katie ;)

We had a really good stay at The Barn and Chaffhouse. The accommodation is well decorated and comfortable. Nice welcome park on arrival including tea and coffee. Dishwasher tablets were appreciated.

Constructive feedback that can be offered
1) provide more cleaning products. It’s turn easier to keep the place clean. E.g lichen spray, kitchen roll.
2) please provide some more bowls for breakfast and replace chipped crockery.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

A lovely house, with fantastic gardens. Perfect place to stay and relax for a week with three generations of our family getting together. Minutes walk into town, plenty to do in the area and it’s such a nice place to stay you’ll be happy just staying in, even when it’s raining. If anything, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos - though we were also lucky with the sunshine.

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

Extremely well presented, thoughtfully set up with plenty of resources… the style and quality of this apartment made it feel like a real home from home - the best Booking.com residence we have stayed out to date… by far!

Although it's in MOD land, that didn't get in the way as we spent most of our daytime before 4pm, at a nearby beach at Pendine. Also we wanted somewhere out of the way, that would be quiet, without other holiday makers around. The owners have gone to a lot of effort with nice touches and quality of kitchen facilities was important to us as we prefer having evening meals made by ourselves. The walk in shower and bathtub is big. We enjoyed the fire pit outside at night and everything here was high quality.

All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Well what can I say about our stay at the bungalow apart from WOW! It’s is definitely modern and it is situated perfectly with beautiful views throughout the whole bungalow.

It has everything you need from comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, spacious kitchen plus of course the large hot tub, you can't help but enjoy yourselves.

It was clean, with plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the hot tub! There was coffee, tea, scones and Prosecco which was a lovely touch.

I would highly recommend.

We came back today stayed 5 nights over Christmas. Myself, wife and our golden doodle Alfie. Views are amazing short 5 mins drive to Laugharne and 10 minutes to pendine. Super private and we were not bothered at all during our stay.

It was a such lovely stay. The beds were very soft and towels provided were really clean! The house was great - so beautiful - the different spaces suited the needs of three generations and 7 people, with lots of places to hang out in. Everywhere was very spacious and cosy, with lots of interesting art work on the walls. We felt some of the furniture was looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of an overhaul.
It was a great location, with lots of interesting walks on the door step and a beach with cafes a 10 minute drive away. We had a fantastic meal at Dexters at Browns, moments from the house and there were enough shops in the town to pick up a few bits and peaces.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. There was plenty of space for all the family and it was really well located with so much in easy walking distance and by car. We really appreciated the welcome gift left by the homeowners - that was a lovely unexpected touch 😊 Thank you for having us!

Better than expected and a pleasure to return to after days out. Could relax and enjoy the comfort, the hot tub, off road parking and the views. Certainly deserves five stars. Would definitely recommend it.

Laugherne is well worth a visit, unspoiled, clean and tidy with stunning views of the castle and estuary. Go inside the castle grounds, they're a beautiful surprise. Our holiday home for 3 nights was lovely - peaceful and clean with everything you need and we managed to park right outside the front door which we needed. There's a small courtyard but it was in the shade, so we walked 2 mins across the road to sit looking at the castle with a glass of wine as the sun went down.

Beautiful and very spacious cottage with astonishing view from sun room. Really great time spent with families together. I wish I could have booked for longer. Very good service from Great Welsh Escapes. They also posted a jacket left behind immediately. I will highly recommend this place.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

The stay felt like home away from home with a wonderful view to a beautiful valley. Perfect for the quiet holiday we were looking for. Had a great time and our host was a very friendly and helpful.

The house was lovely (ever better than the pictures indicated). The beds were comfy and the log burner was a treat in winter. We really appreciated how well the kitchen was supplied for cooking - lots of cutlery, utensils, tableware, and cookware which made it easy to eat in.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! Our kids LOVED this holiday aswell as me and my husband, we can't say thankyou enough honestly! 5 stars from us 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My only criticism is that there is no handrail on the upper part of the stairs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and we need a rail to hold on to.

The Cottage was the perfect family house for the 12 of us ranging from 10 to 75 years. We loved the amazing views from the sun room and garden. It was an ideal location to base ourselves with beautiful beaches, walks and lots of things to do close by. The house was clean and very well kept, Great Welsh Escapes were responsive and quick to reply to any questions and kept in touch through out the stay. We had a fabulous Family Holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

Absolutely superb. Charlotte didn’t miss a detail and I was just in awe of her thoughtfulness towards our whole family, with stashes of toys hidden throughout the barn. The woodland and farm are as beautiful as the barn with ingenious play ideas throughout; we needn’t have gone any further all week! But it is an ideal spot to venture out to Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We were a family, but it would be a wonderful couple’s getaway too.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

The Old School House far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful place to stay in. It’s spacious, clean, peaceful & looks stunning.

We had everything we needed. We spent plenty of time chilling there, but also went to Pendine Beach which was a great place with plenty of space, glorious sand & great views.
There’s a lovely cafe literally next door to the property in a converted barn, great food & friendly hosts.
We spoke to one of the neighbours out walking his dogs & he was friendly & told us to visit Poons Street Cafe in Laugharne but unfortunately we didn’t get chance.
We highly recommend The Old School House.

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.
