beautiful house with beautifully decorated rooms. extremely clean on arrival with a welcome package for us. dog friendly with large garden. cinema room and pool room were absolutely fabulous for us all to use during our stay. house in perfect location - only 5 minute walk to local shops, pubs and castle with walks on your doorstep and then able to travel to Tenby in only 30 mins and Brecon Beacons in an hour.

My only criticism is that there is no handrail on the upper part of the stairs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and we need a rail to hold on to.

We had a great stay, the house was exactly as advertised and the location was particularly good. Right in town and an easy walk to lots of pubs and cafes.

Large, clean and private indoor heated pool plus sauna. Very tranquil location overseeing the lake. There are not other guests as there is only one property for holiday makers so it is very private feeling just like a second home. There are everything needed in the house.

Occasional flies in the house and farm smell outside 😄 but no smell in the house.

Attended for 2 nights as a valentines gift for my girlfriend. Absolutely beautiful location, owners were so friendly and the house was absolutely immaculate not a spec of dust. We had the best week at The Cors. We had everything we needed to hand. The house was perfect, the space and gardens were ideal. The communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We loved visiting the nearby beaches and little village. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at this place! The upstairs living area was clean and tidy- loads of dishes and containers we could use. TV was a great size to cosy up on the couch and watch the sunset over the castle. We were there on the day the market was- which was nice. There is a great hour long coastal walk which is beautiful. Check out the days the Laugharne Castle is open- because for a couple days a week it’s closed and when you’re staying near by- you’ll definitely want to check out the castle you see each day.
Loved that both rooms had a private en-suite too and that there was an additional loo upstairs. Highly recommend this place to stay

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Stayed at Beudy Howel for a week for work with another colleague. Absolutely loved it, the cottage is immaculate in every way with everything you need for a long or short break.

The Cottage was the perfect family house for the 12 of us ranging from 10 to 75 years. We loved the amazing views from the sun room and garden. It was an ideal location to base ourselves with beautiful beaches, walks and lots of things to do close by. The house was clean and very well kept, Great Welsh Escapes were responsive and quick to reply to any questions and kept in touch through out the stay. We had a fabulous Family Holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. One word - amazing. Is how I would describe this place. Peaceful and beautiful, this place is perfectly located to the west of the national park in the Black Mountains. Which is amazing for long walks great for the dog. The place itself is stunning, clean and well maintained.

Great location with so many things to do all around. 15 minutes to the loveliest beaches. The local people were so friendly, found a great Butcher and bakery just up the road. We cooked all our meals at the cottage and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable stay. Thank you!

We had a great stay with Hugh and Hazel. They'd put a lot of effort into making the home as welcoming to all (including supplies for rainy days). It was comfortable, well stocked (beyond what I'd normally expect) and they'd left us with plenty of recommendations. Couldn't fault them!

A great place to use as a base to explore the area and has a good very long beach , the walk down to the beach is very steep so could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues , best to check tides too as it was not possible to walk on the beach if the tide was in but there are places to eat or drink and just gaze at the sea .
Nearby Laugherne and Narberth are lovely friendly bustling places to visit .

I absolutely loved staying at Beudy. The beautifully converted barn looks even better in real life than the pictures. The kitchen is so well equipped, hot tub super reliable and comfortable, outdoor space is stunning and so well thought out, decor throughout space is so well curated, parking easy, location fabulous and hosts friendly and also allow for plenty of privacy. I fully recommend staying here :)

Jess was very responsive and helpful. Our son got very high fever on the last day and Emily was very kind to extend our check out by a whole hour. The house in itself is gorgeous and extremely clean just as the pictures. However, in regards to the location of the house, it’s not close to either the beach or the castle unlike the impression we got from the pictures posted. It’s in the middle of a farm residential area. Our son quite enjoyed waking up to the mooing of cows but the stench of the cow manure does waft through the house if you open the doors and the windows. All in all, we did enjoy our stay at the house immensely.

The house was modern and spotlessly clean. There are two sitting rooms ideal for large groups. There were games and puzzles but the place was tidy and not cluttered. We could not think of a thing that wasn't provided. The kitchen also had every utensil you would need, a large fridge freezer and a stove with separate grill. There were great views from the garden. The WiFi was brilliant. Gave the location one less star as it is a twenty minute drive to a shop. The location though is beautiful, beach, castle, village and walks. There is a small shop which stocks essentials and is also a coffee shop. We had coffee and cake there which was delicious. Also two pubs which we did not go in. We did not have the best of weather and it was out of season however we felt very cozy in the house. Would definately return.

We loved our weekend away at Maes Y Mel and will definitely be coming back in years to come! Our hosts Buddug and Lloyd were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. It was like a home away from home with all the amenities we needed to relax. Such a beautiful and tranquil location away from all noise and distractions. Hazel could not of been anymore hospitable could she of tried. We had a stunning welcome pack and then Hazel went above and beyond with some eggs and after she spent a morning strawberry picking she even shared what she had gathered with us. The location is remote but perfect. Stunning bungalow with amazing and tranquil views from every window and the most well equipped air BnB I have ever stayed in. Honestly we did not want for anything. From a bbq, fans, torches, shower items, robes, towels - you name it. And the hot tub just topped it off!!
We struggled to get in touch with Welsh Escapes for check in info.
But please rest assured, Hazels place is well worth the money and Hazel is super friendly and super helpful. And the communication initially is with Welsh Escapes and not Hazel directly.

The location was superb, overlooking a lake with wildfowl. Being on a farm at the end of a track, it was private and quiet. Having sole use of a large indoor heated pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortably furnished. There were shops in nearby St Clears with long opening hours, even on Sunday. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

Picton cottage studio was beautiful and immaculate. It is furnished to a very high standard. Lovely, warm, peaceful and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was really good, so close to Laugharne, St clears and the Pembrokeshire coast.
Picton house hotel 100yrds away serving superb food and entertainment and the Savoy Inn about a mile away also serving great food. Will definitely go back and reccomend.

This is really a special cottage in an incredible and unique setting. The building itself is really well maintained and sits on a parcel that gives great vistas from all around. The view of the estuary never disappoints. And, the church ruins that sit near the corner of the property are a special site (sight?) to see. :-). The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive and is keen to make sure every guest has the best experience. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. Highly recommend!!

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

Better than expected and a pleasure to return to after days out. Could relax and enjoy the comfort, the hot tub, off road parking and the views. Certainly deserves five stars. Would definitely recommend it.

This house was perfect for our needs. Daughter, son in law & grandchildren (age 2 & 3) slept downstairs and the rest of us were upstairs. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. Two living room areas which were well equipped. Kitchen also had plenty of space and all that was needed for our stay. We appreciated the car parking space rather than parking on the street as the village is quite narrow in places. We didn’t use the log burner as the house was lovely and warm & there was always lots of hot water.
We would definitely recommend this house & would book again. Booking with Welsh Escapes was easy and communication excellent.

A brilliant 3 night stay at Cors Country House in Laugharne. Great value for money and ideal facilities for a big group (we had 7 but ample room for several more) including comfortable rooms, bar, pool table & the cinema room is an amazing space! I’d thoroughly recommend this venue and the company who were very responsive throughout our stay, making everything hassle free.

The venue is also very well placed to discover Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We managed to do some outdoor activities such as climbing & archery at nearby Pendine as well as taking in the coastal path between Saundersfoot & Tenby which was just 25 mins drive away.

Beautiful house in a lovely location. The house was clean, very nicely decorated and presented and was very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The owners even kindly left a birthday cake and balloon for my Dad’s 80th, along with a welcome pack of essentials. Our family had a fabulous time celebrating my Dad’s birthday at this wonderful property, and we’d love to come back again!

We had a lovely 6 night stay in the Coach House with our elderly dog. It was very quiet, with close parking and a view out over a horse field. The fenced garden was very practical for the dog and pleasant to have a coffee in. The accommodation was cosy and comfy and we liked having the option of using the pub/restaurant as well. There was plenty to see and do in the area. The owner was very reactive to any questions we had. We thought this was very good value.

what didn’t I like would be easier to answer! the building is beautiful and very comfortable. the set up was perfect for my family especially with the mezzanine floor bedroom which gave my daughters the space they needed. it has everything we needed and more!

Very easy instructions to follow to access the property and welcomed by the host Richard who as very welcoming . It was the most tranquil property, with beautiful views . So quiet and cosy. We had everything we needed and it was so nice to switch off and fully relax . With a very busy life , we just needed to have space and time, we had amazing use of the pool and sauna and loved the jacuzzi bath ! We didn’t want to leave a review as worried it will get booked up :) it was perfect

Comfortable, cosy cottage in beautiful Laugharne. Cottage well equipped, warm and a lovely place to relax after busy days out. Great location in the centre of the town. Short walk to the Castle and shop/pubs/cafes. We ate twice in the Portreeves Restaurant which did great food and wine. Browns Hotel also good. Enjoyed the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and writing Shed and his Birthday Walk. Highly recommend a stay at Chapel View.

An absolutely fantastic, well thought out home that caters for all your needs. Every room has been so carefully crafted, providing all you could possibly need, exactly where you need it. The bedrooms with en-suite were spacious, including a huge master bedroom with a huge en-suite, very impressive. The kitchen was a joy to work in with so much utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, pots and pans galore. Outside was a large hot tub where you could relax and enjoy the splendid scenery, boats, water, a castle, quite incredible. Worth every penny and more.

My little family had the most enjoyable stay. Location was amazing, walking distance to the town, bars, restaurants, lovely walks and the beach. Very comfortable and in a beautiful location. it definitely had the Wow factor.

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

We enjoyed staying at the bungalow in Pendine and using it as a base to visit the surrounding attractions and beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Mona and Graham were excellent hosts. The property was perfect for our needs very clean and homely, modern inside set in beautifully kept grounds and garden, quiet and relaxing.

A wonderful, grand, lovely home. Sprawling yet cozy with wonderful details, creaking, undulating amazing wood floors, big window, period furniture…on and on. Really a treat. The pool is a nice option which we enjoyed often as we visited during quite a warm time. Enjoyed nightly dinners on the lovely top terrace. Property is exactly as it is described on the site.

A picturesque guest house at the end of the street with everything you need. The associated farm is very quiet and the hostess extremely polite. She has a good sense of aesthetic design and has created beautiful flower beds.

Brilliant communication from start to finish. Accomodation was excellent standard with lovely arrival gift and decked out for Xmas. Definitely recommend and can't wait to return.

A really nice, well presented property. Spotlessly clean, with all amenities provided. Wonderful shower will plenty of hot water. Nice, fully enclosed courtyard garden which our dogs made full use of. The surrounding countryside and beach is perfect The owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. All in all, a very nice and comfortable stay. Thank you.

We decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful home for a few days and the Old School was perfect. Easy to find, excellent communication from Jess, problem with bathroom light that was quickly rectified whilst we were out and about.

Laugharne is small but peaceful with all amenities you may need (if you need to do a large food shop however I’d do this before you arrive as the convenience store is very limited in terms of veg / selection etc).

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

Perfect stay for new year.
Stayed with family, was extremely clean and orangised. Lovely warm fire, cosy front room and the best kitchen I’ve ever cooked in.
Would 100% stay again, only down side was there was no wardrobes but it’s not the end of the world living out a case for a few days.

Absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful cottage! Loved every minute. Very comfortable, clean & cosy. Beautiful surroundings - feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere.
