We absolutely loved our 6 day stay here. Felt right at home immediately. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and all the wildlife that visits is so wonderful. There's birds of all kinds. We saw Canada geese swoop in everyday and the Greylag geese had their little chicks swimming with them from the island. There's bats that come zipping right past your face if you stand outside at dusk. It's so peaceful and picturesque. There's so much to do, we didn't even get around to visiting Carmarthen! We would love to come back in the future

My stepdaughter and I spent an amazing week over Christmas and it was every bit as we imagined it would be. We took our 2 dogs with us and spent days at the dog friendly beaches near by. It was all so picturesque and peaceful. Would recommend it 100%

We had a wonderful stay. This cozy flat is warm, clean and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and just love the big fridge/freezer, excellent for our long stay. The wifi works well. We had a minor issue in the bathroom and it quickly fixed. The town Laugharne is lovely and welcoming and I only wish we can stay for longer.

It was a beautiful house and with all the amenities anyone could ask for. It really felt as if we were staying in someone's home. Everything you could think of was in the ktichen. It made it very nice to be able to cook home meals there. The view is spectacular from the sun deck and the local town of Laugharne was super friendly. We loved it. highly recommend.

We had a great week in Lloret. Beautifully clean bungalow with all you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Jac kept in touch by text to make sure we were ok. We would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

The property and grounds surpassed all expectations. Everything was spotless, the amenities are fantastic, including the hottub with outstanding views. The grounds are perfect for an explorative toddler with a lot of energy.

We loved our short stay at the Great House, what a house. The children particularly enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and we all loved the snug and kitchen for being together. A perfect stay - we will definitely be back.

We have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at Awel Taf and couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfect location to accommodate family for a wedding, excellent facilities and the owners were close at hand if we needed anything at all. Loved the welcome gifts which were an unexpected bonus 😀. Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

As a big family it was a perfect place to be all together. There was plenty of space for us all and the views were beautiful!

What an incredible, well maintained home with amazing views and only a short drive to beautiful landscapes and castles! We absolutely loved our stay. Great place to get away and amazing spot for kids (no stairs for little ones to get hurt on), with ample toys and a magical sunroom that overlooks insane views. The house is a bit further down the road than GPS said, so keep that in mind when arriving. Would love to come back one day!

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

The house is in a stunning location on a hill looking out. Inside it is warm, comfortable, well decorated with good quality furnishings and amenities. Highly recommend it as a place to hang out with friends and family.

This was a great base for a long weekend away with 6 adults and a baby. The house is on a quiet, private street and is a walkable distance from the town centre and the beach. The walk is a steep one but doable, even with a buggy. The house itself is spacious and well thought- out with nice, homely touches like live plants, umbrellas, blankets etc. The garden is lovely and there are sea views from the back bedrooms. The place was very clean and we were able to check in early which was very helpful after a long journey with a small baby. The communication with the host was very good. 5/5 ☺️

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

We had a lovely stay!! The house was so well stocked and had everything we needed. The views are amazing and the hot tub really helped us all to relax. Would definitely stay again!!

We had a much needed, relaxing week in Tenby in some really sunny April weather. The flat's location is very central and has a great view of the harbour. We had all of the amenities we needed and would consider returning to Tenby again!

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

We had a really good stay at The Barn and Chaffhouse. The accommodation is well decorated and comfortable. Nice welcome park on arrival including tea and coffee. Dishwasher tablets were appreciated.

Constructive feedback that can be offered
1) provide more cleaning products. It’s turn easier to keep the place clean. E.g lichen spray, kitchen roll.
2) please provide some more bowls for breakfast and replace chipped crockery.

The bungalow is in a beautiful location with stunning views of Laugharne. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable short break. The bungalow was immaculate inside and the addition of a hot tub was a real luxury.

Absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you could need. We were the first guests to stay there and we absolutely loved it. We loved the garden and the horses in the field behind. The bed in the back room is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. We are already looking to book our next two breaks. The welcome pack was a really nice touch as well. Chocolate wine and even treats for the dog it was so kind. Thank you for making our break perfect.

Lovely spacious bungalow with fantastic views of Laugharne. Lovely peaceful setting but a short walk into Laugharne. Well equipped kitchen. As per previous reviews, drive is steep but it wasn’t a big deal for us.

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and apartment with parking - a short walk into town, with a lovely view and everything that you would need to hand (even a cheese slicer).

We, a family of four and a dog had a wonderful time at Brofallen. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything that you could possibly need. It was in such a relaxing quiet spot with amazing views. You do need a car to appreciate the places all around, but there are lots of scenic places to visit that are good for kids and dogs. It was a lovely holiday had by all.

Beautiful stay for our Welsh weekend away. The BnB itself was exactly as photographed, spotless with stunning modern interior and a handy, compact, ‘everything-you-need’ kitchen area. We decided to cook both evenings, and made use of some lovely freshly harvested vegetables left for us in a whicker basket on the side - a really nice touch. 🥦🌽🍅
The Hottub was perfect in every way, theraputic, relaxing and perfect under the stars at night. Similarly, the bathroom was just as great with a strong over head shower, and 2nd handheld option. We also enjoyed finding some amusement from watching the young goats and chickens in their run nearby the back of the BnB. 🐐🐓

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

A warm and friendly welcome set us on track for a lovely time at Oysterlow Cottage. We were very comfortable and enjoyed really stay. It was a working farm, but the owners were not too busy to chat and help us to enjoy our break. The cottage was well presented and equipped. Lovely and clean.

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!

Such a lovely place to stay, this is the second time I have stayed here. It's so quiet and cosy, everything you could need is provided. Fully equipped kitchen is amazing, made some decent dishes accompanied by a game of trivial pursuit (which was definitely a challenge). Sitting by the fire in the cold evenings, movie on - what more could you ask for!
There was a bit of snow during our stay and Katie at GWE made a point of letting us know the conditions before we arrived, and then checked with us the next day. Thanks Katie ;)

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

What a find!! We were looking for a last minute break and stumbled across this beautiful house. When we arrived we were blown away. It’s quirky decor, the size, the facilities (pool table and cinema room were a massive hit!), the grounds and the location were spot on. It was refreshing to find something so beautiful that was also dog friendly. Our dog is a big part of our family, she has mobility issues so we struggle to leave her, having the option to take her to such a stunning house was perfect.
Big thank you to Jac for all the beautiful little touches, those that were specific to us (the welcome hamper and sign) and those that were just throughout the house (the bbq with gas ready to use, the hot water bottles in the bedrooms, the toiletries etc) it really does make your house and our holiday even more memorable.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

This house is magnificent - a feast for the eyes if you enjoy this period of architecture. The house is enormous and but warm and comfortable at the same time. This was our first ever Air bnb experience. And it most certainly exceeded our expectations. The place is perfect for a little family holiday and have plenty to do within a 30 min drive of the place. There’s even plenty to do in the lodge also with a spacious hot tub, games and crafts for the kids, outside toys etc.

The host is wonderful and can’t do enough. Every little detail has been thought about and the cleanliness of the place is amazing. The lovely hamper, Easter egg and balloons for my son and partner birthdays was a really sweet touch.

Hot tub is amazing! Views are amazing! The lodge is amazing! This place is just amazing. And I’ve told all my friends and family that they need a little trip here.

What a lovely house. The living room was very spacious, light and airy thanks to the double aspect windows and huge front window with view over the local area.
There was so much space, it was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Very quiet and close enough to the town to walk.

The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

Location, location, location. Sitting in the hot tub with great views. Everything provided for even the biggest of family gatherings.

We absolutely loved the views over Laugharne...spectacular!!! We would never tire of that!! Also, a short walk down the hill from the bungalow and you are in the middle of Laugharne! Perfect 👌 There are a number of pubs and cafes to pick from, all very good and very friendly!! Dylan Thomas' house all 3 to visit and the writing she'd! Laugharne Castle!!

Two day into the holiday, the children are already asking to come back next year—this says something about the place!

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.
