We had a great long weekend at Maes-Y-Mel and loved the place, surroundings, and local produce the hosts provided. Will definitely consider coming back!

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

We’ve Just had a superb week at this lovely property near the beach. All the decor is warm and cosy, mattresses are incredibly comfortable with beautiful linen and towels . The kitchen, which is brand new was so well equipped, more than my own kitchen! We didn’t want for anything. The house was immaculately clean throughout.
We were lucky enough to have some blue skies with a view across the sea. Will be returning to enjoy the Sunny garden in the warmer months.

My only slight criticism is the lounge sitting area isn’t very comfy. Thankfully we were only 2 people but would have struggled with 4/6.

Fabulous staycation! Perfect for our family and dogs, loved the apartment, the balcony was huge which gave our dogs a bit of freedom. Couldn't fault it for our requirements.

Very spacious for the number of guests. It was a great location for a multi generation family trip. we didn't have great weather but nobody was bored. The house was stunning, the pictures don't do it justice.

Situated by a working farm, it is very quiet and peaceful. Hardly noticed the farm workings. It is on MOD land, thus you feel very safe as access to the area is very controlled. From 16.00 you can go to the beach, when we were their it was ourselves and four others. The accommodation is very spacious and spotless, although the internet is patchy.
For a quiet unwind this place is absolutely ideal.
For a great meal head to the Jabajak vineyard.

Fabulous time had by all. A couple of early niggles were quickly and efficiently sorted out. Beautiful property and the weather has been sunny and hot all week.

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

The cottage was as expected really cosy, clean and well equipped. Ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
We recommend it whole heartedly for a relaxing break for two..

What a beautiful spot on earth! After being away from Wales for 8 years, we were looking for a special place to return...and "The Lookout at Goscar" absolutely delivered...spectacular views over the harbour and North Beach...comfortable beds, nice kitchen...situated in the middle of town a stone throw away from the beach.
Tenby is such a beautiful place, with lonely mornings at spectacular beaches, boat tours to see Seals and busy pub live and sweets shops for the little ones.
All in all we had perfect holidays with our little daughter...we will be back!

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

A lovely, peaceful, comfortable and cosy base for touring the best of SW Wales. Spotlessly clean, light and airy, well-equipped, sunny eating out space, beautiful views. The hosts were always friendly and helpful. A really joyful few days.

A perfect place to stay over Christmas with two toddlers and a dog.
The Boathouse was exactly as described and decorated for Christmas when we arrived.
The pool was bigger than expected but perfect to use each day for kids working on their swimming and water confidence.
The host, Richard, was always available, friendly and chatty with the kids when they showed an interest in the animals.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Great House in Laugharne.
The house is spectacular and so historic. It is situated very conveniently in a great location, near to pubs and restaurants in a beautiful village.

Sunnybanks is in a wonderful location with stunning views across the Welsh countryside. Great base to visit beaches, walks and tourist attractions.
It's very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, like home from home! Sunnybanks was spotlessly clean, the rooms are very well decorated light and airy.
We had wonderful evenings playing games on the lawn and enjoying our meals al fresco.
We would definitely recommend, we shall be returning for another great break.

A view to die for.......

Wildhaven is a wonderful place to pause and reset. This was our second stay, and hopefully not our last! It really feels like it's in the heart of the Beacons National Park with nothing around by sheep, beautiful scenery, and wild horses. I can't recommend it enough.

We had a couple of hiccups with the house, but the hosts communicated well and they were resolved efficiently.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

Hillside location with wonderful view of river Towy estuary. Property is immaculately and comfortably presented with every facility for four adults and two children.

Stayed at the most beautiful place in Laugharne. The view was spectacular. Good communication throughout from Great Welsh Escapes.

We loved our stay with our young family. Great location to visit local attractions. Our boys loved meeting our neighbours (goats and chickens) and our hosts were very helpful and attentive.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

Absolutely beautiful setting for us. Felt quite and out the way but still close enough to grab groceries. We had a car so we was happy to drive to the top beaches in wales each day from here was around 50 minutes really happy with our pick with this one Highly recommended

We loved our stay at Beudy at Pentrecelyn. The accomodations were comfortable and so beautiful. The barn has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate. The owners of the property, Colin and Nia, were very friendly and so helpful - we greatly appreciated the ride to the railway station. The farm is beautiful and private, but is a nice walk to town for shopping and dinner. We woud definitely stay here again.

A magical few days on this working farm. Our daughter loved seeing the lambs and we enjoyed fresh milk from the cows. The views across the river were breathtaking and our hosts couldn’t have made us feel more at home. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

My only comment is to take care on the local roads as some become impassable without warning.
Be careful using Waze!
Otherwise it was a great place, lovely hot-tub and very comfortable.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Ideally 4th double or single room would have been useful.
We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

The house had everything you needed. The doors opened up to the garden and we enjoyed the sunshine and the quiet location.

Our stay at Sunnybank was just perfect. The location was unbelievable, peaceful and quiet and the view of fields upon fields was incredible.
The hosts were brilliant, very informative, left us to it but made it clear if we needed anything at all not to hesitate to ask.
They had everything you can imagine there for you, the place was spotless and a gorgeous welcome hamper on arrival made our stay.
We did some beautiful local walks, and the hot tub was an absolute bonus. Especially at night with the clear skies.
We can’t wait to come back to Sunnybank again! Highly recommended and unbelievable for the price!!

The cottage was lovely and had everything we could possibly have needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed using the barbecue and outdoor seating. The location was good with lots to do close by. Just perfect!

A great location - as with every small town, parking can be an issue - we were out of season so local car park was ok.
Beware of the coastal path to Saundersfoot if it has been raining for a few months (we stayed in March) as it is really no longer a path, more of a water and mud assault course :-)
Tenby is Tenby - a fishing/seaside town town that seems to be able to hold its own well - enough locally to keep most folk happy - and locals seemed genuinely friendly

Great location and apartment with parking - a short walk into town, with a lovely view and everything that you would need to hand (even a cheese slicer).

Amazing place, so unique. The house is more spacious than we expected and it has a lovely log burner which gives it such a cosy feel. You need a car to get around as there is not much nearby that’s walkable but this wasn’t a problem for us. The cafe around the other side of the house did a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Coedllys Cottage from 25th–27th August 2025. The cottage is delightfully, spotlessly clean, and set in a stunning countryside location with fantastic walking straight from the door. The swim spa and sauna were a real highlight and perfect for relaxing tired muscles after long walks. It’s also ideally located for easy access to beautiful scenic beaches and towns. The cottage is very well equipped and provided everything we needed for a peaceful, comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming, making the whole stay effortless. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We really loved our long weekend at Footprints. The flat is gorgeous, very comfy and incredibly well equipped. We made the best of the weather with a few walks on the coastal path, some time on the beach and we even braved a sea swim. And then when it got really stormy we felt lovely and cosy in the cottage and enjoyed watching the dramatic weather from window - what a view! We loved the flat and the location, and there's lots of fantastic local eateries as well. We shall be back! :)

We have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at Awel Taf and couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfect location to accommodate family for a wedding, excellent facilities and the owners were close at hand if we needed anything at all. Loved the welcome gifts which were an unexpected bonus 😀. The steep driveway and narrow lanes we walked a lot so coming back driveway was a struggle for the elder ones in the group could probably have done with a handrail along driveway wall but nothing really negative great property all round

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

A lovely spacious property which was exactly as described. Hosts were very good with communications before and during our stay and gave good local advice. Thanks for the gift of the Prosecco, tea and Bara Brith, much appreciated.The hot tub was excellent and super views over to the castle. Having extra towels for use in the hot tub was a bonus. The hill up to the property is a bit steep and may not suit everyone but we were fine with it. The property was very clean and tidy throughout, and the kitchen was fully stocked for self catering. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

Perfect for two. Well equipped, very clean, comfortable and modern. Well priced for our two night stay. We would love to stay again.

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Such a lovely place to stay, this is the second time I have stayed here. It's so quiet and cosy, everything you could need is provided. Fully equipped kitchen is amazing, made some decent dishes accompanied by a game of trivial pursuit (which was definitely a challenge). Sitting by the fire in the cold evenings, movie on - what more could you ask for!
There was a bit of snow during our stay and Katie at GWE made a point of letting us know the conditions before we arrived, and then checked with us the next day. Thanks Katie ;)

This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.

we stayed at the property for our honeymoon and could not believe how beautiful and remote it was. the closest villages and towns are a 20 minute drive in any direction, the views are stunning and the space feels cozy and like home.

We had a great time. A lot of internal space, well equipped kitchen, a great den/TV room which was very popular with our teenagers and spacious bedrooms. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating options to catch the sun during the day. A private setting and very peaceful.
Just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs, Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. A short drive to the vast Pendine beach. EV charger was very convenient - not many public options in the area.
Would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Absolutely lovely stay - the town is so beautiful and we had the most wonderful time.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

Wow, the most bautiful place and perfecto. I highly recomend this place for anyone who wants to explore South Wales. The Old School is bautiful inside and out. We cannot wait to back to the UK and stay here again. 5 stars

We had a very enjoyable and relaxed time at the cottage.
The place is full of character, clean, comfortable and cosy. Spacious and nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is super equipped with everything needed to feel home away from home.
The best feature of the house is its location. The house is in a remote location deep in the Welsh countryside with the most amazing sunsets. Wonderful for us who needed some tranquility and rest.
We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

We had a much needed, relaxing week in Tenby in some really sunny April weather. The flat's location is very central and has a great view of the harbour. We had all of the amenities we needed and would consider returning to Tenby again!

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

Great location close to campus. Space to park two vehicles. The house was comfortable for five of us.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.
Would not hesitate to return and great value.
