A beautiful and well equipped house perfect for relaxing family stays perfectly located and close to great restaurants, walks and all the amenities you'd need. The views are incredible. You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely cottage in Laugharne. The cottage is spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. We never tired of the view across to the castle. Laugharne is a peaceful village with a fascinating history. There is a selection of cafes and pubs and a convenience store close to the cottage. There are some lovely walks from the doorstep and lots to do a little further afield if you have a car to explore Tenby and beyond.

Lovely apartment in the middle of Laugharne. Perfect for a short break exploring the area.
The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and perfect accommodation for my wife and I plus our young toddler. Comms and instructions from our host were great, with lots of clear info on the place and the surrounding area.

This house was perfect for our needs. Daughter, son in law & grandchildren (age 2 & 3) slept downstairs and the rest of us were upstairs. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. Two living room areas which were well equipped. Kitchen also had plenty of space and all that was needed for our stay. We appreciated the car parking space rather than parking on the street as the village is quite narrow in places. We didn’t use the log burner as the house was lovely and warm & there was always lots of hot water.
We would definitely recommend this house & would book again. Booking with Welsh Escapes was easy and communication excellent.

AMAZING! The bungalow had everything we needed and more! Views were beautiful from every window, we could have sat for hours just looking! The bungalow was spotlessly clean. beds really comfortable, nice, much appreciated welcoming gifts and the hot tub was great to relaxing in the evening. we found all the neighbours really friendly and all had time to chat and tell us places to visit. would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. We, a family of four and a dog had a wonderful time at Brofallen. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything that you could possibly need. It was in such a relaxing quiet spot with amazing views. You do need a car to appreciate the places all around, but there are lots of scenic places to visit that are good for kids and dogs. It was a lovely holiday had by all.

A beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. Gwalia house has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The welcome gifts included home grown tomatoes and a delicious wine as well as some beautiful cut flowers. Also appreciated the very comfy beds and how clean the property was kept. Laugharne is a quaint and peaceful town with the castle, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. We recommend the local Dylan Thomas Boathouse walk. There’s lovely views of the Gower and River Taf. Also not too far away - a 30-45 minute drive - if you want to visit different parts of the South Pembrokeshire coast.

So much room for everyone, Ideal for large family holiday with dog.

Garden not enclosed, but it was so big the dog just stayed around the house so not a problem.

Pond in garden could be a problem for small children.

Really amazing property perfect location for small family if you want to get away for peace and quiet and relax.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse, which was set in a quiet and beautiful location and within easy reach of most major attractions that we wanted to see (less than 30-45 mins away for pretty much everything). We had the pool to ourselves every time we used it, and it was great to be able to access it basically any time we wanted to. We had one minor issue with the water pressure one day but the hosts were great and fixed it in short order, so no complaints from us. We would definitely stay again next time we go to South Wales - rare find indeed.

From booking the property for our holiday to checking out today everything has been superb. All messages and enquiries were responded to promptly and courteously. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and we were able to explore the length and breadth of south west Wales. The facilities at the property were five star. Couldn't fault anything. Bendigedig!

Very nice accomodation , it is in the country, but shops and restaurants at 5 minutes distance by car. Populair Tenby is about a 30 minutes drive. Hosts are very friendly, the house is set up with everything you need. Absolutely fantastic!

Sunny bank is an amazing getaway surrounded by the beautiful farms and hills of Wales, close to sights like Llansteffan castle and towns like Tenby it makes for a great long weekend away destination. The owners came to check that everything was ok and gave us really good recommendations of what to visit. Would definitely go back!

Great house, very clean! The communication from Great Welsh Escape staff was excellent. Very nice time away.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

We have had the most amazing time at Cliff Haven for my daughters Birthday. The view is breathtaking, the property has everything we needed. We are sad to leave & will definitely book again! 5*. Thank you! X

Lovely cottage with all modern comforts incl.uding dishwasher and smart TV. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
The cottage is recently built but in keeping with the period cottages and houses of King Street, Laugharne. Beautiful peaceful area with good shops and pubs and restaurants. Even has its own castle. Plenty to see; TV series "Keeping Faith" was filmed there and writer/poet Dylan Thomas lived there.

The location was superb, overlooking a lake with wildfowl. Being on a farm at the end of a track, it was private and quiet. Having sole use of a large indoor heated pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortably furnished. There were shops in nearby St Clears with long opening hours, even on Sunday. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The steps down to the property were steep.

Lovely welcome pack include prosecco nice after a 5 hour drive. The accommodation is perfectly presented in every room. Thanks so much Ann and Ian.

The house is well kept and laid out with a modern downstairs kitchen, living room and bathroom. Upstairs the floors have a camber in places showing the age of the original building but the bedrooms are equally nice. We stayed for three days and were very happy with our choice.

We had a lovely 4 night stay and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. If we ever return to this part of Wales, we will look to book the same place.

Lovely location for an extremely soothing break. Well equipped cottage and Robert was kind enough to get kids little games to keep busy when you are retiring after having a day out whether to botanical garden trip or folley farm.
Near by nisa local, fish and chips were handy to pop for a quick snack.
House was very clean and plenty of room for a family of six. We shall visit again and recommend this place.

This is a beautifully appointed & comfortable apartment, the hosts had thought of everything! The views across the bay are great and access to the cost path is just across the road. Parking space & key access easy to find/ use.

Not a criticism of the property, but worth noting that the walk back from the town/ beach involves coming up a steep hill

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Very well equipped, comfortable and the washing machine and dishwasher was a bonus. Everything was so clean and in good condition! The view were great and it was so peaceful sat out on the decking have your morning coffee looking out onto the sea!

It’s not really I didn’t like but was disappointed the fairy lights didn’t work on the balcony, would have been nice to sit out on an evening with them on. Also the double bedroom could have done with more storage. The small wardrobes wasn’t enough for 2 adults.

Perfectly equipped apartment, tastefully decorated throughout with great views. Kitchen had everything we needed (though no cafetierre/French press). Very relaxing to sit in the lounge and look out to see. Loved walking down into the centre but also made some day trips further into Pembrokeshire. Will miss the sound of the owls hooting at night. Would love to book again.

What a wonderful, peaceful experience we have had staying here at Old Oak Barn, the cottage is beautiful, picturesque walking grounds surround the barn. Look out for the little surprises! We were made to feel so welcome, outstanding hospitality. What a Gem, you will not be disappointed and we look forward to another visit

The weeks break at the barn conversion was 1st class. The accommodation is excellent and the surrounding area stunning - Charlotte and Jerry were wonderful hosts and can’t do enough for you.

A fabulous house. Lovely views over countryside in the back garden. The location is excellent you can get everywhere in the area very easily. We were family of 6 and everything worked so well. The weather was on our side and the beaches and facilities were amazing. Coppett Hall our favourite beach. Would book again.

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

Lovely well equipped and beautifully clean semi detached house on a quiet estate backing onto fields. Easy route down to beach and perfect for our needs

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.

Fantastic cottage. It has everything you need for cosy comfortable stay. We loved it. Everything worked beautifully, the cottage had everything we needed. It was all so easy and relaxing and the views are wonderful.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, immaculately presented and everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The location was perfect for touring South West Wales. The hosts were fabulous, offering us tips for places to visit and leaving us beautiful Welsh Cakes to welcome us. A fabulous restaurant 5 minutes walk away, offering delicious food. Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Very easy instructions to follow to access the property and welcomed by the host Richard who as very welcoming . It was the most tranquil property, with beautiful views . So quiet and cosy. We had everything we needed and it was so nice to switch off and fully relax . With a very busy life , we just needed to have space and time, we had amazing use of the pool and sauna and loved the jacuzzi bath ! We didn’t want to leave a review as worried it will get booked up :) it was perfect

Everything about this property is great. Hosts are very warm and takes guest's comfort very seriously. We were welcomed with Easter treats and a delicious welsh cake. The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Great House in Laugharne.
The house is spectacular and so historic. It is situated very conveniently in a great location, near to pubs and restaurants in a beautiful village.

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

This is a superior home from home and then some! It boasts fabulous accommodation for a family or without children.
There are the most amazing walks to be taken around the property with glorious countryside views.
And then there is the hydro-pool - what a luxury - great for relaxing ur power swimming.
The parking is next to the cottage.

Wonderful stay at this gorgeous apartment. All the furnishings and equipment were excellent and the bed was big and very comfortable.
Everything was spotless, the heating was easy to use and hot water plentiful.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

what didn’t I like would be easier to answer! the building is beautiful and very comfortable. the set up was perfect for my family especially with the mezzanine floor bedroom which gave my daughters the space they needed. it has everything we needed and more!

…the cold tap in the kitchen was a bit noisy, that’s all I can think of!

Absolutely fabulous apartment, clean and tidy, very high spec. Everything you need at hand. We were blessed with hot weather. Short walk from Pendine beach. Fabulous views of coastline.

This little gem of a house far exceeded our expectations. Brilliantly positioned for walks and drives to local beauty spots.
The facilities were top class with everything that you could want for a break.
The real extra benefits for us as a family - heating that could be localised in each room, two bathrooms, perfect size kitchen, cosy living room with a working log burner.
The parking is a bit tricky but you can find local parking within 3 min walk if nothing available outside. (all free).

The enclosed garden was great. Our dogs really enjoyed running around. Plenty of parking spaces. Room for 3 cars. The verandas were fab. Plenty of room on both verandas. The property was large enough for plenty of people and very cosy. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus.

The only downside was the little bit of road going to the property was quite bumpy and the cold water tap wasn’t working in the main bathroom shower but could be easily rectified.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

Everything was as expected if not better. We enjoyed the views from the windows in all rooms and especially from the hot tub. The castle is lit up at night which adds a great background when relaxing in the bubbles. The open plan kitchen lounge and dining room layout of the house was ideal for us with kids. The house was lovely and clean and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

An absolutely stunning farm house in a magical setting. Myself and my partner have stressful jobs, and live near Manchester, so to come here for absolute peace and tranquility was well needed, and couldn’t be faulted.

The farm house is kept to a high standard, with everything you needed within. Check in was easy, and we were contacted to ensure we knew who to turn to should we need any help.

The location is right on the Black Mountain, and weather conditions naturally can make the property a bit difficult to navigate to and from, however the road isn’t too bad, but we were glad for our 4x4!

The views and remoteness you get for this however are well worth it!

We will 100% be staying here again, and look forward to our next trip here. We already miss it terribly x
