Beautiful apartment, extremely well presented, very comfy bed, with all the amenities you could possibly need, quiet building in a perfect location, excellent, helpful service from the hosts, cannot fault anything about the my stay here. Will definitely be staying again.

This place was perfect for me and my friend.
It was perfectly clean.. simple and equipped well enough to cook and prepare food.
The beds were comfortable and 2 bathrooms . Table and chairs outside for eating when the sunshines.
The restaurant in the attached hotel is a must try.. great food and lovely friendly service.
Short drive to the beach.. but as far as i know.. no pubs/shops to walk to ..but beautiful places for walking..

Stayed at Chapel View. A few teething problems as brand new but dealt with brilliantly and quickly by GWE and the lovely owners who live next door. Beautiful cottage - didn’t want to leave!!! And would hugely recommend local walks and a trip to Pendine Sands. And Tapas from the Ferryman which is 2 doors down!!

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

Our second stay in Round Park and we will definitely be back again! Everything we needed for 8 of plus dog. Having the annex too, was great! Thanks Michelle, Jac and all the Great Welsh Escapes team.😃

The boat house is exactly as described, there is lots of outside space which was perfect for the dogs and fully fenced.
The house is on the small side, but had everything we needed. There is little headspace upstairs, but was fine for our two boys.
Having the pool to ourselves was amazing and it is huge!
Richard was on hand a great host.
Location is perfect, 15 mins max to the beach. Chip shop, shop and pub within a 5 min drive.

Can prepare our own food like at home. All the facilities were provided. Really enjoyed the hot tub. friendly owners.

Very happy with our stay at Lloret this past weekend. Cracking little place, with fantastic views of Laugharne Castle and the estuary. I honestly can’t think of one thing to find fault with!
Hopefully we’ll be returning the same time next year.

The Cors House ist ein ehemaliges Hotel. Es liegt in einem großen Garten und bietet alles, was man sich vom Countrystyle-life erwartete. Eine große Wohnküche, gemütliche Zimmer und atemberaubende Ausblicke in den Garten. Perfekt für Gruppen geeignet, um hier ein Wochenende mit Freunden zu verbringen. Die Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten von Laugharne sind einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus ist liebevoll mit Kunst aller Art und interessanten Objekten dekoriert, Highlight ist sicherlich die eigene Bar des Hauses mit Billardtisch.

Great place to stay with a family. Very clean and in a beautiful location!

We had a great stay at the cottage. It was even more lovely than the photo's. There was lots of space and it worked well for two couples. The living room was so cosy especially with the fire going, great garden for doggie too. Very handy to have a Co-op a short drive down the road and a bonus that it's open till 10pm. If you're planning on eating out for dinner at any local pubs it's probably best to book in advance especially if you're taking doggie. That said we had a great meal at the Savoy Country Inn which is a 15 minute drive away. I'd definitely stay at Maesteg Cottage again :0)

I've stayed in many places on the UK and this was by far the best weekend I've ever had. There's far too much to list that was good, it literally had everything and so much more!

There's absolutely nothing I could say that I didn't like about this accommodation.

Really lovely, high end, well equipped, clean, spacious house in a great location. We had a great week. Plenty to do in the local area with excellent beaches very close by.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. We had such a lovely stay here and we would love to come back. Ros got back to us very quickly if we had any questions and kindly let us check out later. She was a brilliant host.

Absolutely beautiful setting for us. Felt quite and out the way but still close enough to grab groceries. We had a car so we was happy to drive to the top beaches in wales each day from here was around 50 minutes really happy with our pick with this one Highly recommended

Jess was very responsive and helpful. Our son got very high fever on the last day and Emily was very kind to extend our check out by a whole hour. The house in itself is gorgeous and extremely clean just as the pictures. However, in regards to the location of the house, it’s not close to either the beach or the castle unlike the impression we got from the pictures posted. It’s in the middle of a farm residential area. Our son quite enjoyed waking up to the mooing of cows but the stench of the cow manure does waft through the house if you open the doors and the windows. All in all, we did enjoy our stay at the house immensely.

Wonderful, relaxing stay and the house had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable with lovely quality linen. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful garden amongst the amazing plants. Would love to visit again. Jac is an excellent host, proactive and really helpful with lots of information in the guide. We enjoyed our stay so much we added an extra night. I’m sure we will be back.

Lovely warm, modern top floor apartment. Tastefully decorated with little accessories, made it feel restful and peaceful. Beautiful view from the comfortable lounge window across the bay. The kitchen had every gadget you may want to use to cook or serve food. We used the fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

Our navigation app took us to the wrong side of the main road, so we had to make contact for directions on arrival. Easy parking at the complex. Well sited in walking distance of the beaches and town centre.

Excellent bungalow, very cosy and well equipped. Dog friendly with fairly secure back garden. Michelle and Helen, the owner were very helpful and suggested good places to eat and visit. Had a delicious dinner at Brown’s Hotel and brilliant fish and chips from the wonderful woman in the local fish and chip shop in Laugharne. A really lovely holiday, thank you.

We chose this beautiful home for my 60th birthday celebration with all my family and it did not disappoint us. The property was spacious and so very well equipped throughout. There is plenty of car park space too. The 5 bedrooms with 3 of the 4 double bedded rooms having en-suite bathrooms with a family bathroom for the other double and twin attic bedroom. Unfortunately the 3 nights stay wasn’t long enough and wished stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jac for the welcome pack of local produce together with my 60th balloon which was an added touch much appreciated. The bar and pool table were used each night. It was a great way to celebrate with my family thank you for everything

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Had a lovely stay, the team at Great Welsh Escapes were always there and proactive in reaching out. They also messaged to check we had found everything OK.

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Would very much recommend this cottage as a beautiful, relaxing base for the area. A home from home.

I stayed at The Cors Country House with my family for 4 nights in early September 2021 and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! The Cors is a really stunning place to stay - the house is full of character and very comfortable with lots of fun 'extras' like the pool room, the cinema room and lots of games - and the garden is enormous and very tranquil and beautifully kept! The owners were also very hospitable and responsive and suggested many 'hidden gems' in the nearby area for us to explore, which we loved! We would definitely come back to the Cors or one of the other holiday properties that are available from Great Welsh Escapes - it's a great local company and we 100% recommend them! We had a lovely stay at Gwalia House. Everything was just as described. Very comfortable beds, kitchen very well equipped and the house was beautifully furnished throughout. Very good communication from the agent. There is plenty to do nearby - particular highlight was Barafundle Bay area - there is a stunning circular walk which takes about 3 hours starting from Bosherton Lily Ponds. We also had a delicious supper across the road at Dexters - but you need to book well in advance. All in all - highly recommended!

Sunny Bank is an outstanding place to stay for a short or long break as it is remarkably well equipped with everything you require.

Immaculate throughout, extremely spacious making it easily accessible for disabled and wheelchair users .

Outside, the gardens are accessible, there are seating areas with extensive views across the countryside.

A hot tub to relax in the day or night ..just perfect.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the
"Welcome Hamper" and Fresh goods milk ,juice eggs etc .
This was a delightful thought and very much appreciated. Thank you Huw and Hazel for all your help.

Great stay in a central Laugharne position. We would happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this house. We went with our 4 teenagers and it was enjoyed by all. The house is in a lovely small quiet village with lovely walks on your doorstep and some great places to eat . Teenagers also enjoyed the pubs. Great location for day trips to explore South Wales.

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

We just had a wonderful week staying at Wildhaven. A perfect way to unplug by soaking up the peaceful solitude of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The property has been renovated with great care and attention. A luxurious and modern home from home with that essential vintage farmhouse feel retained throughout. We’ll be back for sure.

Ideal place to spend a week with the family. The Cors has very impressive gardens and a peaceful location with uniquely styled rooms. An excellent location for walks , pubs, castle & Dylan's Boathouse.

Utterly wow from the first month you pull on onto a rather steep driveway.Everything is of such good quality.Kitchen so well stocked to wonder shower & bathroom.The TV for none technical ladies was a challenge but eventually got there.The hot tub view we just didn't want to get out.Beds are so comfy & a goodnight sleep was had by us all.If you don't want to cook they definitely had a good range of place's to eat & drink.We will definitely be coming back just stunning

Great Welsh Escapes' "Gwalia" in Laugharne is an amazing house, steeped in history and beautifully decorated. An ideal base from where to explore the fabulous Welsh beaches and countryside, you will return from there recharged and refreshed. Great local restaurants literally on the doorstep mean you can enjoy fantastic food without having to worry about cooking for yourselves, although there is also a small supermarket 2 minute walk away. We have been twice. We will return again.

As for Great Welsh Escapes themselves, they are friendly, easy to contact and responsive. A great outfit that you can trust.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Fantastic house, fantastic setting. If you are travelling in this area of the world you need to stay here.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the welcome hamper in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to the hot tub out the back which we enjoyed.Hazel even popped over after we had checked in to make sure everything was fine for us which was very nice of her,the area was very quiet and peaceful with the lovely views ideal for a relaxing holiday especially with Tenby just 25 minute's drive away we will definitely be booking again next year

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

We loved everything about the barn and chaffhouse and the children are wanting us to buy a barn of our own. The barn is perfect and the area is stunning. We've been staycationing in Croyde for years and moving forward we have decided to make this our new staycation venue. Very Impressed. Comfortably accommodated our family - Mum, Dad and 4 children, 6, 4, 2 and 5 months.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

We went over Christmas for a relaxing break and had a wonderful time. The cottage is close to Dylan Thomas's Boathouse and great pubs. The estuary is beautiful and the locals very friendly. Would definitely love to go back. Thanks

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Banks. We loved the place, the location and the additional touches (bottle of bubbly, tea/coffee and treats). The dining area is a great size and wonderfully situated and if the weather had been better we would have made more use of the garden and the BBQ. It was very clean on arrival and the kitchen is well stocked with crockery and utensils. Sea Banks is a short walk from Saundersfoot centre and Wiseman's Bridge and is on a bus route if you want to explore further without using the car. I walked part of the South Pembrokeshire Coastal path into Tenby and was able to catch a bus back almost to the door. We also explored further afield to Marloes, Pembroke and Haverfordwest. The administration, communication and management was good - Great Welsh Escapes were responsive throughout.

What an amazing house - huge, comfortable and well-equipped. The swimming pool was an extra bonus. A really special place in a fantastic location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It is on quite a busy road and the bedrooms at the front do get traffic noise so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. In the loft, the chairs are quite old and rickety and the water was not connected to the tap in the kitchen. But these were minor irritations in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Michelle could not have been more helpful or welcoming. When there was a power cut one morning and we could not prepare breakfast she organised for us all to have breakfast from a local cafe. There were lovely welsh treats for us when we arrived so we had local goodies on hand. Thanks very much to Michelle for all her hospitality.

A great place to use as a base to explore the area and has a good very long beach , the walk down to the beach is very steep so could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues , best to check tides too as it was not possible to walk on the beach if the tide was in but there are places to eat or drink and just gaze at the sea .
Nearby Laugherne and Narberth are lovely friendly bustling places to visit .

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was lovely and it is clear that it is a very well looked after home. It’s easy to find and we had such a lovely time and were very comfortable. We appreciated everything and the host is a very nice lady who was a joy to speak to.

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

Although it's in MOD land, that didn't get in the way as we spent most of our daytime before 4pm, at a nearby beach at Pendine. Also we wanted somewhere out of the way, that would be quiet, without other holiday makers around. The owners have gone to a lot of effort with nice touches and quality of kitchen facilities was important to us as we prefer having evening meals made by ourselves. The walk in shower and bathtub is big. We enjoyed the fire pit outside at night and everything here was high quality.

We had a great week in Lloret. Beautifully clean bungalow with all you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Jac kept in touch by text to make sure we were ok. We would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

Booked for a birthday get away for a group of friends. The property was perfect and Great Welsh Escapes were friendly and helpful in all contact.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. Straightforward, a great experience and customer centric. I had the pleasure of booking with Great Welsh Escapes back in early March, and I was really happy right the way from calling up and booking to experiencing the delightful Cors Country House. Every step of the booking process was joyously simplistic and it's great to see that personal customer service of this quality still exists today. A magnificent home with fantastic contained garden and pool area for entertaining and family

We had a great week in Lloret. Beautifully clean bungalow with all you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Jac kept in touch by text to make sure we were ok. We would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

Lovely bungalow with extensive garden just a shame it’s not gated to make it safer for dogs and children. Handy position close to the village of Laugharne. Would gladly stay again. Great to have Jac on the end of the phone if needed. A lovely personal touch.

Lovely farmhouse located in wonderful and peaceful location in the Brecon Beacons. Great surroundings and view. It has a nice big garden that is good to relax in and watch the sun set on an evening. It is very quiet and peaceful that is perfect to get away from it all.
Very comfortable furniture to relax in. Nice and functional kitchen with great electric cooker that is easy to use and gets the job done.
Had a few house spiders inside but that is to be expected with the location in the countryside and they were easily removed and put back into nature.

Overall, really nice stay and would go back and stay again.

Very clean well equipped property. Very welcoming hosts. Great location to explore.

A home from home in a beautiful location.
We chose The Cors as a group of friends with small children to spend our New Years celebrations.
Everything about it was perfect from start to finish!
Ideal location for lovely dog walks (which were even lovely in the rain) a beautiful garden to admire and an immaculate house full to the brim with everything and more than you need!
The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a must to visit!
Jac as a host went above and beyond from start to finish for us, from answering questions before our arrival to going out of his way to replace items whilst we were there!
Cannot recommend this house enough, it’s an ideal family home to enjoy quality time together in an ideal location.

We were 4 adults and happy to drive all over Pembrokeshire each day from St Clears but if you have small children you may wish to stay closer to the coast.

A beautifully appointed, comfortable home to stay in. Stunning views and everything you need nearby. We stayed in November and enjoyed some snow. The dogs loved the beach at Pendine.

Beautiful. Fabulous kitchen and outdoor space. Very comfy beds and excellent showers.
My only slight criticism is the lounge sitting area isn’t very comfy. Thankfully we were only 2 people but would have struggled with 4/6.

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.
We will be back!

Lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by great views and only the sheep and birds for neighbours. Great for a quiet getaway.
House is nicely decorated with modern touches and comfortable. The large window in the reception room is great especially when slightly too cold to sit outside as it was on our stay.
For those with dogs. The garden is enclosed to a point however a small dog could probably get through the main gate and one part of the fencing had buckled slightly. I think our bernedoodle would have had a go at jumping that part given half the chance.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

Great spacious property, with all mod cons required. Spotlessly clean and really comfortable beds. Walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

This property is ideally located next to the grocery shop, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. Especially marvelous was the the view of the massive castle and relics across from the property and dusk light reflecting off the castle walls that we could see from upstairs windows. The locals were very friendly and happy to fill us in on curiously spelt Welsh place names and local information. The property was exceptionally well presented and clean with car parking right out the front

More than we expected. Decorated for Christmas and a lovely hamper. The view was beautiful and forever changing. The peace and tranquility. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had such a lovely stay at the Cors, the location was beautiful and very secluded. The house inside was stunning and absolutely spotless, and the kids found it all very exciting. Jac was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions I had, and we will definitely return in the future. I would highly recommend The Cors to anyone looking for somewhere to stay with a large group!

The pictures don’t do it justice, perfect location so peaceful we slept like logs. House was brilliant and clean, hot tub amazing. Hanna was the perfect host and helped us with anything we needed and was understanding when a few things happened (our toddler may have taken a remote back home with us🤦‍♀️) can’t recommend this place enough! We can’t wait to return

Michelle was a great host and the house is newly modernised. A great space for sharing some time away with family or friends.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful and lovely to be among the farm. Swimming pool and Sauna were excellent. The boathouse was lovely and cosy. Just great.

A fabulous property, full of character. Spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. In centre of Laugharne so great for exploring the town. Welcome gifts on arrival much appreciated. Great Welsh Escapes were helpful and quick to respond to our queries, we would be happy to use them again.

Lack of parking at property could have been an issue but we had no problems parking in the small, nearby carpark.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

The team enjoyed their stay, beds were super comfy. The housekeeper sent a note regarding plastic in a very old frying pan.

Such a lovely place to stay, we slept so well! Look forward to returning here again.

We had a 3 night stay at Dylan's Den in Laugharne and it was amazing. 4 well appointed en-suite bedrooms and a lovely cosy lounge area and kitchen. Plenty of room for the 7 of us (and our dog)
We were also left a comprehensive welcome pack which was gratefully received. If you haven't been to Laugharne then you really should add it to your list of places to visit. Wonderful.
Jac was very communicative throughout our stay, checking in that all was well, which of course it was, but it we still appreciated the fact he cared. We would love to return to Laugharne one day and would certainly aim to stay at Dylan's Den when we do..Thanks again.

This is a lovely, modern property outside Laugharne with a very friendly and helpful host. We stayed during the heatwave so the BBQ supplied was ideal for our stay. The area is stunning with plenty of lovely walks. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

The property was fantastic. Everything that was stated on the site was accurate. The house is in a lovely location (up a hill), a short walk in to town, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The hosts had left us a welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch. We had taken two cars and parking was not a problem. The house was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five adults in our party. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we went back to Tenby.

Very easy check in and out. Amazing location with fantastic walks. Apartment was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. We will be back next year to explore more! Highly recommend it.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.
