The cottage was as expected really cosy, clean and well equipped. Ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
We recommend it whole heartedly for a relaxing break for two..

Excellent stay.
Direction given were easy to follow.
upon arrival we had a card and hamper waiting for us on the table which was definitely a nice touch.
The cottage was spotless clean and had every possible thing you can think of to make our stay comfortable. we felt at home straight away.
The host, Hazel was easily reachable and so very friendly.
10 mins drive in to town and 10 mins away from the beach and castle. in a very quiet and peaceful area.
highlight was the hot tub.
I will definitely be visiting again.

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

My only comment is to take care on the local roads as some become impassable without warning.
Be careful using Waze!

Beautiful historic house in a peaceful location with amenities in easy reach. The swimming pool is small but great for cooling off and the evening sun on the terrace made it feel quite Mediterranean. Huge rooms and lots of space, we hardly used a couple of the rooms at all. The top floor is great for kids or a family with children as it’s quite open plan. Would highly recommend it for a large family group.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Great House. The rooms are as magnificent as the photos suggest. I'd highly recommend staying here if you are after a slice of grandeur.

Stayed at Awel Taf, lovely property, nice and spacious, a good base for visiting local beaches.

What a fantastic trip. A lovely large bungalow with everything you could ever need for a relaxing family vacation. Well equipped kitchen with a large dining table for board games and meals. Lovely living room with blu ray and comfy sofas and chairs. Lots of space for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 children and a dog with more to sapre. Lovely personal touches by the hosts Jac and Michelle, the Welsh cakes and wine were a lovely touch as was the help with directions. Highly recommended.

We all hade a great time in Laugharne, it was great to get away from the busy life we all have.

Had a lovely stay, the team at Great Welsh Escapes were always there and proactive in reaching out. They also messaged to check we had found everything OK.

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Everything about it. Fantastic place in a beautiful location. The Cors has everything you need. We were 6 adults and 3 children. Loads of room. Pool table, bar, cinema room. Can't fault this place. Truly stunning. Jac was great with communication and I'm sure would do anything for you. Loved every minute of the stay.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

Straightforward, a great experience and customer centric. I had the pleasure of booking with Great Welsh Escapes back in early March, and I was really happy right the way from calling up and booking to experiencing the delightful Cors Country House. Every step of the booking process was joyously simplistic and it's great to see that personal customer service of this quality still exists today. Maes Y Mêl was absolutely beautiful - the property was spotless, it was a very cosy feel and the decor was amazing! I stayed for 8 days and did not want to leave as it was so homely inside! The views from around the property are breath taking! Both hosts living next to the property were lovely and very accommodating! I was left with some homemade honey from on the farm and some eggs from the chickens! Both delicious 10/10 all round!

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

We had the best week at The Cors. We had everything we needed to hand. The house was perfect, the space and gardens were ideal. The communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We loved visiting the nearby beaches and little village. Would definitely recommend!

Superb accommodation and location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, you pay a little more for this type of accommodation, but it really is worth it. My children, normally very fussy, adored their bedrooms and the whole house, which is full of character. Ideally placed within the village, and whilst there is no parking with the property, we never had a problem finding a parking space within a few footsteps, even in the school holidays. Pubs and restaurants are within a stone throw, and all are excellent. It's a very relaxing village, with beautiful walks, and superb beaches within easy travelling distance. We love the area, and will be back.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a place with full sized fridge freezer. The whole place was very clean. It is very remote. Only a few cars drive by during the day. Ideal spot for local walking. Had a great time at the local castle. The lawn was cut a few days into our stay which made enjoying the garden easier. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this property is great. Hosts are very warm and takes guest's comfort very seriously. We were welcomed with Easter treats and a delicious welsh cake. The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

The house is situated high on a hill overlooking beautiful farmland and the beach. It was so incredibly peaceful to sit on the veranda. The beds were very comfortable and the place was decorated beautifully. The cupboards were labelled and stocked with everything you could need for cooking a family meal.

The en-suite shower pressure wasn’t the strongest, but still nice and warm. We didn’t have fire wood for the wood burner, but didn’t need to use it because the weather was lovely! No complaints though! Would book again!

What a lovely property! Three double bedrooms, all with en-suites. The house is high-spec with everything supplied that you could wish for. I heartily recommend if you are a Dylan Thomas fan or just want to check out the area. Response to issues was also super-quick.

Absolutely amazing place, brilliant location and stunning garden. House is well equipped and sparkling clean, we especially loved the bar area brilliant for cocktail making and the amazing Sonos sound system. The garden is so lovely and we made the most of it and had our yoga session outside.

What a fantastic place, we had a wonderful time here and would visit again. Place was warm and cosy and very clean upon arrival, with all that you could need if you hadn't had chance to pick up any food at the shops (coffee, tea, wine, milk & even soup). The house is beautifully styled and the log burning fires were perfect for the rainy, cold days of which we had a few. We had good response to our messages even over the Easter BH weekend, they did everything to ensure we had a good time.

Our stay at Sunnybank was just perfect. The location was unbelievable, peaceful and quiet and the view of fields upon fields was incredible.
The hosts were brilliant, very informative, left us to it but made it clear if we needed anything at all not to hesitate to ask.
They had everything you can imagine there for you, the place was spotless and a gorgeous welcome hamper on arrival made our stay.
We did some beautiful local walks, and the hot tub was an absolute bonus. Especially at night with the clear skies.

A beautiful cottage right in the centre of Laugharne. Beautifully clean and everything there we needed, including some beautifully fresh bread and butter on arrival, after a 3 hour journey it was most welcome.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

A lovely house, with fantastic gardens. Perfect place to stay and relax for a week with three generations of our family getting together. Minutes walk into town, plenty to do in the area and it’s such a nice place to stay you’ll be happy just staying in, even when it’s raining. If anything, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos - though we were also lucky with the sunshine.

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

Lovely place to stay, very well cleaned and well maintained. Has all essential amenities to make the stay comfortable and relaxing.

Hazel could not of been anymore hospitable could she of tried. We had a stunning welcome pack and then Hazel went above and beyond with some eggs and after she spent a morning strawberry picking she even shared what she had gathered with us. The location is remote but perfect. Stunning bungalow with amazing and tranquil views from every window and the most well equipped air BnB I have ever stayed in. Honestly we did not want for anything. From a bbq, fans, torches, shower items, robes, towels - you name it. And the hot tub just topped it off!!
We struggled to get in touch with Welsh Escapes for check in info.
But please rest assured, Hazels place is well worth the money and Hazel is super friendly and super helpful. And the communication initially is with Welsh Escapes and not Hazel directly.

Great stay! Location was excellent , 10 minute walk into the village, easy drive to Tenby, Pembroke and beyond. Felt ‘home from home’ - great thought has been given to those little extras, like the ample herbs and spices, the magnifying mirror and the very comfortable bed. Lovely three night stay which we’d love to repeat!

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. Beautiful apartment on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the sea. Cosy vibe and great Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of good quality utensils and a dish washer. Heating is very good. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My Wife and I feel really relaxed after a wonderful stay at this fantastic rural location. We ate dinner outside every night watching the sun go down. The chickens certainly kept us entertained too! You will not be disappointed booking to stay here.

What an amazing house - huge, comfortable and well-equipped. The swimming pool was an extra bonus. A really special place in a fantastic location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It is on quite a busy road and the bedrooms at the front do get traffic noise so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. In the loft, the chairs are quite old and rickety and the water was not connected to the tap in the kitchen. But these were minor irritations in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Michelle could not have been more helpful or welcoming. When there was a power cut one morning and we could not prepare breakfast she organised for us all to have breakfast from a local cafe. There were lovely welsh treats for us when we arrived so we had local goodies on hand. Thanks very much to Michelle for all her hospitality.

Awesome Taf is a great location to be when visiting carmerthen , it is actually withing 25 mins drive to Oakwood theme park, 24mins to Dinosaur park, Heathertons etc and 3.5 miles to Pembroke Castle and very close to McDonald's. The host was very nice, the house was 100percent very clean. Very comfortable felt like home.

Very well appointed house with all mod cons. Tons of parking space - and an easy woodland amble down to the metropolis that is Laugharne.
Great village stores for all the things you forgot and a friendly neighbour (we couldn’t track down) who let in the grocery delivery which pitched up 24 hours early!

Had a super stay at the Barn and Chaffhouse in Castlemartin. It was ideally located for glorious beaches and scenery. Very well appointed and great hosts. Would recommend a stay here anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at Wildhaven. The cottage is beautifully situated with incredible views. The cottage itself is exceptionally well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Very dog-friendly. t's a perfect base for exploring the Black Mountains. We highly recommend it.

Better than expected and a pleasure to return to after days out. Could relax and enjoy the comfort, the hot tub, off road parking and the views. Certainly deserves five stars. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Beautiful house with a very high level of comfort and well equipped with everything needed. Excellent location. Unfortunately the Covid situation means that some businesses are not fully open or open at all at the moment but those that were, were very friendly. Great to see that the preventative measures are being taken very seriously both in Laugharne and West Wales generally.

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. All the facilities at the property were in excellent condition. Beds very comfortable. Lovely views. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

It was a good place, we had a good time and the owner was very communicative and very helpful.
We had issues with wifi not working during our stay, looks like it was an BT issue (BT were called and attended but couldn't rectify the issue). Which did rob us off some quality time in the evenings.
If not everything was really good.
I would recommend this place.

We loved staying at this place! The upstairs living area was clean and tidy- loads of dishes and containers we could use. TV was a great size to cosy up on the couch and watch the sunset over the castle. We were there on the day the market was- which was nice. There is a great hour long coastal walk which is beautiful. Check out the days the Laugharne Castle is open- because for a couple days a week it’s closed and when you’re staying near by- you’ll definitely want to check out the castle you see each day.
Loved that both rooms had a private en-suite too and that there was an additional loo upstairs. Highly recommend this place to stay

A brilliant 3 night stay at Cors Country House in Laugharne. Great value for money and ideal facilities for a big group (we had 7 but ample room for several more) including comfortable rooms, bar, pool table & the cinema room is an amazing space! I’d thoroughly recommend this venue and the company who were very responsive throughout our stay, making everything hassle free.

The venue is also very well placed to discover Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We managed to do some outdoor activities such as climbing & archery at nearby Pendine as well as taking in the coastal path between Saundersfoot & Tenby which was just 25 mins drive away.

We booked this place last minute and we wasn’t disappointed, upon arrival down the driveway we was amazed. The house impressed us in many ways, quirky, stylish, comfortable, homely, different but most of all very enjoyable. The host kept in contact with us throughout our stay, great rooms for entertaining, including the bar area. We enjoyed our short break immensely. Thank you very much

It’s a beautiful home and the location is very peaceful perfect for evening walks….Only downside is the parking issue as the street is quite a busy street.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the hosts very welcoming. They gave us bara brith cake, rose wine and biscuits. Supplied tea, coffee, sugar and a host of ‘extras’ for our stay.

Lovely little cottage in a fantastic location. Cosy, warm, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean. Perfect for a couple. Laugharne itself is well-worth a visit, and the location of Chapel View in the village couldn’t be better. Definitely try the Deli (Ferryman’s) 4 doors down for a day-time meal, and for a treat, go to Brown’s Hotel, again just a few steps away, for a drink and/or a meal. Kitchen in cottage is well-equipped if you want to cook your own food. Hosting is done through a company (Great Welsh Escapes). Don’t let this put you off. They do it really well and have thought of everything, with regular communication and a personal touch in all they do. Would definitely book this place again. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The view across the Village to Laugharne Castle and the estuary is breath taking.
The bungalow was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was well used during the week.
The tea, coffee, waffles and prosecco on arrival were a lovely surprise and most welcome.
The location is ideal as a base to visit a number of costal resorts such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Even St David's is only an hour away. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Fabulous house, comfy beds, well equipped, generous and attentive host (who even left a lovely basket of foods for our arrival). But the Cors is more than all of this - from the amazing garden to the heron that kept appearing and hanging out to the many crows in the trees - this place is magical

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

A spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and comfortable apartment just a short walk away from the sea front. A very relaxing break where everything had been thought of.

The door key to the apartment doesn't fit easily into the lock as it is slightly bent. Checkout at 11am would be much more relaxing than 10am especially as guests are asked to strip the bed and collect up the towels before departure. The sloped low ceilings in the bathroom, dining area and bedroom resulted in a few bumped heads. Scaffolding outside spoiled the view

Ideal place to spend a week with the family. The Cors has very impressive gardens and a peaceful location with uniquely styled rooms. An excellent location for walks , pubs, castle & Dylan's Boathouse.

Great House is a lovely place to stay.It is old and quirky and really big so everyone has loads of space and their own (Website hidden by Airbnb) stocked modern kitchen,lovely raised patio for Al fresco dining and of course the heated pool.On the main Street so handy for the local deli and convenience store We also booked some big shops from Tesco .(Put a sign out for them to find you).

We had a fantastic stay at Wildhaven - the remote location was exactly the break we needed.
The house is as lovely as the pictures, well equipped and extremely peaceful.
The weather wasn’t great the week we stayed but it didn’t matter! We had one clear night and the blanket of stars in the sky was magical. The WiFi was good and phone reception ok. We’d recommend staying!

We just had a wonderful week staying at Wildhaven. A perfect way to unplug by soaking up the peaceful solitude of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The property has been renovated with great care and attention. A luxurious and modern home from home with that essential vintage farmhouse feel retained throughout. We’ll be back for sure.

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

A wondefil cottge with stunning views good quality furnishings and bedding/towels. Very approachable owners . Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

We spent two weeks in this lovely bungalow which is much bigger than the pictures suggest.

A superb apartment with gorgeous sea views and everything you would need is supplied. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again and again. .

Nice apartment very close to beach just up the hill. Sea views and well appointed inside.
Parking space was a real bonus for evening visits to town avoided having to pay for parking in town.
