The location and view from the property was simply stunning.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

I would highly recommend this property.

This property is at the top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the countryside. There is an outdoor garden area with a lawn that was perfect for our grandson to run and explore. The unit is spacious with all you need to cook, wash clothes, and relax. This was our favorite place to stay during our holiday.

This did not bother us, but there are no shops or restaurants in the village. You need to make a short drive to nearby villages for supplies.

The views was amazing, apartment was very clean and comfortable.

This place is lovely spacious clean and well equipped .Hazel (the host ) popped past to make sure we had everything we needed and left us a lovely hamper. I will definitely return.if I had one very small negative comment it would be the booking in on line with great Welsh escapes .quite simple when Jess their employee guided me through the process and sending me a link to follow just a bit annoying as I booked it through Airbnb who already have all the details I repeated on the online booking form . Never the less this fabulous place was worth the extra form to fill in thank you very much hazel

Lovely bungalow, peaceful. Fantastic views. Great location to go site seeing. All close by. Kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Spacious . The veranda was lovely with comfortable chairs to sit out and chill.

An amazing property in a very quiet, rural setting. The property is spacious, quaint and very much an older character style house with an amazing, large garden. We took a croquet set and had plenty of space for that. Our small dog had her own 'holiday' in the garden. The house is well equipped, plenty of hot water, beds are comfy, bedlinen is fresh and good quality. Plenty of towels and also soap in every bathroom/sink. The house is not immediately near shops but its not too far to the nearest Co-op or Tesco at Pembroke Dock. The host is very helpful and responsive.

Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views of the sea and countryside.
We visited with 2 children aged 10 and 12. All had a brilliant time visiting the local beaches and just enjoying the lovely cottage.

We had days out in Tenby and Pendine, as well as a beautiful walk down to Amroth beach. The house is welcoming and felt like home straight away, the hosts left us some lovely tea, coffee and other items as a nice surprise when we arrived. We had everything we needed for our stay, and we’re able to pop out to the local co op for food and drink during the week, about a 10 minute drive away.

Fantastic break at Brofallen and none of us wanted to leave!!

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

It was a lovely bungalow. Everything which was needed to feel at home was present. All of the things for use were very high quality 👌. There was also a gift pack for us. Bottle of Milk Juice and wine was also given.

We came back today stayed 5 nights over Christmas. Myself, wife and our golden doodle Alfie. Views are amazing short 5 mins drive to Laugharne and 10 minutes to pendine. Super private and we were not bothered at all during our stay.
Super cosy and our dog loved wandering in the private garden.

Lovely spacious and well equipped house in a beautiful setting. It offered everything we needed to settle in and relax for a long weekend, with the ability to verge out for local walks to the beach and castle. Would recommend for large groups - great outdoor area as well as large drive for parking.

Charlotte is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The barn is wonderful and a lovely peaceful place to relax. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended! We’ll look forward to visiting again.

The hosts were excellent, could not be more helpful and gave access to the farm where the cottage is located. Just follow normal countryside rules. Do not disturb the animals, if you open a gate then close it behind you...etc.

I stayed here when visiting with family in the area. The view is stunning, the space is clean and well decorated and has everything you could need. I highly recommend staying here.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

Unspoilt countryside, total privacy. Great to have a pool, jacuzzi bath and say to hello to the cows every morning whilst looking over the lake. We visited with our 8 month old and our 2 dogs. We all loved it. Even got a massage treatment at the property. Thank you!

The bungalows position is first class giving extremely beautiful views. Simply put in total it's a must come back situation. If there is a down side it would appear the time goes quicker staying here..

Me and my family had stayed at Drefach from the 31st of August till the 4th of September. Instructions for checking in were straightforward. The property itself was very clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates and cutlery as well as some essential cooking ingredients. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was brilliant. Overall, we all had a great time, including our dog who enjoyed his stay. We would recommend this property.

The family had a wonderful weekend. The house is perfect for celebrating a family occasion. Very easy to walk to the village and we had a fantastic lunch at Dexter’s. Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

We had a much needed, relaxing week in Tenby in some really sunny April weather. The flat's location is very central and has a great view of the harbour. We had all of the amenities we needed and would consider returning to Tenby again!

Very clean and well furnished with everything you need for a good stay

The house is situated high on a hill overlooking beautiful farmland and the beach. It was so incredibly peaceful to sit on the veranda. The beds were very comfortable and the place was decorated beautifully. The cupboards were labelled and stocked with everything you could need for cooking a family meal.

The en-suite shower pressure wasn’t the strongest, but still nice and warm. We didn’t have fire wood for the wood burner, but didn’t need to use it because the weather was lovely! No complaints though! Would book again!

The Cors was ideal for us, a party of two families with 5 teenagers between us. The house itself was homely and charming, and the location is great to explore this stunning part of Wales. Plenty of space to get together as a group, or to have some time to yourself.

Fantastic location, really quiet and peaceful but also not too far away from supermarkets, beaches, coastal walks and tourist attractions.
We loved walking through the woods down to the creek every day to see what was new (lots of autumn colours and fungi in our case). We don't normally visit the same place twice but in this case we are already planning the next trip!

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

We had a lovely stay at Gwalia House. Everything was just as described. Very comfortable beds, kitchen very well equipped and the house was beautifully furnished throughout. Very good communication from the agent. There is plenty to do nearby - particular highlight was Barafundle Bay area - there is a stunning circular walk which takes about 3 hours starting from Bosherton Lily Ponds. We also had a delicious supper across the road at Dexters - but you need to book well in advance. All in all - highly recommended!

Very spacious for the number of guests. It was a great location for a multi generation family trip. we didn't have great weather but nobody was bored. The house was stunning, the pictures don't do it justice.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The view was truly incredible and made every moment feel special. The house was spotless and had everything you could possibly need — nothing was missing.
The house itself was very spacious, stylish, and lovely and warm inside, making it incredibly comfortable and welcoming. We were also so touched by the thoughtful Welsh treats left for us — wine, cheese, and shortbread — such a lovely and generous gesture.
Everything about our stay was just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway!

what didn’t I like would be easier to answer! the building is beautiful and very comfortable. the set up was perfect for my family especially with the mezzanine floor bedroom which gave my daughters the space they needed. it has everything we needed and more!

…the cold tap in the kitchen was a bit noisy, that’s all I can think of!

I really enjoyed my time at The Boathouse. A very beautiful part of the Welsh countryside. The company and the owner were very accommodating with recommendations as to where to go and solutions. It very much served it’s purpose!

There was nothing we did not like.

We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Cors. Large house and beautiful garden. Well located for amenities and beautiful countryside.

We had a lovely few days at The Boathouse. Enjoyed the pool and exploring the beaches nearby. A peaceful stay in a cosy cottage. Thank you!

A beautiful and comfortable flat with everything you could need. The flat is near the centre of Saundersfoot and has a beautiful view of the bay. It is very peaceful with easy access to the coast path for walks. I would be happy to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Beudy at Pentrecelyn. The accomodations were comfortable and so beautiful. The barn has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate. The owners of the property, Colin and Nia, were very friendly and so helpful - we greatly appreciated the ride to the railway station. The farm is beautiful and private, but is a nice walk to town for shopping and dinner. We woud definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing couple of days, the house was spotless and had everything we needed, the grounds are gorgeous and the views were breathtaking, it was so peaceful. We sat watching the sunset from the hot tub to the sound of cows lol it was amazing, we can’t wait to book again! A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

A really nice, well presented property. Spotlessly clean, with all amenities provided. Wonderful shower will plenty of hot water. Nice, fully enclosed courtyard garden which our dogs made full use of. The surrounding countryside and beach is perfect The owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. This is a beautiful place to stay. The view across the Village to Laugharne Castle and the estuary is breath taking.
The bungalow was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was well used during the week.
The tea, coffee, waffles and prosecco on arrival were a lovely surprise and most welcome.
The location is ideal as a base to visit a number of costal resorts such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Even St David's is only an hour away. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The road outside the house was very busy, we come frome a quiet location and we did notice the traffic coming past.

The pool was bigger than expected but perfect to use each day for kids working on their swimming and water confidence.
The host, Richard, was always available, friendly and chatty with the kids when they showed an interest in the animals.

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

A warm and friendly welcome set us on track for a lovely time at Oysterlow Cottage. We were very comfortable and enjoyed really stay. It was a working farm, but the owners were not too busy to chat and help us to enjoy our break. The cottage was well presented and equipped. Lovely and clean.

We had an amazing time at The Cottage Laugharne. The house was very spacious and super comfortable. The views are beautiful. This week away was a family get together in memory of our parents, grandparents and great grandparents, they loved Wales. Thank you for the great memories we have made. ❤️

The Barn and Chaff House was very comfortable. We stayed with our son and young family so the spiral staircases were a bit tricky for the two year old but we were able to cope. The house was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. The garden was great for the kids and the dog - totally enclosed. There is not a lot to do in the village but The beaches at Freshwater West and Broad Haven were absolutely stunning. The pub at stackpole was fantastic. We had a great time and it's a good base to explore from.

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.
