Thoroughly enjoyed our Brofallen week.
The bungalows position is first class giving extremely beautiful views. Simply put in total it's a must come back situation. If there is a down side it would appear the time goes quicker staying here..

We had a great stay with Hugh and Hazel. They'd put a lot of effort into making the home as welcoming to all (including supplies for rainy days). It was comfortable, well stocked (beyond what I'd normally expect) and they'd left us with plenty of recommendations. Couldn't fault them!

We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

We had a wonderful week at Creek Cottage. Waking to the sounds of a song thrush and blackbird and no traffic noise was wonderful. Prue showed us around the house and explained where things are. Steve and Prue were both very friendly and welcoming.
The castle grounds are glorious - with a huge walled garden and 12th century chapel. It was a pleasure to have access to these. Just one note, the drive is a little rutted and quite steep in places. It may not be easy for lower, more sporty cars.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here, so peaceful and isolated. Great place to unwind. Everything you could need, great sound system in the living room with tv and comfy beds. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Had a very lovely mini break at Cliff Haven. Flat was very clean, comfortable, warm and cosy, with a fabulous view of the sea and located very close to the beach. Thank you .

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!
We loved:

- The cleanliness

- The board games for the kids
There is loads to do in the area, we were here for a week and went to:
- Folly Farm
- Local beaches which are all fabulous, especially Llansteffan with the fish & chips
- The National Bird of Prey Centre
- Pembrey Country Park
- Gwili Steam Railway
- Tenby
I highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place, really well located, and the hosts Hazel and High are so nice and have such a great attention to detail.

We’ve Just had a superb week at this lovely property near the beach. All the decor is warm and cosy, mattresses are incredibly comfortable with beautiful linen and towels . The kitchen, which is brand new was so well equipped, more than my own kitchen! We didn’t want for anything. The house was immaculately clean throughout.
We were lucky enough to have some blue skies with a view across the sea. Will be returning to enjoy the Sunny garden in the warmer months.

Everything, the bungalow had the 'Wow' factor in every way Hazel was very welcoming, the views were amazing, it is a real home from home was nice to just chill or explore if you wanted to will definitely stay again

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

It was very clean and had everything you could wish for. They really have thought of everything it was amazing. The hot tub was appreciated after a busy day exploring.

Great place to stay for a weekend by the sea. Very close to Saundersfoot and plenty of space.

The house was lovely, even nicer than the photos. Finish of the house was great, kitchen well equipped and the outside areas were excellent. The driveway was long but no problem, even the Sainsbury delivery driver coped without issue. There isn’t much that can be accessed by foot but this was made clear on the map. We stayed with four children and the house easily accommodated us, all the games and welcome cake were nice touches.

Property was excellent with the facilities and equipment as much as anyone could ask for.
All in all a wonderful weekend.

We, a family of four and a dog had a wonderful time at Brofallen. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything that you could possibly need. It was in such a relaxing quiet spot with amazing views. You do need a car to appreciate the places all around, but there are lots of scenic places to visit that are good for kids and dogs. It was a lovely holiday had by all.

Location was perfect. Ideal for a weekend get away with the family, Plenty of room.

A really lovely property- I stayed with five friends for a long weekend and we loved the space, the kitchen was so well appointed and the bathrooms all lovely. Comfy beds, warm and cosy, and it was easy to find parking which was great with three cars. I’d easily recommend it to others- Laugharne isn’t the most bustling location (loved the Three Mariners pub!) but really easy to get out to Tenby and other beautiful areas around. I only wish we’d had slightly later check out!

We had a great first experience of Pembrokeshire whilst staying here.
The bungalow was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed opening the large bifolds and watching the sunset.
The location was great and allowed us to explore the local beaches and further afield. We were very lucky with the weather!
Our only recommendations would be to review the quality of cooking utensils. We had to buy a bread knife as the one provided was blunt. I would also suggest some better quality pillows in the master bedroom. We had two pillows in 1 pillowcase case which was uncomfortable.
Besides the couple of recommendations, we had a great stay and would recommend!

Stayed a Sunnybank beginning of October for ten days. Immediately when you walk in you can see that the cottage is so clean and fresh. Everything you need for a holiday is there, just like home from home. The hot tub (which is very private) is excellent and so it the games room. The owners were easily contactable if needed. We would highly recommend this cottage. Although we didn't require, the cottage is also ideal if there is a disability shower wise etc. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

An Airbnb that was actually better than the photos! We absolutely loved our stay here and were gobsmacked by how beautiful the place was. We felt like absolute kings/queens!
The place was very neat and tidy considering how big it is to clean. Lots of ammenities and activities to keep you busy inside or outside and walking distance to plenty of nice places close by.
The hosts were also very generous and allowed us to check out slightly later even on short notice.
Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

Highly recommend this property and booking company. The property is a great size for multigenerational holiday, 2 separate living rooms as well as a kitchen-breakfast room and separate dining room and 4 good size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has mobility adaptations including walk in shower room and stairlift should you need it. It’s in a great location for exploring Carmarthen town centre and amenities and numerous beaches in the county and across the boarder into Pembrokeshire. The property itself was in great condition clearly renovated and modernised sympathetically with everything you could need including a hot tub. The owner was on hand and friendly but not intrusive and keen to resolve any issues. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

We had such an amazing time at this place, it was beautiful inside the bungalow and outside with the fantastic scenery and how peaceful it was. The host was very kind and helpful as she came to see us a couple minutes after we arrived to talk us through the hot tub and about the place and nearby attractions. Hot tub was so warm and relaxing, temperature inside the house was comfortable and it was very clean and shiny, I would highly recommend this place to couples who want a peaceful weekend away. We are already planning on going back very soon, that's how beautiful and cheap It was!!

A great location - as with every small town, parking can be an issue - we were out of season so local car park was ok.
Beware of the coastal path to Saundersfoot if it has been raining for a few months (we stayed in March) as it is really no longer a path, more of a water and mud assault course :-)
Tenby is Tenby - a fishing/seaside town town that seems to be able to hold its own well - enough locally to keep most folk happy - and locals seemed genuinely friendly

Stayed at Lloret in Laugharne for a mid week break. The property was spotlessly clean with great views over Castle and estuary. Hot tub was a real bonus. Faultless service from all at Great Welsh Escapes - helpful texts and information. Would definitely stay with them again. Thanks!

This place is lovely spacious clean and well equipped .Hazel (the host ) popped past to make sure we had everything we needed and left us a lovely hamper. I will definitely return.if I had one very small negative comment it would be the booking in on line with great Welsh escapes .quite simple when Jess their employee guided me through the process and sending me a link to follow just a bit annoying as I booked it through Airbnb who already have all the details I repeated on the online booking form . Never the less this fabulous place was worth the extra form to fill in thank you very much hazel

We had an incredible time and loved staying at Maes Y Mel. It was a home away from home and we’ll definitely be coming back again in years to come. The hosts were so kind and friendly, a fantastic holiday spot to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

We had a great week in Lloret. Beautifully clean bungalow with all you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Jac kept in touch by text to make sure we were ok. We would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

Had a super stay at the Barn and Chaffhouse in Castlemartin. It was ideally located for glorious beaches and scenery. Very well appointed and great hosts. Would recommend a stay here anytime.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

We came back today stayed 5 nights over Christmas. Myself, wife and our golden doodle Alfie. Views are amazing short 5 mins drive to Laugharne and 10 minutes to pendine. Super private and we were not bothered at all during our stay.
Super cosy and our dog loved wandering in the private garden.
Will be back, beautiful place and we all slept well.

We have just arrived home after a fabulous stay at Round Park. The house was so much more spacious than expected and was a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful clean beaches and pretty towns and villages. There was a lovely welcome gift of wine , tea & stoopwaffles. Everything was catered for with cooking equipment including brand new airfryers. The beds were clean & comfortable.Would definitely recommend & use again in the future.

Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. A fabulous house. Lovely views over countryside in the back garden. The location is excellent you can get everywhere in the area very easily. We were family of 6 and everything worked so well. The weather was on our side and the beaches and facilities were amazing. Coppett Hall our favourite beach. Would book again.

A perfect place to stay over Christmas with two toddlers and a dog.
The Boathouse was exactly as described and decorated for Christmas when we arrived.
The pool was bigger than expected but perfect to use each day for kids working on their swimming and water confidence.
The host, Richard, was always available, friendly and chatty with the kids when they showed an interest in the animals.

This is a lovely cottage in the grounds of a castle. A real escape from the modern world. A perfect place to holiday with our 8-month old daughter. We had early morning walks in the castle grounds and cozy evenings in with the fires lit. Internet was only capable of handling messages, but that added to the experience in our opinion. A few cobwebs could be cleared up, but otherwise clean and the beds were very comfy.

One word - amazing. Is how I would describe this place. Peaceful and beautiful, this place is perfectly located to the west of the national park in the Black Mountains. Which is amazing for long walks great for the dog. The place itself is stunning, clean and well maintained.

Lovely location for an extremely soothing break. Well equipped cottage and Robert was kind enough to get kids little games to keep busy when you are retiring after having a day out whether to botanical garden trip or folley farm.
Near by nisa local, fish and chips were handy to pop for a quick snack.

An amazing property in a very quiet, rural setting. The property is spacious, quaint and very much an older character style house with an amazing, large garden. We took a croquet set and had plenty of space for that. Our small dog had her own 'holiday' in the garden. The house is well equipped, plenty of hot water, beds are comfy, bedlinen is fresh and good quality. Plenty of towels and also soap in every bathroom/sink. The house is not immediately near shops but its not too far to the nearest Co-op or Tesco at Pembroke Dock. The host is very helpful and responsive.

My only comment is to take care on the local roads as some become impassable without warning.

Otherwise it was a great place, lovely hot-tub and very comfortable.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Sunny Bank, an idyllic and private with every single thing you can imagine. We were provided with a full tea service and dinner set, basics for breakfast, bathrobes and towels for the stay as well as towels for the hot tub. I honestly think every possible amenity was thought about and provided. The cottage is on a family farm and you have complete privacy, esp in the hot tub which made the stay perfect for us.
The owners live down the road and when we told them the engine light had come on, on the car, and we needed to find a garage they came over and sorted the car, we needed oil but they also added screen wash and coolent and gave further advice. They went above and beyond.
You also don't have to worry about the hot tub, they come and treat it for you daily.
These are truly good people

Absolutely blown away by our stay, the accommodation is beyond beautiful and has that wow factor as soon as you walk in. The house is beautifully done and so well equipped! It was perfect for our yearly get away with friends and family and I couldn’t recommend it more and we can’t wait to come back! The location is perfect as it’s nicely tucked away and peaceful but also everything we did was easily accessible! We visited Y Polyn for dinner and would highly recommend this to all guests. We absolutely loved our 6 day stay here. Felt right at home immediately. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and all the wildlife that visits is so wonderful. There's birds of all kinds. We saw Canada geese swoop in everyday and the Greylag geese had their little chicks swimming with them from the island. There's bats that come zipping right past your face if you stand outside at dusk. It's so peaceful and picturesque. There's so much to do, we didn't even get around to visiting Carmarthen! We would love to come back in the future

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

The apartment was very well equipped. Every small detail/need had been thought of. It was very comfortable & homely. Parking & security entrance was good. Sarah the host was excellent in checking everything was ok when we arrived. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped & the lighting was perfect & like home from home. Cannot recommend highs enough

We had been before so everything ran like clockwork. Ou r only complaint was that the big ceiling lights were covered in dust and the fridge is very small and not easy to access but we never the less loved it as much as the first time. Almost perfect.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

Brilliant communication from start to finish. Accomodation was excellent standard with lovely arrival gift and decked out for Xmas. Definitely recommend and can't wait to return.

What a stunning location , the view of the beach and harbour was wonderful . The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed , perfectly located for the shops and restaurant and beaches . Lovely walks , we didn’t use the car all week .very comfy beds ! !

Cartrefle was all we expected and more. The log burners made it feel very cosy, large bedrooms and really comfortable beds were a real bonus. The attic room is a great space too, with en-suite bathroom and large TV. Great location, not too far from the beach and surrounded by beautiful countryside! La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

A totally beautiful barn conversion that thought of every possible thing that any guest could possibly want. Stunning!

It wouldn't be suitable for anybody with a disability, as the hill may be a problem and we had steps up to first floor apartment.

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

Really excellent stay, even with average weather we got a lot of use out of the pool. The house is amazing and really spacious with great Wifi throughout. Would definitely return. Thanks for the great break.

It’s also perfectly situated for easy access to nearby beaches and towns. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing getaway from the city. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at the bungalow in Pendine and using it as a base to visit the surrounding attractions and beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Mona and Graham were excellent hosts. The property was perfect for our needs very clean and homely, modern inside set in beautifully kept grounds and garden, quiet and relaxing.

we had a very relaxed week in beautiful surroundings and the pool and sauna were an added bonus 😀

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

I stayed at the syr ar y bryn with my partner and 2 daughters for a short break for my partners birthday.
The property was very cosy and well equipped. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

The location is picture-perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring all the stunning area had to offer.

Family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids and all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everybody and having a 2nd lounge is great for when the children want to make some noise.
House is well maintained and gardens great for kids to play.
House is well appointed and hosts (GWE) made contact after check in - we had to solve a beeping dishwasher with some salt but that was it in terms of issues.
New pans were dropped off during our stay following previous guest feedback.
Really great stay and would happily return there or to another property managed by the host.

The amazing views, of the Harbour and North beach, from the bay windows is what makes this property so special. Great location, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen!

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.
Would not hesitate to return and great value.

Comfortable, cosy cottage in beautiful Laugharne. Cottage well equipped, warm and a lovely place to relax after busy days out. Great location in the centre of the town. Short walk to the Castle and shop/pubs/cafes. We ate twice in the Portreeves Restaurant which did great food and wine. Browns Hotel also good. Enjoyed the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and writing Shed and his Birthday Walk. Highly recommend a stay at Chapel View.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! So clean, comfortable, with every amenity you need. We had the most relaxing few days escape here - couldn’t recommend it enough! There was also fresh eggs, honey and bread left!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely comfortable, well equiped cottage. Everything was as described and the location was just what we were looking for, so peaceful. Would very much like to return again when back in the area.
