The steep driveway and narrow lanes we walked a lot so coming back driveway was a struggle for the elder ones in the group could probably have done with a handrail along driveway wall but nothing really negative great property all round

What a beautiful spot on earth! After being away from Wales for 8 years, we were looking for a special place to return...and "The Lookout at Goscar" absolutely delivered...spectacular views over the harbour and North Beach...comfortable beds, nice kitchen...situated in the middle of town a stone throw away from the beach.
Tenby is such a beautiful place, with lonely mornings at spectacular beaches, boat tours to see Seals and busy pub live and sweets shops for the little ones.
All in all we had perfect holidays with our little daughter...we will be back!

Clean and tidy very well presented barn. Could not fault it in any way, lovely owners who greeted us on arrival. Would 100% stay again and we are looking to book again in March 2026 for our son’s birthday! The goats were definitely a nice surprise too!

Family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids and all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everybody and having a 2nd lounge is great for when the children want to make some noise.
House is well maintained and gardens great for kids to play.
House is well appointed and hosts (GWE) made contact after check in - we had to solve a beeping dishwasher with some salt but that was it in terms of issues.
New pans were dropped off during our stay following previous guest feedback.
Really great stay and would happily return there or to another property managed by the host.

Beautiful apartment on top of the hill with a spectacular view of the sea. Cosy vibe and great Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of good quality utensils and a dish washer. Heating is very good. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The hosts were really nice and accommodating. when we had unplanned arrivals join us, at our request they got the neighbouring air B’n’B set up and ready for our guests straightaway so that they had their own space. Lovely place to stay, they’ve got really friendly goats just outside the decking area too!

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.

The property was well equipped and very clean. The courtyard was perfect to sit in for an evening drink. The garden was beautiful and well kept. It was a perfect location to visit different places, and going to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. Would definitely stay again.

It was a beautiful house and with all the amenities anyone could ask for. It really felt as if we were staying in someone's home. Everything you could think of was in the ktichen. It made it very nice to be able to cook home meals there. The view is spectacular from the sun deck and the local town of Laugharne was super friendly. We loved it. highly recommend.

The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

My little family had the most enjoyable stay. Location was amazing, walking distance to the town, bars, restaurants, lovely walks and the beach. View from the apartment is what we will most remember, watching the waves and the people coming and going. Apartment was comfortable and clean, plenty of space for a family of 3. Photos don’t really do it justice. Would definitely return.

Sunny Bank is an outstanding place to stay for a short or long break as it is remarkably well equipped with everything you require.

Immaculate throughout, extremely spacious making it easily accessible for disabled and wheelchair users .

Outside, the gardens are accessible, there are seating areas with extensive views across the countryside.

A hot tub to relax in the day or night ..just perfect.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the
"Welcome Hamper" and Fresh goods milk ,juice eggs etc .

The apartment was very well equipped. Every small detail/need had been thought of. It was very comfortable & homely. Parking & security entrance was good. Sarah the host was excellent in checking everything was ok when we arrived. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped & the lighting was perfect & like home from home. Absolutely stunning and immaculate house in beautiful Laugharne. Ideally located for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Very well equipped property, easy check in and hosts easy to contact.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

A lovely home in a nice village close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and costal walks. We really enjoyed the home and will be back again. A visit to the castle with the kids is also great fun. Would highly recommend.

The house was lovely, even nicer than the photos. Finish of the house was great, kitchen well equipped and the outside areas were excellent. The driveway was long but no problem, even the Sainsbury delivery driver coped without issue. There isn’t much that can be accessed by foot but this was made clear on the map. We stayed with four children and the house easily accommodated us, all the games and welcome cake were nice touches.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this cottage in gorgeous Laugharne. The cottage is recently renovated and was fresh, clean and comfortable throughout. And the cottage has a great view of the castle. Great Welsh Escapes were excellent - very easy to communicate with and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

The property is spacious, stylish and well maintained. Rear garden was a nice space and if we had had more time we would have made good use of the decking area overlooking fields at the back.

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

Lovely property with very friendly and helpful hosts. They kindly let us feed their new goats and gave us home grown veg!

Fantastic location, really quiet and peaceful but also not too far away from supermarkets, beaches, coastal walks and tourist attractions.
We loved walking through the woods down to the creek every day to see what was new (lots of autumn colours and fungi in our case). We don't normally visit the same place twice but in this case we are already planning the next trip!

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

Laugharne is a fascinating little town with historical sites and beautiful walks, easily accessible for other attractions. The. castle is well worth a visit as well as the boathouse.

We had a lovely stay in Pendine, the apartment was clean and well kept plus the view over the beach was amazing. Only 15 mins walk to the local amenities and 20min drive to Saundersfoot and 25 mins to Tenby. Would definitely recommend!

Our family really enjoyed the peaceful setting. the cottage is perfectly set up. we had everything we needed. The swimming was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place for you.

We were blown away with the views, absolutely lovely. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, clean and had everything we needed, and more. Great location for exploring the local area, Tenby and Saundersfoot not being too far to drive to. The Pendine Sands great for a day on the beach.

Apartment clean enough and well equipped. Lovely balcony and views. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The guest book is great and has all the details you need. Hosts were friendly and responsive when recommending places for food.
Not much to do around the location but easy enough to get into Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Luckily no one was staying in the apartment above us but I didn’t see a mention of this when booking. Car park space right outside which is good and then an overflow car park for any extra cars.

We had a fantastic week in Laugharne at Gwalia House. The accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean and exactly as described and was perfectly located to enjoy all the Laugharne and the surrounding area has to offer. Laugharne itself is gorgeous and such a friendly place, we especially liked Poon over the road! The hosts (Great Welsh Escape) were very communicative and even responded to questions on bank holiday! We loved Gwalia House and definitely hope to be back.

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. My little family and I had a wonderful 5-nights stay in Pendine. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need! Despite the weather being absolutely awful for 4 out of the 5 days, we still had a fab time :) views are unbelievable looking out over the seafront, highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes :)

We loved staying at Drefach! The beautiful massive garden with the hot tub was the highlight of our holiday. We also enjoyed the spacious house that was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

The Cottage was stunning and in a fantastic location. Mostly everything you needed was there even bath towels. The rooms were lovely and well presented. The place was welcoming and clean and the view over the river/estury was amazing. Such a peaceful location ideal for families right next to the town, walks, pubs, restaurants, shop, castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. Parking is limited around so the 6 car driveway was useful. Communication was excelkent too. We would really recommend.

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

The old school house is a beautiful unusual & spacious holiday home. It had everything we needed & is in a quiet location that allowed us to explore the local towns, castles & beaches easily. Travelling with a small child we loved finding the many games tucked away in various cupboards & especially enjoyed the welcome bottle of wine & cake!!

We always love coming to Lloret and our dogs make good use of all the nearby beaches. The hot tub is well maintained and it’s a joy to use it. It’s a great base to reach Pembrokeshire and Laugharne is a little gem

It has a lovely feel about it and everything you could want when on holiday. It is a steep walk back from the beach but worth it.

Very responsive host and lovely quiet place to stay with good sized rooms and all the facilities needed to feel homely and safe. Very lovely hosts.

The enclosed garden was great. Our dogs really enjoyed running around. Plenty of parking spaces. Room for 3 cars. The verandas were fab. Plenty of room on both verandas. The property was large enough for plenty of people and very cosy. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus.

The only downside was the little bit of road going to the property was quite bumpy and the cold water tap wasn’t working in the main bathroom shower but could be easily rectified.

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

Very happy with our stay at Lloret this past weekend. Cracking little place, with fantastic views of Laugharne Castle and the estuary. I honestly can’t think of one thing to find fault with!
Hopefully we’ll be returning the same time next year.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

The stay felt like home away from home with a wonderful view to a beautiful valley. Perfect for the quiet holiday we were looking for. Had a great time and our host was a very friendly and helpful.

I love Wales and this is a great place to stay for Pembrokeshire.
The coast is a 4 minute drive and parking to gorgeous freshwater west.
Pembroke is 10 mins away and a lovely town. Go to the games cafe on the high street for fun and get the scoop on best places to eat.
We felt at home in the barn. The weather was awful with high winds across the SW and it rained every day but we felt so toasty once we were inside after a day out. The home heating is very clever and we popped on the lovely fire when needed.
Despite the weather we managed to have a wonderful time. I’ve never laughed so much trying to stand up with high winds.
Plenty of wonderful dog friendly places.

Peaceful and beautiful.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse, it was clean and tidy. The pool was about a 1 minute walk from the cottage, it was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. The cottage is well away from the farm house, so it’s very private. Would definitely recommend.

What a find!! We were looking for a last minute break and stumbled across this beautiful house. When we arrived we were blown away. It’s quirky decor, the size, the facilities (pool table and cinema room were a massive hit!), the grounds and the location were spot on. It was refreshing to find something so beautiful that was also dog friendly. Our dog is a big part of our family, she has mobility issues so we struggle to leave her, having the option to take her to such a stunning house was perfect.
Big thank you to Jac for all the beautiful little touches, those that were specific to us (the welcome hamper and sign) and those that were just throughout the house (the bbq with gas ready to use, the hot water bottles in the bedrooms, the toiletries etc) it really does make your house and our holiday even more memorable.

An amazing place and a fabulous apartment. It felt like home from home, apartment was clean and well stocked. Location is great and we were very lucky with the weather. We will be back to explore more. Thanks for sharing your apartment with us.

We had a lovely stay at this property, which is even cosier than it appears in photos. The radiators warmed up to heat the house very quickly during the cold weather.

Beds were really comfy, and we all slept beautifully!

It's a great base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Laugharne was a lovely town to return to in the evenings after long days out sightseeing.

Great Welsh escapes were really responsive and communicative to meet all our needs before and during the visit.

On street parking was challenging at times, but we're very used to this at home!

It was better than expected. Tendy as seaside town has many things to and the beaches are breath takingly beautiful. Definitely recommended 5 stars

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Brofallen- the beautiful decor and gorgeous plants really made it feel like home from home only better! The view from the garden and conservatory is stunning- it was such a treat to start our day looking out to the distant sea, drinking the local, small batch roasted coffee left as part of the welcome pack. We had a couple of questions which were promptly and kindly responded to. We found the house very thoughtfully equipped and we cooked, played some of the games and used some DVDs and books as well. For most dogs the garden is very nicely enclosed and a great place to explore. For our rescued Serbian street dog, he did find a way out towards the neighbour's garden even though we were supervising him. We would definitely like to return- the house feels like a relaxing retreat.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. Such a peaceful and tranquil place in beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the castle grounds to explore them but far enough away to be in your own space with no one else around.
The house was lovely, full of character, very comfortable and had all we needed. Set in its own woodland to explore and we woke to birdsong, lambs and other livestock in nearby fields. We got the Rayburn range going pretty easily and used it to cook several meals as well as adding some warmth after the sun went down.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Only 10 minutes from Carew Castle which we visited on Sunday morning followed by a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn opposite.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Everything, the bungalow had the 'Wow' factor in every way Hazel was very welcoming, the views were amazing, it is a real home from home was nice to just chill or explore if you wanted to will definitely stay again

A beautiful and comfortable flat with everything you could need. The flat is near the centre of Saundersfoot and has a beautiful view of the bay. It is very peaceful with easy access to the coast path for walks. I would be happy to stay here again.

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

the perfect half term holiday break for me, my wife, our 13 year old and dog. Matt, the host, couldn't have been more responsive, or helpful. The property itself was idyllic, matched only by the breathtaking countryside. Scenic beach walks less than half an hour's drive away. A swimming pool and sauna less than half a minute's stroll away. We are now back in London and already want to return....
