we had a lovely holiday at footprints beautiful clean and modern apartment everything we needed. close to beach and town .a little tricky to find to start but with a little help we found it .got to be one of the best places we have ever stayed at...the people were so friendly and the pubs and restaurants were superb fully recommend. just loved it ...🙂😊🏖😎

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

Lovely big house for a family holiday. Plenty of space for everyone, with a very well appointed kitchen. Laugharne was an easy walk with lots to see and places to eat. A great location for exploring.

This property is ideally located next to the grocery shop, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. Especially marvelous was the the view of the massive castle and relics across from the property and dusk light reflecting off the castle walls that we could see from upstairs windows. The locals were very friendly and happy to fill us in on curiously spelt Welsh place names and local information. The property was exceptionally well presented and clean with car parking right out the front

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

We have a lovely holiday despite the rainy weather! The place is very comfortable and was super clean. The welcome basket was very much appreciated and a lovely gesture. The surrounding areas are lovely, very calm and secure area.

We had a pleasant long weekend here. The house is lovely, especially the kitchen and dining room. The beds were also super comfy which was nice. The only minor improvements would be that the sofa needed a good clean and there was a broken chair in the dining room. Other than that, our stay was lovely and we would definitely stay again. Location was great, only being a 10 minute walk down to the beach.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the welcome hamper in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to the hot tub out the back which we enjoyed.Hazel even popped over after we had checked in to make sure everything was fine for us which was very nice of her,the area was very quiet and peaceful with the lovely views ideal for a relaxing holiday especially with Tenby just 25 minute's drive away we will definitely be booking again next year

Firstly this place is just so amazing, stunning inside, very clean, really good communication, planty of space for our dog, and much more good things I definitely recommend this place and planning already to come back soon.

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

We had such an amazing time at this place, it was beautiful inside the bungalow and outside with the fantastic scenery and how peaceful it was. The host was very kind and helpful as she came to see us a couple minutes after we arrived to talk us through the hot tub and about the place and nearby attractions. Hot tub was so warm and relaxing, temperature inside the house was comfortable and it was very clean and shiny, I would highly recommend this place to couples who want a peaceful weekend away. We are already planning on going back very soon, that's how beautiful and cheap It was!!

Lovely barn with everything you would need inside. Clean and tidy rooms. Great location for travelling around the area, with Tenby, Fishgaurd and Milford haven close by. We had a lovely Chinese at Pendine too.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was amazing and fully furnished which was great for families to get together. The house was very secluded and private but you need a car as nothing really walking distance that is open in February.

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. We had such a lovely stay here and we would love to come back. Ros got back to us very quickly if we had any questions and kindly let us check out later. She was a brilliant host.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Cors. Large house and beautiful garden. Well located for amenities and beautiful countryside.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

Perfect farmhouse with everything you need from home to home would definitely visit again in the future.

The house is in a stunning location on a hill looking out. Inside it is warm, comfortable, well decorated with good quality furnishings and amenities. Highly recommend it as a place to hang out with friends and family.

The property is spacious, stylish and well maintained. Rear garden was a nice space and if we had had more time we would have made good use of the decking area overlooking fields at the back.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

The hosts were excellent, could not be more helpful and gave access to the farm where the cottage is located. Just follow normal countryside rules. Do not disturb the animals, if you open a gate then close it behind you...etc.

The property had everything as described. A great collection of books describing the area, the history and sights to visit.

We stayed here for a family holiday, there was plenty of space for us all and the property is kept very well. Laugharne is a great base for a holiday in the South-west of Wales with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Beautiful converted barn. Kitchen has everything you need. We took some of our bits and bobs but they were not needed. Welcome hamper was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if they are after a relaxing stay. Please thank Don & Daniela for our lovely chocolates.

Jess was very responsive and helpful. Our son got very high fever on the last day and Emily was very kind to extend our check out by a whole hour. The house in itself is gorgeous and extremely clean just as the pictures. However, in regards to the location of the house, it’s not close to either the beach or the castle unlike the impression we got from the pictures posted. It’s in the middle of a farm residential area. Our son quite enjoyed waking up to the mooing of cows but the stench of the cow manure does waft through the house if you open the doors and the windows. All in all, we did enjoy our stay at the house immensely.

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

Our trip couldn't have been more perfect – the town is lovely and the location of the cottage perfect for estuary walks and trips to the castle, restaurants and pubs. So many things to do nearby too, we will be back!

Excellent place to stay if you are looking for the whole family accommodation. Everything’s available. Except of course you just need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The rest is provided. Grocery shops are walking distance anyway. The location is perfect if you drive around especially going to the beach and other site seeing’s. But the accommodation for me is perfect. Safe and quiet.

The property was stunning, beautiful views from every window. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great, with shops, restaurants/bars very close to the property. We drove out to Tenby which was only 30mins away, but the beach at pendine sands was only a 10min drive Laugharne castle was great and you can see it from the property, plenty of walking routes in the area. Lastly the hot tub was a great touch! 100% recommend.

we stayed at the property for our honeymoon and could not believe how beautiful and remote it was. the closest villages and towns are a 20 minute drive in any direction, the views are stunning and the space feels cozy and like home.

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. This place is lovely spacious clean and well equipped .Hazel (the host ) popped past to make sure we had everything we needed and left us a lovely hamper. I will definitely return.if I had one very small negative comment it would be the booking in on line with great Welsh escapes .quite simple when Jess their employee guided me through the process and sending me a link to follow just a bit annoying as I booked it through Airbnb who already have all the details I repeated on the online booking form . Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

The steep driveway and narrow lanes we walked a lot so coming back driveway was a struggle for the elder ones in the group could probably have done with a handrail along driveway wall but nothing really negative great property all round

We stayed as a party of 9. There was plenty of room for everyone & we enjoyed a fantastic New Years Eve party. The town of Laugharne is lovely, with a few pubs & shops, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

The cottage was done up to a very high standard and was in a beautiful location. We loved it there. It had everything you needed. Hot tub was lovely. Would definitely recommend and return.

We had a lovely stay in Pendine, the apartment was clean and well kept plus the view over the beach was amazing. Only 15 mins walk to the local amenities and 20min drive to Saundersfoot and 25 mins to Tenby. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely spacious and well equipped house in a beautiful setting. It offered everything we needed to settle in and relax for a long weekend, with the ability to verge out for local walks to the beach and castle. Would recommend for large groups - great outdoor area as well as large drive for parking.

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and perfect accommodation for my wife and I plus our young toddler. Comms and instructions from our host were great, with lots of clear info on the place and the surrounding area.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The view across the Village to Laugharne Castle and the estuary is breath taking.
The bungalow was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was well used during the week.
The tea, coffee, waffles and prosecco on arrival were a lovely surprise and most welcome.
The location is ideal as a base to visit a number of costal resorts such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Even St David's is only an hour away. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Our second time at a Great Welsh Escape’s property. Had a lovely time in a beautiful recently refurbished barn.

Our dog also loved the enclosed garden that wrapped around the property.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

This house is even more beautiful than the pictures, we had a wonderful stay.
The bedrooms are all stunning and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms for a big group, with one on every floor. The house is very spacious and even with 10 people we didn’t feel as if we were on top of each other, as there are plenty of areas to relax in.
There are several great pubs within walking distance (closest is a 2 minute walk) and the general surroundings are stunning, with a great view from the house. Short drive from lots of great walks and beaches as well.
We would love to stay again if we’re in the vicinity. Highly recommend.

We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

A lovely spacious property which was exactly as described. Hosts were very good with communications before and during our stay and gave good local advice. Thanks for the gift of the Prosecco, tea and Bara Brith, much appreciated.The hot tub was excellent and super views over to the castle. Having extra towels for use in the hot tub was a bonus. The hill up to the property is a bit steep and may not suit everyone but we were fine with it. The property was very clean and tidy throughout, and the kitchen was fully stocked for self catering. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

The location was superb, overlooking a lake with wildfowl. Being on a farm at the end of a track, it was private and quiet. Having sole use of a large indoor heated pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortably furnished. There were shops in nearby St Clears with long opening hours, even on Sunday. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The steps down to the property were steep.

Lovely long weekend in this quiet, countryside spot! The place looks incredible in the pictures but actually looks even better in real life! We liked how equally social and private the house can be - there are nooks all over - where you might chill in a group or maybe take some private time. Really lovely surroundings and towns nearby that can be explored.

We, a family of four and a dog had a wonderful time at Brofallen. It was very comfortable and well-equipped, everything that you could possibly need. It was in such a relaxing quiet spot with amazing views. You do need a car to appreciate the places all around, but there are lots of scenic places to visit that are good for kids and dogs. It was a lovely holiday had by all.

We had the best week at The Cors. We had everything we needed to hand. The house was perfect, the space and gardens were ideal. The communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We loved visiting the nearby beaches and little village. Would definitely recommend!

Very cosy and well maintained, it was a great place to unwind for few days. didn't use the pool but having the sauna available during the winter was nice. Communication from Jess was great and spoke to the owner on site who was very friendly also. The Boathouse would be even better in the summer to be able to sit out and watch ducks swim around.

Stunning place, great views and comfy house. The pool is massive. Kids loved it at most.

This is a beautifully appointed & comfortable apartment, the hosts had thought of everything! The views across the bay are great and access to the cost path is just across the road. Parking space & key access easy to find/ use.

Not a criticism of the property, but worth noting that the walk back from the town/ beach involves coming up a steep hill

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The cottage was very comfortable and the setting was ideal - peaceful and with stunning views, especially at sunset. Paula was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and to return.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Fabulous bedrooms and living accommodation and location we will be definitely be back😊
