Fantastic cottage. It has everything you need for cosy comfortable stay. We loved it. Everything worked beautifully, the cottage had everything we needed. It was all so easy and relaxing and the views are wonderful.

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was exactly as described and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was booked for my wife’s 50th birthday and what a venue!

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

I stayed here when visiting with family in the area. The view is stunning, the space is clean and well decorated and has everything you could need. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed as a party of 9. There was plenty of room for everyone & we enjoyed a fantastic New Years Eve party. The town of Laugharne is lovely, with a few pubs & shops, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

Rustic little cottage in a very rural location. Ideal for exploring West Wales. It had all the amenities described and we had a lovely few days with our two young children.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.

Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.

The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. Lovely spacious bungalow, with the added benefit of an annexe. This enabled us as a large family to spend quality time together. The property was clean & tidy with all utilities needed, the garden was wonderful for the kids and safe. The village was a short walk away and had a handy convenient store. Lots of activities within a 40 minute drive and Pembroke Castle was amazing.
Pendine sands is a 10 minute drive away and is a stunning beach.
Would definitely recommend this holiday destination.

We had a lovely stay at this property, which is even cosier than it appears in photos. The radiators warmed up to heat the house very quickly during the cold weather.

Beds were really comfy, and we all slept beautifully!

It's a great base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Laugharne was a lovely town to return to in the evenings after long days out sightseeing.

Great Welsh escapes were really responsive and communicative to meet all our needs before and during the visit.

On street parking was challenging at times, but we're very used to this at home!

Unspoilt countryside, total privacy. Great to have a pool, jacuzzi bath and say to hello to the cows every morning whilst looking over the lake. We visited with our 8 month old and our 2 dogs. We all loved it. Even got a massage treatment at the property. Thank you!

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! Our kids LOVED this holiday aswell as me and my husband, we can't say thankyou enough honestly! 5 stars from us 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

We stayed here for a family holiday, there was plenty of space for us all and the property is kept very well. Laugharne is a great base for a holiday in the South-west of Wales with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. Such a peaceful and tranquil place in beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the castle grounds to explore them but far enough away to be in your own space with no one else around.
The house was lovely, full of character, very comfortable and had all we needed. Set in its own woodland to explore and we woke to birdsong, lambs and other livestock in nearby fields. We got the Rayburn range going pretty easily and used it to cook several meals as well as adding some warmth after the sun went down.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Only 10 minutes from Carew Castle which we visited on Sunday morning followed by a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn opposite.

Apartment clean enough and well equipped. Lovely balcony and views. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The guest book is great and has all the details you need. Hosts were friendly and responsive when recommending places for food.
Not much to do around the location but easy enough to get into Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Luckily no one was staying in the apartment above us but I didn’t see a mention of this when booking. Car park space right outside which is good and then an overflow car park for any extra cars.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

The cottage is very cosy. Living room is cosy with a large fireplace but plenty of space. The sofas are a bit tired but not a problem.
We travelled during a 30°+ heat wave and the living room was very cool due to the stone walls which made it a very welcome place to be!
The garden is lovely and full of secret paths for the kids but be warned, there is a pond exposed, so no good for toddlers.
The area is fantastic with Pembrokeshire coast and loads of things for the kids.
Only gripe is that there is no parking by the cottage other than a layby. There is a car park 150 yards up the road however which allows you to see some incredible scenery of the area, so absolutely this is not a negative overall.
Worth mentioning that there is no TV signal or mobile coverage although there was broadband and WiFi available.

Would stay again. The Owner of the house (Ros) was extremely helpful! We had a few issues with the hot water going down, but Ros got someone out straight away the it was fixed with hours! She couldn't do enough for us, would love to stay again.

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

Der Staubsauger war defekt

We are a family of 5 and the house was definitely spacious enough for us. The views are breathtaking and the area is just so beautiful. We took time to enjoy the peace and the beautiful stars at night. The castle wonderful to see and the people were so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend.

What was not to like....views outstanding,hot tub games room very well equipped and beds so comfortable absolutely loved it

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. The area is fab with lots of good places to eat and some good local walks.

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

The hot tub was lovely and clean. House was spotless. A lovely and cosy air bnb, we loved every second of our stay there. The bed was very comfortable, the record player was a great touch, the bathroom and kitchen had everything that we need and more, and the fire place set a lovely mood for the evening. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Brofallen- the beautiful decor and gorgeous plants really made it feel like home from home only better! The view from the garden and conservatory is stunning- it was such a treat to start our day looking out to the distant sea, drinking the local, small batch roasted coffee left as part of the welcome pack. We had a couple of questions which were promptly and kindly responded to. We found the house very thoughtfully equipped and we cooked, played some of the games and used some DVDs and books as well. For most dogs the garden is very nicely enclosed and a great place to explore. For our rescued Serbian street dog, he did find a way out towards the neighbour's garden even though we were supervising him. We would definitely like to return- the house feels like a relaxing retreat.

We had a lovely holiday in Saundersfoot, the house Ser Ar Y Bryn had all what we needed, a secure garden, ( for a dog) very comfortable beds hot shower and comfy furniture to relax of an evening, although the kitchen had everything you needed, we ate out most of the time, Saundersfoot was only a short walk( although quite a steep hill) we didn’t mind the hill . Communication with Ruth was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Thanks

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

So warm and cosy and a total home from home experience! We made use of the board games Charlotte left out and went for walks in the private woodlands. The younger children loved the swings, the fairy doorway and the mud kitchen! Charlotte had left a beautiful tree and other Christmas decorations. We loved the big open living space which was ideal for having family visiting. They also loved the barn! We very much hope to return next year.

This property is a great base for lots of beautiful Welsh places and only 10 mins drive from Carmarthen. Hot tub was lovely. I lay in it and looked at the stars.

We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

For New Years we stayed at the wonderful Fernhill House Laugharne. Not only was the house spectacular the location was perfect!!! Great Welsh Escapes were brilliant-not only from the first contact but from assisting with the booking and throughout our stay. We've already booked again for next New Years.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

Loved our stay at Coedllys Cottage. The hydra pool and sauna were especially great -perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and set in a peaceful spot with great access to the coast. A wonderful break and highly recommended.

Such a gorgeous home! Something really special and so beautiful. Brilliant location - a lovely beach nearby at Pendine Sands and a great base for day trips to Barafundle Bay, Tenby etc. We want to go back already!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

The only negative point was the kitchen breakfast table didn’t really sit 4 comfortably and thought a dining table in the very large living room would have been nice. Other than that we had the best week and would definitely recommend to others. 5*

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

It's a nice sized, comfortable house with good facilities. Quiet but in walking distance of Tenby.

Lovely barn with everything you would need inside. Clean and tidy rooms. Great location for travelling around the area, with Tenby, Fishgaurd and Milford haven close by. We had a lovely Chinese at Pendine too.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Great House. The rooms are as magnificent as the photos suggest. I'd highly recommend staying here if you are after a slice of grandeur.

The cottage is beautiful with a nice private garden overlooking wild land down to the sea

Nothing. Be aware it's probably better to have a car as the village does not have any shops nor pubs

we enjoyed a fantastic stay in Llanstefan. beautiful location, a couple of great pubs and a lovely little pizza parlour. the house was clean, spacious and well stocked, just what we needed. highly recommended!

The property is spacious, stylish and well maintained. Rear garden was a nice space and if we had had more time we would have made good use of the decking area overlooking fields at the back.

A lovely home in a nice village close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and costal walks. We really enjoyed the home and will be back again. A visit to the castle with the kids is also great fun. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying here. It is in a great location to explore this part of Wales. There is so much to see and do. The accomodation was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Great showers and comfy beds. Spacious space and we enjoyed the out door space. Lovely to see the horses in the field in the morning.

We also had a great meal in the hotel next door.

Lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by great views and only the sheep and birds for neighbours. Great for a quiet getaway.
House is nicely decorated with modern touches and comfortable. The large window in the reception room is great especially when slightly too cold to sit outside as it was on our stay.
For those with dogs. The garden is enclosed to a point however a small dog could probably get through the main gate and one part of the fencing had buckled slightly. I think our bernedoodle would have had a go at jumping that part given half the chance.

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return

Location and the property was very nice and we liked the courtyard area the garden was very pretty.

The road outside the house was very busy, we come frome a quiet location and we did notice the traffic coming past.

Excellent client portal made checking in/out easy and contained lots of info on the apartment and surrounding area. Prompt response

Great stay. plenty of room for the dog on the balcony. bed was very comfortable. everything we needed in the apartment.
