We loved our stay at Defrach.
Hanna went out of her way to help us, we couldn’t be more grateful.
The house was beautiful, so cosy and felt like home instantly.
The scenery was insane, we were always in the hot tub admiring views (now we understand why it is where it is located!)
They had everything you need in the house, we never ate out and was there a week.
Our kids and their friends who joined us loved the place.
It is a 20 minute drive to a local shop and further to a supermarket so would recommend a food delivery so you can kick back and enjoy when you are there.
We loved it and didn’t want to come home.

We came back today stayed 5 nights over Christmas. Myself, wife and our golden doodle Alfie. Views are amazing short 5 mins drive to Laugharne and 10 minutes to pendine. Super private and we were not bothered at all during our stay.
Super cosy and our dog loved wandering in the private garden.

Laugherne is well worth a visit, unspoiled, clean and tidy with stunning views of the castle and estuary. Go inside the castle grounds, they're a beautiful surprise. Our holiday home for 3 nights was lovely - peaceful and clean with everything you need and we managed to park right outside the front door which we needed. There's a small courtyard but it was in the shade, so we walked 2 mins across the road to sit looking at the castle with a glass of wine as the sun went down.

Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Great House in Laugharne.
The house is spectacular and so historic. It is situated very conveniently in a great location, near to pubs and restaurants in a beautiful village.

Wonderful place! Incredibly well kitted out and the owners are wonderful.

A fantastic property made for a great holiday. Hanna was an excellent host, always responsive and full of recommendations for places to visit. Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again. Our entire family loved the stay.

The cottage is very cosy. Living room is cosy with a large fireplace but plenty of space. The sofas are a bit tired but not a problem.
We travelled during a 30°+ heat wave and the living room was very cool due to the stone walls which made it a very welcome place to be!
The garden is lovely and full of secret paths for the kids but be warned, there is a pond exposed, so no good for toddlers.
The area is fantastic with Pembrokeshire coast and loads of things for the kids.
Only gripe is that there is no parking by the cottage other than a layby. There is a car park 150 yards up the road however which allows you to see some incredible scenery of the area, so absolutely this is not a negative overall.
Worth mentioning that there is no TV signal or mobile coverage although there was broadband and WiFi available.

It was much better than expected, host Hazel was helpful, friendly and provides more extras than we have ever seen. It exceeded our expectations and if we go to Wales in future would always look to stay here again .

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

We decided to treat ourselves to a beautiful home for a few days and the Old School was perfect. Easy to find, excellent communication from Jess, problem with bathroom light that was quickly rectified whilst we were out and about.

Laugharne is small but peaceful with all amenities you may need (if you need to do a large food shop however I’d do this before you arrive as the convenience store is very limited in terms of veg / selection etc).

This is a lovely cottage in the grounds of a castle. A real escape from the modern world. A perfect place to holiday with our 8-month old daughter. We had early morning walks in the castle grounds and cozy evenings in with the fires lit. Internet was only capable of handling messages, but that added to the experience in our opinion. A few cobwebs could be cleared up, but otherwise clean and the beds were very comfy.

Very well presented, very clean & had a positive vibe. Very much “home from home” with all the accessories dressing the property, Lots of extras like condiments & cleaning items & even beach accessories. Best place we have ever stayed

This little gem of a house far exceeded our expectations. Brilliantly positioned for walks and drives to local beauty spots.
The facilities were top class with everything that you could want for a break.
The real extra benefits for us as a family - heating that could be localised in each room, two bathrooms, perfect size kitchen, cosy living room with a working log burner.
The parking is a bit tricky but you can find local parking within 3 min walk if nothing available outside. (all free).

We visited The Cors as 2 families and were thrilled with the house. It had everything we needed for a wonderful week away, a home away from home, but better. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great little bar and pool table and lovely cosy cinema room. We had a minor issue which Jac helped replace quickly and without fuss.
Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, lovely to sit outside with a glass of wine in the sun enjoying the garden. Great location within easy reach of the lovely Pendine Sands, a local dog friendly beach with lots of amenities, and walking distance of some great pubs and restaurants.
All in all a great break and would recommend.

Me and my partner use air b and bs regularly but this is by far in our top two.

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Really well equipped home (aside from no dishcloths or washing up sponges) with everything you could need - we managed to cook a full roast dinner.
Plenty of space with 2 bathrooms serving the 4 bedrooms.
The living areas were ideal for 2 families with 4 teenage children between them. Kitchen with sitting area and log burner was cosy and a great space.
Utility room was great for the dog and table tennis in the garage kept the teens entertained (Even if it was a bit nippy)
Overall the house was clean. Good sized bath towels (sheets rather than standard towel size) but bath mats would have been a welcome addition. Bedding was comfy.
Fabulous welcome pack and Christmas tree made a warm welcome and we had a great break over the new year.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a well equipped, extremely comfortable apartment look no further. Nestled high up on the side of a hill it offers wonderful views of the sea and countryside. The apartment has everything you need and more so you don’t have to compromise on the way you spend your holiday. We cooked in a lot which was easy because of the the way the kitchen was equipped - there was nothing missing.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay from the welcome hamper in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to the hot tub out the back which we enjoyed.Hazel even popped over after we had checked in to make sure everything was fine for us which was very nice of her,the area was very quiet and peaceful with the lovely views ideal for a relaxing holiday especially with Tenby just 25 minute's drive away we will definitely be booking again next year

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by great views and only the sheep and birds for neighbours. Great for a quiet getaway.
House is nicely decorated with modern touches and comfortable. The large window in the reception room is great especially when slightly too cold to sit outside as it was on our stay.
For those with dogs. The garden is enclosed to a point however a small dog could probably get through the main gate and one part of the fencing had buckled slightly. I think our bernedoodle would have had a go at jumping that part given half the chance.

Lovely big house for a family holiday. Plenty of space for everyone, with a very well appointed kitchen. Laugharne was an easy walk with lots to see and places to eat. A great location for exploring.

Large, clean and private indoor heated pool plus sauna. Very tranquil location overseeing the lake. There are not other guests as there is only one property for holiday makers so it is very private feeling just like a second home. There are everything needed in the house.

Occasional flies in the house and farm smell outside 😄 but no smell in the house.

I would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. Paula and Edward were such wonderful hosts and we felt very welcome and at home instantly. The cottage is spacious, cosy, clean and charming. The bed was comfortable and a peaceful night sleep was a guarantee. Views from all windows of the cottage were idyllic! We had a mix of weather during our holiday which allowed us some enjoyable and restful time in front of the log burning stove - bliss!
The location is brilliantly situated close to lots of good walking trails, a short drive to many charming towns and villages and the water.

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

Wonderful house - clean and tidy, very homely and private. Beautiful views of Laugharne and great places to visit and eat in the local area. Would thoroughly recommend for families and large groups as there’s plenty of space

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

Amazing location, property exactly as described, clean property, helpful owners.

Although it's in MOD land, that didn't get in the way as we spent most of our daytime before 4pm, at a nearby beach at Pendine. Also we wanted somewhere out of the way, that would be quiet, without other holiday makers around. The owners have gone to a lot of effort with nice touches and quality of kitchen facilities was important to us as we prefer having evening meals made by ourselves. The walk in shower and bathtub is big. We enjoyed the fire pit outside at night and everything here was high quality.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

We had our employees stay here a few weeks ago, the accommodation was fantastic and exceptionally clean. Their needs were well catered for and we would have no issue in recommending and booking this accommodation again in the future, thank you for a fantastic stay, from Immy and the Euro Team :-)

Very well equipped, comfortable and the washing machine and dishwasher was a bonus. Everything was so clean and in good condition! The view were great and it was so peaceful sat out on the decking have your morning coffee looking out onto the sea!

It’s not really I didn’t like but was disappointed the fairy lights didn’t work on the balcony, would have been nice to sit out on an evening with them on. Also the double bedroom could have done with more storage. The small wardrobes wasn’t enough for 2 adults.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

We had a lovely holiday in Saundersfoot, the house Ser Ar Y Bryn had all what we needed, a secure garden, ( for a dog) very comfortable beds hot shower and comfy furniture to relax of an evening, although the kitchen had everything you needed, we ate out most of the time, Saundersfoot was only a short walk( although quite a steep hill) we didn’t mind the hill . Communication with Ruth was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Thanks

Beautiful, well equiped, spacious and beautifully renovated with plenty of outdoor space. Just need to be mindful of spiral staircases and that guests in those rooms are able to manage them. Great local farm based restaurant - Paternoster Farm - highly recommend (only open on certain nights and need to book): Highly recommend restaurant at the Point House in Angel (again need to book) and the Kings Arms in Pembroke: and must visit Pembroke Castle.

we loved every moment staying here, it was so beautiful and very relaxing. we are very satisfied with everything provided for us! loved the cows in the mornings was definitely better than the segals haha but we loved every minute and would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back! thank you so so much for an amazing time.

My stepdaughter and I spent an amazing week over Christmas and it was every bit as we imagined it would be. We took our 2 dogs with us and spent days at the dog friendly beaches near by. It was all so picturesque and peaceful. Would recommend it 100%

The enclosed garden was great. Our dogs really enjoyed running around. Plenty of parking spaces. Room for 3 cars. The verandas were fab. Plenty of room on both verandas. The property was large enough for plenty of people and very cosy. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus.

The only downside was the little bit of road going to the property was quite bumpy and the cold water tap wasn’t working in the main bathroom shower but could be easily rectified.

Holly and the team made us feel very welcomed. The coach house was a great base in the area with a lovely outlook from the garden for our family and two dogs. Easy access to the main road as well to get to the local beaches.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac and Great Welsh Escapes for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! Everything about this property is brilliant, I miss it already!

Apartment clean enough and well equipped. Lovely balcony and views. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The guest book is great and has all the details you need. Hosts were friendly and responsive when recommending places for food.
Not much to do around the location but easy enough to get into Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Luckily no one was staying in the apartment above us but I didn’t see a mention of this when booking. Car park space right outside which is good and then an overflow car park for any extra cars.

Property is in a delightful position and contains everything we needed for a lovely holiday stay.

The boathouse has bags of character, a pool, is in a great location and seamed to be great value… what more can you ask for 👏

Our stay at great Welsh was great, we enjoyed our stay including clean and tidy bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful garden, and amazing view. We also enjoyed hot tub. There were lots of things for kids and other things to play sports. Also host left us many things to eat and drink. Overall it was a perfect house and I recommend it if anyone wants to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host.

A little gem of a house in a great location, convenient for shops, pubs, restaurants and the castle. Very smart house, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with Great Welsh Escapes was excellent and quick too. Bottle of fizz on arrival was much appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Excellent place to stay if you are looking for the whole family accommodation. Everything’s available. Except of course you just need to bring your own shampoo and body wash. The rest is provided. Grocery shops are walking distance anyway. The location is perfect if you drive around especially going to the beach and other site seeing’s. But the accommodation for me is perfect. Safe and quiet.

Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views of the sea and countryside.
We visited with 2 children aged 10 and 12. All had a brilliant time visiting the local beaches and just enjoying the lovely cottage.

We had days out in Tenby and Pendine, as well as a beautiful walk down to Amroth beach. The house is welcoming and felt like home straight away, the hosts left us some lovely tea, coffee and other items as a nice surprise when we arrived. We had everything we needed for our stay, and we’re able to pop out to the local co op for food and drink during the week, about a 10 minute drive away.

Fantastic break at Brofallen and none of us wanted to leave!!

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

We had such a lovely relaxing time, the accommodation was beautiful and the view is spectacular. No effort was spared by the host, there was even Christmas decorations and a tree setup for our stay over Christmas, as well as a welcome pack. The furniture was neat and stylish and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area, it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay for us.

From booking the property for our holiday to checking out today everything has been superb. All messages and enquiries were responded to promptly and courteously. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and we were able to explore the length and breadth of south west Wales. The facilities at the property were five star. Couldn't fault anything. Bendigedig!

The bungalow was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was great for us that it is fully accessible as my disabled mother could visit.

This property is a great base for lots of beautiful Welsh places and only 10 mins drive from Carmarthen. Hot tub was lovely. I lay in it and looked at the stars.

A great few days away at this fab apartment. Very well equipped, clean and tidy and only a short walk to the centre.

Lovely spacious bungalow, with the added benefit of an annexe. This enabled us as a large family to spend quality time together. The property was clean & tidy with all utilities needed, the garden was wonderful for the kids and safe. The village was a short walk away and had a handy convenient store. Lots of activities within a 40 minute drive and Pembroke Castle was amazing.
Pendine sands is a 10 minute drive away and is a stunning beach.
Would definitely recommend this holiday destination.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!

I highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place, really well located, and the hosts Hazel and High are so nice and have such a great attention to detail.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely bungalow. It was so welcoming when we arrived and we enjoyed the gifts that where left for us.
It had everything we needed and more and can't recommend this place enough. So spacious yet cosy and the hot tub was a real treat.
Hazel and Hugh were very welcoming and came to check we had settled in ok. We really had the best time and look forward to another trip there again sometime.

The location and view from the property was simply stunning.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ve found it. This gem of a property is miles away from anything and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We spent 3 nights there and felt completely at home. With beautiful country walks literally from your doorstep, breathtaking views are only a few steps away!
Upon arrival, the property had everything you need, with a lovely welcome basket of goodies too. The wood burners are great too and kept the place toasty warm.
We stayed as a couple with our dog but the property will comfortably sleep 2 couples and has enough space that you’re not on top of each other either.
The hosts communicated effectively throughout the process and are thoroughly professional.

Fabulous staycation! Perfect for our family and dogs, loved the apartment, the balcony was huge which gave our dogs a bit of freedom. Couldn't fault it for our requirements.

The steep hill up to it, not a problem for us as we used the car.

The cottage is beautifully decorated to a very high standard and just perfect for a few days of R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed.

Very nice house, freshly renovated in the stunning location. Everything is done with a great taste. Location is perfect to explore the South Welsh.

Fabulous house, comfy beds, well equipped, generous and attentive host (who even left a lovely basket of foods for our arrival). But the Cors is more than all of this - from the amazing garden to the heron that kept appearing and hanging out to the many crows in the trees - this place is magical

This was a beautiful hidden gem, that simply didn’t disappoint. Not only did it feel like a home from home, but after such a relaxing weekend, we didn’t want to leave.

We had a lovely and relaxing winter stay at the cottage. Despite sub-zero temperatures we stayed nice and cosy thanks to the log burner and under-floor heating downstairs. Paula was very welcoming and friendly, as were the two farm dogs. We enjoyed exploring the local area and saw Curlews and a Golden Plover murmuration on our walks around Laugharne and Pendine. Would definitely come again.

Property was ideal for our few days stay. Very clean, comfortable beds and lounge, large dining kitchen with nice garden area at the rear. Very central for the Castle, estuary and restaurants. Lots of choice of eateries and good quality too. Parking at the property was a challenge as it was on one side of street which was busy, so had to park in the square - a 5 min walk away but free. Made it a bit tense when arriving and departing for loading/unloading car. Laugharne is definitely worth a visit, the views over the estuary are beautiful.

Firstly this place is just so amazing, stunning inside, very clean, really good communication, planty of space for our dog, and much more good things I definitely recommend this place and planning already to come back soon.

The most perfect holiday home. The house was spotless, had everything inside we could have wanted and the little things such as more than enough plates and towels etc for everyone which is always so helpful. A great space for everyone and the big garden is an added bonus and secure for animals which gives great peace of mind. The house was close to the town centre with perfect views from the balcony and kitchen window. We'd definitely stay at this home again it really felt like a home from home :)

This is truly a magical place to stay. You feel like you are the only ones in the woods. The position is perfect. Surrounded by trees, the estuary, fields. The house is very characterful and quirky. Beds super comfy and upstairs very well decorated and clean. Downstairs is a little tired maybe but that can be my only negative. Hosts very very helpful. Loved my two weeks stay .

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

The house was modern and spotlessly clean. There are two sitting rooms ideal for large groups. There were games and puzzles but the place was tidy and not cluttered. We could not think of a thing that wasn't provided. The kitchen also had every utensil you would need, a large fridge freezer and a stove with separate grill. There were great views from the garden. The WiFi was brilliant. Gave the location one less star as it is a twenty minute drive to a shop. The location though is beautiful, beach, castle, village and walks. There is a small shop which stocks essentials and is also a coffee shop. We had coffee and cake there which was delicious. Also two pubs which we did not go in. We did not have the best of weather and it was out of season however we felt very cozy in the house. Would definately return.

An absolutely emaculate property nestled away in a perfect location. This is the second time we visited and it's just as beautiful and perfect as the first time we stayed!

The Apartment is very clean, modern and extremely well equipped.
Only a short walk down to saundersfoot.

Great base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely views and apartment is exactly as described. It is properly equipped too! Views are magnificent, and it is close to all local amenities. I can recommend the Springwell Inn and The Coffee Shop for a visit… The beach is lovely, dog-friendly but very clean. It is a long stroll to the sea when the tide is out! Would definitely come again!

Was amazing place to stay. I have booked my parents in to the same place in a couple of weeks. Views were amazing, the apartment was clean, very well equipped and also the little touches of the shortbread & prosecco was so kind

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice to have a place with full sized fridge freezer. The whole place was very clean. It is very remote. Only a few cars drive by during the day. Ideal spot for local walking. Had a great time at the local castle. The lawn was cut a few days into our stay which made enjoying the garden easier. Would definitely stay here again.
