Ideal place to spend a week with the family. The Cors has very impressive gardens and a peaceful location with uniquely styled rooms. An excellent location for walks , pubs, castle & Dylan's Boathouse.

Lovely bungalow, peaceful. Fantastic views. Great location to go site seeing. All close by. Kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Spacious . The veranda was lovely with comfortable chairs to sit out and chill.

Balmoral us an excellent holiday property situated in Pendine with its lovely sandy beaches.
The owners are so welcoming and will do anything to make your holiday go well.

We had a very comfortable stay. The view is amazing from the lovely balcony. We appreciated the quiet location but also being so close to amenities and the beautiful beach.

Very spacious for the number of guests. It was a great location for a multi generation family trip. we didn't have great weather but nobody was bored. The house was stunning, the pictures don't do it justice.

Stayed a Sunnybank beginning of October for ten days. Immediately when you walk in you can see that the cottage is so clean and fresh. Everything you need for a holiday is there, just like home from home. The hot tub (which is very private) is excellent and so it the games room. The owners were easily contactable if needed. We would highly recommend this cottage. Although we didn't require, the cottage is also ideal if there is a disability shower wise etc. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Our hosts Buddig and Lloyd were welcoming, friendly, offering the very best of Welsh rural hospitality. Diolch yn fawr! A generous welcome pack with home made barabrith and their own honey, milk, tea, coffee etc was really appreciated. The location is quiet and beautiful with stunning views.The accommodation is comfortable, spacious and decorated in a 60s/70s theme. We loved the record player!

We had a lovely stay. As a family if 6 with two teenagers and two younger children the house was spacious and met all of our needs. Beautifully presented and clean. Well resourced kitchen. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of living space available for all.

The most beautiful place we've stayed inside and out. The photos don't do it justice! For us, it was perfectly located - away from the summer holiday chaos but 10-15 minutes from so many attractions (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Heatherton, Bluestone, Manor Park ...). The house itself is stunning as well as being clean and homely. We socialised mainly in the kitchen as the dining area was perfect for the kids to run outside. All the beds were super comfortable and the 3 main bedrooms were massive. The room with the bunkbeds is also a lot bigger than it looks in the photos! We'd love to go back to Middlelands!

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

Absolutely beautiful holiday stay we went away for our anniversary and we loved it , 💕 amazing welcome, really comfortable modern and spotless. We loved the hot tub too , We’ve already booked again . Wonderful hosts and amazing views of the estuary and town, met loads of people laughnies ( from Laugharne ) everyone was really friendly.
We had a fab time , it’s really near to the square where there are pubs , restaurants and lovely walks. Great place to relax and chill 🧘‍♀️ plenty to do and see and we did it in style. 🙏🩷🐶

This is a lovely cottage in the grounds of a castle. A real escape from the modern world. A perfect place to holiday with our 8-month old daughter. We had early morning walks in the castle grounds and cozy evenings in with the fires lit. Internet was only capable of handling messages, but that added to the experience in our opinion. A few cobwebs could be cleared up, but otherwise clean and the beds were very comfy.

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

We had a fantastic stay as a family of 7 + 1 dog. The house was absolutely spotless and everything was so well thought out to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Laura was a brilliant host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was a lovely addition and having a roof over it meant we could use it whatever the weather. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great place. Very clean. Felt at home. Only issue was that for a 3 bedroom home it only had 1 bathroom, albeit a very nice bathroom. Hosts were very responsive and answered questions quickly. I'd recommend this place again.

What a find!! We were looking for a last minute break and stumbled across this beautiful house. When we arrived we were blown away. It’s quirky decor, the size, the facilities (pool table and cinema room were a massive hit!), the grounds and the location were spot on. It was refreshing to find something so beautiful that was also dog friendly. Our dog is a big part of our family, she has mobility issues so we struggle to leave her, having the option to take her to such a stunning house was perfect.
Big thank you to Jac for all the beautiful little touches, those that were specific to us (the welcome hamper and sign) and those that were just throughout the house (the bbq with gas ready to use, the hot water bottles in the bedrooms, the toiletries etc) it really does make your house and our holiday even more memorable.

A lovely, modern cottage right in the heart of Laugharne, Chapel View is a good size for two, with a patio garden that is a real sun trap in the morning. Luckily we had great weather so didn’t spend that much time indoors but for those not so fortunate the cottage is a very nice place to be. Easy to book through Great Welsh Escapes who provide plenty of support and who attended to a minor issue we had speedily and efficiently.

An absolutely emaculate property nestled away in a perfect location. This is the second time we visited and it's just as beautiful and perfect as the first time we stayed!

Great base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely views and apartment is exactly as described. It is properly equipped too! Views are magnificent, and it is close to all local amenities. I can recommend the Springwell Inn and The Coffee Shop for a visit… The beach is lovely, dog-friendly but very clean. It is a long stroll to the sea when the tide is out! Would definitely come again!

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. Maes Y Mêl was absolutely beautiful - the property was spotless, it was a very cosy feel and the decor was amazing! I stayed for 8 days and did not want to leave as it was so homely inside! The views from around the property are breath taking! Both hosts living next to the property were lovely and very accommodating! I was left with some homemade honey from on the farm and some eggs from the chickens! Both delicious 10/10 all round!

We really enjoyed our stay in Tenby, the property was great and really roomy. We would definitely return. The only negative I would say is the camera in the back garden, it felt a little intrusive when you're trying to relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. Such a peaceful and tranquil place in beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the castle grounds to explore them but far enough away to be in your own space with no one else around.
The house was lovely, full of character, very comfortable and had all we needed. Set in its own woodland to explore and we woke to birdsong, lambs and other livestock in nearby fields. We got the Rayburn range going pretty easily and used it to cook several meals as well as adding some warmth after the sun went down.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Only 10 minutes from Carew Castle which we visited on Sunday morning followed by a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn opposite.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.
Would not hesitate to return and great value.

Our week at the Cors was our first family holiday for three years. It is a lovely, interesting house and there is plenty to do in Laugharne and the surrounding area. We had a really good time. Thank you to Jac and the team at GWE for all your help.

Amazing place with fabulous views. Host has thought of every scenario for those that stay there. Unable to fault the place. It’s a peaceful stunning area. Host friendly and responsive. Hot tub time was magical and great as the sunsets. The patch of fake grass proved a hit too.
Kitchen was spacious and plenty of cupboard space.
Stayed over Christmas and the small Xmas decoration was a nice touch.
Would certainly recommend if you’re after an escape from the hustle of normal life. Would love to go back again in the future. 5 star place all over

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

Lovely welcome pack include prosecco nice after a 5 hour drive. The accommodation is perfectly presented in every room. Thanks so much Ann and Ian.

It's a nice sized, comfortable house with good facilities. Quiet but in walking distance of Tenby.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

I cannot big this properly up enough, the hosts left a lovely welcome basket which was a very lovely and personal touch, Hazel made us feel welcome on arrival and checked everything was okay for us. The property was very cosy and extremely clean, there was robs and towels left for us to use for the hot tub, anything you could think of that you would have needed or wanted was at the property. The property is located in a private area which was amazing for the evenings, however there was an abundance of things for us to do and see through the days just a short drive from the property. There was plenty of restaurants around a ten minute drive away to choose from too. We loved the properly so much we booked an extra nights stay which was so easy to do through the sight. We have already highly recommend the property to friends and family and would surely book the property in the future.

Our 2nd visit. As we enjoyed it so much the last time. Great views, lovely little village, handy location for both long walks with the dog or shorter walks with the kids. Hot tub was maintained daily. And the whole house was presented really well. Recommended.

This is a beautiful barn conversion, you can really see the owners have put a lots of thought and effort into the finishing details. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet but only a 30 min walk into Carmarthen.

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

Absolutely fabulous apartment, clean and tidy, very high spec. Everything you need at hand. We were blessed with hot weather. Short walk from Pendine beach. Fabulous views of coastline.

The location was superb, overlooking a lake with wildfowl. Being on a farm at the end of a track, it was private and quiet. Having sole use of a large indoor heated pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortably furnished. There were shops in nearby St Clears with long opening hours, even on Sunday. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The steps down to the property were steep.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

Everything was great.

My sister and her family stayed here over Christmas so they could be close to the rest of the family. It was absolutely perfect. Walking distance into St Clears and close to amenities. The facilities were great with everything thought of for a comfortable stay. Lovely cosy log burners and traditional features added to the atmosphere in the
house. They would definitely stay in Cartrefle again.

This house is magnificent - a feast for the eyes if you enjoy this period of architecture. The house is enormous and but warm and comfortable at the same time. Great Welsh Escapes could not have done more to make our stay more special. Can throughly recommend! A beautiful barn in a very tranquil setting. We had storm Floris and could hardly hear it. We had everything we needed. Even the patchy internet signal was workable and meant less screen time which was a positive! So many lovely places to visit from sandy and pebble beaches, castles and beautiful gardens or shopping all within an hour. Great pub and café food in Laugharne and a warm welcome from all. Would highly recommend it. It really was relaxing and just beautiful.

Our long weekend stay was great. Extremely comfortable accommodation, like home from home. Everything about the property was to our liking. Plenty of space for us to relax and all the amenities we could wish for. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful house and location! Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions. Lots of things to do in the area and perfectly situated between the Brecon Beacons and pembrokshire. Only small thing I would say was that there was no tea bags, coffee was limited, no olive oil - Little things like this would make life much easier and don’t cost a lot! We absolutely loved our stay. We had such a warm friendly welcome from Paula and loved meeting her two dogs! The cottage was so homey and comfortable for our winter stay. Paula recommended we walk over to the old church ruin by the sheep field which was excellent, amazing to be near such history! Plus we got to see the sweet surprise lambs. Highly recommend this cottage!

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

View from the apartment is what we will most remember, watching the waves and the people coming and going. Apartment was comfortable and clean, plenty of space for a family of 3. Photos don’t really do it justice. Would definitely return.

Amazing home from home with all you need and more, just with better views. This cottage has so much space and everything you could need. Great central location with little bits of magic like Llansteffan beach 10mins away. Also try the Fox n Hounds for Sunday lunch platter - yummy.
Hosts are just the best so treat this place with respect.

Very nice cosy accommodation quiet and has its own yard to sit out very comfortable, there is a bar a few minutes walk away very handy.

Lovely stay, as it was getting dark they had put the lights on. Warm and welcoming accommodation just right where we needed to be. Will definitely return

The bungalow is in a beautiful location with stunning views of Laugharne. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable short break. The bungalow was immaculate inside and the addition of a hot tub was a real luxury.
We met the owner who was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Very helpful and friendly hosts.Thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. Check-in was very smooth. The property was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. Sofa and beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Awel Taf to friends and family.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return

Beautiful apartment, extremely well presented, very comfy bed, with all the amenities you could possibly need, quiet building in a perfect location, excellent, helpful service from the hosts, cannot fault anything about the my stay here. Will definitely be staying again.

Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Having to come home

We had a lovely holiday in Saundersfoot, the house Ser Ar Y Bryn had all what we needed, a secure garden, ( for a dog) very comfortable beds hot shower and comfy furniture to relax of an evening, although the kitchen had everything you needed, we ate out most of the time, Saundersfoot was only a short walk( although quite a steep hill) we didn’t mind the hill . Communication with Ruth was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Thanks

Llais y Mor in Llansteffan is a gorgeous house with lovely gardens. Would highly recommend this property. Everthing was just perfect.
