Lovely cottage in laugharne King Street. Very comfortable, kitchen had everything I needed. Lovely outside area, bedroom beautifully decorated. Bathroom lovely with huge shower unit. I really enjoyed my stay. Lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting on arrival was a very nice extra. I had a lovely stay here and will definitely book it again. Thank you!

this is a very comfortable family house with wonderful views over Camarthen Bay . A spacious garden room that means you can sit and enjoy watching the weather coming in from the sea.
Sadly the weather was very Welsh and we had rain everyday but the large living dining kitchen meant we could enjoy being together.

The Old School House far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful place to stay in. It’s spacious, clean, peaceful & looks stunning.
Clear instructions, especially the tip for using What3Words! The hosts were very responsive when emailed.
We had everything we needed. We spent plenty of time chilling there, but also went to Pendine Beach which was a great place with plenty of space, glorious sand & great views.
There’s a lovely cafe literally next door to the property in a converted barn, great food & friendly hosts.
We spoke to one of the neighbours out walking his dogs & he was friendly & told us to visit Poons Street Cafe in Laugharne but unfortunately we didn’t get chance.
We highly recommend The Old School House.

Llais y Mor in Llansteffan is a gorgeous house with lovely gardens. Would highly recommend this property. Everthing was just perfect.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

We loved everything about the barn and chaffhouse and the children are wanting us to buy a barn of our own. The barn is perfect and the area is stunning. We've been staycationing in Croyde for years and moving forward we have decided to make this our new staycation venue. Very Impressed. Comfortably accommodated our family - Mum, Dad and 4 children, 6, 4, 2 and 5 months.

It has a lovely feel about it and everything you could want when on holiday. It is a steep walk back from the beach but worth it.
The garden has a lovely view of the fields.
We had a lovely time and even though we were only there for a weekend felt like we had been on a real holiday.

Clean modern flat with a great view. Under floor heating. comfortable bedrooms. Everything you need in the kitchen and living room areas. Allocated parking at the property.
The location is up a hill and it's dark at night so I recommend you bring a torch if you're walking at night or coming by public transport.

Perfect farmhouse with everything you need from home to home would definitely visit again in the future.

Charlotte is an incredible host and made us feel so welcome. The barn is wonderful and a lovely peaceful place to relax. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended! We’ll look forward to visiting again.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. Can’t wait to come back again for another memorable break :)

FOOTPRINTS is a lovely flat in a great location , the walk to the beach just opposite is amazing. The flat is immaculate, well decorated, great storage space and has everything needed for 2. can not fault it in any way .
The owner was helpful and very friendly.

Attended for 2 nights as a valentines gift for my girlfriend. Absolutely beautiful location, owners were so friendly and the house was absolutely immaculate not a spec of dust. Everything we needed and more lots of amenities house is in a great location hottub was so clean the house smelt amazing. Can't praise this place enough. Extremely reasonable price we will be coming back for sure!

Great stay! Location was excellent , 10 minute walk into the village, easy drive to Tenby, Pembroke and beyond. Felt ‘home from home’ - great thought has been given to those little extras, like the ample herbs and spices, the magnifying mirror and the very comfortable bed. Lovely three night stay which we’d love to repeat!

Location allows trips to Pembrokshire / Brecon Beacons / Gower in around ~1h one-way - we found it very convenient.
Interior is to very high standard, farm environment is marvellous. The place is great value for money indeed!

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

Really enjoyed staying at tranquil house by the lake. Very cosy and well maintained, it was a great place to unwind for few days. didn't use the pool but having the sauna available during the winter was nice. Communication from Jess was great and spoke to the owner on site who was very friendly also. The Boathouse would be even better in the summer to be able to sit out and watch ducks swim around.

Fabulous staycation! Perfect for our family and dogs, loved the apartment, the balcony was huge which gave our dogs a bit of freedom. Couldn't fault it for our requirements.

The steep hill up to it, not a problem for us as we used the car.

Loved every second! The house was beautiful and very homely, the views were beautiful! The house was so clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and are such lovely people!

Family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids and all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everybody and having a 2nd lounge is great for when the children want to make some noise.
House is well maintained and gardens great for kids to play.
House is well appointed and hosts (GWE) made contact after check in - we had to solve a beeping dishwasher with some salt but that was it in terms of issues.
New pans were dropped off during our stay following previous guest feedback.
Really great stay and would happily return there or to another property managed by the host.

Great place. Very clean. Felt at home. Only issue was that for a 3 bedroom home it only had 1 bathroom, albeit a very nice bathroom. Hosts were very responsive and answered questions quickly. I'd recommend this place again.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Our long weekend stay was great. Extremely comfortable accommodation, like home from home. Everything about the property was to our liking. Plenty of space for us to relax and all the amenities we could wish for. Will definitely book again.

It was a beautiful house and with all the amenities anyone could ask for. It really felt as if we were staying in someone's home. Everything you could think of was in the ktichen. It made it very nice to be able to cook home meals there. The view is spectacular from the sun deck and the local town of Laugharne was super friendly. We loved it. highly recommend.

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

Great Welsh Escapes' "Gwalia" in Laugharne is an amazing house, steeped in history and beautifully decorated. An ideal base from where to explore the fabulous Welsh beaches and countryside, you will return from there recharged and refreshed. Great local restaurants literally on the doorstep mean you can enjoy fantastic food without having to worry about cooking for yourselves, although there is also a small supermarket 2 minute walk away. We have been twice. We will return again.

As for Great Welsh Escapes themselves, they are friendly, easy to contact and responsive. A great outfit that you can trust.

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! A lovely and cosy air bnb, we loved every second of our stay there. The bed was very comfortable, the record player was a great touch, the bathroom and kitchen had everything that we need and more, and the fire place set a lovely mood for the evening. Overall an amazing stay, would definitely recommend and we’d definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Lloret property for 4 days over Christmas. Exceeded our expectations. GWE communicated well throughout and were keen to do all they could to ensure that we had a good experience. All the facilities at the property were in excellent condition. Beds very comfortable. Lovely views. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Wildhaven - the remote location was exactly the break we needed.
The house is as lovely as the pictures, well equipped and extremely peaceful.
The weather wasn’t great the week we stayed but it didn’t matter! We had one clear night and the blanket of stars in the sky was magical. The WiFi was good and phone reception ok. We’d recommend staying!

Lovely time renting this property. Huge place with a lovely town on the doorstep.

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

The place itself was amazing — located on top of a hill with breathtaking views. 🌅 You can walk to the beach in about 10 minutes ⛱️, reach the shops downhill in around 7 minutes, and there’s even a cozy pub on the beach just a 15-minute walk away. Perfect balance of peace and convenience!

The property and grounds surpassed all expectations. Everything was spotless, the amenities are fantastic, including the hottub with outstanding views. The grounds are perfect for an explorative toddler with a lot of energy.

Wow! What a beautiful property. We really enjoyed it with our extended family. 3 nights of good quality family time. Everything we needed was at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked and was a pleasure to cook in. Rooms were a great size and beds were comfortable. The interior design of the property was perfect with amazing attention to detail. The hot tub was just perfect, worked well and was a hit with some of our younger family members. It was very kid and dog friendly with the property being totally fenced off and gated. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone especially larger families with dogs!

Took elderly parents for 5 day break. Location was spot on. To look out at laugharne castle and the estuary through the living room window was awesome and watching the mist rolling up the estuary in the early morning. House was so well equipped, everything you could need. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. Such a peaceful and tranquil place in beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the castle grounds to explore them but far enough away to be in your own space with no one else around.
The house was lovely, full of character, very comfortable and had all we needed. Set in its own woodland to explore and we woke to birdsong, lambs and other livestock in nearby fields. We got the Rayburn range going pretty easily and used it to cook several meals as well as adding some warmth after the sun went down.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Only 10 minutes from Carew Castle which we visited on Sunday morning followed by a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn opposite.

The house was modern and spotlessly clean. There are two sitting rooms ideal for large groups. There were games and puzzles but the place was tidy and not cluttered. We could not think of a thing that wasn't provided. The kitchen also had every utensil you would need, a large fridge freezer and a stove with separate grill. There were great views from the garden. The WiFi was brilliant. Gave the location one less star as it is a twenty minute drive to a shop. The location though is beautiful, beach, castle, village and walks. There is a small shop which stocks essentials and is also a coffee shop. We had coffee and cake there which was delicious. Also two pubs which we did not go in. We did not have the best of weather and it was out of season however we felt very cozy in the house. Would definately return.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and the towels and linen were very high quality. The bedroom is a lovely size and the open plan kitchen/lounge is just perfect for a few days’ R&R. It had everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were very impressed. The rainfall shower was a wonderful addition.
The cottage is on a main road which was a little noisy at times but only because we’re not used to traffic. There is only a double bed as well which, again, we’re not used to but everything else was just perfect.

Came to stay in Laugharne for our first trip to Wales and wasn’t disappointed! Great location with access to some good food places locally. Host was very friendly and the property was as exactly described. Property was nice and clean when we arrived also! Would stay again :)

Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views of the sea and countryside.
We visited with 2 children aged 10 and 12. All had a brilliant time visiting the local beaches and just enjoying the lovely cottage.

We had days out in Tenby and Pendine, as well as a beautiful walk down to Amroth beach. The house is welcoming and felt like home straight away, the hosts left us some lovely tea, coffee and other items as a nice surprise when we arrived. We had everything we needed for our stay, and we’re able to pop out to the local co op for food and drink during the week, about a 10 minute drive away.

Fantastic break at Brofallen and none of us wanted to leave!!

We had a lovely holiday in Saundersfoot, the house Ser Ar Y Bryn had all what we needed, a secure garden, ( for a dog) very comfortable beds hot shower and comfy furniture to relax of an evening, although the kitchen had everything you needed, we ate out most of the time, Saundersfoot was only a short walk( although quite a steep hill) we didn’t mind the hill . Communication with Ruth was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Thanks

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. The area is fab with lots of good places to eat and some good local walks.

Our family really enjoyed the peaceful setting. the cottage is perfectly set up. we had everything we needed. The swimming was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place for you.

Such a lovely apartment! Perfectly situated for exploring the coast, but also cosy enough for hunkering down and getting cozy in bad weather! The apartment was easy to check into and the complex is really peaceful. Saundersfoot is a gorgeous friendly place definitely worth staying in.

Very central location, just a few metres from both beaches and the harbour. Clean and tidy accommodation, nicely decorated. Tenby was lovely, with some quirky alleys and independent bars and shops.
Just be aware of parking logistics (top of the hill in a multi storey) and pedestrianised roads during the day. We had a great time!

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

What a beautiful spot on earth! After being away from Wales for 8 years, we were looking for a special place to return...and "The Lookout at Goscar" absolutely delivered...spectacular views over the harbour and North Beach...comfortable beds, nice kitchen...situated in the middle of town a stone throw away from the beach.
Tenby is such a beautiful place, with lonely mornings at spectacular beaches, boat tours to see Seals and busy pub live and sweets shops for the little ones.
All in all we had perfect holidays with our little daughter...we will be back!

The most perfect holiday home. The house was spotless, had everything inside we could have wanted and the little things such as more than enough plates and towels etc for everyone which is always so helpful. A great space for everyone and the big garden is an added bonus and secure for animals which gives great peace of mind. The house was close to the town centre with perfect views from the balcony and kitchen window. We'd definitely stay at this home again it really felt like a home from home :)

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

This was a great base for a long weekend away with 6 adults and a baby. The house is on a quiet, private street and is a walkable distance from the town centre and the beach. The walk is a steep one but doable, even with a buggy. The house itself is spacious and well thought- out with nice, homely touches like live plants, umbrellas, blankets etc. The garden is lovely and there are sea views from the back bedrooms. The place was very clean and we were able to check in early which was very helpful after a long journey with a small baby. The communication with the host was very good. 5/5 ☺️

Location was idilic and had everything we needed for the perfect break away. Host was polite, friendly and communicative. Would certainly stay again and have already made plans to come back to the area.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

Fantastic weekend away the accommodation was amazing with plenty of room. The location was ideal great restaurants in the area highly recommend milk wood house and there were also some lovely walks.

Beautiful setting, lovely cottage, and the pool is a fantastic added bonus! Would certainly stay again - it was fantastic for a couple, but we'll hopefully be back with friends in future.

We had a great stay, the house was exactly as advertised and the location was particularly good. Right in town and an easy walk to lots of pubs and cafes.

A really comfortable and well equipped property and as is stated in the details. In a good location in the centre of Laugharne which has a good range of eating places and small stores. The food from Poons was fabulous.

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

The Cottage was really lovely, very spacious fabulous location overlooking the estuary. The gardens are secure for children and pets. Plenty of outside space. Laugharne is a lovely friendly peaceful place with lovely walks, nice pubs and cafes. Fully recommend

Fantastic location and lovely property. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. It was lovely and warm and spacious. A special thank you to Sammie from Great Welsh Escapes who responded to our one minor issue at 10pm on a Saturday evening and ensured it was all sorted by the following morning - that shows fantastic commitment and customer service.

The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was amazing and fully furnished which was great for families to get together. The house was very secluded and private but you need a car as nothing really walking distance that is open in February.

A beautiful house with breathtaking views. Plenty of room, nice upgrades, and in a fantastic location. Only a 2 minute walk to town but perfectly peaceful.
