We’ve had a wonderful time in beautiful surroundings. The property was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Real home from home.
Hannah, the owner, kept us updated and was very friendly.

Apartment clean enough and well equipped. Lovely balcony and views. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The guest book is great and has all the details you need. Hosts were friendly and responsive when recommending places for food.
Not much to do around the location but easy enough to get into Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Luckily no one was staying in the apartment above us but I didn’t see a mention of this when booking. Car park space right outside which is good and then an overflow car park for any extra cars.

Excellent cottage with great walking options right from the doorstep. Remote setting in stunning scenery makes this a fantastic choice for a Welsh get-away.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Better than expected and a pleasure to return to after days out. Could relax and enjoy the comfort, the hot tub, off road parking and the views. Certainly deserves five stars. Would definitely recommend it.

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

The property and grounds surpassed all expectations. Everything was spotless, the amenities are fantastic, including the hottub with outstanding views. The grounds are perfect for an explorative toddler with a lot of energy.
We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back soon!
Great escapes were fantastic with communication prior to and during our stay and we would not hesitate to use them in the future.

The house is beautiful and view from the conservatory was stunning.

A beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. Gwalia house has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The welcome gifts included home grown tomatoes and a delicious wine as well as some beautiful cut flowers. Also appreciated the very comfy beds and how clean the property was kept. Laugharne is a quaint and peaceful town with the castle, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. We recommend the local Dylan Thomas Boathouse walk. There’s lovely views of the Gower and River Taf. Also not too far away - a 30-45 minute drive - if you want to visit different parts of the South Pembrokeshire coast.

Really excellent stay, even with average weather we got a lot of use out of the pool. The house is amazing and really spacious with great Wifi throughout. Would definitely return. Thanks for the great break.

This is a beautiful barn conversion, you can really see the owners have put a lots of thought and effort into the finishing details. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet but only a 30 min walk into Carmarthen.

The host was friendly and welcoming and the hot tub was fantastic.

Beautiful stay for our Welsh weekend away. The BnB itself was exactly as photographed, spotless with stunning modern interior and a handy, compact, ‘everything-you-need’ kitchen area. We decided to cook both evenings, and made use of some lovely freshly harvested vegetables left for us in a whicker basket on the side - a really nice touch. 🥦🌽🍅
The Hottub was perfect in every way, theraputic, relaxing and perfect under the stars at night. Similarly, the bathroom was just as great with a strong over head shower, and 2nd handheld option. We also enjoyed finding some amusement from watching the young goats and chickens in their run nearby the back of the BnB. 🐐🐓
A really perfect stay and one we will definitely keep in mind for our future trips to Wales. Would highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic rural location, great for families, cozy, amazing panoramic views

We had a lovely 4 night stay and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. If we ever return to this part of Wales, we will look to book the same place.

Very cosy and tidy house. Very quiet surroundings and a bit to drive for the more interesting to-dos (beaches, castles/houses/gardens) of the region.

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

Everything about this property is great and very good service from the Great Welsh Escapes, Good location to explore south/west of wales. Nice village. Kids enjoyed the stay at this house.For sure will book this property next time.

Initially awkward to find, the parking space was very narrow, toilet roll holder in awkward position.

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

A wondefil cottge with stunning views good quality furnishings and bedding/towels. Very approachable owners . Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

The boathouse has bags of character, a pool, is in a great location and seamed to be great value… what more can you ask for 👏

Heated indoor swimming pool and sauna for our own personal use lakeside views with ducks looking out for you everything you would want to hand including WiFi fully equipped kitchen

Having to come home

It was well equipped with all the necessities, and when we did have a request it was dealt with promptly. It was single level and had a great laundry room.

the only criticism is there was inadequate storage for the suitcases in the bedroom.

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!
Could not fault this place at all and will definitely return

We had an incredible time and loved staying at Maes Y Mel. It was a home away from home and we’ll definitely be coming back again in years to come. The hosts were so kind and friendly, a fantastic holiday spot to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Comfortable, cosy cottage in beautiful Laugharne. Cottage well equipped, warm and a lovely place to relax after busy days out. Great location in the centre of the town. Short walk to the Castle and shop/pubs/cafes. We ate twice in the Portreeves Restaurant which did great food and wine. Browns Hotel also good. Enjoyed the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and writing Shed and his Birthday Walk. Highly recommend a stay at Chapel View.

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

It was a cosy cabin,did barbeque and bonfire,Really quiet and remote to be in nature and do star gazing at night,close by beaches so good location.
Also had a fireplace and equipped kitchen with two beds and baths.

Saundersfoot and surrounding areas are beautiful. This flat is the perfect base for making the most of it with its sea view and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will gladly return to this location.

beautiful house with beautifully decorated rooms. extremely clean on arrival with a welcome package for us. dog friendly with large garden. cinema room and pool room were absolutely fabulous for us all to use during our stay. house in perfect location - only 5 minute walk to local shops, pubs and castle with walks on your doorstep and then able to travel to Tenby in only 30 mins and Brecon Beacons in an hour.

I recently stayed at this beautiful holiday apartment in Saundersfoot & I can honestly say it was perfect in every way. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped — everything I needed was provided and more. The attention to detail really stood out.
The location was ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to explore the shops and bars and nearby coastal walks. Communication with the host was seamless — they were friendly, helpful, and clearly take great pride in making their guests feel welcome.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but this apartment truly did. I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in this part of Wales!

The cottage was very central and close to restaurants and bars. Lovely place.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

Excellent weekend at Dylan’s Den, the apartment was well appointed and sparkly clean. All 4 rooms were well appointed and had everything we needed.
We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay with our young family. Great location to visit local attractions. Our boys loved meeting our neighbours (goats and chickens) and our hosts were very helpful and attentive.

We sat watching the sunset from the hot tub to the sound of cows lol it was amazing, we can’t wait to book again! The hosts were really nice and accommodating. when we had unplanned arrivals join us, at our request they got the neighbouring air B’n’B set up and ready for our guests straightaway so that they had their own space. Lovely place to stay, they’ve got really friendly goats just outside the decking area too!

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

Overall, great place to stay at. The pictures appeared as if the property was very spacious however the rooms were smaller than we expected.

We loved our short stay at the Great House, what a house. The children particularly enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and we all loved the snug and kitchen for being together. A perfect stay - we will definitely be back.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Fabulous staycation! Perfect for our family and dogs, loved the apartment, the balcony was huge which gave our dogs a bit of freedom. Couldn't fault it for our requirements.

The steep hill up to it, not a problem for us as we used the car.

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

Fantastic location. Well equipped flat with everything that one could want for a weeks stay. Most outstanding factor was the view over the harbour.

Excellent from start to finish, the place was exactly as listed and really modern which was great!! My one critique would have been to have dog bowls as we actually forgot ours but not a major issue and honestly we had the best time all weekend!! Decor was lovely and really modern which I like as it felt super fresh and clean inside. Really clear instructions and everything around check in went smoothly, we were a little late checking out but again really lovely host said it’s fine and just waited 10 mins for us to leave. Excellent service and also lovely garden even though the weather wasn’t great having the private space for the dogs was really needed and welcomed. Love it all thank you so much

We had the best stay at Wildhaven. It is totally private with a great enclosed garden. The walks from the doorstep were stunning, you could spend a week there and not have to go out in the car! We loved seeing the sheep on the hills, as well as the birds of prey and hares. The cottage is incredibly comfortable and clean, we really didn’t want to leave! It’s a great place to stay whether you’re alone, a couple, a family or with your dog. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday!

Had a fantastic few days away at the barn, really lovely property in a great location. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed, it was spotless throughout and had a nice comfy sofa. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to explore this part of Wales!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

Absolutely fabulous apartment, clean and tidy, very high spec. Everything you need at hand. We were blessed with hot weather. Short walk from Pendine beach. Fabulous views of coastline.

Family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids and all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everybody and having a 2nd lounge is great for when the children want to make some noise.
House is well maintained and gardens great for kids to play.
House is well appointed and hosts (GWE) made contact after check in - we had to solve a beeping dishwasher with some salt but that was it in terms of issues.
New pans were dropped off during our stay following previous guest feedback.
Really great stay and would happily return there or to another property managed by the host.

The pictures don’t do it justice, perfect location so peaceful we slept like logs. House was brilliant and clean, hot tub amazing. Hanna was the perfect host and helped us with anything we needed and was understanding when a few things happened (our toddler may have taken a remote back home with us🤦‍♀️) can’t recommend this place enough! We can’t wait to return

The private pool and sauna was amazing.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Had a fantastic stay at The Cors for a second year here. Its an fab place to stay & we had a good chill out. Will hopefully go in 2023.

This was a brilliant property, with all the comforts you would want and a very well equipped kitchen. It has very generous sized social areas and kitchen for 8 people and it was great how close to the estuary and castle it was too. Would definitely visit again!

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

A fantastic stay - beautiful surroundings and an incredible view from the sunroom. The wooden benches in the garden were perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or a drink at the end of the day.

Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

Our family really enjoyed the peaceful setting. the cottage is perfectly set up. we had everything we needed. The swimming was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place for you.

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Beautiful, well equiped, spacious and beautifully renovated with plenty of outdoor space. Just need to be mindful of spiral staircases and that guests in those rooms are able to manage them. Great local farm based restaurant - Paternoster Farm - highly recommend (only open on certain nights and need to book): Highly recommend restaurant at the Point House in Angel (again need to book) and the Kings Arms in Pembroke: and must visit Pembroke Castle.

The position was ontop of a hill which was ok for the time we were staying but it would be very difficult in the busy season

It was much better than expected, host Hazel was helpful, friendly and provides more extras than we have ever seen. It exceeded our expectations and if we go to Wales in future would always look to stay here again .

The property had everything you needed. Mona and Graham were lovely and made you feel very welcome. The property was close to beach.

Had an absolutely amazing stay here, so peaceful and isolated. Great place to unwind. Everything you could need, great sound system in the living room with tv and comfy beds. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Had a fantastic 3 nights at the bungalow. Nice and spacious, fantastic views and very peaceful.

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?
