This little gem of a house far exceeded our expectations. Brilliantly positioned for walks and drives to local beauty spots.
The facilities were top class with everything that you could want for a break.
The real extra benefits for us as a family - heating that could be localised in each room, two bathrooms, perfect size kitchen, cosy living room with a working log burner.
The parking is a bit tricky but you can find local parking within 3 min walk if nothing available outside. (all free).
We had a wonderful stay and will return

A really wonderful property, which was immaculate and very homely! Laura is a lovely host, and is so approachable - she really goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely want to come back again, and highly recommend!

we had a lovely holiday at footprints beautiful clean and modern apartment everything we needed. close to beach and town .a little tricky to find to start but with a little help we found it .got to be one of the best places we have ever stayed at...the people were so friendly and the pubs and restaurants were superb fully recommend. just loved it ...🙂😊🏖😎

The house was very cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped and the Great Welsh Escapes staff were nice to deal with.

AMAZING! The bungalow had everything we needed and more! Views were beautiful from every window, we could have sat for hours just looking! The bungalow was spotlessly clean. beds really comfortable, nice, much appreciated welcoming gifts and the hot tub was great to relaxing in the evening. we found all the neighbours really friendly and all had time to chat and tell us places to visit. would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. Outstanding accommodation, the location in particular provided breathtaking views.
The house itself is very well equipped and there is nothing that you need to buy to make your stay comfortable. A welcome pack of chocolates, biscuits, wine, milk and butter were very much appreciated.
The layout of the property is perfect for a family or couples looking for a relaxing break.
The grounds are perfect for explorative energetic children, our son particularly loved his morning visit to the cows.
I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s an absolute steal and we will definitely be back!

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

This was our first ever Air bnb experience. And it most certainly exceeded our expectations. The place is perfect for a little family holiday and have plenty to do within a 30 min drive of the place. There’s even plenty to do in the lodge also with a spacious hot tub, games and crafts for the kids, outside toys etc.

The host is wonderful and can’t do enough. Every little detail has been thought about and the cleanliness of the place is amazing. The lovely hamper, Easter egg and balloons for my son and partner birthdays was a really sweet touch.

Hot tub is amazing! Views are amazing! The lodge is amazing! This place is just amazing. And I’ve told all my friends and family that they need a little trip here.

We will definitely be coming back here soon! Thank you!

Sunrise Super View , Hot Tub

We had a fantastic staycation experience!

Firstly, the good view we experienced was stunning, especially we witnessed a sunrise you had never seen before. The fact that i am specially mentioning it as it left a strong impression on me .

Additionally, the facility good amenities, including a spacious and clean home and a hot tub. These types of features can make all the difference in creating a relaxing and enjoyable staycation experience.

Overall, it was very positive and happy time we spent with family.
Thanks again as this stay will remain in our and my 6 year old girl memories forever.

Absolutely beautiful holiday stay we went away for our anniversary and we loved it , 💕 amazing welcome, really comfortable modern and spotless. We loved the hot tub too , We’ve already booked again . Wonderful hosts and amazing views of the estuary and town, met loads of people laughnies ( from Laugharne ) everyone was really friendly.
We had a fab time , it’s really near to the square where there are pubs , restaurants and lovely walks. Great place to relax and chill 🧘‍♀️ plenty to do and see and we did it in style. 🙏🩷🐶

The property was well equipped and very clean. The courtyard was perfect to sit in for an evening drink. The garden was beautiful and well kept. It was a perfect location to visit different places, and going to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. Would definitely stay again.

Such a gorgeous home! Something really special and so beautiful. Brilliant location - a lovely beach nearby at Pendine Sands and a great base for day trips to Barafundle Bay, Tenby etc. We want to go back already!

A beautiful cottage in a great location. It has been beautifully renovated with lots of attention to detail and felt modern but homely. It had everything you needed and was comfy and cosy. Having a designated parking spot was really handy and appreciated. We will definitely go back to Rhif Un in the near future.

We had a great stay, the hosts provided snacks and drinks which were ready and waiting when we arrived.

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The cottage was very comfortable and the setting was ideal - peaceful and with stunning views, especially at sunset. Paula was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and to return.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

Beautiful old house with so much history, plenty to do in Laugharne, really nice to have restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance. Lovely to have a pool at the house too.

We had a superb 10 days at Yr Hen Feudy in Llandybie, which completely lived up to our expectations. Our hosts greeted us and showed us around, and nothing was too much trouble. We were grateful for the thoughtful little creature comforts which made our destination into a 'home from home', as well as all the information relating to the area and places of interest. We were blessed with lovely weather as well, enabling us to enjoy walking in the Brecon Beacons as well as along Rhosili Bay. Our Great Welsh Escape provided a much needed opportunity to unplug, rest and relax, restoring both mind and soul. Thank you very much.

Me and my family had stayed at Drefach from the 31st of August till the 4th of September. Instructions for checking in were straightforward. The property itself was very clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates and cutlery as well as some essential cooking ingredients. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was brilliant. Overall, we all had a great time, including our dog who enjoyed his stay. We would recommend this property.

Property was excellent with the facilities and equipment as much as anyone could ask for.

The bungalow was both beautiful and tranquil, providing an exceptional experience. The beds were notably comfortable, and the entire space maintained a high standard of cleanliness. Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

It was a good place, we had a good time and the owner was very communicative and very helpful.
We had issues with wifi not working during our stay, looks like it was an BT issue (BT were called and attended but couldn't rectify the issue). Which did rob us off some quality time in the evenings.
If not everything was really good.
I would recommend this place.

We all hade a great time in Laugharne, it was great to get away from the busy life we all have.

The property is spacious, stylish and well maintained. Rear garden was a nice space and if we had had more time we would have made good use of the decking area overlooking fields at the back.

Beautiful setting, lovely cottage, and the pool is a fantastic added bonus! Would certainly stay again - it was fantastic for a couple, but we'll hopefully be back with friends in future.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

We love staying at Y Bwthyn. Comfy, stylish cottage with everything you need right in the heart of Laugharne. Hosts always thoughtful and manual really clear and helpful. Thank you so much!

Our stay at great Welsh was great, we enjoyed our stay including clean and tidy bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful garden, and amazing view. We also enjoyed hot tub. There were lots of things for kids and other things to play sports. Also host left us many things to eat and drink. Overall it was a perfect house and I recommend it if anyone wants to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host.

Had a super stay at the Barn and Chaffhouse in Castlemartin. It was ideally located for glorious beaches and scenery. Very well appointed and great hosts. Would recommend a stay here anytime.

The property had everything you needed. Mona and Graham were lovely and made you feel very welcome. The property was close to beach.

Everything was perfect

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

We loved our short stay at the Great House, what a house. The children particularly enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and we all loved the snug and kitchen for being together. A perfect stay - we will definitely be back.

This house was perfect for our needs. Daughter, son in law & grandchildren (age 2 & 3) slept downstairs and the rest of us were upstairs. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. Two living room areas which were well equipped. Kitchen also had plenty of space and all that was needed for our stay. We appreciated the car parking space rather than parking on the street as the village is quite narrow in places. We didn’t use the log burner as the house was lovely and warm & there was always lots of hot water.
We would definitely recommend this house & would book again. Booking with Welsh Escapes was easy and communication excellent.

Stayed with family, was extremely clean and orangised. Lovely warm fire, cosy front room and the best kitchen I’ve ever cooked in.
Would 100% stay again, only down side was there was no wardrobes but it’s not the end of the world living out a case for a few days.

Overall, great place to stay at. The pictures appeared as if the property was very spacious however the rooms were smaller than we expected.

We had an incredible time and loved staying at Maes Y Mel. It was a home away from home and we’ll definitely be coming back again in years to come. The hosts were so kind and friendly, a fantastic holiday spot to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

we loved every moment staying here, it was so beautiful and very relaxing. we are very satisfied with everything provided for us! loved the cows in the mornings was definitely better than the segals haha but we loved every minute and would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back! thank you so so much for an amazing time.

A really lovely property- I stayed with five friends for a long weekend and we loved the space, the kitchen was so well appointed and the bathrooms all lovely. Comfy beds, warm and cosy, and it was easy to find parking which was great with three cars. I’d easily recommend it to others- Laugharne isn’t the most bustling location (loved the Three Mariners pub!) but really easy to get out to Tenby and other beautiful areas around. I only wish we’d had slightly later check out!

We had a great stay with Hugh and Hazel. They'd put a lot of effort into making the home as welcoming to all (including supplies for rainy days). It was comfortable, well stocked (beyond what I'd normally expect) and they'd left us with plenty of recommendations. Couldn't fault them!

What a perfect apartment, great location, superbly comfortable, stylishly furnished & decorated, all the facilities we could need. Definitely worth a return visit.

Initially awkward to find, the parking space was very narrow, toilet roll holder in awkward position.

Property was clean and well equipped.
Very spacious with plenty of cutlery and China.
We were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

I love Wales and this is a great place to stay for Pembrokeshire.
The coast is a 4 minute drive and parking to gorgeous freshwater west.
Pembroke is 10 mins away and a lovely town. Go to the games cafe on the high street for fun and get the scoop on best places to eat.
We felt at home in the barn. The weather was awful with high winds across the SW and it rained every day but we felt so toasty once we were inside after a day out. The home heating is very clever and we popped on the lovely fire when needed.
Despite the weather we managed to have a wonderful time. I’ve never laughed so much trying to stand up with high winds.
Plenty of wonderful dog friendly places.
Bring your wellies!

This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

Footprints is a well equipped apartment in a good location.
It provides a good base for a relaxing stay . It is easy to explore other areas of Pembrokeshire from here.
There are several pubs /restaurants in walking distance from the apartment.

It was very clean and had everything you could wish for. They really have thought of everything it was amazing. The hot tub was appreciated after a busy day exploring.

We had a wonderful stay here. Photos don’t to the cottage justice as cottage and rooms were bigger than photographs allude to. The location was fantastic and so was the communication too. There was a lovely welcome package and everything far exceeded our expectations. Parking was tricky on times however we always managed to find a space nearby. Would most definitely stay here again.

Such a big property for a large family or group to stay. Also has an annex which was great for my mum and a bungalow so suitable for all ages. Had a lovely large and pretty garden, so peaceful. Based in a beautiful area to explore the stunning coastline and pretty countryside. Short walk into the town itself which was handy too. Very impressed with the two ovens and air fryers. We all had a wonderful time, 8 adults and 2 dogs, it was perfect thank you.

We needed a retreat for a family get together before returning to work and university. Laugharne was a perfect location and Fernhill House was the perfect home. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you.

Great location with so many things to do all around. 15 minutes to the loveliest beaches. The local people were so friendly, found a great Butcher and bakery just up the road. We cooked all our meals at the cottage and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable stay. Thank you!

We have had a brilliant stay at Lloret. The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed and more. The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. They go the extra mile with a personal touch, the best holiday company I have dealt with in recent times.

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

Great house, very clean! The communication from Great Welsh Escape staff was excellent. Very nice time away.

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

Beautifully presented apartment. A lot of thought has gone in to providing everything you need. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach or into the centre of the village.

The boathouse has bags of character, a pool, is in a great location and seamed to be great value… what more can you ask for 👏

We had a lovely stay at buendy, beautiful barn conversion with hot tub. Dog friendly which was a massive bonus, safe and secure garden area for them to roam around. Will definitely be back, lovely quiet location but not too far from Carmarthen town centre.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac and Great Welsh Escapes for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! Everything about this property is brilliant, I miss it already!

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic home and view. The cottage had everything you would need. The location was great very close to the Main Street in Laugharne. The cottage had plenty of room for us. We did not want to leave!

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting. We stayed here as a group of 11 in Sept 23 and there was so much space to all have your own time and space.

The views of the harbour from the bay window are absolutely stunning and there is plenty going on in the sea to keep you entertained. We only wish we'd thought to bring binoculars! The apartment is very comfortable with great beds and both a shower and bath and the location is close to all amenities. There is a large lift. In the summer you can only drop off luggage after 5.30 pm due to traffic restrictions.

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was exactly as described and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was booked for my wife’s 50th birthday and what a venue!

Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Hanna for offering such a beautiful house! The place is secure, quiet and surrounded be greenery all around which is so pleasing to the eyes! Hanna has been very kind and incredibly helpful all along. Me and my family had a wonderful time out here. We certainly look forward to returning back for a longer stay during our next trip.

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

The Barn and Chaffhouse was perfect for our getaway Christmas break- so quiet and peaceful, the open-plan living area was beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. We loved the remote location and walking on the nearby beaches. The house was warm and cosy- a really relaxing break.

Our host Hanna was so helpful! Everything was laid out for us, clear instructions and always willing to help us if we needed anything.

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.

Great location. Spotlessly clean. Short walk to Laugharne centre along a beautiful quiet lane lined with trees and ferns. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful bungalow, decorated and furnished to high standard. Cosy kitchen/, diner lounge area. China crockery. Lots of kitchen equipment, washing machine, ironing board, beautiful fluffy white towels. Walk in im wet/shower area. Hot tub putdoor seating area.

Location, need a car, 4/5 mile drive to most areas, shopping, pubs its very rural

The property had everything you needed. Mona and Graham were lovely and made you feel very welcome. The property was close to beach.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

absolutely outstanding, cleanest place I have ever visited! well equipped for everyone…coffees, milk, welcome pack, also baby items there, hair dryer, robes, washing machine, every kitchen utensil in the world ha…what an amazing location and amazing place! they even decorate for my daughters birthday and provided a gift! speechless! we can’t wait to return in the summer! amazing bungalow and absolutely lush owners! thanks xxx

Having just returned home from a 3 night stay at Footprints apartment in Saundersfoot, we would highly recommend this to anyone. It was 5 star rating, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to the town and harbour. We are looking forward to staying there again in the foreseeable future.

Fantastic rural location, great for families, cozy, amazing panoramic views

We had a really good time! Hazel was very friendly and very helpful with the local recommendations! The place was very clean, smells nice, and comfortable. The area was also very quaint with a lot of nature (+working farm) sound -- a very nice vibe to have while being in the hot tub under the stars. Definitely recommend the place. Oh also, wi-fi was great 🫶
