The Cottage was stunning and in a fantastic location. Mostly everything you needed was there even bath towels. The rooms were lovely and well presented. The place was welcoming and clean and the view over the river/estury was amazing. Such a peaceful location ideal for families right next to the town, walks, pubs, restaurants, shop, castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. Parking is limited around so the 6 car driveway was useful. Communication was excelkent too. We would really recommend.

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! Our kids LOVED this holiday aswell as me and my husband, we can't say thankyou enough honestly! 5 stars from us 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have stayed in these apartments quite a few times. Why? Great location and easy to reach other locations. Very well maintained apartments, Cliff Haven is no exception. I would recommend it.

We had a lovely weekend here, the food next door was beautiful.
My children loved the garden and loved watching the horses.
It was very clean and easy to get to. I would definitely recommend staying.

We have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at Awel Taf and couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfect location to accommodate family for a wedding, excellent facilities and the owners were close at hand if we needed anything at all. Loved the welcome gifts which were an unexpected bonus 😀. we stayed at the property for our honeymoon and could not believe how beautiful and remote it was. the closest villages and towns are a 20 minute drive in any direction, the views are stunning and the space feels cozy and like home.

Amazing place with fabulous views. Host has thought of every scenario for those that stay there. Unable to fault the place. It’s a peaceful stunning area. Host friendly and responsive. Hot tub time was magical and great as the sunsets. The patch of fake grass proved a hit too.
Kitchen was spacious and plenty of cupboard space.
Stayed over Christmas and the small Xmas decoration was a nice touch.
Would certainly recommend if you’re after an escape from the hustle of normal life. Would love to go back again in the future. 5 star place all over

This is really a special cottage in an incredible and unique setting. The building itself is really well maintained and sits on a parcel that gives great vistas from all around. The view of the estuary never disappoints. And, the church ruins that sit near the corner of the property are a special site (sight?) to see. :-). The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive and is keen to make sure every guest has the best experience. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. Highly recommend!!

After being away from Wales for 8 years, we were looking for a special place to return...and "The Lookout at Goscar" absolutely delivered...spectacular views over the harbour and North Beach...comfortable beds, nice kitchen...situated in the middle of town a stone throw away from the beach.
Tenby is such a beautiful place, with lonely mornings at spectacular beaches, boat tours to see Seals and busy pub live and sweets shops for the little ones.
All in all we had perfect holidays with our little daughter...we will be back!

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Had a fantastic few days away at the barn, really lovely property in a great location. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed, it was spotless throughout and had a nice comfy sofa. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to explore this part of Wales!

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

We found the kitchen well equipped and spacious and the lounge cosy in the evenings. Beds were comfy and we used all 3 bedrooms. The location is good with easy access to walking paths. Laugharne was quieter than we had anticipated for early July and not all businesses were open, e.g. the fish and chip shop was open at lunchtime but closed in the evening. As other reviewers have commented, we did not find it possible to park in the street near the house during our stay. We used the washing machine and an outdoor washing line would have been useful.
There is a garden/outside space but we didn’t use it as we didn’t have great weather.
Great Welsh Escapes were easy to contact and helpful. We would happily book via them again if we were to revisit Wales.

Wonderful stay, one of the best we’ve had. The cottage is very cozy, has amazing views and has everything you need. We felt like home (I wish my home was like this place though). The stay was very relaxing. It was very easy to find—just click on “open the address in the maps/gogle maps” and it will take you right to the place (we used gogle maps, so the app just received the exact coordinates and led us to the exact spot.) The road at the end was totally fine—no issues at all. A typical countryside road and it’s fairly smooth. We would love to come back one day. The hosts were very responsive.

Fabulous accommodation, well equipped and loved the welcome basket (honey was delicious).
Quiet and peaceful and really comfortable. Dogs loved it also.

Great accommodation for a family getaway. Clean, friendly and fabulous location as easy to get to the town centre and Tenby, Manorbier etc .
We felt really safe and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Perfectly equipped apartment, tastefully decorated throughout with great views. Kitchen had everything we needed (though no cafetierre/French press). Very relaxing to sit in the lounge and look out to see. Loved walking down into the centre but also made some day trips further into Pembrokeshire. Will miss the sound of the owls hooting at night. Would love to book again.

We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Beautiful bungalow with hot tub. We felt like at home. Everything is there what you really need. There is big bungalow with lots of rooms to explore and outside just straight the hot tub and shed with playroom. Lots things to do around and visit places and restaurants. We got welcome basket with sweets and wine plus welcome and thank you card which was very nice cute and nice to see. For us was everything perfect really and in the future we plan back here. But only one thing was too much for us that in every room and even living room and kitchen there been air refreshments in plugs working all day and night which can be sometimes over powerful specially if you want cook food and the perfumes fragrance from is mixing with your cooking smell. Otherwise everything was nice and cosy. Thank you.

Came to stay in Laugharne for our first trip to Wales and wasn’t disappointed! Great location with access to some good food places locally. Host was very friendly and the property was as exactly described. Property was nice and clean when we arrived also! Would stay again :)

Loved this place! Spotlessly clean and very homely - lots of lovely soft furnishings. Kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms comfy and the hot tub was fantastic. Kids loved playing outside on their scooters. The view is beautiful and it’s nice and quiet. Def recommend.

We really loved our long weekend at Footprints. The flat is gorgeous, very comfy and incredibly well equipped. We made the best of the weather with a few walks on the coastal path, some time on the beach and we even braved a sea swim. And then when it got really stormy we felt lovely and cosy in the cottage and enjoyed watching the dramatic weather from window - what a view! We loved the flat and the location, and there's lots of fantastic local eateries as well. We shall be back! :)

As a family of 6 with two you ger chikdren and two teenagers this has been the perfect holiday home for us. It's been spacious and comfortable for all. Its beautifully decorated and maintained and resourced to a very high standard. Communication throughout our stay has been amazing. We have loved morning coffee on the patio overlooking the views of the estuary and nights with the hot tub. Thank you so much for a lovely place home from home. Very thankful we chose here over other places.

Comfortable, cosy cottage in beautiful Laugharne. Cottage well equipped, warm and a lovely place to relax after busy days out. Great location in the centre of the town. Short walk to the Castle and shop/pubs/cafes. We ate twice in the Portreeves Restaurant which did great food and wine. Browns Hotel also good. Enjoyed the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and writing Shed and his Birthday Walk. Highly recommend a stay at Chapel View.

Fantastic location, really quiet and peaceful but also not too far away from supermarkets, beaches, coastal walks and tourist attractions.
We loved walking through the woods down to the creek every day to see what was new (lots of autumn colours and fungi in our case). We don't normally visit the same place twice but in this case we are already planning the next trip!

A lovely home in a nice village close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and costal walks. We really enjoyed the home and will be back again. A visit to the castle with the kids is also great fun. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely family weekend at The Cors. The house was wonderful and everyone was very happy with their rooms and the communal spaces. This made for a very enjoyable time. The grounds were beautiful and wandering around was very peaceful. We used Laugharne as a base for exploring old haunts in West Wales but also spent some time revisiting the local area. Had a great Sunday lunch at Dexters, just a brief walk away. All in all a superb weekend.

What a wonderful location! The garden is stunning it gives a wow factor before you have even stepped in! Well maintained. Inside was immaculate and held everything you could need for a stay. Kids toys, welcome hamper everything was just amazing and clean. I've stayed in alot of places now and this is think ranks #1. If you truly want peace and quiet apart from the odd tractor or cow. Could litteraly hear a pin drop outside in the evening! We all really loved this place! Playing mini golf on the grass until sunset! Honestly have made some unbelievable memories and cant thank you enough

Laugharne is a fascinating little town with historical sites and beautiful walks, easily accessible for other attractions. The. castle is well worth a visit as well as the boathouse.

Lovely cottage in the picturesque village of Laugharne with some great pubs/restaurants on the doorstep and lovely beaches nearby. A clean, well maintained cottage with courtyard garden.

Lovely rustic house, amazing fireplace. great large garden plenty of room for large family, the house is in a good location ,(car a must ), to be able to go to Lovely beaches, within 15 minute's drive . Pendine beach 25 minute's drive fantastic beach Nice pubs ,restaurants all within 15 minute's drive .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maesteg Cottage, it was very well equipped and we found everything that we needed plus a lovely welcome pack including Welsh cakes, wine and coffee. The cottage has a few quirky features including an unusual upstairs toilet!! It is a very comfortable and homely property, particularly the beds, we all slept very well. There is also a beautiful enclosed garden on different layers with a secluded spot at the top where you can sit and enjoy the view in the evening sun. The location is good for visiting a variety of places and we enjoyed Laugharne, Tenby, Cardigan, Gwbert and Tresaith Beach and waterfall, all within around 35 minutes travel by car from the cottage. We would stay again.

Everything about it. Fantastic place in a beautiful location. The Cors has everything you need. We were 6 adults and 3 children. Loads of room. Pool table, bar, cinema room. Can't fault this place. Truly stunning. Jac was great with communication and I'm sure would do anything for you. Loved every minute of the stay.

Really well equipped home (aside from no dishcloths or washing up sponges) with everything you could need - we managed to cook a full roast dinner.
Plenty of space with 2 bathrooms serving the 4 bedrooms.
The living areas were ideal for 2 families with 4 teenage children between them. Kitchen with sitting area and log burner was cosy and a great space.
Utility room was great for the dog and table tennis in the garage kept the teens entertained (Even if it was a bit nippy)
Overall the house was clean. Good sized bath towels (sheets rather than standard towel size) but bath mats would have been a welcome addition. Bedding was comfy.
Fabulous welcome pack and Christmas tree made a warm welcome and we had a great break over the new year.

beautiful house with beautifully decorated rooms. extremely clean on arrival with a welcome package for us. dog friendly with large garden. cinema room and pool room were absolutely fabulous for us all to use during our stay. house in perfect location - only 5 minute walk to local shops, pubs and castle with walks on your doorstep and then able to travel to Tenby in only 30 mins and Brecon Beacons in an hour.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

We had a lovely stay at this property in the quiet village of Llansteffan. Our hosts were helpful and communicative. House was spotless and tidy, plenty of cooking equipment etc and a very short distance from the estuary and castle walks.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

The house was lovely, even nicer than the photos. Finish of the house was great, kitchen well equipped and the outside areas were excellent. The driveway was long but no problem, even the Sainsbury delivery driver coped without issue. There isn’t much that can be accessed by foot but this was made clear on the map. We stayed with four children and the house easily accommodated us, all the games and welcome cake were nice touches.

The house is in a stunning location on a hill looking out. Inside it is warm, comfortable, well decorated with good quality furnishings and amenities. Highly recommend it as a place to hang out with friends and family.

Excellent place to stay, beautiful and cosy. House was spacious and nicely decorated.

Such a lovely place to stay, this is the second time I have stayed here. It's so quiet and cosy, everything you could need is provided. Fully equipped kitchen is amazing, made some decent dishes accompanied by a game of trivial pursuit (which was definitely a challenge). Sitting by the fire in the cold evenings, movie on - what more could you ask for!
There was a bit of snow during our stay and Katie at GWE made a point of letting us know the conditions before we arrived, and then checked with us the next day. Thanks Katie ;)
Absolutely plan on returning again.

Lovely long weekend in this quiet, countryside spot! The place looks incredible in the pictures but actually looks even better in real life! We liked how equally social and private the house can be - there are nooks all over - where you might chill in a group or maybe take some private time. Really lovely surroundings and towns nearby that can be explored.

Our stay was excellent in every respect. Most impressive was the professionalism of the management company, Great Welsh Escapes. When we encountered the unfamiliar Euro Cylinder Dead Bolt lock with horizontal key insertion, they responded promptly and patiently, even in the evening, which gave us great peace of mind.
The apartment itself is spacious and well appointed. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the location could not be better—convenient to restaurants, shops, beaches, and beautiful walking paths.
Although there was some construction nearby, it was limited to reasonable hours and did not detract from the overall tranquility. In every way, this was a delightful stay, and we would be very pleased to return.

Lovely host, cottage was amazing and very clean. Beautiful surroundings. Great Welsh escapes couldn’t be more helpful, great communication etc. My daughter left an item behind which they collected and posted back to us! Will 100% recommend and use great Welsh escapes in future. Thank you all again!

Had a fantastic 3 nights at the bungalow. Nice and spacious, fantastic views and very peaceful.

Lovely time renting this property. Huge place with a lovely town on the doorstep.

We had a lovely stay - in particular we enjoyed the excellent living space/kitchen and outside area. Our baby especially loved playing on the big living room rug.

The surrounding area is amazing and the property is very well located for access to beaches, Tenby, Pembroke, Bosherston, Stackpole etc. The only thing was the proximity to the MOD area, which we were prepared for, but I think they were perhaps doing extra tank and machine gun practice during our stay. It can be a little disconcerting having your evening meal peppered with the sound of tank and machine gun fire. I understand this wouldn’t be a problem during the summer school holidays or weekend though.

We loved going to the different beaches etc. and we also had some lovely meals out - including at the fabulous Paternoster Farm which is only round the corner (must book in advance).

Amazing welcome we Loved our stay , really comfortable, lovely place to stay , fab views, immaculately clean , beautiful accommodation and amazing hot tub , We bumped into the hosts in the village and they were really friendly . We’ve already booked to stay again. 5* looking forward to returning next year for hubby’s birthday thank you so very much xx

I work in the private yacht industry so I am used to high standards, the old school house exceeded my expectations it was immaculately clean every detail was first class,the welcome hamper was such a lovely touch.
The area is so perfect for a family holiday the beaches,castles and countryside so much choice.

Great little get away cottage! walking distance of a pubs and eating out which were fantastic.
Lots of lovely walks to do. Overallt fantastic place to stay!

This was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed at, clean throughout too the highest of standards, perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub an added bonus, Hazel the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, this bungalow deserves 10 stars, two very happy guests ☺

The house was clean and well presented with a lovely garden. The location was fab being just a 15 min walk from the beach, restaurants and shops of saundersfoot. We had a lovely stay and would definitely want to return.

This was a brilliant property, with all the comforts you would want and a very well equipped kitchen. It has very generous sized social areas and kitchen for 8 people and it was great how close to the estuary and castle it was too. Would definitely visit again!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Schon der Empfang mit einem Korb mit walisischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken im Kühlschrank war außergewöhnlich und sehr erfreulich. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr nett. Das Haus ist extrem sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet, es fehlt einfach nichts.

Das ganze Haus ist behindertengerecht gebaut, so auch die Badezimmer.

Alles ist wie auf den Bilder und sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, mitten in der Natur mit toller Aussicht und ideal für viele Tagestouren.

Wir waren sechs Nächte dort und haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen.



Ein sehr schönes Haus für Entspannung und Ausflüge.
