A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

Fantastic weekend away the accommodation was amazing with plenty of room. The location was ideal great restaurants in the area highly recommend milk wood house and there were also some lovely walks.

Stayed at this place a number of times while working in the area. I've worked away from home for nearly 10 years and this is by far one of the best I've stayed. From the warm welcome from Richard. To the attention to detail the place has. It isn't like a holiday let. More like a home for the week.

It was a lovely bungalow. Everything which was needed to feel at home was present. All of the things for use were very high quality 👌. There was also a gift pack for us. Bottle of Milk Juice and wine was also given.
Amazing location. Hot tub was so perfect. Good size and also very private.
Hazel and the family were very helpful and generous throughout our stay. Willing to go out of the way for their guests.
We had a great time and my daughter also left a review in their diary. She is 9 and wouldn't want to leave the bungalow.

Our hosts Buddig and Lloyd were welcoming, friendly, offering the very best of Welsh rural hospitality. Diolch yn fawr! A generous welcome pack with home made barabrith and their own honey, milk, tea, coffee etc was really appreciated. The location is quiet and beautiful with stunning views.The accommodation is comfortable, spacious and decorated in a 60s/70s theme. We loved the record player!

Apartment clean enough and well equipped. Lovely balcony and views. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The guest book is great and has all the details you need. Hosts were friendly and responsive when recommending places for food.
Not much to do around the location but easy enough to get into Saundersfoot and Tenby.
Luckily no one was staying in the apartment above us but I didn’t see a mention of this when booking. Car park space right outside which is good and then an overflow car park for any extra cars.

Great space in a good location - especially if walking the coast path. Some care is required negotiating the upstairs bedroom spaces as head height is very limited.

It was an amazing place this place has quite and peaceful to chill out with family friends they provided everything we need and moreover host was so friendly she was always available to help out anyway highly recommended

Lovely home bedrooms all good sizes. Very comfortable beds. Great house to stay in nice and clean and handy to park on the drive. Garden was fab for the dog. Great stay

No handrail on the stairs. Not a problem for the younger members of our group but 1 was an 88 year old who just needed help with the stairs. Would be great if one could be put up but wouldn’t stop us from staying again

When you drive up, you certainly get the wow factor. This carries through to the home too. The helpful guide provided was great. Certainly recommend to friends and family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cors

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!
We loved:
- The hot tub!
- The fluffy white towels
- The cleanliness
- The location
- The unexpected welcome hamper!
- The views
- The board games for the kids
There is loads to do in the area, we were here for a week and went to:
- Folly Farm
- Local beaches which are all fabulous, especially Llansteffan with the fish & chips
- The National Bird of Prey Centre
- Pembrey Country Park
- Gwili Steam Railway
- Tenby
I highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place, really well located, and the hosts Hazel and High are so nice and have such a great attention to detail.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

A home from home in a beautiful location.
We chose The Cors as a group of friends with small children to spend our New Years celebrations.
Everything about it was perfect from start to finish!
Ideal location for lovely dog walks (which were even lovely in the rain) a beautiful garden to admire and an immaculate house full to the brim with everything and more than you need!
The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a must to visit!
Jac as a host went above and beyond from start to finish for us, from answering questions before our arrival to going out of his way to replace items whilst we were there!
Cannot recommend this house enough, it’s an ideal family home to enjoy quality time together in an ideal location.

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

We had a fabulous stay at York Lodge in Laugharne. York Lodge was clean, modern, wonderfully equipped and a great size for our party of 6. Laugharne is a lovely village with an amazing family run deli called The Ferryman and some other good food options. The team at Great Welsh Escapes were so responsive, helpful and professional, I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them.

Incredibly spacious. Very modern. Immaculate. Great value! The hosts made us feel very welcome. The location is so peaceful and very quiet. We would highly recommend staying. In a beautiful location too!!!

Nothing it was perfect

Cleanliness and all facilities were available.

The neighbours parking outside the gates, it’s a very narrow gateway into the property. Most nights were impossible to get in.

Family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids and all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everybody and having a 2nd lounge is great for when the children want to make some noise.
House is well maintained and gardens great for kids to play.
House is well appointed and hosts (GWE) made contact after check in - we had to solve a beeping dishwasher with some salt but that was it in terms of issues.
New pans were dropped off during our stay following previous guest feedback.
Really great stay and would happily return there or to another property managed by the host.

Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Hanna for offering such a beautiful house! The place is secure, quiet and surrounded be greenery all around which is so pleasing to the eyes! Hanna has been very kind and incredibly helpful all along. Me and my family had a wonderful time out here. We certainly look forward to returning back for a longer stay during our next trip.

Our trip couldn't have been more perfect – the town is lovely and the location of the cottage perfect for estuary walks and trips to the castle, restaurants and pubs. So many things to do nearby too, we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

It had everything we needed, great location, brilliant accommodation and the owners / management company looked after our group and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse, which was set in a quiet and beautiful location and within easy reach of most major attractions that we wanted to see (less than 30-45 mins away for pretty much everything). We had the pool to ourselves every time we used it, and it was great to be able to access it basically any time we wanted to. We had one minor issue with the water pressure one day but the hosts were great and fixed it in short order, so no complaints from us. We would definitely stay again next time we go to South Wales - rare find indeed.

Loved our stay at Coedllys Cottage. The hydra pool and sauna were especially great -perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and set in a peaceful spot with great access to the coast. A wonderful break and highly recommended.

A lovely, peaceful, comfortable and cosy base for touring the best of SW Wales. Spotlessly clean, light and airy, well-equipped, sunny eating out space, beautiful views. The hosts were always friendly and helpful. A really joyful few days.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.
All the photos of the place, inside and outside, on the website, truly show how lovely this place is.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Brofallen- the beautiful decor and gorgeous plants really made it feel like home from home only better! The view from the garden and conservatory is stunning- it was such a treat to start our day looking out to the distant sea, drinking the local, small batch roasted coffee left as part of the welcome pack. We had a couple of questions which were promptly and kindly responded to. We found the house very thoughtfully equipped and we cooked, played some of the games and used some DVDs and books as well. For most dogs the garden is very nicely enclosed and a great place to explore. For our rescued Serbian street dog, he did find a way out towards the neighbour's garden even though we were supervising him. We would definitely like to return- the house feels like a relaxing retreat.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Had a great stay here! The house had everything I needed and was super clean. Loved how peaceful and relaxing it was, especially with the hot tub. It’s in a great spot too—not far from the beaches. Would definitely stay again!

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

This little gem of a house far exceeded our expectations. Brilliantly positioned for walks and drives to local beauty spots.
The facilities were top class with everything that you could want for a break.
The real extra benefits for us as a family - heating that could be localised in each room, two bathrooms, perfect size kitchen, cosy living room with a working log burner.
The parking is a bit tricky but you can find local parking within 3 min walk if nothing available outside. (all free).

Absolutely beautiful property with everything you could possibly need away from home.Although it was next to a working farm it was very peaceful and no noise at all.
Situated on MOD land but we had no issues with access.
Hosts were very responsive when we contacted them regarding early access and EV charging .
We would definitely recommend if it’s peace and quiet you are after.

The boathouse is a lovely little escape with complete peace, along with being close to local towns and beaches. The place is as described and as you see in the photos. The private pool and sauna is such a nice addition too, which our son loved. Our dogs were so excited by the lake and cows, and wanted to always been outside in the enclosed area.
Great Welsh Escapes sent through clear instructions before hand, and proactively messaged me on day 1 to ensure I had everything I needed. This was a nice touch!
Richard, the owner and farmer, was super welcoming and made an effort to come out when we arrived to show us around personally. When we had a small issue I text Richard and he walked down almost immediately to help. He also spent a little while answering all my silly questions about dairy farming and his cows!!
We certainly plan to go back in the future and stay again :)

We stayed here for a family holiday, there was plenty of space for us all and the property is kept very well. Laugharne is a great base for a holiday in the South-west of Wales with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again in the future.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

Beautiful cottage, walkable to several pubs with food and a convenience store. Very quiet area, nice walks. Quite steep stairs with no handrail worth being aware of if any mobility issues.

Chapel view is a lovely cottage, super clean and comfortable. Easy parking outside the cottage and within walking distant to shops and places to eat. If you want to stay in and cook the cottage has everything you need.

We really couldn't fault a single thing.

This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.

We enjoyed staying at the bungalow in Pendine and using it as a base to visit the surrounding attractions and beautiful countryside of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Mona and Graham were excellent hosts. The property was perfect for our needs very clean and homely, modern inside set in beautifully kept grounds and garden, quiet and relaxing.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

Brofallen is a gorgeous place to hang out with friends and family. The view from the sun room is worth spending a few hours looking at. The house is well stocked, well decorated and very comfortable to be in.

Excellent location for us, we needed to be able to walk into Carmarthen but wanted a countryside place to stay. The walk into Carmarthen took 30 mins. It was easy to get supplies from marks and Spencer’s and take them back. Sometimes we also used excellent and readily available cab services. The location felt isolated but we knew owners were nearby so felt very safe if anything went wrong. Very stylish high spec decoration, esp. for a dog friendly space. Enjoyed hot tub. Loved goats and chickens.

This place was perfect for me and my friend.
It was perfectly clean.. simple and equipped well enough to cook and prepare food.
The beds were comfortable and 2 bathrooms . Table and chairs outside for eating when the sunshines.
The restaurant in the attached hotel is a must try.. great food and lovely friendly service.
Short drive to the beach.. but as far as i know.. no pubs/shops to walk to ..but beautiful places for walking..

We fell in love with the Farmhouse and the views. On rainy days we stayed in the cozy home and relaxed. On sunny days we hiked and explored castle ruins. An amazing Welsh property

This place is lovely spacious clean and well equipped .Hazel (the host ) popped past to make sure we had everything we needed and left us a lovely hamper. I will definitely return.if I had one very small negative comment it would be the booking in on line with great Welsh escapes .quite simple when Jess their employee guided me through the process and sending me a link to follow just a bit annoying as I booked it through Airbnb who already have all the details I repeated on the online booking form . Never the less this fabulous place was worth the extra form to fill in thank you very much hazel

All in top 1% of places stayed. Ensuite feature ALL bedrooms was a huge feature. Very spacious. Top notch dinner and cookware along with appliances. Washer and dryer was put to good use never having to fret about drying. For small village top notch restaurants right across street.

We love Tenby and have visited many, many times - this property was absolutely lovely!

Absolutely beautiful property in a breathe taking location. A real 'off the grid' feel without feeling like you are completely isolated. Incredible walks on the door step and a lovely cosy but very private property. The wood burners were a real highlight. Great proactive and very responsive communication from the host. We felt right at home and enjoyed the thoughtful touches and masses of local information provided. We will definitely be returning (asap I hope)!

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

Very very nice house with a nice garden and great view which we weren’t expecting. Whole process was seamless and communication was great.

Highly recommend this property and booking company. The property is a great size for multigenerational holiday, 2 separate living rooms as well as a kitchen-breakfast room and separate dining room and 4 good size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has mobility adaptations including walk in shower room and stairlift should you need it. It’s in a great location for exploring Carmarthen town centre and amenities and numerous beaches in the county and across the boarder into Pembrokeshire. The property itself was in great condition clearly renovated and modernised sympathetically with everything you could need including a hot tub. The owner was on hand and friendly but not intrusive and keen to resolve any issues. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

Lovely host, cottage was amazing and very clean. Beautiful surroundings. Great Welsh escapes couldn’t be more helpful, great communication etc. My daughter left an item behind which they collected and posted back to us! The Cottage was really lovely, very spacious fabulous location overlooking the estuary. The gardens are secure for children and pets. Plenty of outside space. Laugharne is a lovely friendly peaceful place with lovely walks, nice pubs and cafes. Fully recommend

We had a really good stay at The Barn and Chaffhouse. The accommodation is well decorated and comfortable. Nice welcome park on arrival including tea and coffee. Dishwasher tablets were appreciated.

Constructive feedback that can be offered
1) provide more cleaning products. It’s turn easier to keep the place clean. E.g lichen spray, kitchen roll.
2) please provide some more bowls for breakfast and replace chipped crockery.

The house was beautifully furnished and well appointed. We had everything that we required and the town has a lovely range of restaurants and pubs for us to enjoy. High on the list of places to revisit.

The cottage is beautifully situated with fantastic views of the area. Paula was a great host - very friendly and giving helpful tips and advice for exploring the local area, and her two dogs Lulu and Bob were also very gentle and friendly, and great play mates for our two children. The cottage itself was great. Very clean and well arranged, so that we (a family of four) quickly felt at home. The location is well placed to explore the local area and has some great treasures close by. Would highly recommend and we will definitely come back if we visit the area again.

Lovely location for an extremely soothing break. Well equipped cottage and Robert was kind enough to get kids little games to keep busy when you are retiring after having a day out whether to botanical garden trip or folley farm.
Near by nisa local, fish and chips were handy to pop for a quick snack.
House was very clean and plenty of room for a family of six. We shall visit again and recommend this place.

We loved our stay with our young family. Great location to visit local attractions. Our boys loved meeting our neighbours (goats and chickens) and our hosts were very helpful and attentive.

Lovely stay at the Old Oak Barn. Charlotte is a great host, very welcoming and would highly recommend staying here for a chilled break!

Jess was very responsive and helpful. Our son got very high fever on the last day and Emily was very kind to extend our check out by a whole hour. The house in itself is gorgeous and extremely clean just as the pictures. However, in regards to the location of the house, it’s not close to either the beach or the castle unlike the impression we got from the pictures posted. It’s in the middle of a farm residential area. Our son quite enjoyed waking up to the mooing of cows but the stench of the cow manure does waft through the house if you open the doors and the windows. All in all, we did enjoy our stay at the house immensely.

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

The old school house is a beautiful unusual & spacious holiday home. It had everything we needed & is in a quiet location that allowed us to explore the local towns, castles & beaches easily. Travelling with a small child we loved finding the many games tucked away in various cupboards & especially enjoyed the welcome bottle of wine & cake!!

Lovely property, suited our stay of four adults perfectly.
One of our guests is around 6 3" and found himself hitting the light fittings as they are all quite low hanging!!
It was very cosy for an autumn break.

Lovely apartment, clean, quiet location with a parking space. A short walk down into Saundersfoot 5-10 minutes down a steep hill which was fine for us.

The house was immaculate - so clean and well equipped. Hanna had thought of everything. It was also warm and cosy and we were lucky with the weather, enabling us to sit outside on a few afternoons. The peaceful setting and wonderful views added to our great stay. Would highly recommend.

Booked for a birthday get away for a group of friends. The property was perfect and Great Welsh Escapes were friendly and helpful in all contact.

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

The house and gardens are huge and really well equipped. Plenty for everyone of all ages to do and see.
Lots of places to sit in the garden and inside.

Only downsides:
Blinds on the windows do not stop the sunlight streaming in
Garden is not totally enclosed so adventurous dogs cannot be left unattended

The property was fantastic. Everything that was stated on the site was accurate. The house is in a lovely location (up a hill), a short walk in to town, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The hosts had left us a welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch. We had taken two cars and parking was not a problem. The house was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the five adults in our party. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if we went back to Tenby.

Stayed at Beudy Howel for a week for work with another colleague. Absolutely loved it, the cottage is immaculate in every way with everything you need for a long or short break.
Great location and great communication with the owner.

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse! It was private with lovely surroundings and we got to use the pool all to ourselves! Great location and lots to do for the dog! Thankyou!

Gwalia House is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Laugharne is a fascinating village with a stunning castle, the Dylan Thomas museum, and the coastal path all on your doorstep. There are shops, pubs and places to eat within walking distance and great beaches a short drive away. Great Welsh Estates were so helpful and posted us some things we'd left behind. Highly recommended.

Although it's in MOD land, that didn't get in the way as we spent most of our daytime before 4pm, at a nearby beach at Pendine. Also we wanted somewhere out of the way, that would be quiet, without other holiday makers around. The owners have gone to a lot of effort with nice touches and quality of kitchen facilities was important to us as we prefer having evening meals made by ourselves. The walk in shower and bathtub is big. We enjoyed the fire pit outside at night and everything here was high quality.

A beautiful place to stay. Lovely accommodation (warm, lots of room, lovely bedroom, very clean and well kitted out). Would recommend, and would happily stay here again.
