The apartment was amazing. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything you needed was provided down to an array of herbs and spices to produce any meal if you wanted. The bed was very comfortable bathroom large and spotlessly clean throughout.

A great little place to stay, a couple of small inaccuracies in the ad but we had a great time, especially the children.

Holly and the team made us feel very welcomed. The coach house was a great base in the area with a lovely outlook from the garden for our family and two dogs. Easy access to the main road as well to get to the local beaches.

Graham and Mona the hosts were really welcoming and super helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after without being intrusive. This was much appreciated. Thank you.

It was very nice stay for us (two couples), felt like living in a farm house — just what we wanted! Highly recommend this place for quiet unity with nature.

We had a lovely family break at the Sea Gem. A 10 minute downhill walk to Tenby seafront. Lovely spacious house as described on the listing. Great communication from the hosts, even after we have left when we realised we’d left an item there, the host was extremely helpful in retrieving our forgotten item. Can’t thank them enough!

We had a wonderful stay. This cozy flat is warm, clean and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and just love the big fridge/freezer, excellent for our long stay. The wifi works well. We had a minor issue in the bathroom and it quickly fixed. The town Laugharne is lovely and welcoming and I only wish we can stay for longer.

We spent a few days in Wales.
The accommodation is beautifully located, quiet, and checking in and out at the security gate is no problem!
The beach is 2 meters away, but it's easy to reach by car! We didn't mind that it's only accessible after 4:00 PM on weekdays. Then you practically have it to yourself!
We were the only guests, but four people are no problem.
The accommodation is just as pictured.
If we visit Wales again, we'll definitely stay in this accommodation.

Stayed in Great Welsh Escapes for two days and had a lovely time. The owner would message regularly asking if everything’s okay and the farm owner Richard on site was very helpful.

Beautiful house and gardens, with fabulous views. The house has everything you need and there is everything you could need in the kitchen to cook with and clean up. We even did a roast dinner! The hot tub was lovely and clean. House was spotless. Good quality beds, bedding, towels etc. The host was very responsive to questions and even accommodated an early check-in to allow for a Tesco delivery. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

The cottage was so much more spacious than we expected. With panoramic views across the valleyvtobthecrear, and the sweeping estuary to the front. super place.

Fast and simple check-in. Location as perfect for our coastal travel/drive as well as convenient to supermarkets/gas stations. Spacious home with fully-equipped kitchen. Very peaceful environment, which made for a great place to come home to after an explorative day.

The Cors Country House exceeded all my expectations, we had an amazing time, the house and grounds were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.

The hosts were excellent, could not be more helpful and gave access to the farm where the cottage is located. Just follow normal countryside rules. Do not disturb the animals, if you open a gate then close it behind you...etc.
Great Welsh Escapes were also very helpful and friendly.
The property had everything as described. A great collection of books describing the area, the history and sights to visit.

The apartment was very well equipped. Every small detail/need had been thought of. It was very comfortable & homely. Parking & security entrance was good. Sarah the host was excellent in checking everything was ok when we arrived. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was so well equipped & the lighting was perfect & like home from home. Cannot recommend highs enough

There was nothing to dislike

This property is ideally located next to the grocery shop, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. Especially marvelous was the the view of the massive castle and relics across from the property and dusk light reflecting off the castle walls that we could see from upstairs windows. The locals were very friendly and happy to fill us in on curiously spelt Welsh place names and local information. The property was exceptionally well presented and clean with car parking right out the front

Absolutely stunning and immaculate house in beautiful Laugharne. Ideally located for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Very well equipped property, easy check in and hosts easy to contact.

Gorgeous property in a fantastic location. We stayed for a university friends reunion and had a wonderful time. Property itself was stunning, we felt right at home. Location was brilliant, within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs and lovely walks. The driveway up to the house is steep, so beware in icy conditions but other than that, it was perfect. Diolch yn fawr.

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. The cottage was exactly as described and well equipped. The parking is challenging though! We highly recommend Dexters at Brown's for Sunday lunch, but you must book as it is very popular. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and it is a short stroll to Dylan Thomas's Boathouse and the Castle.

What an incredible, well maintained home with amazing views and only a short drive to beautiful landscapes and castles! We absolutely loved our stay. Great place to get away and amazing spot for kids (no stairs for little ones to get hurt on), with ample toys and a magical sunroom that overlooks insane views. The house is a bit further down the road than GPS said, so keep that in mind when arriving. Would love to come back one day!

Outstanding accommodation, the location in particular provided breathtaking views.
The house itself is very well equipped and there is nothing that you need to buy to make your stay comfortable. A welcome pack of chocolates, biscuits, wine, milk and butter were very much appreciated.
The layout of the property is perfect for a family or couples looking for a relaxing break.
The grounds are perfect for explorative energetic children, our son particularly loved his morning visit to the cows.
I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s an absolute steal and we will definitely be back!

We had a great week in Lloret. Beautifully clean bungalow with all you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Jac kept in touch by text to make sure we were ok. We would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you.

I love Wales and this is a great place to stay for Pembrokeshire.
The coast is a 4 minute drive and parking to gorgeous freshwater west.
Pembroke is 10 mins away and a lovely town. Go to the games cafe on the high street for fun and get the scoop on best places to eat.
We felt at home in the barn. The weather was awful with high winds across the SW and it rained every day but we felt so toasty once we were inside after a day out. The home heating is very clever and we popped on the lovely fire when needed.
Despite the weather we managed to have a wonderful time. I’ve never laughed so much trying to stand up with high winds.
Plenty of wonderful dog friendly places.

The cleanest and most well equipped place we've ever stayed at. A beautiful and spaceous bungalow i'd have no hesitation in recommending. Friendly host checked in on us and showed us how to use the hot tub but was never intruding. Also gave us a beautiful hamper and bottle of wine. If we're ever staying in the area again I will book again.

A great place to use as a base to explore the area and has a good very long beach , the walk down to the beach is very steep so could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues , best to check tides too as it was not possible to walk on the beach if the tide was in but there are places to eat or drink and just gaze at the sea .
Nearby Laugherne and Narberth are lovely friendly bustling places to visit .

Can not say enough about how amazing this stay was! From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and right at home. Hazel was very welcoming and made sure we were ok and had everything we needed. She also gave some great recommendations on where to go to eat and and explore!
We stayed near valentines and on arrival was a beautiful welcome basket and valentines balloons, along with a valentines teddy! Such a lovely surprise!
The cottage was immaculate and all the little homely touches really made it even more special.
I could go on all day. We have already booked to stay for longer in the summer and along with the children! We can’t wait!

Lots of space, very comfortable furnishings, well equipped. Good location for the village and beach. Very nice to have our own garden for the dog which is hard to find in the area. Best place we’ve stayed in Llansteffan.

This property is at the top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the countryside. There is an outdoor garden area with a lawn that was perfect for our grandson to run and explore. The unit is spacious with all you need to cook, wash clothes, and relax. This was our favorite place to stay during our holiday.

This did not bother us, but there are no shops or restaurants in the village. You need to make a short drive to nearby villages for supplies.

Lovely peaceful place, just what we wanted to rest and recuperate. Beautiful walks we enjoyed with our dog. Easy to get to the Welsh coast for nice days out. Sitting near the fireplace with a warm fire was a treat. Cute cottage with character, with lovely private outdoor space.

We had a fantastic few days in Pendine. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with lots of nice touches. Views were unbelievable, only a 10-15 min walk to the huge but quiet beach. It had lots of nice restaurants like Lotus and a fantastic park for our son. Was his first visit to the beach and one we will remember for a long time. We hope to come back.

Location wise, you would be hard pushed to find a property to top this one. Fabulous views & easy walking distance to all that you need - beach, cafe, shops, restaurants etc. Parking is in public car park but we didn't use the car the whole time we were there so not an issue.

What a lovely place to stay, great for walking and relaxing admiring the fantastic views. Would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was lovely and it is clear that it is a very well looked after home. It’s easy to find and we had such a lovely time and were very comfortable. We appreciated everything and the host is a very nice lady who was a joy to speak to.

We stayed at Coedllys Uchaf. It was such a wonderful experience. Steward was a friendly guy as he recommended us an amazing visiting location place which we never even planned and thought of.
When we went to visit it, we truly saw a lovely and beautiful cultural of Wales.

Also, we enjoyed spending time looking at Peacock Charlie and the place where we stayed was nice, cosy and warm to stay. Enjoyed the sauna and hot tub bath, which was relaxing after hiking in Pen Y Fan mountain and after visiting beaches such as Newgale, Ramsay Island and Tenby.

Highly recommended it as we plan to book this place again when visiting in future. Looking forward to introduce Wales to our family, friends and relatives. Had a good time visiting Wales in June 2022.

AMAZING! The bungalow had everything we needed and more! Views were beautiful from every window, we could have sat for hours just looking! The bungalow was spotlessly clean. beds really comfortable, nice, much appreciated welcoming gifts and the hot tub was great to relaxing in the evening. we found all the neighbours really friendly and all had time to chat and tell us places to visit. would 100% recommend and would love to visit again. Very enjoyable few days in Laugharne. The cottage was peaceful, well equipped and very well located for eateries, pubs and access to tourist spots in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Discovering the bottle of Prosecco and Bara Brith on arrival was a nice surprise.

Absolutely beautiful holiday stay we went away for our anniversary and we loved it , 💕 amazing welcome, really comfortable modern and spotless. We loved the hot tub too , We’ve already booked again . Wonderful hosts and amazing views of the estuary and town, met loads of people laughnies ( from Laugharne ) everyone was really friendly.
We had a fab time , it’s really near to the square where there are pubs , restaurants and lovely walks. Great place to relax and chill 🧘‍♀️ plenty to do and see and we did it in style. 🙏🩷🐶

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

Our family of four with a 3 year old and infant really enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing with a beautiful setting, perfectly walkable to activities, shops, restaurants and the beach. The amenities were just as described and access was easy. We cannot wait to return!

Spent two days at the Lloret, it is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Laugharne. Really well presented accommodation in an amazing location. The view of the castle and the Taf Estuary are amazing. It is also a short walk from the Grist and the castle, so it is easy to walk into town for some food or a drink. We had space to park four cars without any problem, and finding it is very easy. The owners were very friendly and came over to help with the hot tub after the first day. Overall would highly recommend that anybody looking to visit Laugharne or the surrounding area visit the Lloret.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.

Had a great stay here! The house had everything I needed and was super clean. Loved how peaceful and relaxing it was, especially with the hot tub. It’s in a great spot too—not far from the beaches. Would definitely stay again!

The property had everything, and more, we could have wanted/needed. The property was lovely and clean as well. The hosts did check checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which was nice.

Our stay was very nice to have some relaxing down time with family the weather was very kind to us although the forecast was poor the bungalow was very clean plenty of kitchen utensils for those who wish to cook fantastic views of the castle and estuary there are some very nice places to eat in the village. The only thing we couldn’t find was a mop as one day it had rained so you can mop the floor and it mentioned that there was a dryer in the utility?? One other thing as it took us over four hours to get from the Midlands we didn’t have a problem getting in at 4pm but we all thought to make sure we were packed and left the house as we found it 10am check out is a little early we didn’t even have time for breakfast before our long journey 12pm would have been more convenient and less stressful

What a stunning location , the view of the beach and harbour was wonderful . The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed , perfectly located for the shops and restaurant and beaches . Lovely walks , we didn’t use the car all week .very comfy beds ! !

My only criticism is that there is no handrail on the upper part of the stairs. My husband and I are in our 70’s and we need a rail to hold on to.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

Our second time at a Great Welsh Escape’s property. Had a lovely time in a beautiful recently refurbished barn.

Our dog also loved the enclosed garden that wrapped around the property.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

What a wonderful, peaceful experience we have had staying here at Old Oak Barn, the cottage is beautiful, picturesque walking grounds surround the barn. Look out for the little surprises! We were made to feel so welcome, outstanding hospitality. What a Gem, you will not be disappointed and we look forward to another visit

Lovely setting, even though it mostly rained it was AMAZING!
The Cottage is incredible and I would love to go back in the Summer and make even more use of the outdoor space. The dogs absolutely loved it from arrival to departure. Spacious, clean, warm and delightful.

Absolutely wonderful little place. A true gem. Loved all the vintage furniture, a lovely aesthetic throughout. All the comforts and conveniences you could want. And the view... Well that's just one in a million.

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!
