Excellent service and great surroundings. House was clean and very beautiful.

Overall, great place to stay at. The pictures appeared as if the property was very spacious however the rooms were smaller than we expected.

Beautiful cottage, walkable to several pubs with food and a convenience store. Very quiet area, nice walks. Quite steep stairs with no handrail worth being aware of if any mobility issues.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this cottage in gorgeous Laugharne. The cottage is recently renovated and was fresh, clean and comfortable throughout. And the cottage has a great view of the castle. Great Welsh Escapes were excellent - very easy to communicate with and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

Excellent space! 6 of us went and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, just wish we stayed longer.

This is a really special house with very happy memories in every room. The facilities are good and the unique garden is spectacular. The loveliest way of experiencing the beauty of Laugharne and the surrounding area. Perfect for hosting a reunion or a dinner party as we did to great success. Brilliant weekend - many thanks.

Lovely spacious and well equipped house in a beautiful setting. It offered everything we needed to settle in and relax for a long weekend, with the ability to verge out for local walks to the beach and castle. Would recommend for large groups - great outdoor area as well as large drive for parking.

Footprints apartment had everything you needed for a perfect stay, and then some. Great location, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed.

We had a lovely family weekend, the house and garden was beautiful as was the local area. The house was fully equipped with everything you need.

Balmoral us an excellent holiday property situated in Pendine with its lovely sandy beaches.
The owners are so welcoming and will do anything to make your holiday go well.

This place is an absolute treasure. Very spacious, tastefully decorated and in the most beautiful setting. We loved that we could just walk out the door and could tramp around the Brecons. Our labrador loved the choice of two fireplaces and the garden is very dog friendly and secure. Do yourself a favour and have a bottle of bubbly on the hill watching the sunset go down - just magical.

We loved how isolated the property was - but it is best to come prepared for for your trip. Whilst the kitchen is well kitted out with crockery, kitchenware etc - no basics such as oil, sugar etc are provided (?due to COVID) and we got caught out on the first night. However, all in all a wonderful weekend away.

We have visited Laugharne several times over the last eight years, and this years stay was definitely enhanced by our stay at Gwalia House. A stunning property with a boutique hotel feel. Couldn’t fault anything. My family & I just loved it! Already looking forward to a repeat in 2021!

An amazing place for our family stay. The kids wanted a pool, and I was relieved that it was warm enough (I’ve stayed at places with pools that are too cold to actually swim in before). The bedrooms and bathrooms are all fabulous and a little bit bonkers. (I’m glad we didn’t take my elderly mother in the end though, as there are uneven floors and staircases without handrails.) The neighbours were really friendly, the village has everything you need and the beaches in the area are sublime.

Really excellent stay, even with average weather we got a lot of use out of the pool. The house is amazing and really spacious with great Wifi throughout. Would definitely return. Thanks for the great break.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. We had such a lovely stay here and we would love to come back. Ros got back to us very quickly if we had any questions and kindly let us check out later. She was a brilliant host.

York Lodge is an amazing house which was beautifully presented and in immaculate condition.
Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.

Very Beautiful home located right next the beach! Friendly locals and home was perfectly spacious and accommodating for our family of 8 and our pet.
Interior aesthetic was stunning also, the home has clearly been thoughtfully designed- the kitchen being a particular family favourite!
Communication was swift and Check in likewise. I have recommended this home to family and friends and would more than happily stay at Llas Y Mor again.

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

Nothing it’s just lovely

We stayed for one week and had a great time. Everything was as expected. All amenities were clean and fully functional. The places we wanted to explore were all within reach of an hour drive by car. A supermarket, pubs and takeout food is just a 10-15 min walk away. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to eat at any of the places as we either cooked ourself in the fully equipped kitchen or had dinner when we were out and about. There’s just one thing we would’ve wished for: blackout curtains in the bedroom.

Stayed at Awel Taf, lovely property, nice and spacious, a good base for visiting local beaches.

Had a super stay at the Barn and Chaffhouse in Castlemartin. It was ideally located for glorious beaches and scenery. Very well appointed and great hosts. Would recommend a stay here anytime.

The house was everything we needed, absolutely perfect for a family holiday. Plenty of space for all! We loved it and would love to return again another year!

A special thank you to Sammie from Great Welsh Escapes who responded to our one minor issue at 10pm on a Saturday evening and ensured it was all sorted by the following morning - that shows fantastic commitment and customer service.

Superb accommodation and location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, you pay a little more for this type of accommodation, but it really is worth it. My children, normally very fussy, adored their bedrooms and the whole house, which is full of character. Ideally placed within the village, and whilst there is no parking with the property, we never had a problem finding a parking space within a few footsteps, even in the school holidays. Pubs and restaurants are within a stone throw, and all are excellent. It's a very relaxing village, with beautiful walks, and superb beaches within easy travelling distance. We love the area, and will be back.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

A wonderful cottage which was beautifully furnished with everything you should need for a relaxing break away . Beds were so comfortable and was great that both bedrooms had en-suites . Had an absolutely amazing stay here, so peaceful and isolated. Great place to unwind. Everything you could need, great sound system in the living room with tv and comfy beds. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

The property is over 3 floors and offered loads of space for a group of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and we were able to travel by car to a number of local attractions. We will probably book again in the future.

It was a cosy cabin,did barbeque and bonfire,Really quiet and remote to be in nature and do star gazing at night,close by beaches so good location.
Also had a fireplace and equipped kitchen with two beds and baths.

We are a family of 5 and the house was definitely spacious enough for us. The views are breathtaking and the area is just so beautiful. We took time to enjoy the peace and the beautiful stars at night. The castle wonderful to see and the people were so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend.

Large, clean and private indoor heated pool plus sauna. Very tranquil location overseeing the lake. There are not other guests as there is only one property for holiday makers so it is very private feeling just like a second home. There are everything needed in the house.

Occasional flies in the house and farm smell outside but no smell in the house.

We had a wonderful stay, the house was great and provided a comfy and cozy base to explore West Wales from.

A beautiful house In a lovely quiet village. We always go away for a summer family week with our grown up kids and their partners and this house was big enough for them to all have their space and a kitchen and outdoor space for us to come together for big family meals .we had poor weather and there upstairs starting area was good for film night The enclosed garden was good for our two dogs.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! So clean, comfortable, with every amenity you need. We had the most relaxing few days escape here - couldn’t recommend it enough! There was also fresh eggs, honey and bread left!

Location allows trips to Pembrokshire / Brecon Beacons / Gower in around ~1h one-way - we found it very convenient.
Interior is to very high standard, farm environment is marvellous. The place is great value for money indeed!

An amazing house with some much character and the pool was incredible. The kids were in it every day!

Hazel really does go above and beyond, we stayed for a romantic weekend and the house is so quiet and serene and peaceful. Hazel popped round on our arrival to show us everything and talk us through the local things to see and do, really super helpful. The hot tub is simple to use, the surroundings are beautiful, clear sky for sunset in the horizon as well as completely clear starry nights.

100% couldn’t recommend this place more, well defo becoming back!

Absolutely beautiful house, and in a lovely location. We visited as a friendship group and it was just amazing! Great size bedrooms with huge comfy beds! All with en-suites, huge kitchen, lovely upstairs living room too. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk, and nice beach walks super close too!

The Cors was ideal for us, a party of two families with 5 teenagers between us. The house itself was homely and charming, and the location is great to explore this stunning part of Wales. Plenty of space to get together as a group, or to have some time to yourself.

This house is magnificent. We had a fanatic joint 30th here and enjoyed every second. The house is so much bigger than we had anticipated, it’s huge! The heated pool was the cherry on the cake. We’d definitely come back here again - thanks so much.

We always love coming to Lloret and our dogs make good use of all the nearby beaches. The hot tub is well maintained and it’s a joy to use it. It’s a great base to reach Pembrokeshire and Laugharne is a little gem

We were three families of six adults and five children. This was a lovely property in a great location and is worth visiting. It’s beautiful inside and out with very nice grounds. The photos didn’t really do it justice. Location great too.

An absolutely stunning farm house in a magical setting. Myself and my partner have stressful jobs, and live near Manchester, so to come here for absolute peace and tranquility was well needed, and couldn’t be faulted.

The farm house is kept to a high standard, with everything you needed within. Check in was easy, and we were contacted to ensure we knew who to turn to should we need any help.

The location is right on the Black Mountain, and weather conditions naturally can make the property a bit difficult to navigate to and from, however the road isn’t too bad, but we were glad for our 4x4!

The views and remoteness you get for this however are well worth it!

We will 100% be staying here again, and look forward to our next trip here. We already miss it terribly x

We have a lovely holiday despite the rainy weather! The place is very comfortable and was super clean. The welcome basket was very much appreciated and a lovely gesture. The surrounding areas are lovely, very calm and secure area.

We had such an amazing stay. The house is even better in real life and the kitchen is set up so well that cooking is a real pleasure. Any glitches were sorted immediately and everyone we met in Laugherne was so friendly (especially in Poon’s) - it was great being able to walk to get food/coffee etc. The pool was a perfect temperature and when the sun was out it felt like we were in Italy. Comfortable beds, incredible bathrooms and a cosy snug for when it rained. Perfect.

What a truely unique and amazing property, due to covid the whole family us to wait 2 years before we could visit but it was definitely worth the wait.

Great space in a good location - especially if walking the coast path. Some care is required negotiating the upstairs bedroom spaces as head height is very limited.

An absolutely emaculate property nestled away in a perfect location. This is the second time we visited and it's just as beautiful and perfect as the first time we stayed!

Parking was a little tricky at times

This is an excellent property, superbly located for all the local facilities and three minutes walk to Browns Hotel with the excellent Dexters Steak House and the simply superb Poons Thai restaurant. The cottage has newly fitted high quality fixtures and fittings and clearly the owners wish to provide a great experience for clients. It is well located and has all the facilities listed although I would point out that whilst the rear garden is certainly secure for pets it is made up of a shale base and a raised bark covered bed that is quite steep.
The communication both with GWE and the owners was excellent with a couple of issues addresses with great speed and efficiency. Thank you.

Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

This is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. Great Welsh escapes were super helpful and great at communicating if we needed anything while we were there. There was so much space in the house. We stayed with 3 children aged 3, 5 and 6 and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and play in. Lovely location for walking into Laugharne and a great base for visiting Tenby, Folly Farm etc. Would highly recommend.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

We had a lovely family weekend at The Cors. The house was wonderful and everyone was very happy with their rooms and the communal spaces. This made for a very enjoyable time. The grounds were beautiful and wandering around was very peaceful. We used Laugharne as a base for exploring old haunts in West Wales but also spent some time revisiting the local area. Had a great Sunday lunch at Dexters, just a brief walk away. All in all a superb weekend.

We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

We had a fantastic stay at Wildhaven - the remote location was exactly the break we needed.
The house is as lovely as the pictures, well equipped and extremely peaceful.
The weather wasn’t great the week we stayed but it didn’t matter! We had one clear night and the blanket of stars in the sky was magical. The WiFi was good and phone reception ok. We’d recommend staying!

We have had the most amazing time at Cliff Haven for my daughters Birthday. The view is breathtaking, the property has everything we needed. We are sad to leave & will definitely book again! 5*. Thank you! X

The Old School is a really beautiful building. It was also very clean with lovely fixtures and fittings which made our stay both comfortable and relaxing - the house is in a quiet location near both countryside and the coast. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen well-stocked - we eat in most evenings because of Covid and really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house.

What was not to like....views outstanding,hot tub games room very well equipped and beds so comfortable absolutely loved it

A very well presented holiday home. Spotlessly clean, with all comforts to make your stay in Laugharne a pleasant one.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful stay, one of the best we’ve had. The cottage is very cozy, has amazing views and has everything you need. We felt like home (I wish my home was like this place though). The stay was very relaxing. It was very easy to find—just click on “open the address in the maps/gogle maps” and it will take you right to the place (we used gogle maps, so the app just received the exact coordinates and led us to the exact spot.) The road at the end was totally fine—no issues at all. A typical countryside road and it’s fairly smooth. We would love to come back one day. The hosts were very responsive.

Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

The accommodation was just what we wanted for a relaxing break with our dogs, just perfect.
Lots of walking from the door and only a short drive to lots of different areas including the coast.
Perfect location for us, we would definitely return!

What a beautiful place. We stayed at ‘The Old School’ in Laugharne. It has everything you’d want and more. It is a place where a car is needed as you cannot really walk anywhere directly from here as there are no paths or public rights of way but without doubt if you need a base to explore Carmarthenshire or Pembrokeshire then this is it. Great Welsh escapes were also very good to deal with and we would recommend them to others.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

Excellent location. Ten minute walk down hill to beach and amenities.

Everything was excellent. Accommodation , location for beach, restaurants, shops.

It wouldn't be suitable for anybody with a disability, as the hill may be a problem and we had steps up to first floor apartment.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Laugharne! The cottage was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, the pictures don't really do it justice. The view from the balcony is breathtaking on a sunny day, with the sea on the horizon. We were also greeted with a small selection of treats that were greatly appreciated.
The only thing to note is that the access is through a slightly bumpy downhill farm path - this wasn't an issue for us in the spring though.

It was better than expected. Tendy as seaside town has many things to and the beaches are breath takingly beautiful. Definitely recommended 5 stars

The perfect spot for unwinding and visiting the surrounding area. Stunning area with some fabulous nearby beaches.

A little gem of a house in a great location, convenient for shops, pubs, restaurants and the castle. Very smart house, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with Great Welsh Escapes was excellent and quick too. Bottle of fizz on arrival was much appreciated.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The view across the Village to Laugharne Castle and the estuary is breath taking.
The bungalow was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was well used during the week.
The tea, coffee, waffles and prosecco on arrival were a lovely surprise and most welcome.
The location is ideal as a base to visit a number of costal resorts such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Even St David's is only an hour away. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely and clean - well maintained. Busy little village considering it is so quiet during the day. Some lovely places to eat out. House is perfect for a couple. Easy communication with Great Welsh Escapes - no problems at all. Would recommend to others.
