We have stayed at Sunnybank twice now. First time as a couple and we couldn’t wait to return for our family holiday! 5 stars is not enough, I would give so many more if I could! Hazel and Hugh are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Hazel gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to explore which was great! The bungalow is a real home from home. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, including lots of extra little touches that really sets this place apart from the others! Pendine beach is beautiful (pic below) we also drove a bit further up to New Quay where we hopped on a boat trip and saw lots of dolphins! 🐬 If you have children, we definitely recommend Folly Farm. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

this is a beautiful well equipped cottage. bigger in reality than the photos show. great central village location. Very handy that it has its own designated parking spot.

A beautiful and unique place to stay - check the photos on their website listing to see what I mean! Really comfortable and cosy - perfect for a family or couples wanting to take time out to explore the local area and chill in a relaxed setting. The Old School is equipped and furnished to a high standard; the beds and linen are amazingly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The kitchen has a great range cooker and great breakfast conservatory area - loved eating here in the mornings. Down the road in one direction is the town of Laugharne with it's interesting castle, great estuary views and range of restaurants and pubs serving a wide range of foods. In the other direction is the stunning town of Pendine with its sweeping beach and cliff top walks. Tenby is less than 40 mins away, making this property the perfect location.

The location and view from the property was simply stunning.

The property is adequately equipped and immaculately kept and served as a perfect base for my family and I to explore South Wales. The owners live adjacent to the property and were extremely friendly and polite not that we needed to contact them for anything as the property was simply perfect.

Lovely spacious bungalow with fantastic views of Laugharne. Lovely peaceful setting but a short walk into Laugharne. Well equipped kitchen. As per previous reviews, drive is steep but it wasn’t a big deal for us.

This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

Overall, great place to stay at. The pictures appeared as if the property was very spacious however the rooms were smaller than we expected.

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, immaculately presented and everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The location was perfect for touring South West Wales. The hosts were fabulous, offering us tips for places to visit and leaving us beautiful Welsh Cakes to welcome us. A fabulous restaurant 5 minutes walk away, offering delicious food. We couldn't have wished for anything more. Beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

Gwalia House is a beautifully presented house that puts one in the lap of luxury while still retaining it original Georgian feel. All of the rooms are lovely with every bedroom being en suite. The big kitchen-diner is great for day-time hanging out. Laugharne itself has so much to offer by way of restaurants, walks and places of interest. And as always brilliant, seamless organisation by Great Welsh Escapes. We'll definitely booking again.

Communication was excellent, hosts were on hand and always helpful. Easy journey there, 4 hours from London. Great local trips to llansteffan, laugharne, pending.

Bath water not as hot as we would have liked.

Very central location, just a few metres from both beaches and the harbour. Clean and tidy accommodation, nicely decorated. Tenby was lovely, with some quirky alleys and independent bars and shops.
Just be aware of parking logistics (top of the hill in a multi storey) and pedestrianised roads during the day. We had a great time!

Thank you so much AWEL TAF, my kids are literally gutted we are leaving today, the most comfortable house, everywhere was sparkling, very neat and well arranged, oh the shower is absolutely great. I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

A lovely home in a nice village close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and costal walks. We really enjoyed the home and will be back again. A visit to the castle with the kids is also great fun. Would highly recommend.

The views was amazing, apartment was very clean and comfortable.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

Incredibly spacious. Very modern. Immaculate. Great value! The hosts made us feel very welcome. The location is so peaceful and very quiet. We would highly recommend staying. In a beautiful location too!!!

Nothing it was perfect

Beautiful bungalow, decorated and furnished to high standard. Cosy kitchen/, diner lounge area. China crockery. Lots of kitchen equipment, washing machine, ironing board, beautiful fluffy white towels. Walk in im wet/shower area. Hot tub putdoor seating area.

Location, need a car, 4/5 mile drive to most areas, shopping, pubs its very rural

We’ve Just had a superb week at this lovely property near the beach. All the decor is warm and cosy, mattresses are incredibly comfortable with beautiful linen and towels . The kitchen, which is brand new was so well equipped, more than my own kitchen! We didn’t want for anything. The house was immaculately clean throughout.
We were lucky enough to have some blue skies with a view across the sea. Will be returning to enjoy the Sunny garden in the warmer months.

The most stunning views of the harbour from the bay window make this a holiday to remember. Do bring binoculars to watch the boats coming and going.
The apartment is very comfortable with excellent beds and both a shower and bath.
You are very close to the centre of Tenby so shopping, eating and sight seeing are all within easy reach.
Do be aware that if you arrive in the summer (7/7 to 12/9 this year) you will not be able to unload outside the apartment until after 5.30 pm due to local traffic restrictions.

A great location - as with every small town, parking can be an issue - we were out of season so local car park was ok.
Beware of the coastal path to Saundersfoot if it has been raining for a few months (we stayed in March) as it is really no longer a path, more of a water and mud assault course :-)
Tenby is Tenby - a fishing/seaside town town that seems to be able to hold its own well - enough locally to keep most folk happy - and locals seemed genuinely friendly

Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Hanna for offering such a beautiful house! The place is secure, quiet and surrounded be greenery all around which is so pleasing to the eyes! Hanna has been very kind and incredibly helpful all along. Me and my family had a wonderful time out here. We certainly look forward to returning back for a longer stay during our next trip.

Setting, comfort, decor, memorable touches (books, games, nightlight) particularly for the children, kindness of the owners, inclusion of key supplies in the kitchen and bathroom, clarity of information and communications, lack of road noise.

There was nothing we did not like.

Absolutely wonderful little place. A true gem. Loved all the vintage furniture, a lovely aesthetic throughout. All the comforts and conveniences you could want. And the view... Well that's just one in a million.

Had a fantastic family stay in the old school house. The facilities are high spec with a well equipped kitchen, in fact I’m now on the unit for a new bathroom following our visit.!
The only down side was that there are no draws or wardrobes in the bedrooms and therefore we were living out of suitcases for the week.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Wildhaven. The cottage is beautifully situated with incredible views. The cottage itself is exceptionally well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Very dog-friendly. t's a perfect base for exploring the Black Mountains. We highly recommend it.

A spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and comfortable apartment just a short walk away from the sea front. A very relaxing break where everything had been thought of.

The door key to the apartment doesn't fit easily into the lock as it is slightly bent. Checkout at 11am would be much more relaxing than 10am especially as guests are asked to strip the bed and collect up the towels before departure. The sloped low ceilings in the bathroom, dining area and bedroom resulted in a few bumped heads. Scaffolding outside spoiled the view

Wonderful house very spacious and a great design for multiple guests/ couples as you can all have a private room but then the kitchen dining and living rooms were huge for eating together etc.
Awsome location just 10 minutes walk to the local castle and sea/ estuary aswell as some handy local shops
We went for a family gathering over Christmas and arrived to find a lovely Christmas tree in the living room....a really nice touch!

Our stay was everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equip and the smart home features were great. Could not fault the property. The location was convenient although rural enough to feel private.

Our trip couldn't have been more perfect – the town is lovely and the location of the cottage perfect for estuary walks and trips to the castle, restaurants and pubs. So many things to do nearby too, we will be back!

We had a lovely break in Saint Clear's. The house was very clean and as described and the hosts were very accommodating.

Can not say enough about how amazing this stay was! From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and right at home. Hazel was very welcoming and made sure we were ok and had everything we needed. She also gave some great recommendations on where to go to eat and and explore!
We stayed near valentines and on arrival was a beautiful welcome basket and valentines balloons, along with a valentines teddy! Such a lovely surprise!
The cottage was immaculate and all the little homely touches really made it even more special.
I could go on all day. We have already booked to stay for longer in the summer and along with the children! We can’t wait!

We had an amazing time at The Cottage Laugharne. The house was very spacious and super comfortable. The views are beautiful. This week away was a family get together in memory of our parents, grandparents and great grandparents, they loved Wales. Thank you for the great memories we have made. ❤️

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

Our second stay at Gwalia House and it didn’t disappoint. The house is very stylish and comfortable

Magnifique - spacieux, confortable, très bien équipé, très belle vue dégagée sur la campagne, très bonne situation pour visiter le sud du Pays de Galles !

La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

The cottage was in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants, castle and Dylan's boat house. The facilities in the cottage were good. It was a nice touch to have a welcome pack on arrival.

My partner is tall and we did struggle with the double bed, would have liked a king-size, however we were fully aware of this when booking.

Footprints is a well equipped apartment in a good location.
It provides a good base for a relaxing stay . It is easy to explore other areas of Pembrokeshire from here.
There are several pubs /restaurants in walking distance from the apartment.

Would happily stay here again. Hugh and Hazel were fantastic hosts and the house has everything you can imagine - every little thing is thought of - the house is easily accessible and is so peaceful - the hot tub in the garden is an amazing addition and completed the stay for us. We loved it and will be back.

Perfectly equipped apartment, tastefully decorated throughout with great views. Kitchen had everything we needed (though no cafetierre/French press). Very relaxing to sit in the lounge and look out to see. Loved walking down into the centre but also made some day trips further into Pembrokeshire. Will miss the sound of the owls hooting at night. Would love to book again.

Lovely place to stay in a small village that’s easy to commute to the coast. Conveniently located next to a very nice hotel. The property was nicely furnished we had a great stay

Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

What a great stay, amazing space to call base.
Everything about this house is exceptional.....but when you wake up to a view of the river Taf, drinking Welsh tea on the decking, even in February is a memory to cherish.
The village has all you need with a great eatery included that is a must while you stay here.....Ty Glo is the place to try.

Wow what a place !! Totally remote ! Beautiful scenery , a secure garden for the dog (sheep next door) I walked the perimeter to make sure dog was secure which he was . You can only find the property by what3words. I was very impressed that Asda delivered the shopping which meant no supermarket visits, which are miles away. The cottage is warm and cosy ,it felt very homely , wonderful views from the living room , watching an ever changing weather across the hills all in front of a log fire. Would 100% visit again and recommend it if you like to get away from the rat race. The red kites were entertaining and regularly flew close to the cottage. The ponies are gorgeous. The sheep numerous !!!! There are lots of walks without using the car.

The Cors Country House exceeded all my expectations, we had an amazing time, the house and grounds were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

We were on a driving holiday with our 2 year old and we loved this place. It was perfect. Beautiful Cabin, Super Clean and Peaceful. Highly Recommended.

We had a very comfortable stay. The view is amazing from the lovely balcony. We appreciated the quiet location but also being so close to amenities and the beautiful beach.

We recently stayed at Footprints in Saundersfoot. The apartment is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for as a base and a place to relax.

Saundersfoot is a lovely part of the Pembrokeshire coast and closer to Tenby and other local attractions than we thought.

The beach is beautiful, large and so peaceful out of season. It's very easy to get a coffee to accompany your walk and there were many locals to converse with.

There's a good chance we'll be back!

Absolutely blown away by our stay, the accommodation is beyond beautiful and has that wow factor as soon as you walk in. The house is beautifully done and so well equipped! It was perfect for our yearly get away with friends and family and I couldn’t recommend it more and we can’t wait to come back! The location is perfect as it’s nicely tucked away and peaceful but also everything we did was easily accessible! We visited Y Polyn for dinner and would highly recommend this to all guests. Thank you so much for having us stay in your beautiful home and for the lovely hamper basket on arrival!

We stayed at Sunny Bank over the school Easter holidays. Two adults and our children 6 and 3. Plenty of information was sent in advance making finding the accommodation easy. We arrived to find a beautiful hamper of Welsh products and a warm welcoming home. Sunny bank has all the amenities you could need plus the luxuries of gowns and towels for the hot tub. The home was immaculately clean and a perfect place to come back to after a day out exploring the Welsh countryside. Hazel and her family went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from popping in to show us how to work the hot tub to messaging to help me find a doctor for my daughter. She really makes every effort to ensure you have a wonderful time. Sunnybank is so peaceful and quiet, and if you enjoy the hot tub in the evenings it's a great spot to stargaze in the clear unpolluted skies.

Direction given were easy to follow.
upon arrival we had a card and hamper waiting for us on the table which was definitely a nice touch.
The cottage was spotless clean and had every possible thing you can think of to make our stay comfortable. we felt at home straight away.
The host, Hazel was easily reachable and so very friendly.
10 mins drive in to town and 10 mins away from the beach and castle. in a very quiet and peaceful area.
highlight was the hot tub.
I will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely house and well placed for ease of access
Excellent facilities and space

Ideally 4th double or single room would have been useful.
We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

One of our favourite places to stay ever. Everything about it was wonderful. The dining room was our favourite. Although a family holiday, eating our evening meal in such a room, we felt we need to dress up, such was the grandeur :0)

My only comment is to take care on the local roads as some become impassable without warning.
Be careful using Waze!
Otherwise it was a great place, lovely hot-tub and very comfortable.

The Cors is really a very special place in the fabulous town of Laugharne. Close to two very good pubs, an excellent Thai restaurant and a good Deli. What makes the holiday is the house with its fabulous grounds. Clean ,well equipped, very generous welcome pack and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Llais y Mor in Llansteffan is a gorgeous house with lovely gardens. Would highly recommend this property. Everthing was just perfect.

Lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by great views and only the sheep and birds for neighbours. Great for a quiet getaway.
House is nicely decorated with modern touches and comfortable. The large window in the reception room is great especially when slightly too cold to sit outside as it was on our stay.
For those with dogs. The garden is enclosed to a point however a small dog could probably get through the main gate and one part of the fencing had buckled slightly. I think our bernedoodle would have had a go at jumping that part given half the chance.

We had a wonderful week at Creek Cottage. Waking to the sounds of a song thrush and blackbird and no traffic noise was wonderful. Prue showed us around the house and explained where things are. Steve and Prue were both very friendly and welcoming.
The castle grounds are glorious - with a huge walled garden and 12th century chapel. It was a pleasure to have access to these. Just one note, the drive is a little rutted and quite steep in places. It may not be easy for lower, more sporty cars.

Beautiful house and gardens, with fabulous views. The house has everything you need and there is everything you could need in the kitchen to cook with and clean up. We even did a roast dinner! The hot tub was lovely and clean. House was spotless. Good quality beds, bedding, towels etc. The host was very responsive to questions and even accommodated an early check-in to allow for a Tesco delivery. Highly recommend this place.

I stayed at the syr ar y bryn with my partner and 2 daughters for a short break for my partners birthday.
The property was very cosy and well equipped. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!
Everyone were very helpful and very friendly.

We needed a retreat for a family get together before returning to work and university. Laugharne was a perfect location and Fernhill House was the perfect home. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you.

The house was warm and cosy on arrival. It literally has everything you need and a bit more to enjoy a fabulous stay!

We found the beds really comfy, enjoyed the living room and kitchen areas as this allowed us all to gather in one space (6 of us). Our group also really enjoyed the hot tub too! We loved all the little details that had been put into the home, it really was a great experience!

Would highly recommend a stay here. Beautiful views and lots of opportunities for star gazing in the evenings.

The Boathouse is a super cottage with stunning surroundings, at the back of a farm, right by a gorgeous pond with ducks.

We went over Christmas for a relaxing break and had a wonderful time. The cottage is close to Dylan Thomas's Boathouse and great pubs. The estuary is beautiful and the locals very friendly. Would definitely love to go back. Thanks

A fantastic few days away. The house is beautiful and in a gem of a location. Definitely would visit again!

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The beds were comfortable and 2 bathrooms . Table and chairs outside for eating when the sunshines.
The restaurant in the attached hotel is a must try.. great food and lovely friendly service.
Short drive to the beach.. but as far as i know.. no pubs/shops to walk to ..but beautiful places for walking..

A totally beautiful barn conversion that thought of every possible thing that any guest could possibly want. Stunning!
It was slightly more remote than we had anticipated which didn’t really worry us but it may do for some guests.
Nothing about this property was left to chance. Amazing!!?

Fabulous stay at this property in Carmarthen for a long bank holiday weekend with family (including our dog). The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful which made for a relaxing stay. The property itself is modern and sleek with great Wi-Fi connection. The kitchen is large and actually equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Given this, we actually did cook a couple of times which was nice to do in the surroundings of a beautiful kitchen. Close by (around a 7 min drive) were several restaurants for dining out including one of the best Thai’s we’ve had (outside of Thailand itself) at Jasmine Thai. Highly recommend a stay here.

The Old School House was just perfect for our Christmas away .
The place was spotless , it was decorated for Christmas which was lovely .
It is even better in real life than the pictures and was so much bigger .
My family of 4 and our 2 dogs has plenty of room.
The location of Brook was quiet and peaceful and only 2 & 1/2 miles in either direction to reach the next place .
Laugharne was very pretty and we walked around the castle , we visited Dylan Thomas writing Shed .
The local shop had all we needed .
In the other direction was Pendine and we took the dogs for a run on the beach on Christmas Day .
We would definitley recommend and would love to return .

Excellent location (right on the harbour and near the town centre, but not noisy). Not a 'luxurious' accommodation, if that's what you're after, but perfect for a beach side holiday - practical, clean, cosy, well equipped. Lots to do, right on your doorstep, including an excellent Italian restaurant! We were very happy with our holiday there.

The boathouse has bags of character, a pool, is in a great location and seamed to be great value… what more can you ask for 👏
