The Cottage, Laugharne.
The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Saundersfoot and surrounding areas are beautiful. This flat is the perfect base for making the most of it with its sea view and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will gladly return to this location.

We had an amazing time at The Cottage Laugharne. The house was very spacious and super comfortable. The views are beautiful. This week away was a family get together in memory of our parents, grandparents and great grandparents, they loved Wales. Thank you for the great memories we have made. ❤️

An Airbnb that was actually better than the photos! We absolutely loved our stay here and were gobsmacked by how beautiful the place was. We felt like absolute kings/queens!
The place was very neat and tidy considering how big it is to clean. Lots of ammenities and activities to keep you busy inside or outside and walking distance to plenty of nice places close by.
The hosts were also very generous and allowed us to check out slightly later even on short notice.
Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

Cannot say how great this place is. Probably the best beach in Great Britain over the road. Flat spotless. Has everything you could ever want.

Hugh and hazels place was so lovely felt so private and really did think of everything we may need to spare toiletries to milk and battery’s. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise and the hot tub was 10/10. We felt like we were the first guests in the place was that clean! Thank you both again

Footprints is a fantastic apartment in a great location, short walk downhill into Saundersfoot, which is a gorgeous town. Apartment is spacious and really well presented with so many extra lovely touches. Large comfy bed. Communication with Sarah was excellent. We would like to return snd would definitely stay there again and recommend to others

We enjoyed our short stay at Sunnybank. The accommodation is very homely & has everything you could need. Lovely hamper & card was left for our arrival 🥰 so thoughtful! Very friendly host & fabulous hot tub with views. We loved an evening soak - stargazing 🌟🤩

A really lovely property- I stayed with five friends for a long weekend and we loved the space, the kitchen was so well appointed and the bathrooms all lovely. Comfy beds, warm and cosy, and it was easy to find parking which was great with three cars. I’d easily recommend it to others- Laugharne isn’t the most bustling location (loved the Three Mariners pub!) but really easy to get out to Tenby and other beautiful areas around. I only wish we’d had slightly later check out!

Simply put, the apartment was great. There was no concerns with being there; a little dusty on the kitchen worktop, but nothing seemed out of place or dirty. Great comms from the host; responsive, friendly and pleasant. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody.

One of the nicest places I've stayed when using AirBnB. A little expensive, but what isn't these days, and it was Easter weekend, so no real complaints there.

The location was good. It was on a main road out of Saundersfoot, so it had a little traffic noise, which was hardly noticeable. A 5-10 minute walk up a hill from the centre of town and out of the way enough that getting out was simple. Convenient parking too.

Ein wunderschönes Haus auf einer Ebene zwischen dem Meer und dem Nationalpark. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist der Hammer. Der Garten ist nicht zu 100% eingezäunt, aber mit etwas Fantasie kann man ihn "Hundeausbruchsicher" machen.

We had a lovely weekend in Saundersfoot, and found the property within walking distance of everything we wanted, though the hill was a bit tough but good for us!
The house was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The beds were especially comfortable, I slept so well!

Very very clean spacious property, which contained everything we needed. Felt very homely. The garden was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable. Excellent location for exploring.
Equally the surrounding neighbours were very friendly

We booked this house for my partners parents and they were amazed by the views and how gorgeous the house was! They want to book it every time they come and visit.

Perfectly equipped apartment, tastefully decorated throughout with great views. Kitchen had everything we needed (though no cafetierre/French press). Very relaxing to sit in the lounge and look out to see. Loved walking down into the centre but also made some day trips further into Pembrokeshire. Will miss the sound of the owls hooting at night. Would love to book again.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Perfect for our birthday celebration and the three generations who attended. We had everything we needed and more.

Beudy Howel was a beautifully renovated property. It was light & airy and exceptionally well appointed. There was a thoughtful welcome package. Lots of easy to follow instructions and lists of restaurants & beaches. I would highly recommend staying here, it was lovely & quiet.

Lovely little house, beautifully decorated and equipped and everything was good quality. Log burner was wonderful to come home to after long windy walks in the beautiful local area.

It was perfect the cottage had everything we needed. It was cosy and comfortable and really peaceful. Really well thought out accommodation.

A lovely tucked away boathouse that nestles in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation provides all you need with a peaceful lake right outside. The huge swimming pool you have access to makes for a great rainy day activity.

Lovely home bedrooms all good sizes. Very comfortable beds. Great house to stay in nice and clean and handy to park on the drive. Garden was fab for the dog. Great stay

No handrail on the stairs. Not a problem for the younger members of our group but 1 was an 88 year old who just needed help with the stairs. Would be great if one could be put up but wouldn’t stop us from staying again

Nothing it was perfect

This is a superior home from home and then some! It boasts fabulous accommodation for a family or without children.
There are the most amazing walks to be taken around the property with glorious countryside views.
And then there is the hydro-pool - what a luxury - great for relaxing ur power swimming.
The parking is next to the cottage.
Highly recommend.

Paula and Edward the owners were wonderful! The house was very clean with all the amenities you need. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. Between the hosts and the home they made it a perfect vacation! We do hope to return!

Had a lovely stay, the team at Great Welsh Escapes were always there and proactive in reaching out. They also messaged to check we had found everything OK.

Cottage was beautiful and well-equipped. Lovely village location. Parking was not always possible right outside the cottage but within a couple of minutes walk (literature in the cottage shared suggested parking locations).

We didn’t use the garden but it could do with a bit of tidying up … will be lovely if/when that is done though.

Would very much recommend this cottage as a beautiful, relaxing base for the area. A home from home.

The Cottage was the perfect family house for the 12 of us ranging from 10 to 75 years. We loved the amazing views from the sun room and garden. It was an ideal location to base ourselves with beautiful beaches, walks and lots of things to do close by. The house was clean and very well kept, Great Welsh Escapes were responsive and quick to reply to any questions and kept in touch through out the stay. We had a fabulous Family Holiday and would definitely recommend this property.

It’s a beautiful home and the location is very peaceful perfect for evening walks….Only downside is the parking issue as the street is quite a busy street.

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely large bedroom and bathroom, lounge smaller than expected but cosy and comfortable. Double glazing kept the room quiet. Lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely stay again.

FOOTPRINTS is a lovely flat in a great location , the walk to the beach just opposite is amazing. The flat is immaculate, well decorated, great storage space and has everything needed for 2. can not fault it in any way .
The owner was helpful and very friendly.

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

Beautiful bungalow, decorated and furnished to high standard. Cosy kitchen/, diner lounge area. China crockery. Lots of kitchen equipment, washing machine, ironing board, beautiful fluffy white towels. Walk in im wet/shower area. Hot tub putdoor seating area.

Location, need a car, 4/5 mile drive to most areas, shopping, pubs its very rural

We had a great stay, the house was exactly as advertised and the location was particularly good. Right in town and an easy walk to lots of pubs and cafes.

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

What a great stay, amazing space to call base.
Everything about this house is exceptional.....but when you wake up to a view of the river Taf, drinking Welsh tea on the decking, even in February is a memory to cherish.
The village has all you need with a great eatery included that is a must while you stay here.....Ty Glo is the place to try.

Our second stay in Round Park and we will definitely be back again! Everything we needed for 8 of plus dog. Having the annex too, was great! Thanks Michelle, Jac and all the Great Welsh Escapes team.😃

Wohnen in historischem Haus. Tolle Einrichtung. Überaus geräumig. Das Kaminzimmer ist so schön. Ein absolutes Highlight!

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

Lovely cottage with all modern comforts incl.uding dishwasher and smart TV. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
The cottage is recently built but in keeping with the period cottages and houses of King Street, Laugharne. Beautiful peaceful area with good shops and pubs and restaurants. Even has its own castle. Plenty to see; TV series "Keeping Faith" was filmed there and writer/poet Dylan Thomas lived there.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this cottage in gorgeous Laugharne. The cottage is recently renovated and was fresh, clean and comfortable throughout. And the cottage has a great view of the castle. Great Welsh Escapes were excellent - very easy to communicate with and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

The accommodation was just what we wanted for a relaxing break with our dogs, just perfect.
Lots of walking from the door and only a short drive to lots of different areas including the coast.
Perfect location for us, we would definitely return!

The views was amazing, apartment was very clean and comfortable.

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

Excellent séjour passé à Laugharne, petit village avec un minimum de commodités et de jolies randonnées à faire aux alentours au départde la maison. Le logement était conforme à l'annonce, très propre et fonctionnel. Bon rapport qualité prix pour la région, je recommande !

we stayed at the property for our honeymoon and could not believe how beautiful and remote it was. the closest villages and towns are a 20 minute drive in any direction, the views are stunning and the space feels cozy and like home.

A wonderful stay! The house is cozy, the garden beautifully maintained, and the hot tub was a real highlight – especially in the evenings. Our kids loved the calves in the nearby field. As a family from Germany, we felt truly welcome and at home. Highly recommended!

A really comfortable and well equipped property and as is stated in the details. In a good location in the centre of Laugharne which has a good range of eating places and small stores. The food from Poons was fabulous.

We highly recommend Sunny Bank to anyone who wants beautiful countryside views, a very well stocked and equipped kitchen, lots of living space and all the comforts of home. All within easy access of stunning beaches, beautiful gardens and picturesque towns.
The hosts really do care about their guests and it shows. We hope to be back some day.
We would happily give Sunny Bank SIX stars if we could, but the rating system won’t let us!

Great place to stay for a weekend by the sea. Very close to Saundersfoot and plenty of space.

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

Awesome Taf is a great location to be when visiting carmerthen , it is actually withing 25 mins drive to Oakwood theme park, 24mins to Dinosaur park, Heathertons etc and 3.5 miles to Pembroke Castle and very close to McDonald's. The host was very nice, the house was 100percent very clean. Very comfortable felt like home.

Beautiful cottage, walkable to several pubs with food and a convenience store. Very quiet area, nice walks. Quite steep stairs with no handrail worth being aware of if any mobility issues.

The pictures don't do it justice...we were in town for the laugharne festival... watching the light change on the sea and the tides come and go was very peaceful between gigs.
It was a breeze on the bus from Carmarthen train station...lots of lovely walks and places to eat on the doorstep.

We found the kitchen well equipped and spacious and the lounge cosy in the evenings. Beds were comfy and we used all 3 bedrooms. The location is good with easy access to walking paths. Laugharne was quieter than we had anticipated for early July and not all businesses were open, e.g. the fish and chip shop was open at lunchtime but closed in the evening. As other reviewers have commented, we did not find it possible to park in the street near the house during our stay. We used the washing machine and an outdoor washing line would have been useful.
There is a garden/outside space but we didn’t use it as we didn’t have great weather.
Great Welsh Escapes were easy to contact and helpful. We would happily book via them again if we were to revisit Wales.

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing break away. Secluded enough to feel away from people but close enough drives to villages/towns.
The house was immaculate and much bigger than i anticipated from the photos. Comfy beds and nice to have a lounge separate from the kitchen.
We took our 9 month old with us and they had everything we needed such as travel cot, high chair, bath seat, all the way to spoons/bowls/swim nappies and more.
The hot tub was an added bonus, was lovely to sit in at night and relax listening to..well the silence!

The shower was either freezing or boiling! Just could not get it at right temperature but did not detract from our enjoyment of the cittsge!

I cannot big this properly up enough, the hosts left a lovely welcome basket which was a very lovely and personal touch, Hazel made us feel welcome on arrival and checked everything was okay for us. The property was very cosy and extremely clean, there was robs and towels left for us to use for the hot tub, anything you could think of that you would have needed or wanted was at the property. The property is located in a private area which was amazing for the evenings, however there was an abundance of things for us to do and see through the days just a short drive from the property. There was plenty of restaurants around a ten minute drive away to choose from too. We loved the properly so much we booked an extra nights stay which was so easy to do through the sight. We have already highly recommend the property to friends and family and would surely book the property in the future.

What a wonderful, peaceful experience we have had staying here at Old Oak Barn, the cottage is beautiful, picturesque walking grounds surround the barn. Look out for the little surprises! We were made to feel so welcome, outstanding hospitality. What a Gem, you will not be disappointed and we look forward to another visit

Everything about this property is great. Hosts are very warm and takes guest's comfort very seriously. We were welcomed with Easter treats and a delicious welsh cake. The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

We had a fantastic week in Laugharne at Gwalia House. The accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean and exactly as described and was perfectly located to enjoy all the Laugharne and the surrounding area has to offer. Laugharne itself is gorgeous and such a friendly place, we especially liked Poon over the road! The hosts (Great Welsh Escape) were very communicative and even responded to questions on bank holiday! We loved Gwalia House and definitely hope to be back.

The location was superb, overlooking a lake with wildfowl. Being on a farm at the end of a track, it was private and quiet. Having sole use of a large indoor heated pool was a real bonus. The property was comfortably furnished. There were shops in nearby St Clears with long opening hours, even on Sunday. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The steps down to the property were steep.

It was a perfect house to welcome our family. Everything was perfect - even better than the photos. The house is truly special, like stepping back in time, but with all the mod cons. Everyone loved it.
The host kindly kept the pool heating on, even at end of October, so that was special for the kids.
The surrounding area is very beautiful, so perfect location.

We had a lovely family holiday at The Cors. Jac was a great host, organising an extra cot for us which was set up and ready to go. On arrival the whole house was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome pack of local bread, cake etc. Throughout the stay Jac was in contact to check everything was fine which we found reassuring.

We loved our stay! It was in a great location for exploring the local area. There is so much to see and do. We had a great break!
We had plenty of space and the accomodation has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The shower and bath were brilliant and the beds were very comfy!
Loved waking up to the horses in the field in the morning.

We also had a delicious meal at the hotel right next door which was super convenient with 3 children!

What a fantastic place, we had a wonderful time here and would visit again. Place was warm and cosy and very clean upon arrival, with all that you could need if you hadn't had chance to pick up any food at the shops (coffee, tea, wine, milk & even soup). The house is beautifully styled and the log burning fires were perfect for the rainy, cold days of which we had a few. We had good response to our messages even over the Easter BH weekend, they did everything to ensure we had a good time.

What an Amazing house - there really aren’t enough superlatives to describe it .Every room was a delight & we revelled in staying in such grandeur . We had an absolutely wonderful time & the pool was an extra bonus. . Great comms & Michelle was very helpful. We have already booked a return trip.

We stayed as a party of 9. There was plenty of room for everyone & we enjoyed a fantastic New Years Eve party. The town of Laugharne is lovely, with a few pubs & shops, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

La situation élevée (d'où la superbe vue) a une contrepartie : quand il y a du vent, ça souffle !!! (nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la spa.. dommage !) - mais ce n'est pas bien grave...

C'est vrai, comme le disent d'autres personnes les routes sont très étroites et il peut y a voir des engins agricoles... mais c'est juste comme presque partout dans la campagne britannique - donc pas un problème pour nous...

A lovely house, with fantastic gardens. Perfect place to stay and relax for a week with three generations of our family getting together. Minutes walk into town, plenty to do in the area and it’s such a nice place to stay you’ll be happy just staying in, even when it’s raining. If anything, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos - though we were also lucky with the sunshine.

We had a great time at this amazing house for my 30th birthday! The house is huge and the swimming pool made our trip. It is so close to the village of Laugharne about a 5 minute walk if that, lots to do in the local area. We really appreciated the special touches the host provided, gifting us a balloon and Prosecco for the celebrations! Would not hesitate to come back again 😀

Perfect for two. Well equipped, very clean, comfortable and modern. Well priced for our two night stay. We would love to stay again.

A fabulous house. Lovely views over countryside in the back garden. The location is excellent you can get everywhere in the area very easily. We were family of 6 and everything worked so well. The weather was on our side and the beaches and facilities were amazing. Coppett Hall our favourite beach. Would book again.

Our hosts Buddig and Lloyd were welcoming, friendly, offering the very best of Welsh rural hospitality. Diolch yn fawr! A generous welcome pack with home made barabrith and their own honey, milk, tea, coffee etc was really appreciated. The location is quiet and beautiful with stunning views.The accommodation is comfortable, spacious and decorated in a 60s/70s theme. We loved the record player!

More than we expected. Decorated for Christmas and a lovely hamper. The view was beautiful and forever changing. The peace and tranquility. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Enormous house with very private garden and lovely pool. Close to pubs/restaurants and beautiful walks right out of the front door. I’ve never had a bathroom like it. Great for family holidays and plenty of activities nearby. We will definitely return.

Stayed for a week with my family over the summer. The Hidden Valley is beautiful - newly decorated, super comfy sofas and beds, kitchen fully equipped (they have thought of everything!), and the snug is a real bonus. It was fantastic to walk out of the bedroom door in the morning and enjoy the spectacular view. I'm a keen stargazer, and the dark skies were an absolute wonder. Got some great photos of the Milky Way and it was a real treat using my telescope. Location-wise, there are so many gorgeous beaches nearby (Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge, Manorbier and Barafundle were our favourites), lots to do for the kids and for adults, and plenty of places to stock up on amenities just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you for a fantastic week!

Sunnybank is to be highly recommended, Hazel was an amazing host & left us a beautiful welcome basket of goodies, it was much appreciated. Location is great, just what we wanted, nice & peaceful & the hot tub was very welcome after a long day exploring. Bed was so comfortable & the accessible shower & handrails were much appreciated by my husband.

As a big family it was a perfect place to be all together. There was plenty of space for us all and the views were beautiful!

Gwalia House was absolutely exceptional. Beautifully decorated inside and accommodated our young family perfectly. So much space for the little ones and luxury comfort for the adults. We would not hesitate to book again.

The Cors is a home of great character with an incredible hidden garden giving you perfect privacy. It’s an ideal spot for family and friends to stay with space and all facilities you need for inside and outdoor living. Great variety of places to sit and enjoy the sun and be together or have some quiet time. We loved the whole area with plenty of walks from the door to exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coastline.

Everything was as expected if not better. We enjoyed the views from the windows in all rooms and especially from the hot tub. The castle is lit up at night which adds a great background when relaxing in the bubbles. The open plan kitchen lounge and dining room layout of the house was ideal for us with kids. The house was lovely and clean and the welcome gifts were a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

It was an amazing place this place has quite and peaceful to chill out with family friends they provided everything we need and moreover host was so friendly she was always available to help out anyway highly recommended

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

Everything was perfect

My little family and I had a wonderful 5-nights stay in Pendine. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need! Despite the weather being absolutely awful for 4 out of the 5 days, we still had a fab time :) views are unbelievable looking out over the seafront, highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes :)

Absolutely loved our stay, with the best location in all of Tenby. I couldn't tear myself off the window seat whenever we were in the spacious apartment.
Very comfortable beds, good shower, good wi-fi, good kitchen.
I miss it already and hope to rebook.

Some hosts can be pushy or OTT but Great Welsh Escapes weren’t like that at all.

We were given all the info we needed, before we needed it and knew who to contact if we needed to (which we didn’t).
