Our stay was everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equip and the smart home features were great. Could not fault the property. The location was convenient although rural enough to feel private.

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was exactly as described and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was booked for my wife’s 50th birthday and what a venue!

We had been before so everything ran like clockwork. Ou r only complaint was that the big ceiling lights were covered in dust and the fridge is very small and not easy to access but we never the less loved it as much as the first time. Almost perfect.

Everything about this property is great. Hosts are very warm and takes guest's comfort very seriously. We were welcomed with Easter treats and a delicious welsh cake. The instructions booklet provided by host had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Property had nice positive vibe that you start feeling like dear home instantly.

We spent xmas at The Great house and it was magical. Great welsh escapes went above and beyond when helping organise our stay and once we arrived and during. Thank you Michelle for the decorations and the welcome hamper , logs, fizz etc. First class. We will be coming again. The house was just perfect!!

Everything about it. Fantastic place in a beautiful location. The Cors has everything you need. We were 6 adults and 3 children. Loads of room. Pool table, bar, cinema room. Can't fault this place. Truly stunning. Jac was great with communication and I'm sure would do anything for you. Loved every minute of the stay.

No handrail on the stairs. Not a problem for the younger members of our group but 1 was an 88 year old who just needed help with the stairs. Would be great if one could be put up but wouldn’t stop us from staying again

Everything thing was great....amazing views over the castle and the river Taff.
Even on a wet February morning the views where worth the money.
The whole property was clean and very modern.
The village is very close with all amenities BUT please try Ty Glo....this eatery was one of the highlights.....a jewel that's hidden from sight.

We stayed for 3 nights here as an extended family. Welcome pack on arrival - House had everything we needed as a large group (10). Games facilities were amazing - all in a self contained area and hot tub put to good use overlooking beautiful Welsh scenery.

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

The cottage was in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants, castle and Dylan's boat house. The facilities in the cottage were good. It was a nice touch to have a welcome pack on arrival.

My partner is tall and we did struggle with the double bed, would have liked a king-size, however we were fully aware of this when booking.

We had a lovely weekend in Saundersfoot, and found the property within walking distance of everything we wanted, though the hill was a bit tough but good for us!
The house was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The beds were especially comfortable, I slept so well!

Sunnybank is a fantastic place to stay. A really well thought out bungalow in a really peaceful location.

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

this is a very comfortable family house with wonderful views over Camarthen Bay . A spacious garden room that means you can sit and enjoy watching the weather coming in from the sea.

It was a cosy cabin,did barbeque and bonfire,Really quiet and remote to be in nature and do star gazing at night,close by beaches so good location.
Also had a fireplace and equipped kitchen with two beds and baths.

We had a fabulous stay at York Lodge in Laugharne. York Lodge was clean, modern, wonderfully equipped and a great size for our party of 6. Laugharne is a lovely village with an amazing family run deli called The Ferryman and some other good food options. The team at Great Welsh Escapes were so responsive, helpful and professional, I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!
We loved:

- The fluffy white towels
- The cleanliness

- The unexpected welcome hamper!

- The board games for the kids
There is loads to do in the area, we were here for a week and went to:
- Folly Farm
- Local beaches which are all fabulous, especially Llansteffan with the fish & chips
- The National Bird of Prey Centre
- Pembrey Country Park
- Gwili Steam Railway
- Tenby
I highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place, really well located, and the hosts Hazel and High are so nice and have such a great attention to detail.

Great place to stay for a weekend by the sea. Very close to Saundersfoot and plenty of space.

The cottage is very cosy. Living room is cosy with a large fireplace but plenty of space. The sofas are a bit tired but not a problem.
We travelled during a 30°+ heat wave and the living room was very cool due to the stone walls which made it a very welcome place to be!
The garden is lovely and full of secret paths for the kids but be warned, there is a pond exposed, so no good for toddlers.
The area is fantastic with Pembrokeshire coast and loads of things for the kids.
Only gripe is that there is no parking by the cottage other than a layby. There is a car park 150 yards up the road however which allows you to see some incredible scenery of the area, so absolutely this is not a negative overall.
Worth mentioning that there is no TV signal or mobile coverage although there was broadband and WiFi available.

Chapel View is a lovely, clean cottage in a really convenient spot in Laugharne. We’ll definitely be back!

BRING THIS BACK. Over the years I have been to so many festivals and Middlelands was hands down THE BEST. Never have I felt so safe due to the friendly security at a festival. I never had to worry about water, there was so much to do in between sets. Best. Festival. Ever.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Nothing it was perfect

Our stay at The Old School House in Carmarthenshire was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area, with underfloor heating and a boiling water tap, was impressive, and we were greeted with a lovely hamper.
The living room had a cosy sofa facing an 83-inch OLED TV with a great sound system. Every detail in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suites was finished to the highest standard.
The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day, and it was here my partner proposed—I’m happy to say, I said yes!
The house is easy to find, with ultra-fast gigabit broadband and immaculate cleanliness.
We truly loved our stay and look forward to returning one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

This is a beautifully appointed & comfortable apartment, the hosts had thought of everything! The views across the bay are great and access to the cost path is just across the road. Parking space & key access easy to find/ use.

Not a criticism of the property, but worth noting that the walk back from the town/ beach involves coming up a steep hill

The Cors is a very special place. it is beautiful inside and out. We can only imagine just how fantastic the gardens would be in summer. The rooms are generous and social, while still allowing space to read and potter. The house was very clean, with lots of little extra touches to make our stay even better. walks along the estuary were stunning. The village has a couple of shops and pubs and on our last night we had a fantastic thai meal delivered from Poony who is aboutoto open a premises on the Grist. Just lovely!!

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. Can’t wait to come back again for another memorable break :)

A beautiful location - very rural and out of the hustle and bustle of city life. There are no shops / pubs or restaurants near the property so go prepared. The garden is a lovely place to relax and the cottage is a special experience- cosy and adequate. Parking is a problem though, the neighbours occupy the parking space which is meant for this property so we had to squeeze into the left over spot which left our car exposed and sticking out into the road, and I had to park so close to the hedgerow that I had to exit the vehicle from the passage door. This is a real downer for this property as otherwise it was a lovely stay.

A 30th birthday trip of dreams!
The Great House in Laugharne was everything and more. Check in was super easy with a key/lockbox.
The heated pool was incredible, when we first arrived we all ran around looking at ALL the incredible bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces.
We felt so bougie and smiled, laughed, played games, ate, drank the whole weekend it was perfect.
The Ferryman Delicatessen is a stones throw away from the house and has a wonderful selection of delicious food we visited a few times!
Wouldn’t change a thing, amazing stay, I’d love to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Very spacious and clean. Had great facilities and everything we needed. Location was nice and not far from main town. Walks along the beach to the castle were peaceful and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery and village. Very quiet and relaxing.

This place is an absolute treasure. Very spacious, tastefully decorated and in the most beautiful setting. We loved that we could just walk out the door and could tramp around the Brecons. Our labrador loved the choice of two fireplaces and the garden is very dog friendly and secure. Do yourself a favour and have a bottle of bubbly on the hill watching the sunset go down - just magical.

We loved how isolated the property was - but it is best to come prepared for for your trip. Whilst the kitchen is well kitted out with crockery, kitchenware etc - no basics such as oil, sugar etc are provided (?due to COVID) and we got caught out on the first night. However, all in all a wonderful weekend away.

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious, clean and tidy. Views from the terrace and the windows across Laugharne to the castle, and of the tidal estuary were incredible.
Everything we needed was provided, and we definitely return to Lloret.

The scenery was insane, we were always in the hot tub admiring views (now we understand why it is where it is located!)

It is a 20 minute drive to a local shop and further to a supermarket so would recommend a food delivery so you can kick back and enjoy when you are there.

Having just returned home from a 3 night stay at Footprints apartment in Saundersfoot, we would highly recommend this to anyone. It was 5 star rating, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to the town and harbour. We are looking forward to staying there again in the foreseeable future.

Very cosy and tidy house. Very quiet surroundings and a bit to drive for the more interesting to-dos (beaches, castles/houses/gardens) of the region.

Wonderful accommodation in a very quiet location but only just out of the village. Bit of a climb up the road if you have a drink in one of the many pubs and restaurants that are only 10 min walk from the accommodation. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The private garden area was a huge plus, the silence only disturbed by a noisy bee, lol. We would certainly stay here again.

We have had the most amazing time at Cliff Haven for my daughters Birthday. The view is breathtaking, the property has everything we needed. We are sad to leave & will definitely book again! 5*. Thank you! X

Wow what a place !! Totally remote ! Beautiful scenery , a secure garden for the dog (sheep next door) I walked the perimeter to make sure dog was secure which he was . You can only find the property by what3words. I was very impressed that Asda delivered the shopping which meant no supermarket visits, which are miles away. The cottage is warm and cosy ,it felt very homely , wonderful views from the living room , watching an ever changing weather across the hills all in front of a log fire. Would 100% visit again and recommend it if you like to get away from the rat race. The red kites were entertaining and regularly flew close to the cottage. The ponies are gorgeous. The sheep numerous !!!! There are lots of walks without using the car.

Stayed at Chapel View. A few teething problems as brand new but dealt with brilliantly and quickly by GWE and the lovely owners who live next door. Beautiful cottage - didn’t want to leave!!! And would hugely recommend local walks and a trip to Pendine Sands. And Tapas from the Ferryman which is 2 doors down!!

I want to give 5* for this accomodation, we will return in the summer .

We had a lovely week here. It is a genuinely stunning cottage and everything inside is of the highest standard and quality - just as the description suggests. It is luxurious and 5 star. It is also very quiet and peaceful (the heart of the Welsh countryside!), though we were woken up by cows on a couple of mornings! Location is excellent for Pendine (beautiful long and sandy beach) and Laugharne (quaint town with castle), each a 5 minute drive away. However, the heart of Pembrokeshire (Tenby, Saundersfoot etc) is a good 25-35 min drive away and so a car is essential. We had a few issues with the TVs but I'm sure it will be sorted for future guests. Overall we would highly recommend this cottage.

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

Great location and apartment with parking - a short walk into town, with a lovely view and everything that you would need to hand (even a cheese slicer).

We have visited the area for many years and this was a fabulous apartment from which to explore, easy walking distance to town centre and to access the coastal paths. Place was immaculate with plenty of additional little touches in terms of advice and amenities that enhanced the experience. Apartment is easy to find, light and very spacious with everything you need and more.

Lovely cottage in the picturesque village of Laugharne with some great pubs/restaurants on the doorstep and lovely beaches nearby. A clean, well maintained cottage with courtyard garden.

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

Perfect location and very spacious apartment! The large living room and views are amazing.
We were lucky to be there during a heatwave so spent most of our time on the beaches. We left the car at the multi-storey car park for the whole week as everything you need is in walking distance. Car park only cost £30 for the week.
Kids were happy with the beach toys on offer at the accommodation to play with.
Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great.

I stayed at The Cors Country House with my family for 4 nights in early September 2021 and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! The Cors is a really stunning place to stay - the house is full of character and very comfortable with lots of fun 'extras' like the pool room, the cinema room and lots of games - and the garden is enormous and very tranquil and beautifully kept! The owners were also very hospitable and responsive and suggested many 'hidden gems' in the nearby area for us to explore, which we loved! We would definitely come back to the Cors or one of the other holiday properties that are available from Great Welsh Escapes - it's a great local company and we 100% recommend them! Some hosts can be pushy or OTT but Great Welsh Escapes weren’t like that at all.

We were given all the info we needed, before we needed it and knew who to contact if we needed to (which we didn’t).

I booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 due to the job I was doing getting complete a day early.
The property was spotless, and we we're greeted at the gate by the host, which made things even simpler than how the photos show how to get into the house.
The house had everything you'd need for a lengthy stay. Shops and local amenities are about 5 mins away by car, 15 walking.
Can't comment on local pubs and restaurants as I never ventured out after being in the cold all day at work

The bungalow was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was great for us that it is fully accessible as my disabled mother could visit.

This property is a great base for lots of beautiful Welsh places and only 10 mins drive from Carmarthen. Hot tub was lovely. I lay in it and looked at the stars.

There a is a beautiful beach 5min down the road, got in a few good walks even in February. Can imaging in summer it would be a daily trip.

No shelter in the outside space from the rain.
An umbrella or awning would have been useful.

What an amazing house - huge, comfortable and well-equipped. The swimming pool was an extra bonus. A really special place in a fantastic location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It is on quite a busy road and the bedrooms at the front do get traffic noise so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. In the loft, the chairs are quite old and rickety and the water was not connected to the tap in the kitchen. But these were minor irritations in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Michelle could not have been more helpful or welcoming. When there was a power cut one morning and we could not prepare breakfast she organised for us all to have breakfast from a local cafe. There were lovely welsh treats for us when we arrived so we had local goodies on hand. Thanks very much to Michelle for all her hospitality.

Stunning house with all facilities needed, all the little touches provided, very much enjoyed our week here and didn’t want to leave. Laugharne a lovely, quirky village, enjoyed strolling by the estuary in the evenings. Good location to explore the local area, great beach for families at Pendine and only 30 minutes from Tenby.

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

A lovely quaint cottage in Laugharne. Very clean with great heating which was needed. Had a large kitchen with dining room table and chairs and well appointed. Washer/dryer was great. Main bedroom had a small but lovely en-suite. We went there in winter but found really nice walks around the area and some nice cafes still open. Browns restaurant is def worth a visit. Interior abd food is excellent. The Dylan Coastal Resort was open and we enjoyed lovely meals there. Definitely take a trip to Tenby it’s a beautiful seaside town about a 30 min drive.

The place itself is absolutely lovely, and they really have thought of everything and provided any tool or little thing you may not even have thought about! It’s so clean and smells lovely, the beds are also extremely comfy and soft. The location is beautiful and nice and quiet. Lots to do around it as well as being easy to get to places a bit further out. Hazel and Hugh are also so nice and welcoming.

Amazing huge house. Had a great time with all the family, rooms large enough for us all to sit together and the house was large enough for us all to have space. Kids and I really enjoyed the pool.

This place is lovely spacious clean and well equipped .Hazel (the host ) popped past to make sure we had everything we needed and left us a lovely hamper. I will definitely return.if I had one very small negative comment it would be the booking in on line with great Welsh escapes .quite simple when Jess their employee guided me through the process and sending me a link to follow just a bit annoying as I booked it through Airbnb who already have all the details I repeated on the online booking form . Never the less this fabulous place was worth the extra form to fill in thank you very much hazel

We LOVED York Lodge - Laugharne is beautiful and although I didn't know much about Dylan Thomas before I went, reading his 'Poem in October' written on his 30th birthday; whilst walking his 'birthday walk' (in October) and seeing what he was looking at and referring to was one of the most moving experiences. The emotion of it took me by surprise! The views are out of this world and a short walk from York Lodge. I am SO glad we came here and will most definitely come back again.

great open space. ideal for the grand kids to run around and play both indoors and outside in the gardens. it was great to have great grand parents, grand parents, parents, kids and the dog in one place. great family atmosphere and get together.

plates to big for microwave or microwave to small. 13.5 tog winter duvet's in summer were to hot and you were not able to change for lighter sheets.

What a fantastic place, we had a wonderful time here and would visit again. Place was warm and cosy and very clean upon arrival, with all that you could need if you hadn't had chance to pick up any food at the shops (coffee, tea, wine, milk & even soup). The house is beautifully styled and the log burning fires were perfect for the rainy, cold days of which we had a few. We had good response to our messages even over the Easter BH weekend, they did everything to ensure we had a good time.

The Barn and Chaff House was very comfortable. We stayed with our son and young family so the spiral staircases were a bit tricky for the two year old but we were able to cope. The house was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. The garden was great for the kids and the dog - totally enclosed. There is not a lot to do in the village but The beaches at Freshwater West and Broad Haven were absolutely stunning. The pub at stackpole was fantastic. We had a great time and it's a good base to explore from.

The enclosed garden was great. Our dogs really enjoyed running around. Plenty of parking spaces. Room for 3 cars. The verandas were fab. Plenty of room on both verandas. The property was large enough for plenty of people and very cosy. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus.

The only downside was the little bit of road going to the property was quite bumpy and the cold water tap wasn’t working in the main bathroom shower but could be easily rectified.

Self-catering perfect for us. Location brilliant. Host fantastic.

Beautifully restored home to luxury standard. Out of the places we visited Laugharne was the best. We loved the town, the estuary, the history and the people - all so friendly. Hope to be able to return sometime.

Fantastic location and lovely property. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. It was lovely and warm and spacious. A special thank you to Sammie from Great Welsh Escapes who responded to our one minor issue at 10pm on a Saturday evening and ensured it was all sorted by the following morning - that shows fantastic commitment and customer service.

An amazing house with huge amounts of character set in beautiful gardens in an outstanding location. Laugharne is a great little town with lots of amenities and only a short drive to Pendine Sands. Jac's communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommended!

We stayed for 3 nights here as an extended family. Welcome pack on arrival - House had everything we needed as a large group (10). Games facilities were amazing - all in a self contained area and hot tub put to good use overlooking beautiful Welsh scenery.

We had such a lovely stay at the Cors, the location was beautiful and very secluded. The house inside was stunning and absolutely spotless, and the kids found it all very exciting. Jac was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions I had, and we will definitely return in the future. I would highly recommend The Cors to anyone looking for somewhere to stay with a large group!

The house is beautiful and view from the conservatory was stunning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maesteg Cottage, it was very well equipped and we found everything that we needed plus a lovely welcome pack including Welsh cakes, wine and coffee. The cottage has a few quirky features including an unusual upstairs toilet!! It is a very comfortable and homely property, particularly the beds, we all slept very well. There is also a beautiful enclosed garden on different layers with a secluded spot at the top where you can sit and enjoy the view in the evening sun. The location is good for visiting a variety of places and we enjoyed Laugharne, Tenby, Cardigan, Gwbert and Tresaith Beach and waterfall, all within around 35 minutes travel by car from the cottage. We would stay again.

Amazing place to stay if you love being away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect location for walking and exploring! The house itself is also amazing inside and out can't wait to go again!

Wildhaven is a wonderful place to pause and reset. This was our second stay, and hopefully not our last! It really feels like it's in the heart of the Beacons National Park with nothing around by sheep, beautiful scenery, and wild horses. I can't recommend it enough.

We had a couple of hiccups with the house, but the hosts communicated well and they were resolved efficiently.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful and lovely to be among the farm. Swimming pool and Sauna were excellent. The boathouse was lovely and cosy. Just great.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxed time at the cottage.
The place is full of character, clean, comfortable and cosy. Spacious and nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is super equipped with everything needed to feel home away from home.
The best feature of the house is its location. The house is in a remote location deep in the Welsh countryside with the most amazing sunsets. Wonderful for us who needed some tranquility and rest.
We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Very well appointed house with all mod cons. Tons of parking space - and an easy woodland amble down to the metropolis that is Laugharne.
Great village stores for all the things you forgot and a friendly neighbour (we couldn’t track down) who let in the grocery delivery which pitched up 24 hours early!

My only comment is to take care on the local roads as some become impassable without warning.
Be careful using Waze!
Otherwise it was a great place, lovely hot-tub and very comfortable.

Beautiful cottage, walkable to several pubs with food and a convenience store. Very quiet area, nice walks. Quite steep stairs with no handrail worth being aware of if any mobility issues.

Fantastic property in a fabulous location. Perfect for a family holiday. Accommodation has the old fashioned cottage appeal but with all the mod cons. Close to several sites of natural beauty. Don't miss out on the local pubs. we will be visiting again.

The property is over 3 floors and offered loads of space for a group of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and we were able to travel by car to a number of local attractions. We will probably book again in the future.

The house was clean and well presented with a lovely garden. The location was fab being just a 15 min walk from the beach, restaurants and shops of saundersfoot. We had a lovely stay and would definitely want to return.
