We had the best week at The Cors. We had everything we needed to hand. The house was perfect, the space and gardens were ideal. The communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We loved visiting the nearby beaches and little village. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Wildhaven. The cottage is beautifully situated with incredible views. The cottage itself is exceptionally well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious. Very dog-friendly. t's a perfect base for exploring the Black Mountains. We highly recommend it.

Attended for 2 nights as a valentines gift for my girlfriend. Absolutely beautiful location, owners were so friendly and the house was absolutely immaculate not a spec of dust. Everything we needed and more lots of amenities house is in a great location hottub was so clean the house smelt amazing. Can't praise this place enough. Extremely reasonable price we will be coming back for sure!

We had a lovely break in Saint Clear's. The house was very clean and as described and the hosts were very accommodating.

Cleanliness and all facilities were available.

The neighbours parking outside the gates, it’s a very narrow gateway into the property. Most nights were impossible to get in.

The boathouse is a lovely little escape with complete peace, along with being close to local towns and beaches. The place is as described and as you see in the photos. The private pool and sauna is such a nice addition too, which our son loved. Our dogs were so excited by the lake and cows, and wanted to always been outside in the enclosed area.
Great Welsh Escapes sent through clear instructions before hand, and proactively messaged me on day 1 to ensure I had everything I needed. This was a nice touch!
Richard, the owner and farmer, was super welcoming and made an effort to come out when we arrived to show us around personally. When we had a small issue I text Richard and he walked down almost immediately to help. He also spent a little while answering all my silly questions about dairy farming and his cows!!
We certainly plan to go back in the future and stay again :)

The position was ontop of a hill which was ok for the time we were staying but it would be very difficult in the busy season

This property is ideally located next to the grocery shop, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. Especially marvelous was the the view of the massive castle and relics across from the property and dusk light reflecting off the castle walls that we could see from upstairs windows. The locals were very friendly and happy to fill us in on curiously spelt Welsh place names and local information. The property was exceptionally well presented and clean with car parking right out the front

This is a really special house with very happy memories in every room. The facilities are good and the unique garden is spectacular. The loveliest way of experiencing the beauty of Laugharne and the surrounding area. Perfect for hosting a reunion or a dinner party as we did to great success. Brilliant weekend - many thanks.

Lack of parking at property could have been an issue but we had no problems parking in the small, nearby carpark.

Everything was perfect, fully stocked kitchen even down to tea coffee and sugar plus a welcome hamper! the games room was a great addition perfect for the kids! ..and us 😆. Hot tub was brilliant! would love to go back again!!

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

Great place. Very clean. Felt at home. Only issue was that for a 3 bedroom home it only had 1 bathroom, albeit a very nice bathroom. Hosts were very responsive and answered questions quickly. I'd recommend this place again.

Ros's house is absolutely beautiful. She's done such a fabulous job with the interiors. The views are also amazing. It was so peaceful. The beds and duvets were really comfortable. We had such a lovely stay here and we would love to come back. Ros got back to us very quickly if we had any questions and kindly let us check out later. She was a brilliant host.

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

The location was ideal for exploring on foot and further afield, and every morning I was wowed anew by the view. I would highly recommend Great Welsh Escapes. Great house. Spacious corridors and rooms. The main living room, the kitchen and one of the big rooms are great. Clean, comfortable. We couldn't use on the main living areas as it was under construction so they provided a hot tub outside. It's got great views and nice surroundings. Temperature was a bit funny at the beginning but it balanced after 24 hours. Great indoors fire! Very good communication and available. Great price for such space! Highly recommended.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

A privilege to stay in this arts & crafts period house full of eclectic art and decor and to enjoy the imaginatively sculptured garden full of secret areas and massive plants. It felt like we had paid an entrance fee to look around and had to remind ourselves that we were actually staying here!

Amazing and beautiful grand old house... renovated to a very high standard with fabulous bathrooms and beautiful furniture, ornaments and paintings throughout. The village of Laugharne is lovely, with lots of Interesting shops, an estuary to explore and an old castle.

One of the best Airbnb stays ever. perfect for a large group. we stayed for 3 days, but wished we had come for a week, just to maximise what the home has to offer. Highly recommended

We often visit Laugharne and wood happily return to Min Yr Afon. Perfect location being walking distance to the castle, the beach, shops, restaurant and bars. Good sized accommodation for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized bedrooms. thoughtfully looked after and well maintained.

Very warm and cosy. spotlessly clean and very well equipped. the bathroom door to the ensuite needs some attention as its very difficult to operate. someone else mentioned a smell of damp downstairs and we did notice this too although a quick blast of opening the downstairs patio doors helped a lot. we would absolutely stay again.

Superb location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, castle and walks by the estuary. Outstanding garden, perfect for a peaceful morning coffee and spacious enough for badminton and hide and seek! Lots to do indoors for a multi-generational family. Living the dream!

Myself, my daughter, husband and dog have all enjoyed a much overdue weekend break away in Laugharne in this beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and though the house was stunning. The location is super convenient to all the amenities in town, including a lovely costal walk for the dog. The tv room with large couch was absolutely perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evenings at home whilst our baby slept upstairs. The outdoor area was such a treat during this amazing weather we have experienced. The bbq was perfect too. Thank you so much for having us, the house was immaculate and we look forward to coming to stay again soon

Wonderful week at Maes y Mel. GWE were well organised and efficient, checking if we'd arrived safely, later if we were settling in, and later in the week before leaving. Our hostess, Buddig was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable and set in rural bliss. Highly recommended!!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely large bedroom and bathroom, lounge smaller than expected but cosy and comfortable. Double glazing kept the room quiet. Lots of places to eat and drink. Would definitely stay again.

The Cors is really a very special place in the fabulous town of Laugharne. Close to two very good pubs, an excellent Thai restaurant and a good Deli. What makes the holiday is the house with its fabulous grounds. Clean ,well equipped, very generous welcome pack and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this property and booking company. The property is a great size for multigenerational holiday, 2 separate living rooms as well as a kitchen-breakfast room and separate dining room and 4 good size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has mobility adaptations including walk in shower room and stairlift should you need it. It’s in a great location for exploring Carmarthen town centre and amenities and numerous beaches in the county and across the boarder into Pembrokeshire. The property itself was in great condition clearly renovated and modernised sympathetically with everything you could need including a hot tub. The owner was on hand and friendly but not intrusive and keen to resolve any issues. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

Our 2nd visit. As we enjoyed it so much the last time. Great views, lovely little village, handy location for both long walks with the dog or shorter walks with the kids. Hot tub was maintained daily. And the whole house was presented really well. Recommended.

A lovely cottage nestled around farm lands all around. we had a great time away from the usual hustle. Having exclusive access to the pool was a bonus for our stay. Certainly worth the money!

A beautiful home in the stunning Brecon Beacons national park. The perfect spot to use as a base for walks or to simply enjoy the space and relax in the serenity

A clean, bright and airy bungalow with great views and space that works well for families. Thoughtfully well equipped. Plenty of storage for all those waterproofs and walking boots. It's the last of 3 bungalows in a quiet country lane, very peaceful in the evenings. There's a cute little summer house at the top of the well kept garden from where you can see all the way to the Dylan Thomas Boathouse on the shore of the estuary. Great beaches nearby, especially picturesque Llansteffan. Awesome coasteering 45 mins away at Stackpole Quay with Morfa Bay Adventure. Laugharne itself is missing a good foodie pub, unfortunately Brown's Hotel and the Penderyn Restaurant are currently closed to the public. But go further afield and you can find great food at the Stackpole Inn, The Warren in Carmarthen and the Daffodil Inn near Llandysul.

I would highly recommend a stay at Gwalia house. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 sons and their partners during the Easter break. The house is beautiful throughout and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, which worked well for us as a family. Location is also great. The house is exactly like the pictures and I would not hesitate to book this place again. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Our first holiday since our son was born almost 3 years ago - the property was clean, spacious, and just about everything we needed for our long weekend with our family. We visited 3 beaches and had a brilliant time - would definitely return!

We had a thoroughly relaxing break and enjoyed Pendine. However, what made the break even more special was Ty'r Ardd. It was what we wanted and more. Accessible, exceptionally clean, comfortable, perfect size for a family of 4 & dog and the hosts were so kind and lovely.
We had an issue with the TV. The host came to the property to have a look, arranged an engineer and had it fixed within 12hrs!!!

Would 100% recommend and will 100% stay again.

A beautiful and well equipped house perfect for relaxing family stays perfectly located and close to great restaurants, walks and all the amenities you'd need. The views are incredible. You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

this is a very comfortable family house with wonderful views over Camarthen Bay . A spacious garden room that means you can sit and enjoy watching the weather coming in from the sea.

Absolutely beautiful property in a breathe taking location. A real 'off the grid' feel without feeling like you are completely isolated. Incredible walks on the door step and a lovely cosy but very private property. The wood burners were a real highlight. Great proactive and very responsive communication from the host. We felt right at home and enjoyed the thoughtful touches and masses of local information provided. We will definitely be returning (asap I hope)!

Having just returned home from a 3 night stay at Footprints apartment in Saundersfoot, we would highly recommend this to anyone. It was 5 star rating, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and easy walking distance to the town and harbour. We are looking forward to staying there again in the foreseeable future.

Excellent location. Ten minute walk down hill to beach and amenities.

Everything was excellent. Accommodation , location for beach, restaurants, shops.

It wouldn't be suitable for anybody with a disability, as the hill may be a problem and we had steps up to first floor apartment.

Awesome Taf is a great location to be when visiting carmerthen , it is actually withing 25 mins drive to Oakwood theme park, 24mins to Dinosaur park, Heathertons etc and 3.5 miles to Pembroke Castle and very close to McDonald's. The host was very nice, the house was 100percent very clean. Very comfortable felt like home.

Just an astonishing house, I think the most beautiful place I've ever stayed - the photos, beautiful as they are, don't quite do it justice. The restoration work on this old Georgian house has to be seen to be believed. Our teenagers loved the pool, the outside area and barbecue are wonderful, the bedrooms are breathtaking and very comfortable. Laugharne is wonderful and very friendly, and there are beautiful walks on your doorstep. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Un bel endroit pour des vacances loin de la canicule de notre sud ouest français.

We had a great couple of days at Wildhaven. It was an ideal combination of remote, long walks from the door, quiet, yet an easy 20 minutes drive from a few villages with pubs and shops. The dogs loved it too! The house itself was fantastic, really great facilities and furniture. Everything was perfect!

Sunrise Super View , Hot Tub

We had a fantastic staycation experience!

Firstly, the good view we experienced was stunning, especially we witnessed a sunrise you had never seen before. The fact that i am specially mentioning it as it left a strong impression on me .

Additionally, the facility good amenities, including a spacious and clean home and a hot tub. These types of features can make all the difference in creating a relaxing and enjoyable staycation experience.

Overall, it was very positive and happy time we spent with family.
Thanks again as this stay will remain in our and my 6 year old girl memories forever.

Sunny Bank is an outstanding place to stay for a short or long break as it is remarkably well equipped with everything you require.

Immaculate throughout, extremely spacious making it easily accessible for disabled and wheelchair users .

Outside, the gardens are accessible, there are seating areas with extensive views across the countryside.

A hot tub to relax in the day or night ..just perfect.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the
"Welcome Hamper" and Fresh goods milk ,juice eggs etc .
This was a delightful thought and very much appreciated. Thank you Huw and Hazel for all your help.

We had a wonderful time in this modern looking cosy house. Local people were very friendly and helpful. Location is great, not too far to Pembrokeshire Coast and Tenby town. Laugharne is a very peaceful place, we did not suffer from any noises at all. Such a shame we could not visit the local Castle as we did not know about pre-booking and Tuesday/Wednesday they are closed. In overall we can fully recommend this place and Great Welsh Escapes. 5/5

We spent a relaxing week at Robert and Jill’s spacious and homely cottage. I was impressed with how clean it was which was reassuring given Covid. Everything was pristine, from sparkling wine glasses to polished cutlery. There were some lovely thoughtful touches like a vase of fresh flowers and two bottles of wine and fresh milk on our arrival. The kitchen dining area is a generous space and wonderful for family meals. The patio space is a real sun trap and has great quality chairs and a large glass table and umbrella. I’d thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage and the friendly hosts for a restful week in Wales.

A nice stay at the property, great location nice and close to the town as long as you don’t mind walking up a hill after a day out (we had a pram and found it hard in the heat but didn’t put us off walking!).
Considering it’s in a residential area it was really peaceful! Would be nice if things were included like shampoo/soap etc for the price you pay per night and some parts of the property are a little tired compared to the photos (mainly the upstairs bathroom and garden table/chairs etc).
We brought 2 dogs for the final night and there’s a great enclosed garden for them. We asked ahead of time about the BBQ but when we got there it looked a bit battered so we ended up buying our own to use, maybe a new one would be good!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

A 30th birthday trip of dreams!
The Great House in Laugharne was everything and more. Check in was super easy with a key/lockbox.
The heated pool was incredible, when we first arrived we all ran around looking at ALL the incredible bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces.
We felt so bougie and smiled, laughed, played games, ate, drank the whole weekend it was perfect.
The Ferryman Delicatessen is a stones throw away from the house and has a wonderful selection of delicious food we visited a few times!
Wouldn’t change a thing, amazing stay, I’d love to go back.

Very clean, bathrooms were spotless and well equipped with two showers, one downstairs and one upstairs in the family bathroom and with a bath. Beds were very comfortable, with clean linen and bath towels. Well equipped kitchen, with everything needed during our stay. Thank you for the bubbles and biscuits, they were very nice.
I would definitely try to book this place again when I return to the area.
Don't need to do anything to this place, perfect for that warm homely feeling.

We enjoyed our stay in Laugharne. The accommodation was clean and really well equipped - big plus for a blender, which you dont often get in Airbnb houses! The garden is very small and no garden furniture, but that was ok for us as we spent a lot of time by the sea and travelling around. There were games and toys for kids, which was great.
The castle and Laugharne seafront are lovely, but you do need a car to get around the surrounding areas as you may want to visit other places - Laugharne is small for a longer stay. There are no shops nearby, just newsagents so youll need to do shopping elsewhere. On another hand there's an amazing pizza restaurant nearby called Ty Glo. The pizzas and sundaes were really nice and the service and playlist were awesome! If visiting Laugharne, I'd recommend this accommodation for a family or even a group of friends.

Beautifully restored home to luxury standard. Out of the places we visited Laugharne was the best. We loved the town, the estuary, the history and the people - all so friendly. Hope to be able to return sometime.

We have stayed in these apartments quite a few times. Why? Great location and easy to reach other locations. Very well maintained apartments, Cliff Haven is no exception. I would recommend it.

We are a family of 5 and the house was definitely spacious enough for us. The views are breathtaking and the area is just so beautiful. We took time to enjoy the peace and the beautiful stars at night. The castle wonderful to see and the people were so welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. The cottage was very clean with lovely interior design. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. Fantastic location, quiet but within a few minutes to the hub of the town.

A great few days away at this fab apartment. Very well equipped, clean and tidy and only a short walk to the centre.

One of our favourite places to stay ever. Everything about it was wonderful. The dining room was our favourite. Although a family holiday, eating our evening meal in such a room, we felt we need to dress up, such was the grandeur :0)

Never before have we booked and the wonderful pictures where exactly what you got- In fact reality was better! Wonderful in every way lovely owner welcomed us with a kind message. We had some poor weather but the apartment meant that didn’t matter as so cozy and comfy we cooked some great meals and all the fabulous facilities were a home from home. Will look to book again!

Beautiful house in a fabulous setting. It is so dark and quiet, some of the best nights sleep we have had. The house is very well equipped and the garden is huge! We really enjoyed our stay and Jac is a great host

Lovely cottage in the picturesque village of Laugharne with some great pubs/restaurants on the doorstep and lovely beaches nearby. A clean, well maintained cottage with courtyard garden.

We stayed for 3 nights here as an extended family. Welcome pack on arrival - House had everything we needed as a large group (10). Games facilities were amazing - all in a self contained area and hot tub put to good use overlooking beautiful Welsh scenery.

Absolutely beautiful house. Brilliant location. Everything was a stones throw away. Tenby, folly farm, loads of beaches. We had no issues what so ever. Check in was easy with the key box on location. Comfy beds. Ideal range cooker for large families staying. Would definately recommend and if we were to return to the area (which we probably will) we would try to book this house again.

Our stay at great Welsh was great, we enjoyed our stay including clean and tidy bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful garden, and amazing view. We also enjoyed hot tub. There were lots of things for kids and other things to play sports. Also host left us many things to eat and drink. Overall it was a perfect house and I recommend it if anyone wants to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host.

Lovely bungalow, peaceful. Fantastic views. Great location to go site seeing. All close by. Kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Spacious . The veranda was lovely with comfortable chairs to sit out and chill.

Wildhaven was the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. The views were absolutely stunning and the cottage was large and beautifully furnished. The beds were really comfortable and each bathroom luxurious. The garden was large, fenced, but sadly not secure enough for a determined Cocker Spaniel. It's isolation meant the only sounds were the mountain sheep and the early morning wake up call from the local crows. Our host, Jess was regularly in contact which was so helpful. Our week at Wildhaven has had such a positive impact on us that we will be back next year.

Fabulous house with everything you'd need. Lots of space. Great decor. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking. 5 minute walk from Laugharne so perfect location. Couldn't ask for more. All 8 of us were very happy with our accommodation. Highly recommended. Thanks Michelle.

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

Everything you need is within a five minute walk and the views are stunning.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

Lovely cottage in laugharne King Street. Very comfortable, kitchen had everything I needed. Lovely outside area, bedroom beautifully decorated. Bathroom lovely with huge shower unit. I really enjoyed my stay. Lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting on arrival was a very nice extra. I had a lovely stay here and will definitely book it again. Thank you!

We had a lovely and relaxing winter stay at the cottage. Despite sub-zero temperatures we stayed nice and cosy thanks to the log burner and under-floor heating downstairs. Paula was very welcoming and friendly, as were the two farm dogs. We enjoyed exploring the local area and saw Curlews and a Golden Plover murmuration on our walks around Laugharne and Pendine. Would definitely come again.
