Host’s was lovely, bungalow was cozy,warm, clean, they thought of everything , everything was perfect!

We have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at Awel Taf and couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfect location to accommodate family for a wedding, excellent facilities and the owners were close at hand if we needed anything at all. Loved the welcome gifts which were an unexpected bonus 😀. Thank-you Gillian and Rob for a wonderful stay.

Firstly this place is just so amazing, stunning inside, very clean, really good communication, planty of space for our dog, and much more good things I definitely recommend this place and planning already to come back soon.

Can not say enough about how amazing this stay was! From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and right at home. Hazel was very welcoming and made sure we were ok and had everything we needed. She also gave some great recommendations on where to go to eat and and explore! <br/>We stayed near valentines and on arrival was a beautiful welcome basket and valentines balloons, along with a valentines teddy! Such a lovely surprise! <br/>The cottage was immaculate and all the little homely touches really made it even more special. <br/>I could go on all day. This was a beautiful home provided by lovely owners. It was clean, bright and there were delightful personal touches like wee chocolates for the kids, fresh eggs and honey plus a high hair and beds for the wee ones, complete with cuddly toys (which wasn’t expected!) I’d definitely stay there again. The owners had a cute doggie that was pals with our dog too. We were all sad to leave. Highly recommend the peaceful country stay.

This was a beautiful hidden gem, that simply didn’t disappoint. Not only did it feel like a home from home, but after such a relaxing weekend, we didn’t want to leave.

My mother and I stayed at Oysterlow for the week and we had an amazing stay! The location was gorgeous, the cottage was cozy and comfortable! Paula was an incredibly warm and genuine host! We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to Wales.

We had a lovely time. Really liked the 2 lounges, when I got fed up of the Mrs I used the other lounge and could watch what I wanted on the TV. The double bed was quite firm which wasn’t to our liking. There were a few general maintenance and cleanliness issues but these didn’t affect our stay. The location was stunning and peaceful, we saw more tractors than cars 😀 Hazel visited us on the first evening to make sure we were all settled and gave us some good recommendations. We really enjoyed stargazing while sat in the hot tub and the visits every morning from the farm cat. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could want and need as well as some basic items in the cupboards (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, spices etc)

Peaceful and beautiful.

This was a beautiful place to stay with a fantastic view and everything we needed for our 4 nights. Extremely comfortable and lots of little extras that made it so homely (with the generous welcome goodies too) - the whole house was so clean especially the kitchen. The garden was a lovely space although our pooch Poppy prefers grass - thank goodness for the beach! Pendine is ok - the beach is stunning but the area around it is a bit shabby. The shops are a complete rip off (watch out for out of date goods & also chancing on pricing!) and don’t use the Fish & Chippery - exorbitant prices and for a large portion at the price they charge it’s a disgrace. Go to Amroth for lovely cafes and friendlier folk - plus the beach is fab there too. We had a great base to explore from and would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to explore this part of South Wales.

Lovely apartment in the middle of Laugharne. Perfect for a short break exploring the area. <br/>The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and perfect accommodation for my wife and I plus our young toddler. Comms and instructions from our host were great, with lots of clear info on the place and the surrounding area.

Visiting family, it was the perfect location for us, loved it 👌

Jess was very responsive and helpful. Our son got very high fever on the last day and Emily was very kind to extend our check out by a whole hour. The house in itself is gorgeous and extremely clean just as the pictures. However, in regards to the location of the house, it’s not close to either the beach or the castle unlike the impression we got from the pictures posted. It’s in the middle of a farm residential area. Our son quite enjoyed waking up to the mooing of cows but the stench of the cow manure does waft through the house if you open the doors and the windows. All in all, we did enjoy our stay at the house immensely.

We soon settled in & felt very relaxed the whole time. The beds were very comfy & all slept very well. The bathroom/ensuite were lovely & showers excellent. We never got bored of looking at the view. The location was perfect to walk into Tenby centre.

My little family had the most enjoyable stay. Location was amazing, walking distance to the town, bars, restaurants, lovely walks and the beach. View from the apartment is what we will most remember, watching the waves and the people coming and going. Apartment was comfortable and clean, plenty of space for a family of 3. Photos don’t really do it justice. Would definitely return.

A really nice, well presented property. Spotlessly clean, with all amenities provided. Wonderful shower will plenty of hot water. Nice, fully enclosed courtyard garden which our dogs made full use of. The surrounding countryside and beach is perfect The owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Beautiful converted barn. Kitchen has everything you need. We took some of our bits and bobs but they were not needed. Welcome hamper was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if they are after a relaxing stay. Please thank Don & Daniela for our lovely chocolates.

Fantastic location. Well equipped flat with everything that one could want for a weeks stay. Most outstanding factor was the view over the harbour.

We had a really lovely stay here perfect base for us with a young family. We visited Saundersfoot and Tenby mainly. It was great to have a washing machine after beach days!

Lovely few days at the Old school house. Great layout, spacious open plan living upstairs with a well equipped kitchen and perfect bedroom set up downstairs. We really appreciated having 3 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms, a treat. Magnificent sun room with bi-fold doors was a special additional space. <br/>We would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent stay.
Direction given were easy to follow.
upon arrival we had a card and hamper waiting for us on the table which was definitely a nice touch.
The cottage was spotless clean and had every possible thing you can think of to make our stay comfortable. we felt at home straight away.
The host, Hazel was easily reachable and so very friendly.
10 mins drive in to town and 10 mins away from the beach and castle. in a very quiet and peaceful area.
highlight was the hot tub.
I will definitely be visiting again.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

Very nice house, freshly renovated in the stunning location. Everything is done with a great taste. Location is perfect to explore the South Welsh.

Absolutely beautiful property with everything you could possibly need away from home.Although it was next to a working farm it was very peaceful and no noise at all.
Situated on MOD land but we had no issues with access.
Hosts were very responsive when we contacted them regarding early access and EV charging .
We would definitely recommend if it’s peace and quiet you are after.

We have nothing but praise for Lloret. The position is amazing with a beautiful vista of Laugharne and the castle. The property is extremely well presented and offers everything you need. Quite frankly we found it sad to leave as we enjoyed it so much. We will most definitely be returning at some point.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Awel Taf. The house was spotlessly clean, had all amenities for a week’s stay. This place is very well placed with a 15 min drive from Carmarthen and also not far from beaches in South Wales. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

Great apartment with lovely balcony with great views.had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bank with two children, the bungalow is lovely. It feels like everything is brand-new and we are the first people to stay there, everything was so clean!
We loved:
- The hot tub!
- The fluffy white towels
- The cleanliness
- The location
- The unexpected welcome hamper!
- The views
- The board games for the kids
There is loads to do in the area, we were here for a week and went to:
- Folly Farm
- Local beaches which are all fabulous, especially Llansteffan with the fish & chips
- The National Bird of Prey Centre
- Pembrey Country Park
- Gwili Steam Railway
- Tenby
I highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place, really well located, and the hosts Hazel and High are so nice and have such a great attention to detail.

The accommodation was as described in the listing. Spacious and comfortable with every amenity. In an excellent location for a peaceful stay and easy access to all the surrounding areas and the holiday destinations farther afield.

Really great family stay for 7 adults, 3 children and a dog. Plenty of room inside and outside the property. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely quiet location with ample parking. The pool was a great feature of our stay and even better with the timeslots for private swimming sessions. We will hopefully be back next year!

we enjoyed a fantastic stay in Llanstefan. beautiful location, a couple of great pubs and a lovely little pizza parlour. the house was clean, spacious and well stocked, just what we needed. highly recommended!

Beautiful house and location! Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions. Lots of things to do in the area and perfectly situated between the Brecon Beacons and pembrokshire. Only small thing I would say was that there was no tea bags, coffee was limited, no olive oil - Little things like this would make life much easier and don’t cost a lot! As a family we all loved our stay and will hopefully return. The house is beautiful and has a lovely feel to it. The heated pool was a huge bonus and was used everyday. We all slept well in the enormous very comfortable beds and we ate extremely well due to the very well equipped kitchen. The village is lovely and the amenities such as restaurant and wine bar friendly and of good quality. Will also mention the lovely lady in the gift shop who has some lovely items in. In all we had a lovely stay and would love to revisit in the future. The information and updates received prior to our stay was also excellent. Thank you for a lovely holiday. My only complaint is that the week went too quickly!!!!

The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved staying at Beudy. The beautifully converted barn looks even better in real life than the pictures. The kitchen is so well equipped, hot tub super reliable and comfortable, outdoor space is stunning and so well thought out, decor throughout space is so well curated, parking easy, location fabulous and hosts friendly and also allow for plenty of privacy. I fully recommend staying here :)

We had been before so everything ran like clockwork. Ou r only complaint was that the big ceiling lights were covered in dust and the fridge is very small and not easy to access but we never the less loved it as much as the first time. Almost perfect.

Middlelands is in a truly peaceful location, at the end of a gravelled track with just one other holiday cottage nearby. It has a wonderful homely feel to it, but one made comfortable and welcoming to guests. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Our grandchildren loved the bunk beds. The woodburners were laid ready to light if needed. Sitting outside for meals by the back garden with a lovely view was a particular treat.

A fabulous apartment with breathtaking views. Inside is high class hotel standard. Owners are super friendly. Great cardio workout walking or running up the hill too!! Added bonus! 100% recommend this property

This is a superior home from home and then some! It boasts fabulous accommodation for a family or without children.
There are the most amazing walks to be taken around the property with glorious countryside views.
And then there is the hydro-pool - what a luxury - great for relaxing ur power swimming.
The parking is next to the cottage.
Highly recommend.

As a family of 6 with two you ger chikdren and two teenagers this has been the perfect holiday home for us. It's been spacious and comfortable for all. Its beautifully decorated and maintained and resourced to a very high standard. Communication throughout our stay has been amazing. We have loved morning coffee on the patio overlooking the views of the estuary and nights with the hot tub. Thank you so much for a lovely place home from home. Very thankful we chose here over other places.

We enjoyed our short stay at Sunnybank. The accommodation is very homely & has everything you could need. Lovely hamper & card was left for our arrival 🥰 so thoughtful! Very friendly host & fabulous hot tub with views. We loved an evening soak - stargazing 🌟🤩

The house is spotless, and nicely decorated. It's easy to access and efficiently organised. We had some initial problems getting the heating to work due to low pressure in the boiler but this was quickly resolved. It was convenient to be able to bring our dog, and the location itself is excellent for easy access to Tenby, Saundersfoot and nearby beaches. 5pm does seem quite late for a check in time - perhaps this could be more flexible?

A picturesque guest house at the end of the street with everything you need. The associated farm is very quiet and the hostess extremely polite. She has a good sense of aesthetic design and has created beautiful flower beds.
We felt very, very comfortable.

Lovely spacious bungalow, with the added benefit of an annexe. This enabled us as a large family to spend quality time together. The property was clean & tidy with all utilities needed, the garden was wonderful for the kids and safe. The village was a short walk away and had a handy convenient store. Lots of activities within a 40 minute drive and Pembroke Castle was amazing.
Pendine sands is a 10 minute drive away and is a stunning beach.
Would definitely recommend this holiday destination.

Beautiful house to stay in. Very cosy and my girls Loved having the pool to ourselves, which is a bonus. The host even put a safety gate up for us before we arrived.

We had a great few days at the house. The downstairs rooms are vast and gave us a lot of space. The garden is lovely - the cherry blossom was so beautiful! We did lots of interesting trips. We’d love to come back one day.

My sister and her family stayed here over Christmas so they could be close to the rest of the family. It was absolutely perfect. Walking distance into St Clears and close to amenities. The facilities were great with everything thought of for a comfortable stay. Lovely cosy log burners and traditional features added to the atmosphere in the
house. They would definitely stay in Cartrefle again.

This was a brilliant property, with all the comforts you would want and a very well equipped kitchen. It has very generous sized social areas and kitchen for 8 people and it was great how close to the estuary and castle it was too. Would definitely visit again!

My family loved Lloret. The property was clean, easy to find and comfortable to relax in. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the hot tub was fantastic. Overall we would book again in the future. Great Escapes were very responsive and resolved any queries we had proactively and within good time.

The house was modern and spotlessly clean. There are two sitting rooms ideal for large groups. There were games and puzzles but the place was tidy and not cluttered. We could not think of a thing that wasn't provided. The kitchen also had every utensil you would need, a large fridge freezer and a stove with separate grill. There were great views from the garden. The WiFi was brilliant. Gave the location one less star as it is a twenty minute drive to a shop. The location though is beautiful, beach, castle, village and walks. There is a small shop which stocks essentials and is also a coffee shop. We had coffee and cake there which was delicious. Also two pubs which we did not go in. We did not have the best of weather and it was out of season however we felt very cozy in the house. Would definately return.

The Cottage, Laugharne.
The house was absolutely perfect for us (11 of us), loads of room for us all and the dog.
The uninterrupted views of the estuary, from the garden and bedrooms, were amazing. The house was 5*.

Laugharne is a great place to holiday, the village itself having pubs, restaurants and tea rooms with loads to do within a short distance.

The view was exceptional. I'm going to miss watching the tide, boats and sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped. The microwave did get me scratching my head for a while, but thankfully the manual was available. This is not a complaint, other guests might benefit from a copy of one of the manual pages in your Welcome Folder. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

a calm and cosy place after long walks on the costal path. The house is a little bit covered the sound of the sea was barely to hear. The directions to the house are clearly described and it's very good signed, so or was no problem to find it. We had the best stay at Wildhaven. It is totally private with a great enclosed garden. The walks from the doorstep were stunning, you could spend a week there and not have to go out in the car! We loved seeing the sheep on the hills, as well as the birds of prey and hares. The cottage is incredibly comfortable and clean, we really didn’t want to leave! It’s a great place to stay whether you’re alone, a couple, a family or with your dog. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday!

The location is great with it only being a 15 minute walk into Tenby town. <br/>The views are amazing, the house was lovely and the garden was a good size.<br/>Check in was extremely easy and the host was very responsive and helpful with all requests. <br/>The downstairs en-suite blinds looking on to the garden were broken with some slats missing. <br/>The floor by the kitchen was raised which presented a trip hazard particularly for the kids. <br/>Plants on the path down the garden are over growing on to the path a little. <br/>Overall an amazing stay and would definitely recommend, well worth the money.

We had one clear night and the blanket of stars in the sky was magical. The WiFi was good and phone reception ok. We’d recommend staying!

Really well equipped home (aside from no dishcloths or washing up sponges) with everything you could need - we managed to cook a full roast dinner.
Plenty of space with 2 bathrooms serving the 4 bedrooms.
The living areas were ideal for 2 families with 4 teenage children between them. Kitchen with sitting area and log burner was cosy and a great space.
Utility room was great for the dog and table tennis in the garage kept the teens entertained (Even if it was a bit nippy)
Overall the house was clean. Good sized bath towels (sheets rather than standard towel size) but bath mats would have been a welcome addition. Bedding was comfy.
Fabulous welcome pack and Christmas tree made a warm welcome and we had a great break over the new year.

I really enjoyed my time at The Boathouse. A very beautiful part of the Welsh countryside. The company and the owner were very accommodating with recommendations as to where to go and solutions. It very much served it’s purpose!

Steep drive to the property.

We had a great first experience of Pembrokeshire whilst staying here.
The bungalow was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed opening the large bifolds and watching the sunset.
The location was great and allowed us to explore the local beaches and further afield. We were very lucky with the weather!
Our only recommendations would be to review the quality of cooking utensils. We had to buy a bread knife as the one provided was blunt. I would also suggest some better quality pillows in the master bedroom. We had two pillows in 1 pillowcase case which was uncomfortable.
Besides the couple of recommendations, we had a great stay and would recommend!

Lovely little apartment. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Has everything you could want.<br/>Walkable distance into the village and lots of pubs and cafes to choose from.<br/>Great base for exploring the area.
