Stayed at the Cors Country House for a weekend with my family. The people at Great Welsh Escapes were really helpful in booking the house and recommending activities for us to do over the weekend. I'd happily recommend these guys to anyone else and would use them again in the future. Thanks!

We had a great time. A lot of internal space, well equipped kitchen, a great den/TV room which was very popular with our teenagers and spacious bedrooms. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating options to catch the sun during the day. A private setting and very peaceful.
Just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs, Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. A short drive to the vast Pendine beach. EV charger was very convenient - not many public options in the area.
Would definitely stay there again.

Was a very cosy place to stay. Our dog was a small dog and managed to get under the fence in the garden but within an hour the owners had fixed all of the fence so we were able to let our dog out. That was brilliant that they were so on it and attentive to our needs. We were left to our own plans, but we knew they were there and available should we need them. Had a lovely view and was so quiet and peaceful.

Location allows trips to Pembrokshire / Brecon Beacons / Gower in around ~1h one-way - we found it very convenient.

Beautiful characterful house, with a gorgeous garden. The situation is very peaceful but shops and restaurants/pubs are in easy walking distance. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family party and a small dog (who spent a lot of time on the very welcome dog bed - much bigger than his at home!). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

The house had everything you needed. The doors opened up to the garden and we enjoyed the sunshine and the quiet location.

We didn't use lounge upstairs or sitting room off kitchen.
Wandered if you could adapt the sitting room to a dinning room and use more lounge space where dinning able is. Releasing this for a lounge area means you could use the upstairs lounge as an extra bedroom.

The Old School is a really beautiful building. It was also very clean with lovely fixtures and fittings which made our stay both comfortable and relaxing - the house is in a quiet location near both countryside and the coast. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen well-stocked - we eat in most evenings because of Covid and really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house.

We spent 3 nights at Mel and Martins beautifully converted space. YG had everything we need to self cater, the garden was absolutely perfect for our dog and the bathtub in the bedroom was just 👌🏽We’ll be back for sure, thanks again for the wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Thank you for letting us stay at this amazing property. A beautiful and well equipped house perfect for relaxing family stays perfectly located and close to great restaurants, walks and all the amenities you'd need. The views are incredible. You can spend hours watching the changing weather and tides over the estuary. The birdlife is fabulous to watch and its a photographer's paradise. Highly recommended.

Superb accommodation and location. Beautifully decorated and furnished, you pay a little more for this type of accommodation, but it really is worth it. My children, normally very fussy, adored their bedrooms and the whole house, which is full of character. Ideally placed within the village, and whilst there is no parking with the property, we never had a problem finding a parking space within a few footsteps, even in the school holidays. Pubs and restaurants are within a stone throw, and all are excellent. It's a very relaxing village, with beautiful walks, and superb beaches within easy travelling distance. We love the area, and will be back.

Lovely location for an extremely soothing break. Well equipped cottage and Robert was kind enough to get kids little games to keep busy when you are retiring after having a day out whether to botanical garden trip or folley farm.
Near by nisa local, fish and chips were handy to pop for a quick snack.
House was very clean and plenty of room for a family of six. We shall visit again and recommend this place.

Beautiful house with a very high level of comfort and well equipped with everything needed. Excellent location. Unfortunately the Covid situation means that some businesses are not fully open or open at all at the moment but those that were, were very friendly. Great to see that the preventative measures are being taken very seriously both in Laugharne and West Wales generally.

Great Welsh Escapes' "Gwalia" in Laugharne is an amazing house, steeped in history and beautifully decorated. An ideal base from where to explore the fabulous Welsh beaches and countryside, you will return from there recharged and refreshed. Great local restaurants literally on the doorstep mean you can enjoy fantastic food without having to worry about cooking for yourselves, although there is also a small supermarket 2 minute walk away. We have been twice. We will return again.

As for Great Welsh Escapes themselves, they are friendly, easy to contact and responsive. A great outfit that you can trust.

What a super place to stay. The cottage is of a very high standard; right down to the luxury toilet paper! Everything worked perfectly and everything was thought of. It was a joy to stay in the village with the beautiful castle down the road too. The deli two doors down is fantastic. Can’t rate the whole experience highly enough. Thank you.

Wonderful stay, one of the best we’ve had. The cottage is very cozy, has amazing views and has everything you need. We felt like home (I wish my home was like this place though). The stay was very relaxing. It was very easy to find—just click on “open the address in the maps/gogle maps” and it will take you right to the place (we used gogle maps, so the app just received the exact coordinates and led us to the exact spot.) The road at the end was totally fine—no issues at all. A typical countryside road and it’s fairly smooth. We would love to come back one day. The hosts were very responsive.

Llais y Mor in Llansteffan is a gorgeous house with lovely gardens. Would highly recommend this property. Everthing was just perfect.

The accommodation was perfect, the location and town were delightful, and the people so friendly. Can't wait to visit that area of Wales again.

Superb little bolthole. The owners have renovated this place to a very high standard and you can tell that so much love has gone into it with perfect finishing touches. The main bedroom is nothing short of wow!

Me, my wife and my little girl thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Neil and Mel’s place. They were lovely hosts and offered some great local recommendations. Their place was fabulous and it was clear to see how much time and effort has gone in to making the cottage a wonderful place to stay. It was a great base for us to explore the local area.

Our stay at Gwalia House was great. A fabulous house with everything you need. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the village and lots of blustery beach walks a few miles away. I would highly recommend.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! Thank you Jac and Great Welsh Escapes for an amazing stay at The Cors! We have made very special memories and I know for certain I will be returning in the future! Everything about this property is brilliant, I miss it already!

A unique and extremely high quality holiday rental.
Perfect for family and friends to gather together and explore the beautiful Welsh beaches and countryside. Every detail in the house has been carefully considered and beautifully curated. The heated swimming pool and sun terrace are as good if not better than a Mediterranean equivalent. Loved every minute of this holiday in what has been a very challenging year. Thank you.

A beautifully laid out cottage in a lovely area of wales. Well situated for the beach or for exploring Carmarthebshire or Pembrokeshire… or just staying in in comfort. Good sized kitchen with all you’d need and a supportive host.

Perfect cottage in a very secluded location. Host was fantastic, recommended lots of places to go and was really helpful throughout our stay. The private pool was really great but it was the location that was really special so many great places to go. House is perfect for four plus a dog with everything you could possibly need. Was great having our own garden and having access to a big field too. Definitely need ten days next time, too much to see in seven!

The cottage was a lovely, relaxing getaway. The little spa and sauna were great and having exclusive access was fantastic. The woodburner in the lounge was lovely to fire up each evening, especially during the rain & snow, although the cottage was warm enough with just the central heating. Amazingly quiet and beautiful location. It was great to see the geese and chickens wandering around just outside the gate but even more entertaining to have Charlie the peacock strutting along the top of the wall outside the cottage & just outside the cottage door. Great Welsh Escapes were fantastic & sent numerous communications with ideas for places to go & things to do locally, as well as giving information on how to get into the property, contacts should we need assistance and information about check-out.

What a wonderful holiday home, with views to die for from every bedroom and the living area it leaves you wanting for nothing. Beds were comfortable, mattresses were fine, and cushions of various thickness were available. The terrace with the views and hot tub was the star of the show. Hot tub even had Bluetooth speakers we could easily connect too. And there was a charcoal bbq (don’t forget the heat mat) as well.

Only a short up hill walk from Laugharn center. There’s a dog friendly cafe, simply Spa convenience store, and further along is Brown’s Hotel which again was dog friendly, extremely accommodating and had amazing food. We have already recommended and passed the details to a number of friends as this accommodation really is unique and well appointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The host Hazel was so attentive, she came up to ensure we arrived safely. The attention to detail within the home was outstanding. We had a welcome hamper & a bottle of Prosecco with a greeting card. We have a baby & she had made sure there was everything we needed for him even down to baby bath sponges, baby soap & sudocrem!



The hot tub was amazing, all the beds were really comfortable, so much space within the bungalow and it was spotless when we arrived. We could not have asked for a better stay and we will 100% be back when we visit family in Wales again!

The property was stunning, beautiful views from every window. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was great, with shops, restaurants/bars very close to the property. We drove out to Tenby which was only 30mins away, but the beach at pendine sands was only a 10min drive Laugharne castle was great and you can see it from the property, plenty of walking routes in the area. Lastly the hot tub was a great touch! 100% recommend.

Fabulous house, comfy beds, well equipped, generous and attentive host (who even left a lovely basket of foods for our arrival). But the Cors is more than all of this - from the amazing garden to the heron that kept appearing and hanging out to the many crows in the trees - this place is magical

Stayed for a few days at The Cors. An amazing Arts and Crafts house in Laugharne. A beautiful large garden, lost in time, an oasis of tranquility, yet just minutes from the village and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse. The bedrooms are individually designed, all with big flat screen TVs and modern bathrooms. I highly recommend staying in this extremely romantic, charming and comfortable house.

A brilliant 3 night stay at Cors Country House in Laugharne. Great value for money and ideal facilities for a big group (we had 7 but ample room for several more) including comfortable rooms, bar, pool table & the cinema room is an amazing space! I’d thoroughly recommend this venue and the company who were very responsive throughout our stay, making everything hassle free.

The venue is also very well placed to discover Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We managed to do some outdoor activities such as climbing & archery at nearby Pendine as well as taking in the coastal path between Saundersfoot & Tenby which was just 25 mins drive away.

Great Bnb with ample space. A 10 min walk to the beach which made it very convenient. The hosts were readily available whenever we needed to ask a query. I’d rate this property 5/5.

I recently stayed at Frogmore in Laughne and had a fantastic experience. The rental was located in a beautiful area , including a great view of the nearby castle. The property itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also a very last minute booking and the contact at Great welsh escapes was incredibly helpful at accommodating us.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the attention to detail in the décor and furnishings. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a warm and inviting space that felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway . The location, amenities, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay.

An absolutely beautiful spacious farmhouse with a hot tub. Hanna was an incredible host and went out of her way to hand deliver bbq utensils to us and was very friendly throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay with beautiful views. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing stay in the countryside which you won’t regret. It is a great private space and perfect for couples or families. What a fantastic trip. A lovely large bungalow with everything you could ever need for a relaxing family vacation. Well equipped kitchen with a large dining table for board games and meals. Lovely living room with blu ray and comfy sofas and chairs. Lots of space for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 children and a dog with more to sapre. Lovely personal touches by the hosts Jac and Michelle, the Welsh cakes and wine were a lovely touch as was the help with directions. Highly recommended.

Booking to go to Laugharne I used Great Welsh Escapes and they managed our booking brilliantly. The place we had booked was amazing, a huge 1 bed in a quiet area just walking distances from the town centre and the castle! Highly recommend and I am already using Great Welsh Escapes again in the next couple of months!

Beautifully furnished house in equally beautiful Laugharne - felt like a boutique hotel! Three lovely en-suite bedrooms that have good quality bedding. Easy walk into and around the village.

Had a great weekend at Jac’s place. Two families together ranging from age 7- 74. The house is lovely and spacious so plenty of room to cater for everyone. We had some rain, it didn’t matter though, whilst some were playing pool in the games room, others were playing board games in the dining room, which left the cinema room for playing on the Nintendo switch or watching tv. We made the most of the dry weather and had a couple walks into Laugharne. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The garden is huge and would be wonderful during summer I’m sure.

Simply put, the apartment was great. There was no concerns with being there; a little dusty on the kitchen worktop, but nothing seemed out of place or dirty. Great comms from the host; responsive, friendly and pleasant. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody.

One of the nicest places I've stayed when using AirBnB. A little expensive, but what isn't these days, and it was Easter weekend, so no real complaints there.

The location was good. It was on a main road out of Saundersfoot, so it had a little traffic noise, which was hardly noticeable. A 5-10 minute walk up a hill from the centre of town and out of the way enough that getting out was simple. Convenient parking too.

The apartment was amazing. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything you needed was provided down to an array of herbs and spices to produce any meal if you wanted. The bed was very comfortable bathroom large and spotlessly clean throughout.

The Old School house was beautifully quirky and in an excellent location with lots to explore locally. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The property was exactly as described and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It was booked for my wife’s 50th birthday and what a venue!

The most beautiful apartment in our favourite place (Saundersfoot.) From the moment we walked in we knew we would love it, spotlessly clean & beautiful apartment and they really have thought of absolutely everything!!! Great shower and lovely sized bath. Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

The place is full of character, clean, comfortable and cosy. Spacious and nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is super equipped with everything needed to feel home away from home.
The best feature of the house is its location. The house is in a remote location deep in the Welsh countryside with the most amazing sunsets. Wonderful for us who needed some tranquility and rest.

We had a wonderful stay. This cozy flat is warm, clean and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped and just love the big fridge/freezer, excellent for our long stay. The wifi works well. We had a minor issue in the bathroom and it quickly fixed. The town Laugharne is lovely and welcoming and I only wish we can stay for longer.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a well equipped, extremely comfortable apartment look no further. Nestled high up on the side of a hill it offers wonderful views of the sea and countryside. The apartment has everything you need and more so you don’t have to compromise on the way you spend your holiday. We cooked in a lot which was easy because of the the way the kitchen was equipped - there was nothing missing.

An eclectic mix of styles which were assembled with great aplomb. The quality of renovation showed that great care and consideration had been taken in order to achieve an unique style. Hearing the sparrows chirping outside first thing in the morning was a wonderful way to wake up. Even hearing the trains travelling along the nearby mainline did nothing to disturb the tranquillity of this secret corner of Carmarthenshire. A long weekend was not enough and a return visit is hopeful.

When we got home, my daughter said, “I miss Rhif Un.” What a lovely stylish cottage. Everything was lovely; the sofa, the 72” TV, the bedrooms, the bathroom fixtures… everything!

We ate at one of the pubs in Laugharne and the food was scrumptious. Tenby beach was half an hour away. We parked at the Park and Ride. We ate Florentino’s Italian Restaurant - amazing food here.

Laugharne is very peaceful and there is a park near the cottage. It’s literally a minute’s walk.

The kitchen had everything we needed. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at Rhif Un.

We drove out to Tenby which was only 30mins away, but the beach at pendine sands was only a 10min drive Laugharne castle was great and you can see it from the property, plenty of walking routes in the area. Lastly the hot tub was a great touch! 100% recommend.

Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

Wonderful house very spacious and a great design for multiple guests/ couples as you can all have a private room but then the kitchen dining and living rooms were huge for eating together etc.
Awsome location just 10 minutes walk to the local castle and sea/ estuary aswell as some handy local shops
We went for a family gathering over Christmas and arrived to find a lovely Christmas tree in the living room....a really nice touch!

The neighbours parking outside the gates, it’s a very narrow gateway into the property. Most nights were impossible to get in.

We stayed for 3 nights here as an extended family. Welcome pack on arrival - House had everything we needed as a large group (10). Games facilities were amazing - all in a self contained area and hot tub put to good use overlooking beautiful Welsh scenery.

We had a very nice weekend, the house Is very big and has everything you need. It was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The huge pool was amazing and the outdoor space Is lovely with the peacock coming to visit every morning! Very recommended! We Will definetively come back soon!

We had a lovely break in Saint Clear's. The house was very clean and as described and the hosts were very accommodating.

Absolutely beautiful house. Brilliant location. Everything was a stones throw away. Tenby, folly farm, loads of beaches. We had no issues what so ever. Check in was easy with the key box on location. Comfy beds. Ideal range cooker for large families staying. Would definately recommend and if we were to return to the area (which we probably will) we would try to book this house again.

We had a bad experience staying at another Airbnb so we panicked and found this to be available (luckily) at short notice for the last 3 nights of our house hunting holiday. The cottage had only just been listed and it turns out we were the first guests ever. Everything brand spanking new. Amazing shower. DISHWASHER! TBH I’d give anywhere 8/10 just for this. Super helpful hosts. Lovely village. Sooo friendly. Everyone we met. Big shoutout for the deli next door - outstanding food and a treasure trove of scoffable luxuries. Oh yes, and great wine

The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed in order to have a lovely time! The host was extremely welcoming and recommended some amazing restaurants and places to go. The place was in a great location just a short drive to the beach and a little walk to local pubs and restaurants. Definitely would recommend this place to others!:)

Nice big house in a quiet location with a good size garden and terrace. 3 good size double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Lots of room for the 6 of us plus a dog. It was an easy 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village which had at least 4 pubs, a castle and a beautiful walk along the river. Good walks in the area and easy to get to lovely beaches at Pendine, Tenby and Amroth. We will be back.

A couple of minor things need fixing in the on-suite which I notified the agents about. These did not prevent us from using it and in no way affected our stay.

Dolau Taf is the perfect accommodation for two people. Apart from it being warm & welcoming, it was the little simple but thoughtful touches that appealed. Salt & pepper, herbs & oil for cooking meals & a bottle of red wine to enjoy with your meal. These are things that make the difference on arrival. Thank you Anne & Peter.

There wasn't anything we didn’t like about Dolau Taf apart from having to leave after only three days to continue with our holiday at another location in Wales. We will definitely return in the future.

I booked this house for a birthday trip for my Mum and nieces. The communication prior to arriving was great. It provided lots of info not just about the house but also about the area and restaurants etc.

The house is filled with character and history but restored to a incredibly high standard.

The bedrooms and en suites with lovely and the sitting room and snug just wonderful. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and stylish.

I would highly recommend this property and will certainly be returning.

Overall, great place to stay at. The pictures appeared as if the property was very spacious however the rooms were smaller than we expected.

We found the location & accommodation just perfect. The host(Stuart) is such a nice guy and full of really good recommendations and advice on the surrounding area. The swim/spa area was fantastic and a real attraction that doesn't disappoint .Charlie the Peacock was an added bonus. He really is a sight to behold. We would 100% recommend this holiday accommodation and its host.

Location was idilic and had everything we needed for the perfect break away. Host was polite, friendly and communicative. Saundersfoot and surrounding areas are beautiful. This flat is the perfect base for making the most of it with its sea view and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will gladly return to this location.

Hugh and hazels place was so lovely felt so private and really did think of everything we may need to spare toiletries to milk and battery’s. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise and the hot tub was 10/10. We felt like we were the first guests in the place was that clean! Thank you both again

Best service I’ve ever received from a weekend rental, property was clean and well kitted out.

All in top 1% of places stayed. Ensuite feature ALL bedrooms was a huge feature. Very spacious. Top notch dinner and cookware along with appliances. Washer and dryer was put to good use never having to fret about drying. For small village top notch restaurants right across street.
Felt right home because it was a home.

A beautiful house In a lovely quiet village. We always go away for a summer family week with our grown up kids and their partners and this house was big enough for them to all have their space and a kitchen and outdoor space for us to come together for big family meals .we had poor weather and there upstairs starting area was good for film night The enclosed garden was good for our two dogs.

This house is magnificent - a feast for the eyes if you enjoy this period of architecture. The house is enormous and but warm and comfortable at the same time. Great Welsh Escapes could not have done more to make our stay more special. Can throughly recommend! Will be looking to see what other properties this agency look after because they really are the best!

Beautiful historic house in a peaceful location with amenities in easy reach. The swimming pool is small but great for cooling off and the evening sun on the terrace made it feel quite Mediterranean. Huge rooms and lots of space, we hardly used a couple of the rooms at all. The top floor is great for kids or a family with children as it’s quite open plan. Would highly recommend it for a large family group.

We were blown away with the views, absolutely lovely. The apartment was very warm and welcoming, clean and had everything we needed, and more. Great location for exploring the local area, Tenby and Saundersfoot not being too far to drive to. The Pendine Sands great for a day on the beach.

Ideal place for those looking to get away from it all in a quiet, secluded spot but not too far from the local town/shops and a great base to drive to surrounding beauty spots and places of interest. Also great for dogs, with a large, private area for them to run around. We really enjoyed our time here and would return in future.

We just had a wonderful week staying at Wildhaven. A perfect way to unplug by soaking up the peaceful solitude of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The property has been renovated with great care and attention. A luxurious and modern home from home with that essential vintage farmhouse feel retained throughout. We’ll be back for sure.

We have visited Laugharne several times over the last eight years, and this years stay was definitely enhanced by our stay at Gwalia House. A stunning property with a boutique hotel feel. Couldn’t fault anything. My family & I just loved it! Already looking forward to a repeat in 2021!

This lovely house nestled in the middle of the beautiful town of Laugharne is absolutely exceptional in every way. Absolute perfection, the property is luxurious with beautiful furniture and artworks. Located a few yards away from Browns Hotel with parking too. We had the best time and will be booking another trip next year. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five star!!!

This house deserves its name ‘Great House’.
Every room is spacious … and there are a lot of them over 4 floors! Special mention for the magnificent bathrooms!
Rooms full of furniture, splendid paintings and impressive pottery on display.
As for the basics: the house was spotlessly clean, gas central heating is very effective (plus a log fire), the huge beds are very comfortable and the kitchen comes well equipped.

Wonderful accommodation in a very quiet location but only just out of the village. Bit of a climb up the road if you have a drink in one of the many pubs and restaurants that are only 10 min walk from the accommodation. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The private garden area was a huge plus, the silence only disturbed by a noisy bee, lol. We would certainly stay here again.
