A beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. Gwalia house has been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated. The welcome gifts included home grown tomatoes and a delicious wine as well as some beautiful cut flowers. Also appreciated the very comfy beds and how clean the property was kept. Laugharne is a quaint and peaceful town with the castle, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep. We recommend the local Dylan Thomas Boathouse walk. There’s lovely views of the Gower and River Taf. Also not too far away - a 30-45 minute drive - if you want to visit different parts of the South Pembrokeshire coast.

Amazing place, so unique. The house is more spacious than we expected and it has a lovely log burner which gives it such a cosy feel. You need a car to get around as there is not much nearby that’s walkable but this wasn’t a problem for us. The cafe around the other side of the house did a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful location down a lane on a farm with fields all around and a little lake in front. The cottage has what you need. It was a bit of a squeeze for our pre teens upstairs but caused no issues. The pool is huge and you have sole access during the stay. Our kids used it every day while I enjoyed a sauna! Richard was a great host. Would recommend.

Everything about it. Fantastic place in a beautiful location. The Cors has everything you need. We were 6 adults and 3 children. Loads of room. Pool table, bar, cinema room. Can't fault this place. Truly stunning. Jac was great with communication and I'm sure would do anything for you. Loved every minute of the stay.

Our stay at The Cors Country house for the second time was amazing. From the initial booking experience through to checking out, Jac made regular contact to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful welcome pack including teabags, welsh cakes prosecco & more!
The house is stunning and well equipped including a newly appointed office space with a view to die for and a fantastic modern cinema room that comfortably sat 9 of us. The bar has a stunning botanical wall decoration which lit up to accompany the pool table and gorgeous velvet seating area.
The final beauty of this grand property was its 2.5 acre garden with an array of places to sit and take in the stunning scenery.
Hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this beautiful place again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. it's a fabulous house in a great location with some of the best views you'll find anywhere. The house itself was perfect for the six of us and provided plenty of space both indoors and out. Laugharne is a lovely little town and is a great base from which to explore Camathenshire and Pembrokeshire.
We were so happy to find this property at such short notice and Michelle at Great Welsh Escapes was very helpful with all aspects during our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay in this lovely modern apartment. The location is very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is superbly and tastefully furnished with everything you need to make it feel like home from home. All the facilities were to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean. With lovely views to the sea and private parking it is a real gem and is highly recommended.

Honestly one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Lovely property, we felt so at home. Had the best 3 nights sleep in years. Nice private location, plenty of walks to keep busy for a few days. The host was also great and very responsive. Only minor point would be that I didn’t find the WiFi usable, but I didn’t go for that, and 4G was good (I’m on O2). We have stayed in Laugharne on a number of occasions but not in this property. It is the best in Laugharne for us. Gwalia is beautiful inside and is fully equipped. Yes its on the main road with no parking but don’t let that put you off, you will find somewhere nearby. Pubs and restaurants on your doorstep and the castle opposite.

We absolutely loved the views over Laugharne...spectacular!!! We would never tire of that!! Also, a short walk down the hill from the bungalow and you are in the middle of Laugharne! Perfect 👌 There are a number of pubs and cafes to pick from, all very good and very friendly!! Dylan Thomas' house all 3 to visit and the writing she'd! Laugharne Castle!!

The property is beautiful, contained all essential amenities and the host provided a lovely welcome hamper that was very much appreciated.
A very good size garden that the children really enjoyed playing in when the weather allowed.
The property itself worked perfectly for myself and two children. Very clean and modern and a great size. Having the large utility room with toilet/shower was great addition.
The host was very good at communicating and provided great detail about the property and local attractions on arrival. I'd very much recommend.

For New Years we stayed at the wonderful Fernhill House Laugharne. Not only was the house spectacular the location was perfect!!! Great Welsh Escapes were brilliant-not only from the first contact but from assisting with the booking and throughout our stay. We've already booked again for next New Years.

It had everything we needed and more and can't recommend this place enough. So spacious yet cosy and the hot tub was a real treat.
Hazel and Hugh were very welcoming and came to check we had settled in ok. We really had the best time and look forward to another trip there again sometime.

A beautiful escape! With lovely hosts Paula and Eduard! Wonderful house with everything you need in it! Very clean 👌🏻 comfy beds. Sooooo peaceful! Excellent spot to explore both Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Cottage. Such a peaceful and tranquil place in beautiful surroundings. Close enough to the castle grounds to explore them but far enough away to be in your own space with no one else around.
The house was lovely, full of character, very comfortable and had all we needed. Set in its own woodland to explore and we woke to birdsong, lambs and other livestock in nearby fields. We got the Rayburn range going pretty easily and used it to cook several meals as well as adding some warmth after the sun went down.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Only 10 minutes from Carew Castle which we visited on Sunday morning followed by a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carew Inn opposite.

One of our favourite places to stay ever. Everything about it was wonderful. The dining room was our favourite. Although a family holiday, eating our evening meal in such a room, we felt we need to dress up, such was the grandeur :0)

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The location is fantastic, with an easy walk into Pendine and just a 30-minute drive to Tenby, making it perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

One of the highlights was the stunning panoramic views – absolutely breathtaking and something we never got tired of. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and tidy, and it smelt lovely on arrival, which made it feel welcoming straight away.

The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. Overall, a brilliant place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!

This house was perfect for our needs. Daughter, son in law & grandchildren (age 2 & 3) slept downstairs and the rest of us were upstairs. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. Two living room areas which were well equipped. Kitchen also had plenty of space and all that was needed for our stay. We appreciated the car parking space rather than parking on the street as the village is quite narrow in places. We didn’t use the log burner as the house was lovely and warm & there was always lots of hot water.
We would definitely recommend this house & would book again. Booking with Welsh Escapes was easy and communication excellent.

Close to the coast and attractions easy to get Around (if you got a car). Place was clean and looked like the pictures, easy and flexible check in. Hugh and Hazel were fantastic hosts and the house has everything you can imagine - every little thing is thought of - the house is easily accessible and is so peaceful - the hot tub in the garden is an amazing addition and completed the stay for us. Footprints is a fantastic apartment in a great location, short walk downhill into Saundersfoot, which is a gorgeous town. Apartment is spacious and really well presented with so many extra lovely touches. Large comfy bed. Communication with Sarah was excellent. Chapel View ist ein sehr geschmackvoll und modern und mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Reihenhaus im Zentrum von Laugharne. Wir haben uns von Anfang an hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dylans Boathouse ist quasi gleich um die Ecke. Es sind hundert Meter zum Zentrum des pittoresken Ortes und zum Castle. Von hier aus startet ein schöner und informativer, sechs Kilometer langer Spaziergang, Dylans Walk. Von Laugharne aus kann man kleinere Trips nach Tenby, Gower, die Pembrokeshire Küste starten. Auch St Davids oder Swansea sind noch gut erreichbar.

My stepdaughter and I spent an amazing week over Christmas and it was every bit as we imagined it would be. We took our 2 dogs with us and spent days at the dog friendly beaches near by. It was all so picturesque and peaceful. Would recommend it 100%

Well what can I say! This accommodation went above and beyond our expectations completely, it is an absolutely stunning property equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday! It is also completely disabled friendly which is a lovely touch of inclusivity. We would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owners are such kind people also ( The hamper your greeted with is a beautiful touch also ). Super comfy seating areas and beds, lots of cupboards and wardrobes for storing your holiday essentials and the kitchen is completely fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! The Cottage, Laugharne offers a huge, warm Welsh cwtsh. Set on the stunning estuary, the house with its magnificent rooms and facilities is an absolute gem, for groups and families. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. The area is fab with lots of good places to eat and some good local walks.

This apartment was so lovely, so comfortable and cosy. It was like being home from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and more ( foil , oven gloves, kitchen roll , dishwasher tablets, etc). There was even a selection of teas and coffees.
Our host obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests feel welcome and have everything they might need.
My husband and I have rented a lot of accommodation in lots of different countries, and this has to be the best place so far.
I would highly recommend this apartment.

One word - amazing. Is how I would describe this place. Peaceful and beautiful, this place is perfectly located to the west of the national park in the Black Mountains. Which is amazing for long walks great for the dog. The place itself is stunning, clean and well maintained.

We had such a lovely relaxing time, the accommodation was beautiful and the view is spectacular. No effort was spared by the host, there was even Christmas decorations and a tree setup for our stay over Christmas, as well as a welcome pack. The furniture was neat and stylish and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area, it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay for us.

WOW! This property was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are incredible. The house itself is furnished beautifully, amazing artwork and a mix of modern and an older feel! The property is so quirky, you really won’t find anywhere else like this. Jac was amazing throughout the booking process and whilst at the property too. He even got 50 balloons and a bottle of bubbly for my mum when I said we were coming for her birthday, so kind! Our dog Alfie loved the garden. The fact that this dog friendly makes it even better! A beautiful barn in a very tranquil setting. We had storm Floris and could hardly hear it. We had everything we needed. Even the patchy internet signal was workable and meant less screen time which was a positive! So many lovely places to visit from sandy and pebble beaches, castles and beautiful gardens or shopping all within an hour. Great pub and café food in Laugharne and a warm welcome from all. Would highly recommend it. It really was relaxing and just beautiful.

Spent 2 days there fabulous chalet containing everything you need with a fabulous view of the beach and sea ,self contained ,dogs allowed and hot tub and privacy and parking. I am not sure about wheelchair access you need to inquire but overall a great experience and only 15 miles from Tenby, loved it.

Lovely cottage with all modern comforts incl.uding dishwasher and smart TV. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
The cottage is recently built but in keeping with the period cottages and houses of King Street, Laugharne. Beautiful peaceful area with good shops and pubs and restaurants. Even has its own castle. Plenty to see; TV series "Keeping Faith" was filmed there and writer/poet Dylan Thomas lived there.

I would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. Paula and Edward were such wonderful hosts and we felt very welcome and at home instantly. The cottage is spacious, cosy, clean and charming. The bed was comfortable and a peaceful night sleep was a guarantee. Views from all windows of the cottage were idyllic! We had a mix of weather during our holiday which allowed us some enjoyable and restful time in front of the log burning stove - bliss!
The location is brilliantly situated close to lots of good walking trails, a short drive to many charming towns and villages and the water.

What a fantastic place to stay, the Barn is beautifully styled, clean and homely. The location is great for short car rides to the beach, woods and shops. Loved seeing all the animals wondering around, hosts were so welcoming and even gave a basket of home grown vegetables!

An Airbnb that was actually better than the photos! We absolutely loved our stay here and were gobsmacked by how beautiful the place was. We felt like absolute kings/queens!
The place was very neat and tidy considering how big it is to clean. Lots of ammenities and activities to keep you busy inside or outside and walking distance to plenty of nice places close by.
The hosts were also very generous and allowed us to check out slightly later even on short notice.
Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

We loved our stay at Beudy at Pentrecelyn. The accomodations were comfortable and so beautiful. The barn has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate. The owners of the property, Colin and Nia, were very friendly and so helpful - we greatly appreciated the ride to the railway station. The farm is beautiful and private, but is a nice walk to town for shopping and dinner. We woud definitely stay here again.

The most stunning views of the harbour from the bay window make this a holiday to remember. Do bring binoculars to watch the boats coming and going.
The apartment is very comfortable with excellent beds and both a shower and bath.
You are very close to the centre of Tenby so shopping, eating and sight seeing are all within easy reach.
Do be aware that if you arrive in the summer (7/7 to 12/9 this year) you will not be able to unload outside the apartment until after 5.30 pm due to local traffic restrictions.

The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a lovely stay. The garden is large and secure, so we didn’t have to worry about our dog escaping, and it was great to have a heated swimming pool.
