Location
There’s plenty to see and do in and around Ferryside, making it a wonderful base for exploring the Carmarthenshire coast. Right on your doorstep, you’ll find Ferryside Beach, a peaceful sandy stretch ideal for walks, picnics, and watching the tides of the River Towy estuary. The village has a welcoming pub, The White Lion, and a popular café, The Ferry Cabin, both perfect for a relaxed meal or coffee with a view. In the summer months, you can even take the ferry across the estuary to Llansteffan, where you can wander up to the impressive Llansteffan Castle and enjoy panoramic views over the bay.
Just a short drive away lies Carmarthen, one of Wales’s oldest market towns, with independent shops, restaurants, and a historic castle. Great location, peaceful surroundings & a beautiful view to wake up to.
The beach is right outside the door, never busy which we loved with our nervous dog.
House was lovely & had everything we needed for our trip.
