There is a modern spacious kitchen, with exposed beams and vaulted ceiling. The kitchen has all mod cons including a dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine and all the items that you can expect to be able to rustle up a family meal. Also benefiting from a dining table and chairs, and high chair for use.

Open plan from the kitchen is the bright and airy living room surrounded in glass, with a large flat screen Smart TV
Bedrooms
The one level bedrooms are perfect for guests with limited mobility, as well as one having a disabled shower ensuite. Both bedrooms are spacious, with storage and flat screen TV’s, and have Super King beds but can be split to a twin upon prior request.
Bathrooms
There are two modern and spacious ensuite bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and disabled shower facilities, and the other with a bathtub and shower over it, ensuring ultimate privacy for guests with their private facilities.
Outdoor Space
One of the highlights of the property is its lovely outdoor space, complete with a BBQ and comfortable seating, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the area. There is also a shared garden area with seating.

The Local Area
Cysgod Y Ffordd is a barn conversion, just a few minutes drive from the ancient town of Carmarthen “the oldest town in Wales”. It is just under 2 miles away to the centre of town, and has many local independent shops, bars, restaurants and an indoor market. The town has a Roman Amphitheatre, castle, and a museum in the old Bishop’s Palace and lovely river walks.
Carmarthenshire is home to the wonderful Botanic Gardens, as well as lovely market towns such as Llandeilo, home to Dinefwr Park and Castle, all on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
Further afield you can find many award winning beaches and attractions, such as Pembrey Country Park, Pendine Sands and the famous Pembrokeshire National Park with its glorious seaside towns such as Tenby.
Pembrokeshire stands out as a haven for thrilling water sports, stunning coastal walks, and some of the freshest seafood, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. Inland, the area is brimming with family-friendly activities, including adventure parks, magnificent castles, and enchanting boat trips, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday.

The cottage was lovely and had everything we could possibly have needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed using the barbecue and outdoor seating. The location was good with lots to do close by. Just perfect!

It was well equipped with all the necessities, and when we did have a request it was dealt with promptly. It was single level and had a great laundry room.
the only criticism is there was inadequate storage for the suitcases in the bedroom.

From booking the property for our holiday to checking out today everything has been superb. All messages and enquiries were responded to promptly and courteously. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and we were able to explore the length and breadth of south west Wales. The facilities at the property were five star. Couldn't fault anything. Bendigedig!

This Cottage is an absolute gem, easy to find. It was absolutely spotless. It was very well equipped . The property was in a perfect location for us as we have family and friends in Carmarthenshire. We absolutely love the layout.
My aunt is disabled and they had disabled facilities which were a great asset to her . We will be returning early next year.
