Barafundle Bay
Pembrokeshire
This beautiful hidden beach with golden sands is part of the wider Stackpole Estate a listed designed landscape. The beach is set between limestone cliffs backed by undulating dunes that lead into a cool and pretty forest teaming with wildlife all year round and full of garlic and bluebells in the spring. Once owned by the Cawdor family and inaccessible to the public until it came into the care of the National Trust, this is a jewel of a beach only reachable on foot.
